you know, feeling pretty red. uh I decided to pick War I suppose today and uh, I've been calling out all of the people, not all of them because that takes a while. I've been calling out a lot of the people who have just been blatantly blatantly. you know, just sharing misinformation, horribly sharing misinformation and they're getting mad.

they're getting they're getting real mad on. Twitter The interesting thing about all these people who just egregiously lied to you about AMC is when you call them out on it, they like freak out, they have a mental breakdown, their brain literally breaks, and then they lash out, and then they get all their friends within their like little tribe. They're like, please, like and retweet this so it seems like I'm right and they're just losing their mind like itself. It's such a a self-cannibalizing group and they're just losing their freaking mind.

So I want to talk about it? because right now AMC you know, even though we were promised that this would be the squeeze right here, um, and they all swore to you because it's gonna happen tomorrow. uh, it's down now. Another 26 today. um I think um, a a literal financial advisor who's been pumping AMC uh I don't know because he blocked me but I'm being told that he said he's like, uh, accusing me of liable or something and I would love to see that play out.

I would I would love for an actual financial advisor who's been horribly wrong about AMC lying about AMC lying about everything? Actually, do it. Let's go. I will have the most fun possible I Want to get it rocking for sure? Uh, but we'll talk about that in a second. We have a lot more actually important stuff to talk about like the market and this morning I laid out the situation of a bullish or excuse me, a bearish red the other way, a bearish engulfing Channel or a candle creating itself on the overall market.

So I want to talk about that I Want to talk about Nvidia I Want to talk about Rama Swami I Want to talk about Evgeny I Want to talk about Michael Jordan I Want to talk about seasonality I Want to talk about a video I Want to talk about Elon We have a lot to talk about. The list of things that we need to get through I Hope we just do it quick enough so I have enough time to really make fun of these other people and really bag on them for just their absolute hypocrisy, their absolute lunacy. But for that to actually play out, I'm gonna have to get through the other important things that are probably going to be a little bit more impactful to your life: Your trades, your mindset, your framework rather than be just I don't know calling out these clowns so that's what it's going to be. Uh, I'll try to get through it I'll get it through it in an expedient manner.

so like it kind of all makes sense. So anyway, the Spy as of right now down one percent on the day, the cues are down 1.8 So the tech sector uh, relative to the overall Market is having a more sizable hit. and even though things were looking really good after the market closed yesterday and even that market open today Nvidia just not holding its gain. Really, it's technically up right now, but it was up way way more and you can see the accused getting hit.

AMC currently down 25.9 percent. There are some green things on my list, but most are red. most are having a pretty brutal red day, and actually just when I started this I think the Piper algorithm ended up taking another short. I'm noticing a little problem with it that I find frustrating right now.

it's about break even and short at 4401.25 I don't like when it does this I don't like the concept of shorting at a pretty important key breakdown level IE 4400. but hey, it's the algorithm. it's not me. The thing that I find concerning.

and maybe if any of you like I hate these little discrepancies of what's going. Why would it do that? Why? these should be the exact same orders? It's the same chart. One is ESU 23 the actual contract. the other one's that Es kind of like the paper trading hold.

Uh, like just ad es works like you don't need the specific contract. Why is there a difference in the orders? It's blowing my mind. Um, so I need to say oh, actually, this is starting to work and to close. Okay, we'll see how that will will tune back in to see how the Piper strategy concludes the day.

But overall, when I'm saying there's a bearish engulfing candle, this is what I mean I mean we open up above yesterday's high, we sell down, get the gaffle, continue to sell, battle it out at the previous days close Ie43910 and now we are continuing to sell in. In fact, it looks like we might be targeting the low from two days ago, which is 437.60 So this is clearly a bearish development if you ask me. and I'm going to cover this in more detail in just a second. There's a lot of apprehension, a lot of confusion, a lot of fright going into.

