I'm going to love this one. I know I'm probably just being so dramatic and annoying, but this is my first job. like my first 9 to5 job after college and I'm in person and I'm commuting in the city and it takes me forever to get there. I don't have time to do anything I don't I want to shower, eat my dinner, and go to sleep I don't have time or energy to cook by dinner either.
like I don't have energy to work out like that's out the window. like I'm so upset. oh my God nothing to do with my job at all. but just like the 9 to 5 schedule in general is crazy I don't have time for anything and I'm like so stressed out and I'm also getting my period so that's why I'm all emotional but like am I so dramatic.

A 30 hour work week leads to more of if not the same productivity as a 40 hour work week. We're getting the finite amount of time we have on this planet ripped from us for literally nothing. Maybe once you learn that, youll have just a tad bit more empathy. Or youll just keep defending the status quo 🤷♂️
Does it seem pathetic? Yes, but you didn't prove her wrong or how this is justified. You just pointed at something else dumbass. Two wrongs don't make a right. That's called, wait for it,…logical fallacy. Maybe try making actually argument next time.
Let's not kick someone who's already down. Of course she is privileged to have only had that wake-up call later in life compared to others but let's all be honest here: 9-5 jobs really do feel like a scam. I think there is a bigger discussion to be had about entry job requirements and conditions nowadays. Props to her for being vulnerable on the internet ❤
I do like musical stuff like that I’m in highschool anyhow I’m at school sometimes from 7 am to 9 pm and I have time to shower at night. Though I can’t really relate because I don’t do anything very labor related.

I do 14 hours commute to work work come back home the. Do chores when I get home how's that ?
I had a job where hours were unpredictable other than the fact you knew they would be long. 156 hours in two weeks. Had the weekend off too. 14-16 hour days

I gained 30 lbs my first job. 1 hour commute one way. Rough transition you go from 2 hours of class a day on average to a 40 hour week and then if you are like this girl never worked a day in her life whew I’m sure it’s a shock to the system haha

Construction work is easy once you do it long enough. I’m sure this girl will be fine at her job. Not sure about the period problem though. Never had that issue 😁
🙄 Ive been a self employed carpenter in the Midwest for 10 years. I work 60 hours a week and that’s not including travel time. Imagine having to work in 20 degree temps 10 hours a day 3-4 months a year. She has no idea what real work is. 🦆🪚
