Uh good, so so my gang hello, hello, hello, coming back at you through the interwebs to talk about the numbers and the colors and the lines on our charts to see how much of it of our lives it really really runs. So should be an exciting one. Folks we're getting in the christmas spirit, i know i know i know i know i had that whole thing about like a big surprise for you on uh on friday, and i was like oh it's gon na be coming out sunday and you see it this is It the fact that i was able to put green above my head and read below my head to get a little bit of that holiday spirit. That was it that was the big reveal.
There is totally 100 nothing else you should be looking for at all today. In the coming days, trust me if there's one person on this planet who knows what's going on at matt, coors inc, llc corporation business, it's it's me and i'm telling you right now. You heard it from me, 100. The only cool new, exciting thing is the box around my face right now there is 100, nothing else.
You should be mentally emotionally or physically. Preparing for trust. Me trust. Me trust me, that's it! That's it! That's it! That's it nothing else.
No! Nothing! There's! There's 100! Nothing else you should be preparing yourself for like at all truck. That's that's why i just switched the voice over because there's nothing, there's nothing, there's nothing! There's nothing! All right! Folks, let's get back on. Let's get back on the ball today. It is monday december 13th.
Friday was an interesting day. It didn't really feel the best, but it was actually the s highest close of the entire year and in terms of new record closes, it was the 67th one and i'm referring to the s p 500, because if you're using the dow well, that's just silly well Anyway, the 67th highest close of the year two more to go folks. It is december 13th. We have until the end of the year about a half month left.
I know, there's some holidays in there. So that's what we're looking at about two more record high closes, and then we can. We could call it an early close to the year once we hit 69. I think we are both gon na be all of us both when i say both.
I remember i'm referring to me my split personality, basically youtube matt and then also matt, that's quiet and introverted, and just watches tv by himself. Um we're all going to be happy me other me, and all of you we're going to be super happy when we get to that 69 number. But it's actually there's some crazy things going on apple today and i'm going to get into more details about this. But uh about to be wall, street's, first, three trillion with a t three trillion dollars.
The only thing that's more valuable than three trillion dollars and trust me, you can check on reddit, you can check on twitter is actually the amount of super chats i've received this year. Um. It basically goes the people who controlled all the finances of like medieval times. Egypt all that good stuff, all the people that had all that gold mass amount of super chats and then apple, uh, fascinating, stuff, coming in fascinating, fascinating and with all that, let's actually kick this off. Let me get you a little bit prepared up for the day, as you can see all the tabs on the top. We do have quite a few things to go into so right off the bat a little bit of a mixed bag, oil, the 10-year and the dow, all a little bit red, but the s p, 500 and the nasdaq in the green. So a little bit of a mixed bag off the bat, but here's what i really need to know about stock futures are ready after s, p, 500 record close on friday and that's exactly what it was. So let me give you a little sneak peek there.
This is just the s p, 500, so the future is technically closed like an hour afterwards. But actually, if you look at friday's close, it was the best close we've had thus far and today we're gapping up above it pretty nice on the nasdaq. Not a record closed, but we're still within striking distance of 400. I want to see that breakout and stop me if you've heard this tune before, but the russell is lagging behind a little bit.
I mean obviously the s p 500 and the q's are really holding up and the s p 500. Most of the gains of this are attributed to companies such as apple and microsoft and tesla and amazon. It's like kind of these top ones that are actually pushing the entire market higher and higher you're, not seeing every company being equally successful, which is kind of a weird scenario, but you do commonly see that type of stuff. So a couple things i need to give you an update of what's going on and we're going to get into a little bit more of the fed.
But obviously we got to talk about rona just because it clearly has a big impact on the market. If you think in any sense that this is my commentary politically or scientifically on what is right or what isn't right, folks, what it took me 72 hours to put a green box above my head in a red box below my head, i am not the person Who you should be coming to for any biological commentary? Any political commentary, i'm the one just saying: hey, here's what's going on, because i think it could impact the overall market. So please just double check who you're getting your information from, but overall some updates across the pond. We'll start with you guys over there in britain uh, the prime minister, boris johnson, confirmed monday that at least one patient infected with the unicorn variant died in the uk.
Um, obviously, that's very very unfortunate with it. We do have some positive news, that from pfizer's own study, and also an independent study done in israel that they're finding that a third shot, pfizer's third shot, that booster shot is very, very effective at kind of dampening down. Any serious reactions to the illness um for whatever reason the data's saying that there's a considerable jump from shot number two to shot number three about its effectiveness. The efficacy in battling serious illness related to any unicorns, whether it's a rhona strain or something from narnia, but they are strongly finding that a third shot, the battle against unicorns they, the unicorns, were ready for two, not ready for three, so we're finding some positivity out Of that, in more specificity here in the u.s in new york, the governor just decided. I was actually in new york myself this past weekend. I saw a wicked and i don't want to go off on a tangent here. Uh but glenn is a bit of a bitch anyway, like i said, i don't want to go off on a tangent. It was actually my first broadway show that was pretty cool.
Those people are super super impressive, but anyway yeah. If you don't know about it, i don't want to give anything away, but uh yeah anything about the wizard of oz and the wicked witch um. Basically, the wicked witch was super, misunderstood and glinda's a bitch, that's my takeaway from that show. But anyway, if you're in new york - and they are not requiring proof of vaccination, there's a new mandate that you have to have masks on top of that new york and kind of the us we're seeing a lot of companies continue to push back their return to Office, i'm sure many of you right now are potentially in that situation, where you thought you were going back into the office.
