We're starting a little bit early because we have a couple extra things to go over and I also might have to end it a little bit early because that whole lawyer Trump thing that I wanted to do an interview with it's going to be happening right after today's stream, which means we'll be able to get it posted tomorrow. So a little bit of a slight change up into Today's show, but I also wanted to start early to I guess get into two different stories with you so as many of you know, I've recently started a saga if you will, into the world of no-show socks. I have now for the second time gone out into the wild wearing no-show socks and we talked about this a little bit yesterday and it involved me going out to Korean barbecue and we were going out because my buddy just told his like boss he's quitting his job doing something else. so a little bit of a celebration.

It was a great old time and then it took a turn. In fact, it took a very very brutal turn. Completely real girlfriend was there and my two buddies were there and we were talking about this recent weekend where I was at a wedding with it was like her friends. it was their wedding and her friend group.

There's six girls there and they're all really close with each other from college and whatnot. and then every one of those girls like they have a plus one like the guys group and we kind of don't know each other at all there. I was enjoying Korean barbecue my ankles exposed to the entire world. so I'm feeling a little bit vulnerable if you will and the conversation gets into this particular wedding group of girls and all the plus ones.

and I don't know how it particularly came up, but it was stated by my own completely real girlfriend that the ranking of all the plus ones apparently I'm tied for a third. as in, there's a guy who's way better than me, apparently another guy who's better than me apparently. Then there's a guy I'm tied with and then it goes to five and six folks I am like one errant joke away from being in the bottom half of this group. not a group that I particularly care about, but just because of my competitive nature, it was stated aloud.

Ankles exposed me feeling vulnerable that I'm I'm almost in the bottom half of this group if we were to bell curve it out I'm on the left side and then my own completely real girlfriend saying This and like she's basically just announcing to the entire Korean sector of Manhattan that apparently I'm a massive massive loser I can't even be in the top half of these plus one groups. So like it was, for very, very evident reasons, my mind was all over the place last night. I just I don't know I couldn't keep it together I like what? how do you come back from that? Seriously, what time for a new girlfriend? I just need to get into a whole new group I just need to like be like a child. When you're losing the game, you just flip the board over and you're like oh, we're restarting.

Honestly, that might be the most legitimate thing I could potentially do at this point is just restart I I don't know. It just seems like I'm too deep in a hole that I could possibly get out of this one like they're like what The real question is, what do these guys have that I don't and then I was told I'm like oh I asked I was like, well, why am I in the bottom half This makes no sense I'm the best Trader on this side of the Mississippi a mover and Shaker I'm a I'm a Rainmaker I have a moon Gang clothing line like what's going on here I'm fashion forward, ankles exposed, no show socks like how am I in the bottom half and then I was told that it was something about being like more attentive and like involved in their lives or some like that that I didn't really listen to because it sounded boring. But how Wild I got put in the bottom half of a group I Have to admit it was an emotional dagger to The Harp an emotional dagger to the exposed ankles if you will. So today, tomorrow this weekend I Think it's emotionally going to be a rough time I Was going to give everyone an update on the Korean barbecue situation last night, but I just don't think that the tweets would have landed well last night I was just, um, mentally not in the space I needed to be to you know, throw some comedy out into the world I think it was I was just hurt that you're deaf of bottom.

So basically yeah, if um, you guys see any polls that relate to my completely real girlfriend friend group I'd appreciate a couple votes I don't really know how they do the stack ranking here. um, but apparently I'm A if I get drafted out of this group for whatever event I'm just like I'm tied for the middle like like I said. one little misstep and I will officially be in the second half. Pretty much a little bit of an undershot of yesterday's high, but once again, it's still pre-market trading the market.

This is the time for it to bounce or break. Tech is looking very weak. so if we were to split this all up in sub sectors, Tech is looking particularly weak. oil is looking particularly strong.

so obviously just not every sector subsector within the market is always doing the exact same. Sometimes that happens, but right now we're at a little bit of a big Tech is bringing down the overall. Market I mean look at Tesla on your screen 182 Shout out to those Tesla puts we got into yesterday or at least I got into because I'm the best Trader On this side of the Mississippi Meta's coming down, banks are holding kind of flat and then things like oil, well oil is now going back up to 81. So we have a lot of the oil sector looking pretty good and remember, this all relates to OPEC cutting the supply, cutting their production to the tune of 1.6 million barrels per day.

Obviously, if demand stays the same, Supply goes down, that forces price upward. So right now, the oil industry is benefiting. So the name of the game for today: Thursday April 6 is strong energy strong Commodities I Know we haven't really talked about that, but gold, silver, those types of things looking pretty good, and then weakness we're seeing in the tech sector. Obviously, that's what's going on as of now, things could change very quickly as soon as that Bell goes, but that's the current breakdown of the situation in terms of the Spy we've been on.

