I have a beneficial long position in the shares of AMC & GME either through stock ownership, options, or other derivatives.
So so folks we're here to talk about the old stock market and a little bit of crypto 2 and the market. The equities market, that is, will be opening in just over 30 minutes and we have a fair amount of things to get through. We got to talk about elon we got to talk about. Twitter.
He's apparently has 43 billion cash. We got to talk about veru, we got got ta talk about amc. We got to talk a little bit about gme a little bit about a tyrion. We got ta talk a little bit about everything, including the overall market and when you're talking about the overall market, it makes sense to talk about some of the things happening on the grand scale.
We got to talk a little bit about ukraine, russia, what's europe doing with their bond buying, and then we have a lot of bank earnings. Remember we just started earning season, so we're going to be talking wells, fargo, goldman sachs city and morgan stanley, and then we had some other ones that reported too, as like health insurance, such as like united health group, and also a friendly friendly reminder. This is your public service announcement. The stock market is closed tomorrow, friday april 15th, in observation of good friday.
Just so you know so, if you're a full-time trader, it looks like you're about to have a three-day weekend now before we get into all the good stuff. Shout out to today's stream, sponsor i am talking about ftx in conjunction with blockfolio, make sure you download it it's free to download it's pretty cool. You cannot only get crypto on it. This is a crypto brokerage, a crypto exchange, but you can connect your other ones to see what your overall net worth in crypto is based at on block folio.
Every time you trade over 10 usd you actually get a free coin and then, if you're, using their pro platform, ftxus ftx international super super cheap transaction fees relative to their competitors, uh, so definitely worthwhile to check out. It is pinned to the top of chat. It's in the description, the description of the video excuse me so make sure you're checking that out a very, very cool platform and, if you're at all interested in the crypto stream that happens every day monday to friday at 2 p.m. That, like it seems like every week, we have another story to cover about ftx and how they are expanding.
Their ecosystem is becoming literally one of the biggest so now with all that out of the way, let's hop into some of the fun stuff. So here's a quick little sneak peek about what i want to talk about this morning. Twitter craziness related to elon, offering to buy out the whole company and bring it private viraroo had a great great run over the really the past week. Continuing to look strong, we got to talk a little bit about amc, two of the things that the bow tie: cinemas.
They open seven, there good fundamental update, and then we also have to talk about what i perceive to be as a complete scam. The amc token - and you should be checking out that video - that i posted last night, if you want more of the details and then gme overall, i'm just really talking about that one, because it's nice and green. But before we get into the specifics here, where things are looking in the big picture, the dow slightly green, the s p slightly red the nasdaq slightly red oil. Still, i mean it's coming it's red right now, but that's just because it actually had like kind of a noteworthy push. It's just below 103 dollars a barrel and then yields actually going back up. Cdc extends travel, mass requirement to may 3rd as rona rises. I believe there's a whole new viru variant - that is, i believe, particularly kind of spreading through new york right now, um, so just to keep everyone well aware of, what's going on there, because this is also kind of similar to the whole shanghai situation, but obviously fingers Crossed that this doesn't become anything more serious biden says: new 800 million ukraine package will include helicopters, so obviously the whole ukraine situation, even though it's kind of falling out of the mainstream media's attention still obviously going going going and to the point that that's obviously what The us government is blaming inflation on it's, the putin price hike. It's literally, nothing else.
Don't worry about that nine trillion dollars we put into the economy, it's totally putin. Is it somewhat accurate yeah it is. I mean the this whole debacle is really prompting more supply chain issues and especially in the world of, let's even just say, food. Russia is a big exporter.
Fertilizer, ukraine's a big exporter of wheat. There are clear macro economic impacts, so i'm not saying that there's no like there's some validity to things being worse because of putin without a doubt, but to fully blame it on them. I think that's. A little bit misleading correction ecb confirms end of its bond buying.
In the third quarter, the european central bank confirmed that it will conclude its net asset purchase in the third quarter. The central bank faces the dilemma with inflation hitting a record high of 7.5 percent of march, while the economic growth outlook weakens due to the war in ukraine yeah. It is kind of crazy, like the u.s just stopped buying stuff in march, like not long ago, literally a month ago, um this purchasing from central banks, the u.s fed uh fed reserve. You also have the central bank over in europe.
They i mean, i'm actually surprised. I thought they were done purchasing as well. If you're looking at inflation, the inflation is a record high and they're still purchasing they're, still printing money like like control, copy control, p print on the computer and then they're like oh man. We wish we had this inflation under control.
Now i would say europe's a little bit of a different story: they're still trying to be a little bit accommodative for the market because, for obvious reasons, especially related to russia, a lot of europe takes energy from russia. There's a if you look at germany, huge buyers of not only oil but particularly natural gas. A lot of the countries in europe are getting their crude oil and petroleum-based products from russia. So i think in their mind, they're, like okay, we're a little bit more dependent on this. So we don't want to scare the markets. I see a little bit what's going on there uh, but it's still have you taken the full picture. It's still a very, very crazy situation that what two and a half years later there's still going to be purchasing putting money into the economy when we know we're facing crazy inflation. It's a tough, tough situation for sure.