I don't know a year ago and it seems like it's continually getting pushed out and out and out. There's probably a lot of you who watch me now because you're working from home and you're skipping all your morning, meetings or your afternoon meetings you're, like whatever i don't have to go into the office, so we're seeing that, especially within leaning tech companies, they're all continuing To push back back back um, so a little bit of your like roan update um a bit of a more sad morbid update, uh kovades in the u.s near 800, 000, as unicorn risk is being watched with that we're seeing more and more people um very depending On the country that you're in getting approved for the booster shot, so, for example, boris johnson is actually about to make it. So, if you're an adult in general by the end of this year, it's expected that you'll be approved to get the booster shot. So we're seeing some updates there, obviously there's some like morbid facts.
People are losing their life um. So, for me on more of a moral human ape level, you just hope i mean i wish this thing was taken care like back when remember when life was simple, and it was just like that whole two weeks to flatten the curve. Does anyone daydream about that? Like imagine if that was it, if, like all of us like just that two weeks, that's all like we remember of like oh remember those two weeks we stayed inside and like whatever that flu disappeared. Ah man, a boy can dream a boy.
Can dream fed's possible faster taper inflation top week ahead for investors um there's again, this is interesting, so this is the last fed meeting of the year. It starts tomorrow. It's a two day thing. It concludes on wednesday and then at wednesday. The e some of the information comes out at two and then pal speaks at 2. 30. so starts tomorrow ends wednesday, so basically be paying attention for december 15th and there's two hot questions: hot hot questions, hot potty questions. First, one is: are they going to increase the velocity of their tapering right now? It started at they were doing bond purchasing of 120 billion a month, and the tapering was chopping off 15 billion per month, which would end it in mid-2022.
Then they're like whoa, problematic here that we have a four decade high level of inflation. We might want to battle that and like oh yeah, like let's crack open the book and see how we're supposed to battle it and then they're like oh, it looks like putting this insane amount of money into the system is causing it and they're. Like no shit, we should probably stop doing that if we want to battle inflation and they're like oh, we could do that. So that was the question of okay.
Let's increase it um, as in terms of their tapering, so they're chopping off 15 billion a month, they're like well. Let's look at 30., so that's kind of what they're playing around with for this month. They started in november at 15. They might be chopping off 30 and that's a big question: are they going to increase tapering? Are they going to increase it anymore? What's the expectation for them to actually be done with tapering, a lot of people may be looking at the april-ish big-ish capital-ish right there, time frame in 2022 opposed to june.
So looking up the speed up there and then the other important question number dose there is all about the interest rate hikes. So there are various tools at the disposal of the federal reserve to battle inflation or, if you're not too, worried about inflation. If you want to help the job market, as in the unemployment help with that, they have various tools um, when the insanity of all this started to occur, the federal reserve, really, along with the government, hit the u.s with one of the most insane policies of unlimited Quantitative easing also referred to as qe, and this was basically make interest rates, nothing and start putting money into the system, and the entire goal is to help with unemployment and a byproduct of it was pushing the market higher and higher and higher because they were buying. All these bonds, essentially backstopping all these companies and also the big ones such as boeing.
We all know that the government's not going to let them fail. That would be insane. Why would they ever let them fail? They bailed them out in less shitty situations. Of course they would bail him out now.
It didn't really come to that this particular scenario. So it was more of that two-pronged attack of let's lower interest rates uh. So it's very easy to get money and then, on top of that, let's put more and more money into the system. That is a recipe for inflation. It might really help with unemployment. But it's a perfect recipe to cook up some inflation: some spicy inflation, some very hot spicy inflation, we're now on the back side of that after you already ate that hot chip on stream, because the internet will lead you into it publicly, it's fun at first, but A couple hours later, maybe a day later, you're gon na have your own problems to worry about so you're catching the drift of where i'm at that's, where the fed's at right now the fed. It was trying to be that cool kid. The fed's, like hey guys, like my stream, i'm gon na, do something absurd.
That involves my own digestional pain for your entertainment. Please give me a like, please give me a sub. The federal reserve is nothing more than a streamer. Well, when you do that type of stuff, some people are going to like you at first, it's funny, it's a unique piece of content, but don't forget later they're gon na have to go to the bathroom themselves and right now, mr powell, he is waddling and he's Very waddling very, very quickly to the nearest bathroom, so we're gon na have to see how this all this all plays out.
I at first earlier this year. The discussion was around the fact that they're not they're like ah no like we might not even raise interest rates, maybe at the end of 2022 and then the conversation's, like oh they're, definitely going to do one interest rate hike and now the conversation is okay. You might do one: are you actually going to do two so um the timeline of how severe inflation is, and the timeline is very much speeding up of them trying to battle inflation, so i mean a couple months ago: half a year ago i was like yeah Are we even gon na get one in 2022, and now the odds of two interest rate hikes are increasing dramatically and overall. This is very, very important.
Pay attention to it. We're going to learn more on wednesday it'll impact yields, interest rates, the overall market uh. All this stuff is incredibly incredibly important to know what is and isn't going on uh once again you're going to be getting that update on wednesday from the horse's mouth, with all this buying bonds, pushing the market higher and higher. Well, we're about to see our first 3 trillion dollar company and i'm talking about apple.