Just such a rip from Monday March 23rd to the peak, it was up 7.9 percent in my book. even though it's a seasonally strong month for those of you who haven't been in class for the past couple days. first of all, Demerit, this will be reflected in your end of semester grade, but maybe you just didn't take notes or something. April's a very strong month depending on what asset class you're looking at.

Depending on the time frame you're looking at, April's typically the best or the second best month of the entire year. It's seasonally a very strong month, but with that being said, I have puts right now on the Spy I Bought them yesterday or two days ago and my reasoning for this is I Just think mean reverse is going to play itself out I think there's too many people who are bullish for a little bit there I Thought there were too many people who were bullish so I was bearish now I think then it kind of flip-flopped then I thought there was too many people who are bearish and then all of a sudden it'll pop. I'm always of the mindset that the market as an uncanny ability of screwing over the most people at any moment in time. So whenever I see either the bull boat or the bear boat getting a little bit too crowded, that's kind of my signal that I want to go to the other one I want to be there with less people because I'm an introvert and I don't feel like talking to all the people on the ship that's about to sink.

But right here I think there's too many people who got jacked up. They're like, yeah, like we bounced off the trend line. we're taking care of the banking sector. Maybe the geopolitical situation isn't that bad, and the market kind of gets a little bit ahead of itself.

Now is this the right thesis? I don't know. well I'd rather just Monday Morning Quarterback ask me if this was the right play in a couple weeks and I could either try to sweep it under the rug and act like I never made a bad trade or I could get it right and I could just keep bragging to all of you and be like yes, I am the best Trader on this side of the Mississippi that's the beauty of hindsight bias being 20 20. being a Monday Morning Quarterback all the good things I need to explain to you that's the secret to content creation and then all my missteps I kind of I bring it up and then I'm like, okay, like time to move on to the next thing. So that's where we're at I Think the market got a little bit ahead of itself and I know that I'm fighting seasonality, but I think it's time for a little bit of a mean reversion play.

Maybe the Gap fill the 404 35. Maybe the Gaff builds a 401.60 396.50 might be a little bit of a reach just because that's a considerable pullback, but it is still totally possible. S P 500 Futures are flat as investors weigh health of job, market and economy. So we got the jobless claims this morning that same report that we get every every single Thursday and right now you can see we're coming down a little bit.

The number actually came in higher than expected I Believe By about 28 000 we're going to check in on that. Uh, at first the reaction was decent here. let me bring up the Futures market for you. Uh, we were going up all the way till 75, 7, 45 and then at 8 30 is when this report came out so big pop and now we are quickly giving it all back.

um just to zoom out and give you more of a filled out charting view. Here's the look of what's been going on in the futures of like we are making lower highs, lower lows I'm watching this 4 100 region I Don't think you could see that well. I think my head is blocking it. but in terms of the Futures Market clearly that's a key technical level.

It's a key psychological level. It's exactly the low we bounce off of yesterday. That's what I'm watching. 4100 in the Futures market and that's roughly equivalent to 406 in the Spy the ETF tracking the S P 500..

I don't this. This might be a little confusing, but maybe for people who haven't like figured out the exact differences, the S P 500 is actually tracked by SPX This is The Real McCoy This is the real thing. SPX is the S P 500 Index And then if you look at the Spy this is an ETF that is created by standard and pores to track the S P 500. And then if you look at Es, this is the S P 500 on the Futures market.

So I know that's like we're talking about the S P 500 and this is all essentially the same stuff and just like three slightly different versions. But SPX is the real thing. spy is an ETF tracking the real thing. and then Es is the Futures tracking the S P 5 S P 500.

So I'm I Know we kind of use those a little bit interchangeably, and like once in a while there's a slight difference between them. but overall, they're going to have pretty much mirrored price action throughout the entire day just for a little bit of a teaching lesson there. But anyway, right now we're going down. Down, Down Down Oil is pretty much breaking even.

Um, actually I think it's a little bit higher. Oh no. coming down slightly right now and yields ever so slightly going up all right. This is the newsletter from yesterday.

This is the breakdown for today based on the past 25 years. As you can see, it's actually a bullish day. The Bulls have won this day three out of five times and the profit factor is 2.91 The best way to interpret profit factor is for every dollar spent how many dollars are returned. So for every dollar spent, 2.91 has been returned.

If you've gone long at the moment, Market open and then selling at Market close on this individual day. It is a bullish day for the overall. Market Does that mean today has to be a green day? No, because I mean 40 of the time 4 and 10 times two out of five times the Bears have one. but the seasonal buys of today based on history has obviously benefited the Bulls uh then a breakdown of my account and blah blah blah all the current positions that I'm in and the details of my reasoning.

and also I just talked about how Tesla started to show some weakness. you can see from the screenshot here. if I were to make it a little bit bigger, I was talking about Tesla's weakness at 186 and I believe that's actually been working out really well. Tesla currently trading at 182, so even that one trade alone would pay for the completely free newsletter.