So now, a little bit more specific to today, thursday april 14th, remember market not open tomorrow. Five things to know before the stock market opens on thursday stock features are little change. On final trading day of the week, major banks, including goldman sachs report, results. We will be getting into all of those uh elon musk offers to buy twitter, obviously we'll be getting into that.
I have all the details: amazon to add five percent fuel and inflation surcharge to seller fees, so amazon feeling a little bit of that energy crunch and then tying it back to the whole russia thing right now: russian warship damage, moscow warns finland and sweden. They also had kind of a a warning to any nato member uh about, like vehicles being used in the ukrainian region, that they're like fair targets, so tension's still high, even though it is falling out of media's um. I guess purview also an interesting article. I read this morning is tick tock's effort in like trying to stamp out false information related to russia and you the ukrainian invasion.
I guess is like they've run the numbers on it and tick. Tock is absolutely like sucking. They are not doing a good job whatsoever. Uh about, like hiding the fake information um, it's very very prevalent, apparently on tick tock.
Now, let's get going into some of these earnings so today, before the market opened wells, fargo, goldman sachs city and morgan stanley and then also united health group. A couple other banks, such as pnc and ally, but i want to get into these four major ones and we'll just go through it in order um, the first three actually pretty good and if you look at them in pre-market trading right now. Last time i checked them they're up just over one percent wells, fargo shares fall as quarterly revenue misses estimates on weaker than expected. Mortgage lending here are the numbers: earnings are 88 cents a share higher than the expected of 80 cents, uh revenue, 17.59 billion versus 17.8.
So that was like kind of their a part of their miss wells. Fargo reported home lending fell 33 year prior, as mortgage rates have climbed. But once again, if we look at wells, fargo wfc, this is the one that is down and then goldman sachs city, morgan stanley, all doing pretty good. So, let's take the pain one out of the equation right now, once again, wells fargo is the one of the major banks that are is down right now in pre-market um, and that is down by about 4.5 percent. On a little bit more of positive notes, goldman sachs tops analyst estimates as trading deaths crushes expectations amid surging volatility. Their revenue was 12.9 billion versus an estimate of 11.8, and they also beat on earnings per share by just under two dollars: goldman sachs, big big bank - that we've all heard of having a good day, and this is actually now continuing to go up. It's up. 1.6.
Another one that did well was citigroup, citigroup, tops earnings, estimates on better than expected training revenue, so similar sentiment from goldman sachs and city of the thing that really helped them in the quarter was trading. Here. Are the numbers uh two dollars versus a dollar 55 expected? So they beat by about 30 there, revenue 19.19 billion versus 18, so beat by a full billy uh, and then, if we quickly check out what's going on with city right now, that is up by 1.26 and last but not least, another one that did pretty well Morgan stanley, earnings top estimates, fueled by trading revenue gains so you're, seeing a pattern here: goldman sachs city morgan, they all beat and they beat to the tune of an extra like billy at least 14.8, this one's 14.6 and then earnings per share. They beat by just over 30 cents about 34 cents, there um, so the ones that were really really you have.
These big bangs and big banks have obviously different pillars, but the one that wasn't doing well is the one that really wasn't able to take advantage of trading i.e. Wells fargo, the other ones who still have similar business practices, but then also have a particular emphasis on running a little bit of a training house. There, goldman sachs city morgan all ended up beating and are right now doing pretty solid in uh pre-market. What's morgan stanley msem right here up by 1.15, so the three that beat related to trading are all up in excess of one percent and then the one big bank that's a little bit more associated with like what i would classically think of as like traditional banking Wells fargo getting beat up a bit down by now 3.9.
So remember next week we just kicked off earnings season. So there's going to be more and more stuff to talk about over the next two to three weeks, a lot a lot of big important companies. So we're going to be talking about that in the morning of who's, beating who's, not beating what does this mean for the overall situation, and not only that we have these big earnings, but this time around, it's going to align with the fed's next meeting on wednesday May 4th wednesday may 4th that's when we're going to get the next interest rate increase right now. It seems like it's going to be priced in at .5, which would bring our total value to 0.75 and remember if they raise interest rates and that's a roundabout way to help battle inflation. But a side effect is not the most accommodative environment for the market, because it makes money more expensive and businesses need money to continue to grow. It's the whole game of loaning growing, loaning, growing loaning groaning that type of a thing, so lots of volatility. I know recently the start of the year crazy volatility, and then it got even crazier uh late february. It seems, like things have calmed down a little bit.
We had a nice bullish, push from mid-march to the end of march and then from the start of april, to now mid-april a little bit of a bearish push but volatility. It's kind of there. I think we're seeing more volatility in kind of these smaller capstocks, such as spfm tyrion, viru, which we will be talking about those because we're seeing some crazy crazy movement. But before we do that, i do want to dive into the details related to twitter, which is up six percent in pre-market, so we've been covering this saga.