So to get to that point, we have to get 182 86 per share. So if we quickly check in on apple, it was actually very close to it in pre-market. We are at 181.46 once again that number just for everyone is 182.86, so right here in the bottom right, we have apple uh, 182.86 and we're gon na have our first three trillion dollar company very, very exciting apple for quite a while has been the top dog In the world of stocks at one point this year, microsoft did pass it, but then apple, re-passed, it and uh. It seems like today tomorrow we might be seeing our first wow, that's pretty cool. I remember making videos this time. Last year of talking about apple crossing. Two trillion dollars and people were like wow. Imagine when it cost is three trillion like yeah, we're all going to be like a decade older, but that'll be so cool and really all you had to do is fast forward one year and we're already at three trillion.
Um wild stuff and a little bit of an update from the world of vv motor trend names, all-electric, riving, r1t truck of the year, so that guy truck of the year lucid previously also got and a similar accolade from motor trend. So rivie lucid two of the newer players in the world of us evening, companies winning some awards um. If you've listened to me for any amount of time. You know i'm very, very bullish on the ev sector in terms of a longer term hold and it's kind of cool that we're getting more and more competition within the us uh right now i mean i do think that rivian's overvalued, i mean you can't be trading At pretty much a billion dollars per vehicle delivered uh, but i think one of these days they will fairly grow into that evaluation.
More some, like very specific news to you just in case you missed it over the weekend blue origin launch with michael strahan caps record year for human space flight. I believe that this was the 13th space travel mission of the year. There's michael straham, so we're just seeing i guess, like a continuation, a continuation of rich people going to space and michael strahan's the most recent one to join with that uh. Now we could talk about rich people who are no longer rich people, elizabeth holmes of theranos, her defense rested, and the closing arguments will be thursday of this week.
So, following the federal meeting on wednesday on thursday, we're going to get very, very close to the end of the elizabeth holmes, theranos uh, it's a crazy story, crazy court case uh. Everything involving this is like more insane than the previous factoid a little bit more of a positive note. Tiger wants to play in pnc championship golf tournament next week with his son um. This is cool.
This is his first like real appearance after 10 months ago. He was in that pretty brutal car accident, so even the fact that he is physically well enough and it's i find it cool that he's playing golf, but not only just playing golf but playing it with his son. I think that's very cool. So that's later this week, uh for all my racers out there max verstappen stuns lewis hamilton to win formula win championship in controversial finish.
So this is his first world championship. So if you're a fred, a fan of the red bull team, if you're a fan of max congrats, congrats congrats, unfortunately i was not able to watch it live. But i really really like on netflix. They have this series that kind of recaps the entire like formula. One season um, so i'm excited to kind of hear the people that like are in it, like the pits and all that you get to hear their audio and what they're saying and hear it play out in real time. A very very cool series that you can find on netflix, so i'm particularly interested to see how this season all played out. So those are just some things that maybe you missed it over the weekend. Just some interesting breaking news.
But now, let's talk a little bit more specifically about amc and gme, so today, starting at 1pm, that's the time you need to remember. This is a tweet from the ceo of amc, adam aaron, you ask you get. It is time for amc, theater's. Third, ever nft we have secured 20 matrix nfts from nifties and warner bros.
We will be given away at amc social channels starting monday 1pm. The matrix resurrections opens december 22nd, so once again, 1 pm today in a couple hours pay attention to that, especially if you want this nft, it's going to relate to the matrix that movie's dropping pretty soon it's supposed to do very, very well! So that's some exciting stuff. I really like that. Adam aaron is being uh very serious about this.
I guess jump into the world of nfts no longer seems to be like uh. A toe into the pool situation seems to be like a full out belly flop. So definitely a fan of that, and for this week this friday, uh spider-man no way home is coming out and based on the like. I guess, precursors, those types of indicators of just like ticket sales and, what's going on it, looks like this movie.
Most likely will be the most successful movie of the entire year, so that is coming out friday once again, spider-man no way home um another just obviously related to amc related to the world of nfts, just related to box office uh. I myself, i'm i'm very excited for this movie, so you have this movie and then the week after you're gon na end up having the matrix movie. So, in terms of the box office, amc looks like we're closing out the year the month on a very, very strong note, so just wanted to bring that to your attention because it sounds like this weekend and the start of next week. We're definitely going to have some reports.
I mean you can like quote me now, but it feels like we're going to hey new box office record. Those aren't going to be all the titles. It appears when spider-man comes out this weekend, a little bit of an update related to gamestop shiba inu, now accepted at gamestop, lowe's and nordstrom via gemini backed flexa. Obviously this i like this not only for she, but also for gamestop.
We know gamestop uh, even more. Accepting of what's going on in the world of crypto, i'm fingers crossed for the success of everything to do with their nft platform. Uh. These things are clearly gon na take time, but in general this is also a nice nod, toshiba right here, uh more and more companies accepting it as a payment, gemini-backed flexa. So i think that's a cool update. I just wanted to share with all of you, but also a different update related specifically to shiva, not really amc or jimmy. It is gearing up to launch its first multi-platform game. Official announcement, playside and chevy e new games signed a strategic work for higher contract.
The strategic agreement with sheba is a fixed price, milestone, based agreement to develop a multi-player collectible card game which is planned to be released on multiple platforms. So it sounds like they're coming out with a card game. I think that's pretty cool. You could check it out from their official twitter just wanted to share all of that with you.