Jerome Powell The Chairman of the Fed's discussion tomorrow from Jackson Hole the Jacksonville Symposium he'll be speaking at 10 A.M ET So Market calendars do whatever you need to. technically his commentary and announcements don't happen before the markets open, so in case, maybe you're missing this, so if you're watching this later, you can do whatever you need to with your positions before he starts speaking tomorrow. Is that technically 10 05 A.m ET So I want to talk about that? But overall, let's see what mainstream media says: Dow follows more than 200 points NASDAQ slides despite Nvidia earnings beat. So I'll be talking about all of this, but the Bears are winning today across the board before we get into what's going on today and what to look forward to tomorrow.

I do want to cover some important things that I missed yesterday. so yesterday I had to show it was on Rumble it was a rumble exclusive I did a little bit of a man on the street thing as I was walking to the show but I was in Milwaukee I was invited to do the Mad core show from the GOP Primary debates and that was big news but also I don't know if you guys saw this I don't know if the gravity is different in Russia or something but the Wagner Chief pringonson you're getting the guy who led the Mutiny against Putin the president of Russia you know how they had like quote-unquote a deal and they like accused them of treason, but they said if you stop now everything's gonna be fine. Well his plane kind of accidentally went down and most reports are saying that it was like you know, just one of those casual accident bombs that happened to be on your plane that you didn't know about. So super unfortunate.

and it's just so crazy. Wagner Mercenary Group founder Evgeny Pregansen was listed among passengers on a private jet that crashed as it traveled from Moscow to St. Petersburg All three pilots and seven passengers aboard the plane were dead. I Mean there's video of it.

It does look as if there was some sort of detonation in the plane that caused it to go down. I Don't think this was like accidental by any means. Um, but how what a brutal animalistic thing to take out nine other people who have like potentially nothing to do with it just to get one guy. I Mean that's this just happened yesterday.

Folks like that's crazy. That's absolutely crazy. The crash occurred exactly two months after prison. Pregansen led a mutiny that posed the greatest threat to President Vladimir Putin's nearly quarter Century rule.

Putin had denounced the June Rebellion as treason, but he escaped any retaliation by the Kremlin under deal brokered to end the Revolt as his Fighters came within 200 kilometers 124 miles of Moscow. So allegedly he was just gonna stay in Belarus and Ba. Okay, but and guess when you get flying over Russia there's weird gravity changes and sometimes that's not the best for planes. Uh, so that was a wild update from yesterday.

Like I said, yesterday was the first GOP Primary debate uh Rama Swami makes himself the center of attention at the GOP to pay I have a question for you guys and I don't want to I guess like sway anyone's opinion one way or another. What? Who do you think came out looking the best from the first round of the debate? were you surprised by anything? The thing that really shocked me was there were eight people on the stage and I felt like two to three to four of them. There was just no point in them being there I felt like it kind of just wasted time because we know they have like essentially no shot whatsoever, especially in this particular one. Trump who's the clear front runner by more than 40 points according to any poll wasn't even there and said he did the pre-recorded interview with Tucker Carlson and Tucker Carlson like released it on Twitter and everything so we didn't even get the top guy.

We got the next eight and out of those next eight I mean no offense to the guys pulling very very low but like what was the point I I just didn't understand the point of them being there. like if anything I would I would think that the American people want to know more of the ideas and policies and Concepts from the people who have a bit more of a shot. so we're kind of just eating away at the time like the dudes on the end and nothing against them. They sounded good and whatever they said.

some good things. whatever. but like I don't know. it just feels like a little bit of a of a a waste.

uh DeSantis and Vivek 100 of the Vic by far clown show uh, the sandwich looks stupid Obama pulled terribly at the start too. Yeah, but not this. he wasn't number like eight, especially when there was a such a clear front runner like this. I don't know Vivek only won because he made the most noise.

he's a showman. he's a younger version of Trump. Uh, there was no reason. but I'm glad to see Vivek I watched a trumpet interview.

Uh, not the debate Elder got screwed Elder got screwed VP debate. that's a fair way to look at it. Maybe they were all going hard to try to be the VP uh what's the green thing in the back? look sus the green thing in the back over there. that green thing.

my Rumble thing is that capped cap. that's my Rumble award for getting 69 420 Subs it's actually engraved on it. It's probably my favorite award I've ever really gotten. Nikki Haley I thought she came away looking pretty good I think relative to what I expected I think she was the biggest differential in a positive way like I'm not saying on a relative basis to other people I'm saying relative to how I thought they would perform in the actual performance Nikki Haley was the greatest Improvement and maybe it's just I wasn't informed.