Basically, elon at every single turn is just dunking on the company and most recently i made that video of how would a takeover actually look. He could buy shares off the open market, most likely not his best-selling option, because they could have poison pill them, which means they could have really diluted their own stock to ensure that he never got the percentage of voting power that he needed, or he could have Forgot about it and just be like ha ha. That was a funny troll or really the third option like 3a and 3b is tender on offer. He could do it himself or he could partner up with someone.
What looks like right here, elon musk offers to buy twitter for 43 billion, so it can be transformed as a private company. Now the offer is obviously just over 43 billion, and it's coming in at 54.20. A share now just to be very, very clear. This is not yet accepted, um, it's just an offer and obviously like twitter's gon na have to vote on it.
But if you look into the sec filing elon made it very very clear. This is his first and last offer. This is the highest he's going. It's kind of a take it or a leave it type of a deal, and he said he says it's not a threat, but it kind of sounds like a threat that if it's not accepted, he will be selling and he owns 10, like that'll, be a huge Hit to the stock if he just goes and starts like fire selling.
All of this so says it's not a threat kind of sounds like a threat and his reasoning, for it is now that he's like more involved with it. He has no trust in the management team. He has no trust in the leadership team. He doesn't think that they are doing free speech.
Any services uh i invested in twitter as i believe it in its potential to be a platform for free speech around the globe, but i believe free speech is the societal imperative for a functioning democracy. You know, i think, there's a lot of people with a lot of opinions on this. Like okay, i think there's at first you're like okay, yeah. No, we we need free speech. We would love someone to do that and then other people are, i would say, rightfully pointing out of like well also. Is it right that the world's richest man controls like solely controls, one of the world's most popular forms of communication, like what are the implications of that, but also remember, like someone's gon na own it um? So i can understand both sides, but right now this is just what the story is. Obviously you are more than welcome to have your own opinions and, as the story continues to develop, because it's been one of the most interesting sagas at least we've had recently um. Definitely interesting i'll continue to cover it and keep you guys updated.
If you want more of the details of the sec filing, i literally just posted, like a specialty video on the channel, both on rumble and youtube early this morning, so feel free to check that out. If you find me to be a little bit boring during the live stream, all right, so that's like the high level information stuff that i want to get through. I also now want to quickly rip through the short interest update just for amc, tyrion, gamestop, peru and twitter, just because these are all ones that have been making moves. Lately, amc just below 20 percent uh casabarro, still oddly low utilization, still maxed out shares on loan 138 million.
Now that we're speaking about amc, i also want to speak about amc token. I'm telling you there's this new thing going around of some group not associated with adamarion, not associated with ryan cohen, using the ape name to try to do some sort of, like coin drop like a fair sale at the end of this month. I'm telling you i'm not a financial advisor, do what you want with your own money, but it sounds like an absolute scam to me. These are my own opinions.
I read through the white paper and i just it's. It's super convoluted, very, very poor grammar - and i explained this in the video yeah like okay to some people. That, like doesn't mean anything but to me if you're talking about like a financial thing, i want attention to detail and if every single page of your white paper has grammar mistakes what's going on where's your due diligence like? Are they going to be as like? Careless with the actual product and then even speaking about this actual actual product, the amc token at one point there's like we're getting a thousand exit another one said: maybe we'll give it to management and then management will give it back to the people who actually own Stock but then at another point, they're like well we're providing value so like if people are making money. Why, like it's very convoluted, it looks like they took two to three distinct ideas. Put it together used a bunch of buds words and no actual road map like the road map, is and now we're worth 100 million and then we're worth 200 million like with no actionable things. Everything i saw about. That is a red flag in my mind and for me that is a no uh. So just wanted to talk about that very very quickly, and i had more details in that update video from last night.
A tyrian is another one that people have been talking about. Even myself, i have no position on this one, but i do find it interesting just because utilization is maxed out cost to borrow is sky high at 258 percent. Short interest is noteworthy high 42. It's a lower flow 19 million, and it's on the threshold list, which tells us that it's consecutively had quite a few ftds fails to deliver, as in something's a little bit funky going on.
So a tyrion. I would argue a worthwhile watch, but just to be very, very clear. I personally have no a tyrion position on gme short interest of 20 cost to borrow a little bit more reasonable compared to something like amc just because we see it maxed out. Okay, like eight percent that 810, that seems to be a little bit more right, uh amc's, i don't know, what's going on there and shares on loan 21 million another one that's been moving.
Lately is veru v e r. U, this is a momentum play in the kind of biotech sector uh. They just had some positive news related to acute respiratory like distress syndrome, or something like that. Basically, it's um.
They had good news related to a rona issue uh. So in this time, especially when we're seeing rhona concerns uptick and then they just got positive news from there, you saw the explosion and then it very quickly turned into a technical momentum play yesterday. We were talking about how it would be a great buy at 10, and then, if you look at what happened uh, i thought it had to back test 10 like once again. This is just becoming a pure technical play early in the morning.