We have a couple minutes so very quickly. Just so you know amc's uh. Let me just make sure this is the most up-to-date, because sometimes you see some action monday mornings, the estimated short inches right now on amc is 18.7 and the estimated short interest on gme is 13.3. Both of these over the past week and a half two weeks has been slowly creeping up, uh just so.
Everyone knows in terms of the overall market, like i said, we are pretty high right now looks like pre-markets coming down a little bit, but let's see how all these things really pan out we're going to wait. Those first 15, 20 30 minutes just to see how people are taking advantage of this nice bullish strength, the q's in a similar scenario. Looking for that breakout above 400, the russell really need this to catch itself, and i would love for it to swing back around 223 and get an official test of this. Top trend line would love to see the gap bill of 22 50 and once again, that's for the russell.
So we have amc up here. Jimmy jimmy had a very strong close on friday and then holding pretty solid at amc. Similar had a solid close, not as solid or dramatic as gme's, but still people were buying it into clothes, as we were watching all those ape videos right now we're at 27 30 gm is at 160.. Apple is just up up and away and, as you can see, the s p 500 was pretty strong, but kind of giving back.
Some of those pre-market gains so should be a pretty interesting, i'm particularly excited for today this week, uh, we are seeing. Definitely some of this whole the entire concept of the santa rally, the christmas rally. Uh seasonally there's a lot of strength from this very moment until pretty much the first week of january, inclusive of the first week of january, so excited to see how this all plays out in terms of crypto flat flat flat uh 48 000 ethereum trading. Just below 4 000 solana, 161 taking definitely breather avalanche at 81., we're seeing slight bearishness across crypto, but mainly flat and boring um kind of sideways.
So this is natural you're going to see this in the futures market, the stocks option the stock market and then even the crypto market. You have these periods of expansion where everything is exciting high volatility and then you can have periods of consolidation with this consolidation um. Some of it, i think, is like yeah, there's been high volatility and things need to cool off, but on top of that, i think we're waiting uh in terms of i guess at least the u.s for more updates of what in the world is going on in The world of crypto regulation, speaking of crypto regulation and stock market regulation, i posted a new interview with professor j.w verrit who's, the definition of a legal expert, who's very much involved in the world of market structure, politics and all that that was posted on saturday. It's about a 55-minute interview and that's what we talk about payment for order, flow market makers, crypto regulation, the sec finro lobbyist, all that stuff. So previously we've talked about market structure, the specifics of that with people like dave, lauer we've talked about the sec with people like lisa branganza we've talked about short sellers with people such as mark cohodas. This time more of the legal perspective of what's going on and kind of like how politics are so intimately intertwined with all that, and once again that is with professor jw. Very it was it's on the main youtube channel that was posted on saturday, so feel free to check that out and with that being said, uh the bell is gon na go ding, ding, ding and, in the meantime, i'll start answering some of your questions for you. Uh tangents are for tuesday matt shout out andrew.
Did you hear about darpa and nasa accidentally creating a warp drive engine, not sure if it's true, but it's going viral right now. I did not hear that, but i'll write that down brando. That sounds crazy, uh darpan and nasa darpa nasa warp drive. Let me write that down and check that out all right very quickly.
I have 30 seconds before the bell goes: ding ding, ding, ding, ding um another. I guess announcement i feel, like my show, is just all these weird announcements: uh, but, starting today we have been working hard in the back end to get something going, that is more crypto focused and the entire concept is really to get running with the new year. But right now it's kind of the the soft unveiling the soft grand opening of it. So, starting today we will have an entirely new crypto show.
Will that impact anything about the stock show the morning show the afternoon show absolutely not. We just figured with our schedules and the time and the crew and everyone that's been helping. We have the time to do an entire additional crypto show that will start today. 2 p.m.
Eastern, it's going to be about a half hour show and we are going to run it daily and it's going to be all about the world of crypto. If you want crypto interviews, we'll give you crypto interviews, if you want breaking news, we'll do breaking news. If you want to just do a teaching session of like what is staking, how do you get a wallet? What's a hot wallet? What's a cold wallet, this will be exclusively cryptocentric. It starts today, 2 p.m. Eastern uh! We just want to work all the kinks out of it kind of get it into a spot that we really really like just so. We can hit the ground running at the new year start in january, so we're going to use about the next two to three weeks as kind of a trial period, to see what we like to see. What you like to see really what you want and what resonates with you uh, but that will be starting today, 2 p.m. A very well relative to these shows it's going to be a bit of a quicker show: ding ding ding.
The casino is open. Let's get rocking, let's get rocking. I say this at least once a morning stream, but i very much think it is beneficial to wait those first 15, 20 30 minutes, especially on a monday after you all have the pent-up volatility from over the weekend. Just to see see how things will or won't be positioned, hey man.
I have a 320 call on nvidia, expiring friday costs 7.03. Can you tell me what i need to happen by when i go green? Can you tell me what i need to happen by when to go green, so you're gon na have a break even price that will be shown to you, which your break-even price will be 327.03, but remember that really comes into play on the day of expiration. So, for example, if nvidia were to run to 315 today, there's a good chance based on various factors relating to your extrinsic value, that you would actually be in profit right now, nvidia's trading at 300 on friday, uh when it broke below 305. I looked as that.