So just something to consider. A lot of talk recently about oil. So I want to dive into that a bit more? These are the countries that will be most hit if oil prices reach 100. Now, because of Opec's decision to cut production, a lot of analysts are starting to change their tune and a lot of people are starting to put their price Target at 100 or even higher depending on who you ask on Sunday OPEC Plus announced a production cut of 1.16 million barrels I know I've been saying 1.6 instead of 1.16 and that's just because I'm including the larger group there are smaller Nations who have added into the saying hey, we're cutting production as well.

Uh, in a move that oil markets we're not expecting some annuals are forecasting oil prices to be driven up to 100 per barrel. It's a tax on every oil importing economy. It's not just the US that would feel the most pain from 100 oil. So basically you have to look at the largest consuming Nations Um, basically Nations that import a lot of oil.

think of U.S think of China These are massive consumption based economies. The surprise out cut output cut by OPEC and the dolly sent oil prices rallying and analysts say major oil importers like India Japan and South Korea will feel the most pain if prices hit 100 per barrel Once again, India Japan South Korea We're just naming consumption-based economies that don't produce their own oil in the U.S It's a little bit kind of also crazy because yeah, we have a lot of oil, but we're not the biggest producers because of the ESG kind of left-leaning ideology push, so we're not. We have a lot, but we're not refining it like we've actually capped out our refineries utilization. It's a weird scenario we're getting into and it was all political.

For the midterms, they really went into the Spr the Strategic petroleum. Reserve they flooded the market with oil just so they could bring gas prices down exclusively for the midterm and that's an interesting play, but it's not a play you can do time and time again if you're playing a video game and you keep like I don't know just smashing all the buttons in Tekken finding. Yeah, you could do that over and over again. But in this scenario, the Strategic Petroleum reserve.

the Spr basically our stockpile of petroleum in the US It only has a finite amount and we've used a considerably. We've used over 50 percent of it. So it'll be interesting to see the play with Energy prices and our own reserves here in the Us as we get into the next political cycle: I.E 2024. Uh, obviously that's not going to be the most exciting aspect of it I suppose because there's so many crazy things going on.

For example, Trump's indictment and arraignment. that will probably be something that's massive because I believe in December is the next time we get the update from this. now that he's been officially charged in his arraignment, Um, the next big update is going to be December So that is going to have a massive, massive, massive influence on all this, so just wanted to share that quickly. Now before we get to all your questions, I Just want to go through this.

We have oil looking strong If we look at things like look at that Exxon crushing it CVX Am I going to get this right ever I Don't think so, is it CVX for Chevron this is the one ticker I can never remember CVX looking strong Oxy looking strong Devon Energy looking strong All the classic major oil plays. Same thing with Right laning. I Like I'm not here trying to say it only happens on one side. It happens on both sides and mainstream media. They just get away with it and their whole goal is just like their bottom line.

Market Um I have one micro which is a tenth of the size of mini. So for all the features Traders out there, I'm still working out the kings of my strategy. There's some issues that I Um, want to fix before I throw quote-unquote real money on it. So I'm trading a micro on each right now just to collect as much data as I can.

I do have all the data on the month of March and basically on a five thousand dollar account in the month of March it returned 1.2 000. So March with this strategy and a little bit of updates, we'll call it, but still the same overall inherent strategy was positive, so that's a good thing. There were some issues. Basically, it did well.

at first. mid month it came down and it actually went red and then the second half of the month it rallied to start this month off for the strategy referring to April it is not looking so good so I would love to lock in some of these winners to start clawing ourselves out of the hole for the month of April. But I basically just need to collect more data, fix some of the code, and improve it before I put actual money behind it. Um, but I just want to keep you updated on all that good jazz.

So basically I I paid a little bit more money in terms of Premium to give myself more time I bought more time because I I'm gonna admit that I don't know where things are going to go every single individual day, but it was more of a bet between now April 6th and then all the way up to April 28th.

I Think there's a very good chance that we get that Gap though and maybe even other gap though. So it's tough to do predictions in a super small time frame. The smaller your time frame, inherently, there's more Randomness involved, especially when you're battling it out at support. What I mean by support is the fact that the Futures market right now is at four thousand one hundred.

very important technical level. very important psychological level. There's going to be a lot of people reacting to this if the Bulls don't step up here. Yeah, it's gonna have a little bit of a puke because the Bulls couldn't end it.

But on the flip side, if they do, step up here, yeah, we could get a 20 30 point rally which would be like two or three bucks on the Spy like it's nothing. So this is at the Battleground. We're literally just waiting to see how this battle plays out and we're in the middle of it right now. I'm just watching this if it starts to push back up.

Bulls are defending in fact. But on the flip side, if we end up cratering and making a new intraday low, well, then that's the reasonable time that we start talking about this. Gap filter to 404 35. that would be my very first Target on the Spy followed by the next Gap fill at 401.60.