We got that back test almost perfectly at 10 and then it ripped all day and right now, it's up even more 7 in pre-market, training and 42 is how much it gained yesterday uh, and we were literally just calling out that 10 mark. It's a little bit of a short squeeze. I mean 13 cost to borrow's a little bit higher utilization's 86, but i think it's a an amalgamation. If you will a little bit of the shorts getting squeezed out a little bit of just momentum and fomo uh.
I do want to clarify that. I don't think that this one will hold wherever it goes like. I think it has quite a bit of momentum. I mean at this point you could be watching 1570 from there.
You could watch 18 and then, after that you could actually watch sky high at 24.. It's a lot of momentum. This will come back down, though i just want to be very, very clear about this. Remember bulls and bears eat. Hogs get slaughtered do not get too greedy ride the trend ride the trend ride the trend when the trend is over, don't think it has to come back. It doesn't have to do squat ride the trend lock in your attendees. If you want to play the downside godspeed, i wish you the best of luck, but right now i would i'm definitely leaning bullish on it uh for today and then obviously i would look for confirmation at the opening, but i see a lot of strength. Also.
One thing i want to say about just the opening be careful about a gap fill it might just want to gap, fill like right out of the gate, which would be possible to 1450, and that could still technically be bullish. In fact, i would actually prefer it quickly fills that gap, and then we kind of continue to the upside does that have to happen no, but it would make me a little bit more calm if i were in that position, and also just because we're talking about Twitter uh, i also want to let you know that there's shorts, there are some shorts that could get squeezed out 6.5 super low cost to borrow super low utilization and a little bit bigger of a float relative to the ones that we've been talking about. So this to me the whole twitter thing not really something i would consider in the realm of like shorts in trouble. I think it's just more of elon doing his thing saying: hey: are you gon na take my offer at what was it 52 40 or not? I believe it was 52..
I want to mark that out for everyone. 52. 40.. Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, viru i'll be watching that um.
We have amc and jimmy um. It's always easy to kind of drop, one of them just because they move so similarly uh how's. It tyrion looking early this morning a lot of like this is what i was talking about right now. It has that vibe of these lower floats getting quite a bit of momentum, so the overall equities market a little bit up a little bit down.
It's doing a very good job of being volatile, but then really kind of going nowhere up up down down not too much there, not a nice trend, but individual ones. Uh virus been moving, a tyrion's been moving. Another one was sbfm. This one had some crazy movement at this point.
You might be one looking at that gap bill of 240, but who knows? Maybe if it catches itself and pushes back above, like 550, maybe a second life to it. Um, i'm not. The biggest fan of biopharma plays not because i don't think you can't make money. It's just.
I don't really know much about that field like that's, not where my particular knowledge lies, so i'm always a little bit hesitant. So i play them with a bit more caution, but that's just more of a personal decision. 54. 20.
Sorry, i missed those. I switch those i apologize. 54. 20..
There we go. I just want to mark it out to see how the market's going to react to that particular number. Can i pull the or text data on rite aid they're up 13 in pre-market 24 billion in revenue and only 400 mc short squeeze candidate, rad rad rad rad? Let's look that up rite aid. All right is this a short squeeze. Can it high short interest 38 cost to borrow unknown utilization? I would like to see that a bit higher, but it is a lower float. So i i can't comment on the cost to borrow, but i don't think it'd be that high, because the utilization has like about 25 more percent to go, but it does have a considerable short interest. So if your question is, could these shorts get squeezed out yeah? I mean there's about 20 million, who might be forced to kind of buy back in a possibility, but i don't it doesn't look like they're under much pressure. The shorts aren't under much pressure just because, like today, it's up it's up 13.75, but depending on when the shorts got in they've, been writing it down.
How long has the average short been in this remember? A short squeeze is when a lot of the shorts come under quite a bit of pressure to get out of the position and on average they've been in this for 41 days. So you would go back 41 trading days which at this point may be roughly on here. The average short is still green on the trade. I don't know where 40 days is somewhere in this region, but obviously it's still above where we're currently training at so it might turn into a short squeeze candidate.
But right now the shorts are just not under pressure. They're, still green they're, still positive. Good question: good question: what else do we have? Elon is going to have the liberal hive mind melting down today, um, probably i would assume i i think, there's going to be um. Some of the twitter employees referred to him as a racist and the fact that he now might end up owning their company.
It's time to i don't know, i guess it feels like the same thing of well, just even the people there like. If he does this, i'm leaving twitter, it kind of has like that same vibe of the people who, like way back in 2016, they're like if trump wins, i'm moving to canada and then did anyone actually move to canada. I don't think they're gon na leave twitter. I think it's a lot of people making some sort of just like high level statement to like express their anger, which, whatever, if they're angry, they're angry everyone.