As kind of like a bearish development, i was not the biggest fan of the fact that it couldn't hold that key support um. So what you're? Looking for right now in the short term, is for the bulls to step in and very quickly get it back above 300, especially 300, and even nicer would be above 305 uh. But for you remember, breakeven price comes into play of, are you profitable or not? On the day of expiration, that's like very specific there. You need to know that beforehand, uh you're going to have options.
You have intrinsic value and extrinsic value. Your intrinsic value is going to be relating to your strike price and the difference of the strike price and the current price of the equity extrinsic value is your volatility, your time till expiration, it's all the other stuff that gives an option value beyond. What's going on with the underlying asset and it's very much a sliding gradient, extrinsic value is a lot and it can be considerable. The farther away from expiration.
You are, as you get closer and closer to expiration you're, going to lose quite a bit of that extrinsic value, and it's just going to be priced more so on your intrinsic, which, once again, when you hear intrinsic value and options, just think of the price of The stock and relative to your strike price, hey matt. I sent you a dm on twitter in reference to the potential imposter selling matrix nfts with picks he has your socials on his nifty's profile. What the fuck! Oh chris! I appreciate you sharing that with me. So let me say this publicly um. I am not dming anyone ever about nfts. I do have nfts, i'm definitely not. I don't have any matrix nfts, i'm not selling matrix nfts. If you see anyone using my socials attempting to hawk nfts.
No, that that's not me. If you want to see all my nfts they're right here, let me just log in: why can i not log it's not hang on i'm having an issue on openc, but i do not have any matrix nfts and i'm not selling any nfts just so everyone knows So this world of crypto uh nfts, these uh, just the coins and tokens themselves, these dow protocols - all these things, it's exciting, there's so much opportunity to learn to make a lot of money. But whenever you have things like that, there are going to be people who take advantage of it so make sure you're double checking triple checking what is or isn't legitimate and if you haven't, maybe you shouldn't be putting like your hard-earned money at risk. In those scenarios.
Shout out chris brian brand-new andrew, and actually there was one before it, but for some reason it's not letting me see the name here, whoever sent in the first one shout out to whoever dropped that first super chat of the day. All right! Well, let's see, are we kind of basing right now, let's see if the spy and the q's are gon na end up bouncing back around amc got knocked sub 27 gme. Where do we have support on jimmy man jimmy you want above this trend line, you want it to get back above 170.. This has just been getting really really hit ever since right before thanksgiving uh man november 23rd.
Until now it's been pretty much just selling selling selling uh the buyers aren't stepping up at the that's. What it is i mean you have buying demand you have selling you have buying aggression, you have selling aggression when one outweighs the other, that's where the price goes. If sellers are more aggressive than buyers, price goes down, if buyers are more aggressive than sellers price goes up. Yes, we could obviously get into the nuances of.
Is that aggression being accurately shown well that's into the world of okay? Is the supply being delu or bloated by potentially fictitious shares, like that's a whole different conversation, but at its like most inherent inherent basic axiom level, it's buying aggression versus selling aggressive, who is more aggressive, whoever is more aggressive. It goes in that manner, you're having some fan noise or something on your mic fan noise or something on my mic um. Are you guys getting like weird feedback or something on the mic? Uh? I don't think i mess with any of the the settings. Let me know if anyone else is hearing like weird mic noises uh lucid, joined the nasdaq 100 yeah loosens being crushing it so what's kind of interesting about that is when you go into the nasdaq 100. There are many portfolio managers who run funds that are tracking the s: p, 500, the nasdaq 100, the russell 2000. So, whether it's like a family office or something like that, just you have all these portfolio managers who run their own. I don't know little twist on major indices and when you get put into something like the nasdaq 100, the s p 500 - that represents quite a bit of buying for people who want to be properly tracking, whatever said index so for lucid and we've seen this previously. With tesla, when it was put into the s p 500, that i would expect a similar bullish reaction, it's currently up 3.8 on the day, so people are going to be buying it.
It's not like a particular date. I mean there is going to be a date when it's officially in the nasdaq 100, so in anticipation of that date, you're going to have people who are running various funds tracking the nasdaq 100, who are going to start like jockeying for a position and do what They need to do to be properly tracking it so bullish development for sure shout out. Brambles matt thoughts until ray have a position at 1180 average down or give up all hope and go back to bed. You are the best happy monday, hey you're, the best so tilray the marinara industry in general has been getting hit.
It's been brutal and with it the marinara industry, it's a tough one to play because we're sitting around waiting for federal legalization, it's not a technical play. It's not a fundamental play, it's a political play. I do like that it finally gap-filled from this craziness in january, it's been getting really really beat up the way i view things such as tilray or canopy growth company. Those are ones that you get it.
Ideally, the cheaper the price, the better and then you just wait and wait and wait like i said it's not a technical play. As of now not really a fundamental play, it's a political play. We just have to wait and wait and wait until the federal government stops dragging its feet on it and we just need federal legalization and then i'm expecting all those companies, especially the dominant ones, for example, canopy growth company until ray are the two biggest ones. I feel more comfortable with betting on the bigger ones, just because i know they have a longer runway and they could withstand the federal government being as slow as the federal government is some of the smaller ones, especially the ones that are currently in considerable debt and Have a non-advantageous cash burn relative to how much money they have and their cash flow? I question those ones because obviously the shorter the runway, the more problematic it is when you're trying to figure out will it survive to the point of federal legalization. So i feel most comfortable in the two biggest ones: tilray canopy growth company. I know a lot of people probably listening right now. Are fans of companies such as sndl? If sndo can survive to the point of federal legalization, i think it'll do well, but at that i mean your guess is as good as mine, because i have no particular political insights of when we'll see any movement there. If it goes to one other, shorts will buy uh i mean it depends on the stock.