Maybe I didn't know anything about her. Um, but I my mental opinion of how I thought she was kind of just going to be quiet and not say anything I didn't think she was going to resonate if anything I thought she was going to fall a little flat and uh, she didn't It was definitely an improvement on top of how I thought she was going to come off. So I think she did a good job of like just standing out. um, but the two dudes on the end Doug Dougie and Assa uh I don't think they really did anything I think Pence trying to sling mud at the Vic didn't really look good on either of them.

um Tim Scott I just don't think he said anything necessarily memorable I don't know if he said anything particularly bad that got the crowd to boo at him or anything, but I don't think he said anything that's like Gonna Stand in people's minds and resonate with them. Um so I don't know I I Don't know if any of those people did anything good enough to potentially eat at the lead that Trump currently has. and I'm not saying I'm endorsing Trump or anything. I'm just saying like in the polls he's very, very far ahead.

this is still in the world of politics. Political Update: Trump says he'll surrender at 7 30 p.m in Georgia Uh, for the 2020 case, former president agreed to a 200 000 Bond Earlier this week Trump faces four criminal indictments in mid-2024 election run. You know the fact that we're talking about like I think this is his fourth indictment I Think it's kind of losing. Its kind of like wow factor to the public.

It's like one thing if you're going with an indictment, you kind of need to make the first one work. Uh, because now his supporters are just going to Rally behind that. If anything, he's been using this as a way to raise money. I Was looking at the campaign funding going into this, he's by far number one.

I think he's raised 72 million and then the last one that's still somewhat being talked about is Pence who hasn't even raised a million? and the next one is I believe DeSantis In the realm of like 15 ish million. So crazy crazy stuff going on there. But I think all this indictment stuff if the first one doesn't stick I mean even me, someone who like doesn't like stay up to date on a day over day over day I'm just like, oh, really another indictment and maybe that's just me. but I think a lot of people are on that is just like even if we're like kind of interested in politics but like not studying it day over day over day I'm just like really another one.

Um, I think it's it's losing its bite if you ask me. Alrighty, back to the market. August Once again, lives up to the Dismal reputation for stocks, so you know us being here, interested in the nerdy aspects of it? well. August Doesn't historically perform well over the past two to three decades.

This is the performance for August Pretty much sideways now, there is a bit of a bull flare right at the end of the month, but apparently this month we're not seeing it. Who knows, Maybe it's waiting for actor Jackson Hole and also doesn't have to happen at all. didn't happen last year. But I do want to let you know that it commonly sets up a more volatile September the historic performances September Pretty bullish for the first two thirds and then the final third Pretty bare.

So this is taking a quick step back to look at a bigger picture. I know I know I know I Know you guys want to know a little bit more about degenerate Zero DT training. but for those of you who are maybe a little bit more into swing trading, it's good to know the overall seasonality of the S P 500. now I am fully expecting crazy, crazy volatility to play out tomorrow.

So right now there's about a 40-ish percent chance that we get one more rate this year 25 bips and there's about three to four percent chance that we actually get two more rate hikes this year. I'm still of the opinion that we get more no more rate hikes now obviously I reserve the right to change that depending on the incoming inflation data and other related data if the economy is still coming in hot I could see 25 bips, but right now the odds are saying as of now just as of now as we're talking about it for Power Hour On today Thursday August 24th no more rate hikes will that last I Don't know, it depends on the incoming data, but if we were to bet right now, we I think we could be done with radio hikes. But once again, we have to pay attention to the incoming macro economic reports. Some of the scary things relate to the world of real estate.

Mortgage rates in the US jump to 7.23 high since May of 2001. we're at a 22 year high If right now you're attempting to buy in the world of like housing real estate if you're buying real estate right now and I'm not talking about cash deals I'm talking about going to the bank getting your 15 or 30 year old, your mortgage. so very expensive. For the same amount of money that you could have got like two years ago, you're buying much less of a house. I Mean check this out. Nvidia Yesterday, closing in the realm of 470, goes all the way up to 520. today opens up around 502 and unfortunately can't hold really coming back to 472 which is essentially the close from yesterday. So Nvidia Going crazy and man oh man was its Revenue Sky Freaking.