You have your own right to be angry. I just don't buy it. Anyone who's like i'm gon na leave twitter if this happens like, but are you and more importantly, do you think anyone else really cares? You know what would be the big news is if elon said he was leaving twitter, that's the person who everyone would be like whoa whoa whoa like we want to know what elon's doing, but for some random person who, like i just don't think many other people Would care there's not many people who have as much twitter pull as elon does now also financially, but before i was just referring to literally just like his following his engagement and the way he uses it is matt congested today. Yes, thank you for noticing it's a little bit interesting yesterday. I was just talking about how when i get the sniffles, i think it should be national news, and this morning i woke up with the sniffles and you are spot on. I i still think it should be national news uh, i'm folks, i'm actually a little bit worried uh because, as you know, my completely real girlfriend for the past couple days has come down with the rhona and i'm worried she's might have given it to me. I've done my best to stay away from her and i treat her like a vampire and i have like my like cross and everything, but i think the germs didn't really acknowledge that. I don't know we're i'm a little bit happy that it's a three-day weekend.
Just in case i get hit and my system goes down uh i mean my immune system, not my tech system, uh at least i'll have three days to recover: hey matt is there a company handle on the one hour of route, chart i'm still learning and trying To see if it's too late to get in vroo one hour, one hour one hour, one hour kind of a cup and handle, i mean it's a little bit weird when a lot of the structure is basically based in the pre and post-market training. A little bit of the lighter thing, but close enough i mean none of these structures are something that, like are that perfect. There's always going to be a little bit of wiggle room, because training itself has a bit of randomness involved um. I would say it's close enough to a cup and handle definitely, we might be see it more well defined when the market, like the normal market hours, get going uh d3 and zinc.
I've been trying to take some zinc. Maybe i should just load up just see how much zinc and vitamin d and vitamin c i can take, puts on twitter write no way to they accept that deal they might honestly, i don't, i would be afraid to bet against twitter right now, just because, if They don't accept it he's going to sell his stake if he sells his stake. That goes down. Remember a lot of these board members they're compensated in twitter, so for them they might have been like hey.
It was fun while it lasted but uh. I can honestly see it breaking either way, but remember it's not just that regulators might not allow it, and we all know that elon is like always always fighting with the sec, but them and other regulatory bodies. The government has to approve this, not just twitter itself. I think that's very, very important, because even if twitter's like yeah, no, we want to the government could come in and say like.
No one man should have that much power like that type of a thing, so something uh something to consider. Uh matt, i got the rona right now. It's not that bad two days of body, pain and headache, not as bad as a cold. Honestly, all right.
So i guess, if i do end up having it at least i don't know i'll just ideally recover over the weekend. Lmomp was a rug. Pull the ticker has been removed. Those hedgies, where will they stop nancy pelosi, could block elon damn. I think this is personal to elon. I think the twitter bio is motivated personally. To be honest, i feel that matt take ivermectin. I heard it cures everything, zinc, d and c.
That's how i got through my covey two days of throat sore and sniffles. Honestly. Right now i just have a bit of congestion, and i noticed i was getting a little bit tired. Yesterday, like i went to bed early and i was even like a little low energy throughout the stream, but today my energy's back because i crushed my - i just went for a run because i was like yeah.
I was feeling iffy, so i didn't really want to be around anyone else, so i went for a run um just to stay away from all other human beings, but uh. I was feeling good, so we'll see how it goes. Maybe it's just a little bit of false hope, we'll figure it out, we'll figure it out and the market's gon na open in just under two minutes. Two minutes: two minutes: where are we at oh, if you haven't already, could you help me out by hitting that like button, if you're on rumble, if you're on youtube, it's all important go cross like and like and like and like and make another fake account and, Like on that, one, and then subscribe, find me on myspace, but all that stuff.
It helps me out with the algorithm in the back end, so it'd be nice. Let's pump those numbers up, pump, pump them up pump them numbers up, especially be like i mean i'm putting in effort today. I have sniffles folks, and you know my thoughts on sniffles back when i was in corporate america. If i woke up with some sniffles no way not going into work, not because i necessarily cared about getting my fellow employees sick more just because i have sniffles and it's a big deal when i have sniffles.
So this is the new and improved. This just shows how much i love all of you guys. I love all of you. I i'm sure you're all giving me your thoughts and prayers right now be like matt sniffles man, all right.
Let's get ready 45 seconds. How awesome would it be if elon bought twitter and hired trump to be their fact checker? It would be content. I don't know if people would be using twitter the way they did previously as like kind of an open digital forum, but it would be funny, at least, i suppose, content content worthy to say the least. What else do we have going on bell is about to go down everyone, god, speed rocket ships about to take off the casino is open, save matt from the sniffles.
I appreciate that and when i'm, when i'm feeling 100, you guys are gon na have to save save sniffles from me, because if i had it my way, i'd take them out. I take them all out all right. A little bit of uh excitement amc for whatever reason it seems like this. 1820 level has become pretty important. We bounce right off of that today, twitter, a little bit of a quiet opening, veru uh gap, fill remember. Downside gap fill on viru that i don't think would be like actually like that bad whatsoever. If we get it, it is at 14.50. I just want to map that out for anyone who is messing around with said equity, varue, varuvaru veru.
I said 1450 right, or am i losing my mind all right, so we have that we're watching amc today, two things with that: they bought seven bowtie cinemas. Four of them will be operational by the end of this month. The other three, i don't believe, there's a date on it, twitter, we're watching that, just because of our boy, elon varu has been a momentum, push off of a fundamental development related to like a-r-d-s. I think what is it acute respiratory, something something something related to rona they're trying to make the world a better place? Can you check sonm uh gap up telecom? It's a penny stock.