I think some of these times with that, sometimes it's easier to track the overall indices through something such as an exchange certain fund in the etf, so mj mj, such as mary jane, will track the entire sector. Uh, you don't have that's not an individual company. You can look up what the composition of mj to see its exposure to individual companies, but sometimes with that when i don't want to bet on an individual company, but i like the sector, i think an etf is a very, very good option. Um for a lot of these bets so that one in particular, if you don't really feel like you, want to pick a company that will or won't win, but you, like the sector uh check that out there are various other ones.
I just know. Mj is probably the most popular, so basically amc is our play. Uh i mean amc is a great play. I don't think it should be exclusively your play.
Uh the longer and longer you're in the market, you're gon na realize going all in on an individual thing. Uh, it's just super super high risk high reward. So if that's what you want have at it, but i really through - i guess my stocks and stuff - i keep that pretty basic and i'm open about the ones i'm in uh. Obviously, i'm still in amc and gme.
I'm in apple i'm in microsoft, i'm in the ev sector between companies such as like, lucid and tesla, i'm a fan of what's going on in the gambling sector. I think draftkings and penn national gaming are crazy, cheap right now, uh. I, like semiconductors nvidia amd uh cloud computing companies. I already said microsoft, but another one would be amazon.
Some data, analytic companies, snowflake palantir, i think in the long term those will be successful. They're kind of getting beat up right now, though, trying to think of some other strong east sports plays so logitech makes mice and keyboards i'm. Actually, i think i'm using some myself is this logitech. I think i'm either logitech or not corsair, i'm trying to figure out the brands.
Why doesn't it say i don't know so for the gamers out there, my current mouse and keyboard. It looks like a triangle with like three snakes, so whatever brand that is uh it's like kind of a triangle thingy this way triangle thingy and it looks like it's like a triangle, but with three snakes. So whatever brand, that is that's the brand i have um. I'm a big fan of esports, so i like the hardware place and then you also have other ones: uh razer, razer, razer razor. I appreciate you shout out um. I love them. They're awesome! I, like my keyboard. I have a mechanical keyboard.
The mouse is awesome, so i'm a fan of these hardware plays a little bit more upstream and then also actual companies like take two interactive uh ttwo uh. I love exposure to esports is just growing like an insane person and say as if insane people grow more rapidly than non-insane people. It's growing at an insane rate, and i think it's a good five ten fifteen year bet for sure there's certain industries that i feel absurdly confident confident in holding for the remainder of the decade. Esports is one eevee is another cloud computing and data analytics would be a third and i'm still confident, but not as much as the first three.
Just because i don't have those political insights. But then marinara industry is another like overall sector that for this decade, uh very, very bullish on, and i guess in terms of sectors and asset classes, i'd put crypto as one i mean a lot of cryptos are going to do well, there's also going to be Cryptos that fail, but in the most generic sense from now from december 13th, 2021 to december 31st, 2029 uh, definitely gon na be bullish on crypto great interview with verit. This chat is my initial contribution to nominee mk the future retail chair of finra's regulatory oversight committee. What's going on mike, imagine that imagine finra they're, like hey like we need one retail trader to be like represented on this community.
Imagine me just like kicking in the door with like a santa ape shirt, i'm like what's up what's up duties, let's talk about some markets and stuff um, it would be problematic. I don't do the best in corporate settings and then, when you get into like literal regulation, setting like you're going to have, i mean i'm assuming that market makers are a part of it like. I would be sitting there with like ken griffin and sifu and they're gon na be in their nice, like tailored italian suits and i'm gon na, be there in the the freshest moon gang swag and then we're just gon na get into arguments. And it would never, it would never end well for them.
They would, i would say something they would disagree with me. Then. Would everyone in the committee would look at me and be like? What's this kid gon na retort, and then i would say, i'm rubber you're glue, whatever you say, bounces off of me and sticks to you and then ken griffin's gon na, like cover his mic and he's gon na he's gon na look at his attorneys he's gon Na be like, can he fucking say that is that legal i'll be like dude, i'm rubber, you're glue sucks to be you ken. I like it mike the more now that we're articulating this and like really getting it out there.
I like this. I think this could work short-term thoughts on amc need help explaining my hotel to my paper-handed wife, who cares who's scared of the drop from 50s to the 20s. So my short-term view is, i think the bears are running out of steam. So obviously, we've had quite a bit of a sell-off that same period of also like gme. It's been getting hit and hit and hit and at a certain point, there's not an infinite amount out there as in selling ability or buying ability. So when you get moves like this, they do have natural conclusions. You don't keep moving like that and now that you see the macd actually getting, i guess shorter. Obviously, we really had the over extension here on december 3rd.
The fact that we're coming down tells me that the technicals are hopefully fingers crossed, i'm not clairvoyant, but i'm hoping things are calming down, i'm hoping that we just double like bounce off of 25 26 and we find some buyers. I guess i should say from a fundamental standpoint. I think the media uh recently has been kind of bashing it with the fact that the ceo and the cfo have been selling some shares uh. So that's kind of like a bash cycle that amc has just gone through, but hopefully it goes into a positive media cycle with the success of spider-man no way home and then on top of that matrix.