High Uh, the shares were up and right here. Nvidia Said sales would be about 16 billion in the three months ending in October as in the quarter written right now and before that, they beat 11 and before that, they were expecting seven. So it was just they're beaten by billions of dollars a huge percentage. And it just shows you that, some aspect of the AI bubble is still like look at this.

comes in at 10.6 billion, 15 billion 31.3 billion. This is year over year of the financial year. Look at what's going on. This is just the data.

Like it. it's just so dominant. So insanely dominant. So it shows you at least part of the AI boom is still on and well.

And it shows you that one particular company NVIDIA is really, really, really benefiting off of it. I Highly recommend watching the movie Air which kind of just depicts the deal between Nike and Jordan and how they made the Air Jordan It's a pretty cool story. interesting how that business Avenue came about, but obviously beyond that Michael Jordan By many considered to be the goat has struck pretty good business deals.

Obviously, today did not play out in terms of how seasonality normally goes today. So the equity curve gonna have a little bit of a pullback here next year. but for tomorrow Friday August 25th. It's pretty much a neutral day. The Bulls aren't being supported by Tailwinds the Bears aren't being supported by headwinds.

It's a neutral day. So I'm not going to be bullish or bearish because of seasonality. I'm going to be bullish or bearish because of how things look. Pretty freaking bad right now.

This is referred to as a bearish engulfing candle. When you open up above the previous high, sell down, get the capital, and continue to sell down to the previous low, and then break through that and keep selling to the low from two days ago that is Bearish. Bearish. Bearish.

Bearish. Bearish. Bearish. Bearish.

Now is this a guarantee that tomorrow's going to be bearish? I Have no idea. It's very, very very dependent on what drum pal does or doesn't say and more importantly, how the market reacts to it. So that's what's going to decide if tomorrow is green or red. But as of right now, just from classic price action reading.

this is a bearish development. so my mindset going into tomorrow is to look for bearish opportunities. but I'm not necessarily going to be married to that particular concept. Uh, but I mean you see the Spy getting rocked.

The cues are getting rocked in videos getting rocked AMC's getting rocked AMC yeah is getting rocked for um, a different reason? A different reason. But this is because Adam Aaron and all of his little sycophantic buddies are just, um, they just they're just lying to everyone and they just I don't know if they truly believe it or if they see it as something else, but it's insane. Uh, one thing I wanted to look at. where was it? where was it? uh yeah.

But anyway, Peter a sycophant of Adam Aaron and honestly, if he is a Certified Financial if he is, he's one of the dumbest people ever.

I've called him out for being wrong about ever. dude. he supports bigams. He doesn't know anything about dark pools.

he doesn't know anything about options. This guy, if he really is a financial advisor I feel so incredibly bad for any for any of his clients like they have to be getting the worst advice in the world. This guy is as dumb as they come. I Didn't know that they gave out Cfas to people with single-digit IQs I I It blows my mind.

but anyway, some fool today was asking me if I would be apologizing to the No investors because he wanted people to vote Yes and look at how that worked. Kudos to him. This comment seems to have gotten under my skin. The Novo: The No voters were always wrong AMC Even the Novos were always wrong.

Are you kidding? It seems like they were pretty right to me. AMC Even as it moved into position of cash flow positive cash flow, the capital, pay down debt and not being able to use AP effectively cost the opportunity to take over time world I Think it means sin world but obviously also wasn't an English major properties at a huge discount with no reverse split AMC Would have used the Preferred Shelf to issue billions more in Ape and likely sold so much of it at crappy prices as to dilute the stock into Oblivion that's what they're doing now, you or just left Apalone as a worthless appendage, which it is, but the threat of the conversion would have always weighed on AMC Stock M No I think he just means no voters. Did he read this at all? Is this real I don't know if this is real I don't want to like pick on him that much. if does he just write like this like he's just that dumb or didn't care to and maybe AAA would have been as aggressive in selling Ape as I feared.