That's been kind of like this was the exciting time to get in on this push, and then this was another time to play to the downside. Now it feels a bit chasey. I just feel like the play is over. This was the time to be bullish.
This was the time to be bearish. Now it's you just got to find the next one you're very late to both the bull party and the bear party um you just unless it starts going again. I guess maybe if it pushes 90 but then you're watching it at a dollar, it's just and now you'll have some bag holders um, sometimes the the moves you have to consider just the newest environment. If there are bag holders on it, i'd be worried about them.
Selling for me it might work, but it's a it's a penny stock. I just feel like there's better opportunity in the market. Right now i do uh twitter getting smoked at the start. Let's go through our banks, how's goldman, doing goldman it's continuing upward today might be the day of these banks that have done well.
Morgan stanley, also looking good up 3.6 percent. Citibank is up. 2. city seems to be lagging, which i would find interesting.
So city had similar numbers to morgan stanley, goldman sachs in terms of just okay, they beat it was impressive. It was because of um trading really so that one lagging a little bit. Maybe maybe you can buy the lager, but the one that's not doing well is wells fargo down six percent. They don't really have that trading sub sector of their business, which is the thing that made the other three goldman: morgan stanley and city extra money to the tune of extra billions.
So wells fargo, that's the one that i would say is the odd duck out. Matt chorus has sniffles sniffles yeah. I do i'm embarrassed um amc coming back around twitter, you never know veru we're getting close to that gap. Phil will gap daddy strike again.
Is the question all right, working work and working i've never been a fan of wells. Well, uh, wells fargo is another one that do you remember a couple years ago they got demolished by regulators by the public. They were caught in like a pretty serious scandal of trying to get people to sign up for all these extra accounts that they didn't need. I believe people were getting charged extra money. Um people aren't really forgetting that i would say just because of that, like they lost their trust with the public um. It was a big big deal that had to happen back in 2017. 2018. I think it was about four or five years ago, but i don't know i because of that it's never been one.
That interests me. I think goldman sachs is kind of an interesting one, um that one's up 2.6 - and this is more of what i'm referring to of like a medium to long-term investment in riding out the rate height cycle that we're gon na have for the remainder of the year. I, like goldman morgan stanley, like they're, all pretty similar like um. I think it's nuanced differences, but i am bullish on financials for the remainder of the year um i just the one i don't like is wells fargo, these other ones uh and like there's.
Actually, some interesting opportunity in kind of some of these smaller regional banks um, so maybe something worthwhile to look into if you're trying to slack off at work today, they used a count to add collateral in growth. I forget the exact details that sounds pretty like similar to what i saw, but it was. It was a big deal like people were like this is crazy like and they got caught and they got in a lot of trouble and like they, people were trying to people who worked at the company were trying to like bring it out to the public kind Of like whistleblow on it, and then they were like, like kind of hiding, that from mainstream media uh all right verru did we get the gap phil. No i'm embarrassed.
I was off by 20 cents. I still think it might happen. Amc pretty good job at going. Nowhere thus far today, let's see if it can hold this support, uh twitter, going down.
Let's check in on the overall market, the spy continuing its trip upward. If you're playing the overall market, i would highly suggest watching 446. That's a big breakout level um! Technically, that's a gap fill right here. We didn't actually gap the low on april, 8th of 4, 45 94.
still viable play still a very viable play right about there uh. So something maybe to consider if you're feeling a bit bullish the tech sector not doing the best today, small cap had a good morning selling off and it seems like that sell-off is what's currently correlated with the drop in amc veru coming back around um. Let's see like i was gon na say hang on. That might be interesting because you could risk this, but, like i would still be a little bit worried about the lack of the gap fill thus far.
I'd feel a little bit more comfortable, seeing that gap fell and then seeing a little bit of buyers step in maybe a volume spike like one of those bars like we were watching yesterday. That's something i would personally be looking for: morgan stanley, looking good goldman sachs how's gme doing jimmy not having the best of days. A tyrian may be worthwhile to watch this one, maybe uh wanting to push a six dollar value or something like that. What else do we have all right? Keep them questions flowing. Uh is nft the new way for collectibles. It could be. I mean what an nft is, and we cover this more on the crypto stream and the crypto videos it. It stands for a non-fungible token.
It basically is just a digital signature, a series of letters and numbers that proves it is a unique thing like that. Is it um, so it's just and that could be used in a lot of things. Yes, right now it seems like - or it was it's getting kind of less popular. Now at first it seemed like a bubble of just like influencers pumping weird looking pictures, and it was a big fomo thing, but the underlying technology could be used in so much wherever you just need to prove authenticity.
You could use that in medical records. You can use that in government documents. You could use that in copyright for the world of music. You could use that in real estate to represent a deed um.
The underlying technology is very, very powerful and i think we'll we'll be using that for sure. I just think what we think of nfts in terms of 2021, like circa 2021 of influencers saying this: is my project? Buy it we're all gon na make money and go to the moon like that type of a thing i think that's a bubble. That might actually be in the middle of popping right now. Verru is rocketing.