So i'm hoping they both do well in the box office. Just so we get it's not really a fundamental thing, but more of just like a new thing on people like we, we need some positive headlines, some positive articles um, so i'm hoping that both of those do extremely well in the box office so well that media Has nothing like no option but to report the clear truth of hey these movies, just crushed it um with it uh i get it. Money is emotional. I mean with it.
This drop for me, like i've. I've shown some of this stuff on twitter of how much from the highs to now how much i'm personally down on it. No, this it's sickening, but with it i think, amc and jimmy are my honestly, my easiest trade to the point that, like folks, we don't really need to watch these because, like if you know you're not doing anything, you don't have to do anything like at all. Like you don't have to take on the emotional stress of watching every minute to minute chart um, you could set two alerts.
You can set an alert to the upside of where you're going to get excited and you want to start watching it because you think something crazy could happen and you could set an alert to the downside of whatever your risk is, and some of you might just Be risking zero so, like okay, set an alert at a dollar but other than that, there's only 24 hours in the day, and if you don't need to spend time watching a chart on something that you know like you're, not going to do anything with anyway. Like there's us watching it minute over minute on the chart, doesn't really help too much right now, especially when, like i said you, people find it emotionally uh worrisome and i'm not saying that's wrong because, like your money is at play, but if you're kind of a, If you consider yourself to be a diamond-handed ape and you're in the fight for market transparency and fairness for everyone involved - and you just know you're going to like hodl this - you know you don't have to watch every minute chart i mean there's other movers, there's other Opportunities to make money um, so you can hold on to whatever you feel comfortable holding on to and remember that's all up to you. Uh people have different personalities. They have different financial backgrounds. They have different financial health, only bet what you can actually withstand like base. Your risk on what you can truly withstand losing too many people get starry-eyed and they think hey if it goes here i'll have this much money. If it goes here i'll have this much money and really nowhere in the conversation is hang on. What if we get it wrong in terms of amc and jme, we know there's market manipulation.
We know that brokerages take away the buy button. We know that there's crazy amounts of ftds and they're cycling it. We know these in thing insane things happen. So with all of those insane things to say that this is guaranteed, if anyone in the world tells you that something's guaranteed they're just blowing smoke up your ass, i i'm so sick and tired of it of people telling the internet what they think the internet wants To hear folks right now, amc and jimmy have been beaten up.
It's not fun like i. I don't even understand how people truly sugarcoat it like. How do you come up with the fact that they've been selling off since november 23rd to somehow be a good thing? No, it sucks, but i still believe not only in the companies, i believe in the movement. So i'm not going to do anything.
It's not like enjoyable for me to see how much my p l is down, but i'm also separating it from any other trade. I've ever considered because it's to me it's a community, it's a movement and sometimes we're going to get beat up by media, and we need to fight back it's harder to fight back when you have a bunch of people in the community, acting like straight up asshats And they are spreading lies and they fight and all they care about is drama when you care more about drama, when there's people who have a loud voice or even a percentage, whatever x percentage of our community care more about drama than they do. The actual nuances of market structure and what's going on in the derivatives market, and why people who work at citadel are also aka industry insiders. Why are they also on the fender finra regulation board? There are so many weird things we need to look into and study and better understand them, but then people are like nah i'd rather like argue on rather reddit about something stupid.
I'd rather argue on twitter about something stupid. That's not good! That's not good at all. I think um and people have been iterating this for a while, but the maturity needs to step up a little bit, especially when you truly consider the entity and the organism that we're truly fighting against. Like our our enemy wall street, the. I guess the bad actors within wall street they're not messing around they're, not messing around whatsoever, but with it the way i view it is given enough time. The people who are here for the right reason are gon na stay, and then these people who are here to i guess, prompt drama to who care about their social media they'll go away um, because when you have times like this uh, you very much need true Passion and dedication to get you through the rough points, and i i think, given enough time with rough points like this you're going to have the people who are here for not the best intentions. Slowly but surely kind of like just disappear. They're going to like just kind of all of a sudden you're, like oh, like i haven't, heard from person xyz in a little bit and then you're going to realize that they're kind of slowly just disappearing because they're not actually interested in it um.
So andrews uh to explain that to your wife, i would say: no it me you don't want to like trick yourself. You need to be realistic. Both of these have been beat up for about three weeks. Some of the technicals are showing signs.
We have relative to gme. Obviously we know they're always progressing on the nft marketplace. We have some fun little announcements with sheba like that's cool could get some people reinvigorated, with amc you're, hoping that soon, because right now, it's getting hit pretty hard uh, it's at 24.50 you're, hoping that some of these updates related to spider-man like could really help things Out so patience, patience, patience, uh, you think it's a good time to buy long. Day-To-Day amc calls considering june.
At the moment, uh i mean that's up to you for me personally, i don't think it is just because, like i'm not seeing buyers yet, i want to see the first signals that buyers are about to step in and then i personally view that as an ideal Time to get amc right now, i'm not seeing buyers, but maybe i'm also not some perfect, like guru options traders, maybe you see things on the chart that you're like nope. This is the extent and maybe you're better at identifying a bottom than i am um. So maybe you're just like quickly taking advantage of that all right, let's bring up some other things, because i see some hey guys. We need some good vibes.
