What's going on moon gang, i hope that you're having a great day, my name is matt, and this channel is all about stocks trading and investing in this video i'll be doing a technical breakdown of tilray, afria, sndl and cgc. So we're better prepared for the upcoming trading week before i get into all that, though, the moon gang is making a push to 100 000 subscribers. By going over to that bell, icon and switching it to always now before we hop into the technical analysis, i want you to understand that i am a long-term bull on the community.

On the sorry, i am a long-term goal on this sector as a whole. I am invested in apha. I have 50 shares at an average of 20, so i'm pretty much break even, but i think, as more of the federal restrictions on the sector are lifted, that these stocks will continue their trip upward. Now with that being said now that you know that i am a long-term bull, i'm pretty much all these socks, let's get a better idea of what might happen in the short term.

So on the screen. Now i have the 30 minute chart for tilray, but let me quickly go over some things for those of you who are new to the channel um on these yellow lines are technical levels of support and resistance. When i say that when i'm say support, it's just a previous price level that the stock is bounced off of and when i save resistance, that's just the price level that the stock has been rejected by on top of that, we also have this technical indicator on The bottom, which is rsi, which stands for relative strength index and basically just maps, bullish momentum against bearish momentum when it gets very high, that's a lot of bullish momentum and when it gets very low. That's a lot of bearish momentum.

A lot of day traders swing traders and investors use this indicator for reversion place. Basically, when it gets very high, they look for the stock to come down and when it gets very low, they look for the stock to bounce. Keep in mind. No technical indicator is ever going to be perfect, but it is one tool and it's pretty common tool that you can use to help improve your own risk to reward management and improve your overall trades.

Now, let's see what's going on with tilray. After all, the excitement till ray which trades on the ticker t-l-r-y is now trading at 29, and today it managed to gain almost eight percent. It has now thus far in 2021, gained a very impressive, 2153 253. So just keep that in mind.

I know recently there has been a big sell-off, but in the world of the stock market. This is an amazing gain thus far on the year. So at this run up at its peak it hit almost 77 and since then, and sold off a bit, let's zoom, in to get a better idea of what price levels we should care about. Today, it managed to bounce off of this support at 27 and pretty much 50 cents uh it bounced there multiple times before.

So if this can hold the next big test is going to come off at 30 60 and if the bulls win that fight we'll be then looking for 34-26. Unfortunately, on the other hand, if the bull camp can't hold this line at 27.63, the next technical support of importance will come just below 24. right now, if we take a look at the rsi, it's pretty much neutral. The rsi has values of 0 to 100.

It's pretty much at 50, so that's neutral! It's not really telling us much, but i do like how once it got over extended in this oversold territory, the bulls did step back in and they're buying it up. I think right now these stocks are falling a little bit out of the news cycle, so i think when there's any updates on tilray merging with afria or anything like that, the new excitement could push these stocks higher. But in the meantime, it's pretty much trading sideways and these are the main price levels i'll be watching. Now, speaking of aphro, a little bit different, similar chart look but different price levels.

It's currently trading just below above 20 in the year 2021 up in 2021. It's still up a very impressive 192 percent. After hitting 32.25, it's also been selling off, but relative to tilray, it's been showing a bit more strength. You can definitely see that in the rsi today it was rejected at the previous support, which turned into resistance.

This phenomena of support becoming resistance and resistance coming support is very, very common in the world of stock trading, but anyway we're first watching 20 and 50 cents. If you can get above that, we're then looking at the mid-21s and from there 20 the mid-22s um. If the bulls cannot recapture this line, we'll be checking out today's low of 19 and more of a recharge, even though i really don't think it's that possible is uh 1720.. Of course it is possible.

I guess i should say i don't think it's that likely, but these are the main price levels i will be watching next week now we have the fan favorite sndl uh during all that craziness with tilray and afria sndl actually hit a very nice high of 86 Cents i mean almost hit five dollars. This one has a very different technical setup. Sndl is currently trading at a dollar fifty three, thus far in 2021, it's gained 223 percent, but what's different about it today is it almost had a technical breakdown at a dollar 33, but the boot camp stepped in and bought it back up, and now it's just Kind of trading sideways at that key psychological level of a dollar fifty which i like, but the main test, is going to come at 125.. Today it was rejected a bit early, which i didn't like so for the upcoming week, the make or break it point will come at a dollar, 75 and or a dollar 33..

If we go up below a dollar 33, i will then be watching the region between a dollar and a dollar lemon. But if the bulls can push it above 1.75, we're then most likely gon na be setting up for a test of two dollars now. Finally, last but not least, let's take a look at cgc canopy growth company, it's currently trading at 38.63. It's up less actually out of all these.

This is up the least on the year. It's up 57. It came off of this high of 56.48. Since then, it's been selling off it tried to get above.

This support then turn resistance at 39, but today couldn't manage to hold that. So if the bulls come back fighting, i will then be looking for a test of 42, but if this does mark an official like fake out breakout i'll, be then looking for support to be found at 36.. Once again, these are just the price levels. I'm watching on tilray afria sndl cgc when the market opens up next week and most likely for the remainder of the week, but to clarify my stance on the long term.

I'm definitely bullish on it. Definitely with this new blue wave in politics, i think the chance of federal legalization are pretty high granted. It might take some time for all this to play out, but the way these stocks will mainly be working is when there's any news of like hey we're gon na. We are gon na push for it or if there's any um states legalizing anything like that.

These stocks will bounce first and it doesn't really much matter of like how long it's gon na take. These stocks will mainly be moving on that nice bullish, positive news. So that's what i'll be looking for in the main uh. The main thing for the four of these, i would love to know your thoughts on these cannabis based stocks.