Folks, let's play the fun game of where's veru gon na go next. I wish it gap-filled looks like it doesn't want to do that today. Next, stop all right, so it needs the breakout where it is right now it needs to hold 16, then we're watching 18 and then after 18, maybe like 21, all right, so you want it to hold 16 next watch is 18. lots of volatility in this one.
Today, 18, 18, 18, 18. 18., all right cool beans. That's what we're watching on for a room. This one uh not really a short play.
There are some shorts that are probably gon na get burned if this keeps behaving this way, but definitely much more of a momentum. This is a lower float. It's not like a micro or a pico float, but it's on the lower end twitter getting smoked thus far. Uh amc trying to hold that 1820 level, a tyrion holding its own at the break-even level.
Quite a few of these things are varue up. Another 12 percent, literally yesterday when we were calling out ten dollars or already have a 60 return in about 24 hours, which is just crazy and that's not even through options. That's like just purely through stock itself per a doctor. Even if you do not smoke nicotine knocks out rona buy, some smoker's gum will feel better faster, but then i would be risking getting addicted to nicotine. So i don't know if that's worth the risk, you know nfts and video games will never work. I do uh. I think it'll work, it's just. People already spend millions and millions and millions of dollars in aggregate on things such as skins.
Now, all of a sudden, if that is an nft, where you get voting power of the game's tournaments game modes, the next levels, the next season, i think that could be popular. I know there's a little bit of a pushback from gamers in the world of nfts of like okay like who are the artists like? Are they gon na? What's their driving, i guess force. Are they in it just for the money? Will they be respected, but i think those are all things that can get solved, i'm focusing on the fact that it gives gamers a voice in the games that they love the most um. So i'm actually bullish on that.
I think that's going to be something that we see get bigger for the remainder of this year and then really explode in 2023., all right gapfill on varu. Well, that was a crazy movement, so we saw that crazy push to the upside, and now it halton veru halt ver rue halt um it gap-filled, so we could at least say gap. Daddy was right once once again all right, so this is gon na, be a five minute halt here, we'll and right here we'll get the exact time that it halted. Uh training, hal volatility, pause training expected to resume at 9.
40. 7. 32.. We've seen this recently in amc and jimmy.
This is a downside circuit, breaker hall. Basically, it dropped too much too fast, so they didn't want that type of volatility, so in a certain sense, like amc and jimmy it actually, for that particular halt that a lot of people saw with amc and jimmy now viru. It actually kind of kills bearish momentum because it was selling off and they're, like nope, no more hit a circuit circuit breaker. What do we have here? It went from that was a it dropped 14 before the halt got engaged uh a tyrion.
Now, looking good people who were watching virus they're like all right well, if that's paused, we might as well go see what's going on in in tyrion, interesting how's, the spy looking coming down q's the tech sector is selling off today, uh and iwm kind of went Up looking like the spy, um twitter kind of coasting right now, so let's throw the spy back up there and then lids amc down 2.4 percent gme down 1.66 bed bath and beyond getting smoked down 7, actually quite a bit of a red day, uh one of The only green things on my watch list is uh cfvi, which is associated with rumble nvidia's a little bit green, but same thing pumped came down, it's just you're, seeing the big tech plays getting smoked. Doge is somehow green. Let's do our quick, crypto check-in uh seems like things bottomed out and we got a bit of a pop, but very recently we're seeing a little bit of a sell back over uh spy. Oh well, it looks like eyes might be moving to a tyrion today. Let's see what the flow is doing this morning, we're about 15 minutes in, we should have some decent flow. Tesla call call call twitter call to 60. spy. Put put, we have more twitter and tesla calls spy put twitter more twitter calls more tesla calls and a tesla put tell us a call.
Tesla put cues call call call call call for 15 and eight days out so, even though the queues are getting murked right now, people are kind of going bullish into that they're. Buying that weakness, jpmorgan call qq, put kind of undoing what we saw. Tesla calls all right a little bit of a mixed bag um. I would say that i'm interested in what knowing i mean, someone threw down 1.13 milli on tesla thousand dollars for eight days out.
That's a big bet for such a short time frame. So, what's jumping out to me here are basically the tesla calls right now and i guess the spy puts uh the spy hang on, let's throw up, tesla and see how that's actually behaving people have been going in on tesla. Maybe they might have quickly gotten out, though, if they did that morning, push maybe like a 10, maybe they're already out that's a possibility, um, but that's from the flow. Thus far.
That's what i see that's a little bit noteworthy. Let's see if there's any other breaking news, all right, twitter shares cut, early gains lasts up two percent mgm testing nft tickets at performances in las vegas. According to coindesk legrand uh premature to talk about quantitative tightening, they've, basically already been talking about qt here in the us. This is over for europe.