What what's doing well today, let's get some exciting things up on the market, or maybe you guys are just huge bearish bets and your shorts and your puts and you're making money. I don't know: what's falling, maybe you shorted avalanche and you gained that seven percent or how's tesla doing today tesla's down three percent. You know it bounced off of 980, so maybe you're making some money off. Of that remember, you can play the market both ways. There's more ways to make money than just buying a stock and hoping that it goes up. You can hedge, your account with amc. A lot of people are asking me: okay, like you like your shares, but you want to hedge it. Okay, you can sell calls, you can sell, puts you there, there are other mechanisms for you to care about your account and to help your p l rather than buying a stock and then going to twitter and, like then tweeting some silly hashtag like be proactive about It it's your money this.
This is your money. This is your financial life. This is your financial health. I i think you owe it to yourself to dive into it and be like hang on.
There's other people in amc with me, but they're not hurting as much when things go red and when things go green, they're like exponentially more green than i am um, it's a good start to buy a stock like. I think i like that of like okay. It's your first step into the world of the market, but from there. Even if you don't want to trade options, you should still learn about options.
You should still learn about futures. You should learn about crypto. You should understand what it means for amc to be in the russell 2000 for gme to be in that, but then get moved over to the s p. 400 mid cap, there's just so many things you can learn and then, when certain situations present themselves, you can take advantage of those situations and on red days you help your portfolio.
I mean there's people who are agile and quick enough that even on red days, they just like volatility. If it goes up a lot or down a lot, it doesn't matter to them. They take advantage of the volatility and then they're making money, and they only just get bored when things are sideways and things aren't moving. There are so many ways to engage in the market and i hope, through this like and we do, the technical teachings in the the power hour show.
I hope, with that. It helps you like spot some of these opportunities. Uh. Yes, amc is still owned by retail 80 if not more a lot more um.
I actually don't know about that irrelevant. I just don't know the number that 80 number is from june um. I personally haven't heard an updated number since then uh has anyone actually heard it because i know early june we knew that 80 of the float was owned by retail, and that was like the rough number. But since then, we've never gotten a share count.
Yeah so june 2nd, so it could be higher. It could be the exact same, but it could also be lower. I just haven't um, no it. I don't think it came out on november 6th.
Oh wait. Someone said he reconfirmed it on november 6th. I i must have completely missed that one. I must have completely missed that one irrelevant uh.
I would love if you could like dm me somewhere wherever that was reconfirmed, because, like honestly like, i would like to have an updated number. Eighty percent of what three billion shares no um, eighty percent of 513 million 513 million. I personally increased my holdings 300 percent. Since then, i think this november 16th - maybe maybe i'm just maybe so much - has happened - that i'm just simply uh forgetting, isn't it 513, plus 95 million short drake. Yes, that's a very, very good way to think about it. That's that's the number you would want to take the shorts, the registered shorts plus the outstanding shares and whatever. That sum is, let's call it 600 million. If there's any evidence of more than said 600 million.
That's when you know something's going on that should not be going on are meme stocks, red uh, because the overall market is red. It seems that those things have a little bit been more intertwined all right, peloton, trying to bounce back, piton, actually piton's having a kind of a nice day 41. if piton gets above 41 and it's just the next dollar increment. But that would be my next technical target uh.
There might be a nice play right here, piton 41 to 42.. I have no piton right now, but i just wanted to throw that out there. I saw a message of piton on the move last week. Remember we did some tesla tesla tesla tesla hang on.
Let me see how might we i had a tesla put that we announced so we had a winning nvidia trade. Then we got up beat up on nvidia, and now we or i publicly announced i'm just like referring to all these ones, that i've been kind of calling out in real time and right now the tesla one.
I never actually seen shill posts before. It is so glaringly obvious here from any other YouTuber. I knew Matt was a fake person but his voice has even changed. Sound evil as fuck. Good luck, guys, and blow me paid tardbabies.
To the moon? More like to the dumps.
Can someone tell me why this is still a thing? Hahaha
Dancing is a talent π₯Ίππ¦ but not urs πβοΈπ
If AMC drops below 20 the hope for a squeeze is gone. Notice how a majority of youtubers have switched gears and not speak on AMC as much as they did prior.
Good morning Matt from Spokane Valley WA, BFRI looking good today.
Good point!!! Starting early and prioritizing your investment is the best way of getting ahead to financial freedom. Iβm 33 and my goal is to hit a million before eoy so I can retire 2022. Currently averaging over 20% monthly on my stock portfolio so I know I will get there. Time in the market beats anything else

"Man o man" … i feel like Jeice in DBZ when Goku comes to fight Recum and then kicks his ass in a single blow. Man o man!
Itβs another b-e-a-utiful day to lose money as an ape
I'm surprised people still follow you for months lol no way in hell anyone made money off AMC other then short sellers and I'm talking about after ATH in May. If you look at the 1 month chart, it's been bearish since May rofl.
I bet you wish you sold those AMC calls at the high π
Good to see you Matt say hello to your boss Adam Aron
The market is going to be down bcuz if the crap going on in China. Look up Evergrande. This is whatβs hurting us. Recession coming. Be ready.
800k manipulated deaths like AMC's manipulated naked shorts!
I don't understand why people are wasting money and splitting our efforts on GME. It's done, it's been done for a while, the only direction for it to go is down, that's common sense. Sell that money you're giving away and buy some damn AMC.
You clowns haven't realized that meme is done?
Donβt promote that poison Mattβ¦
Why no more amc push from Matt?
