I heard if he adds more shares it gonna make it harder for shorts to survive.

Wait… He said what? That's actually disgusting lol. Here I was thinking he was the silverback of the squad, turns out he's just as delusional as many other wall street looneys. It was the people who like the stock, wanted to make wall street pay, and also wanted to make some money who saved AMC. It's the YouTubers/influencers and redditors who saved AMC. Management had nothing else to do but answer our questions and not somehow royally fuck shit up, which AA almost did with the several dilutions.

I think you're making the assumption that he would have issued the shares if the shareholders had approved.
Adam said he wanted to use the shares primarily as a threat – he did not say he would actually issue the shares.
I'm confident you would agree that complex business strategies account for more than mere "basic supply and demand."
Regardless, I think the point is now moot because AA's building value without the additional shares.
But AA gets a little more credit in my book.
Not only is he dealing with an international business but also – to be frank – threats, uneducated investors, and crybabies.
Further, he's allowed to express facts and have opinions about how he thinks his shareholders should vote or should have voted.
We don't HAVE to agree.
But we SHOULD respect his opinion.
I actually found it refreshing that he was a little rougher around the edges this time.
Wish we could get him an "anger translator" like from Key&Peele.
I dunno . . . maybe once he's retired we can get a memoir of what his mental impressions were since his company was deemed a "memestock."

Impressive leadership doesn't explain how the movie-going experience at AMC theaters has deteriorated significantly since before the pandemic-era (At least in my area). Short staffed theaters are a mess (Literally disgusting) and it almost seems like nobody there knows how to run the marquees for each theater bay because they either aren't on or are incorrect. So say what you want, Adam, but sitting up in your executive offices gobbling up smaller theater chains with OUR money to wait for a bounce back in movie goes isn't going to mean anything if the experience doesn't improve.
Set alerts on price and go on with our lives. Holding my shares but tired of being pushed back and back. Holding till the end.

It feels like AA is intentionally trying to f-off the apes with the suggestions of execs getting bonuses, that they're the ones responsible for saving AMC, that increased supply = increased price and that it's the apes fault for a decreased current price.. If I didn't know better I'd think he was trying to make apes bail on AMC, but I can't imagine why he would do that…

GenX and older have this cynical thing where they conjure wild thoughts to satiate their own psyche' need to find position of blame. They get dark and dirty, his was merely inappropriate and showing he is becoming(?) disgruntled.
