Games will NEVER die lol. Even if slow right now, gaming will only get better and more addicting. Games have been things whether is computer or tik tak to, games will never die lol. Especially console, PC.

    Love the content Matt!

It's because they are not putting out a lot of NEW games. Just upgrading and adding DLC to the same damn games.

There are many reasons games aren't as good as they could be.
The rushing to release, Pay to win mechanics, re-using the same tired and dried layout (like Ubisoft) and many more things… Halo Infinite is a great game, but it suffers the greed of devs.
    HOWEVER!
Video games are still amazing. I may not understand Fallout Guys, but I see people having fun with it. If you ever want a true experience and to stream a game, I dare you to try Elden Ring. Games are and will always be a work of art to the true developers and appreciated by fans.
If you don't truly play games with a passion, you should talk to someone who does. I see some people talk about how games used to be amazing and they aren't wrong. But there are still absolute masterpieces being made.
I cannot say enough on the topic of video games. I've played every console from Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony and most from Sega and Atari. The only major company I can think of that I didn't play the love out of is the Commodore computers… and I guess the Virtual Boy from Nintendo… Not including the Nintendo Playstation because only 2 exist and only one works.
The only thing I want you, Matt, to understand is… Keep NFTs out of my video games. Because if anything kills games, it will be greed. We don't want a repeat of ET on Atari.

I've been gaming since it hit the market, and this is the worst it's been. Gaming has taken the proverbial dumb since "Hollywood" joined gaming full-time. Games are super broken, buggy and the Devs release Alphas so they can get the free beta testers e.g., us gamers and we don't get paid for helping their sorry asses. Just look at EA and their decline with their Battlefield series. I've played all of them starting with BF1942 which was released in 2002 and the following Battlefield releases have all gotten worse and worse.

Anyways, gaming nowadays is less bang for the buck IMO.

Supply chain issues, stock issues, and crypto have effected gaming, people still can't get a PS5 for example, also people haven't been able to buy gaming GPUs for the last 2 years at regular prices, so we have had less people enter the gaming space than the potential number, due to these barriers to entry

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chemistry_bro says:

Like we always say, zoom out, look how gaming has grown, look how it's gained on the movies/TV industry over the last 50 years. Looks good to me 😊

    no

Mainly it’s quality over price. Triple A gaming has been charging full price for garbage, glitched, incomplete games.

Gme is not a good look at how the industry is doing. Stock wise gamestop is fun. As a consumer most people hate them and their practices.

Just the slightly used game of β€œi bought it yesterday and played it once, why did the value drop to $5 from $65?”
    And that was years ago.
That’s worse than cars off the lot.

Add in micro transactions loot boxes that consumers are tired of…

    Ya the industry needs reform.

Gaming has always been the future of humanity. From a Matrix point of view, it makes sense right ?

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Ch says:

Haven’t bought a video game in the longest time. Games are overpriced and most games try to suck all the money out of the gamers. Buy a 65-70 dollar game and expect you to fork over more money with battle passes, expansions, characters, cosmetic skins, etc.. games aren’t what they use to be.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Henry Ruan says:

Well I play video games everyday, SMH

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars louie vasquez says:

1st of all, is still difficult to buy a PS5/XBOX SERIES X. Gaming industry will never die. This is a hit piece.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mic Fitzz says:

Paywalls …charge people just to see the ending to a game…dlc’s cost as much as the base game…fewer rewards …no innovation…and a shit load of broken promise’s …. All of this can kill it

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ridge life says:

They are going to the movies. Lol

I've been playing a bunch of games. But I've been playing games that I've owned for a while now.