Just so you know, twitter's board is meeting at 10 am to discuss elon musk's takeover offer, cnbc ooh spicy finance, bro drama. I wish i were a finance bro. I never got my invite amazon launches its first amazon, kids plus original mobile games, amazon spreading its tentacles into every other aspect of our world, a tyrion, a watchless mover uh, a tyrion. We better start mapping out some of these levels because it is rocking today a tyrian, a tyrianityrian, so i have six dollars.
Then the next watch is just below seven and then seven, seventy just below seven and then seven. Seventy just blue seven. Then seven. Seventy uh tier and varu just opened back up all right cool cool.
So, let's see if this can recover spy, getting slapped, tesla getting smacked and it's really tech is getting smacked. The cues smackdown smack so like. I was saying before that bell went ding, andy ding. It seems like the opportunities are kind of in like individual, like smaller float companies right now, um, viru and tyrion have been things that have been watching for the past.
I don't know what week and a half we've been talking about it some opportunity to say the least, but tyrion is the one who's doing pretty well today, up 8.8 percent and gaining virus actually now red on the day, even though it was up 11 high volatility. Stick to your trading plan. Do i speak about prague anymore when there's something to speak, about uh they're, doing a name, change, they're gon na have a new ticker, but that's about it. There's no like real fundamental development with it. Musk is buying twitter he's trying to buy twitter for 43 billy, actually he's trying to buy it for like 43.2 billy. If you do out the math, but i like, when you're talking about numbers so big that 200 million dollars is just rounding. They're, like it's just 43. well to any of us, 200 million dollars is like many generations worth of wealth, but to him they're like ah we'll just round that no one really cares anyway.
Does ater have potential to go over 15. No clue! Absolutely! No clue! You just ride the momentum uh, i think there's too many people that are fixated with price targets and i like price targets, if i were to do like a fundamental breakdown or like a gap, fill or maybe even looking at some fib levels. But when i'm looking at a high volatile volatility like squeeze play, that's not the time to use price targets, that's the time to ride the trend you're on a roller coaster. You don't know where the roller coaster is going.
You ride it, you ride it. You ride! It the risk is just too big to have a price target. There is one scenario where you're above where it's going to go, and then you end up making no money on the trade because, like imagine if it only comes up like a couple cents below where you were gon na sell, never hits. It comes all the way.
Back down now, you're pissed. What if, on the flip side, it hits your level you sell, you take your profit, but what? If it runs five times that, whenever you're, looking at high volatility, like fomo momentum, squeeze type of things just ride the trend? There's no point in having a price target. I like wholeheartedly believe that hello. Can you speak chinese? I cannot atr fundamentals.
Look horrible. Atr is definitely not a fundamental investment. This is your. This is a trade.
This is an active, active trade, something that you need to closely be monitoring throughout the day you have to have alert set if you're, not at your computer. This is not a fundamental play for a long term. This is a momentary trade. It's exactly a trade.
I wouldn't argue that it's an investment is the transfer of product to the new ticker automatic, or do i have to sell and buy back? It will be automatic adrian you'll load on twitter, 420 contract 47 call 520 elon buying uh to buy 540 kind of kind of ironic mikey. I like it hope you crush it. Are you an atr? I am not. If you want to know my trades and just like my ideas and like some breaking news, that's all posted on locals uh.
If you want to know the stocks, i'm in you could see that on public, but just for some other different type of commentary, not only for me but other people in the moon game community. That's for locals! So macquarie's locals.com! It's in the description! There's a free version there's also a 10 a month version if you want some like extra stuff of just other people talking and if you want to engage with them type of a thing, but i think it's worthwhile to check out we post some breaking news. Some ideas uh, that type of stuff and if i trade options, which right now has been a little bit slower, i just haven't seen really opportunity that, like overly excites me there's some that i'm like, i probably should have pulled the trigger on that. But if i'm being completely honest, i've been waiting to see how things are gon na shake out with the fed um things seem to be like being digested in the market right now, like okay, it's gon na be point five percent. We understand they're going to be a bit more hawkish, so i think we might be getting it back into another phase, but the real reason in april, why i haven't been doing the craziest amount of stuff is because seasonally april is very bullish and all of my, Like underlying algorithms want to go bullish, but then what we've been seeing in reality is actually a little bit more of bearishness since the start of the month. So when there's mismatches like that, i go into a little bit more of like capital preservation mode um. So sometimes you got to take things in stride because not every trading day week or month is built the same and sometimes there's just a mismatch and there's periods where you're just kind of sitting on your hands waiting for opportunity um. Obviously i wish i crushed viru.
I wish i crushed a teary, and just i was a little bit late to the party and you're not gon na hit them all. If anything, i think that's a skill that we should all work on. Cultivating is realizing wow, that's nuts, but i'm late. So good luck to everyone else, who's currently crushing it type of a thing.
What else do we have to do? Uh, draftkings, pen, fubo? What do you think i like pen, the most um? I, like all three of those, like, i think, they're fine in terms of like a longer-term investment, but i do like pendemos just because it's diversified um it has physical casinos and because it has like equity stake in barcelona sports. It has the sports book. So i i like the diversity of it, because draftkings is exclusively online betting, while penn has a little bit more than that. I just want twitter to go to 54, so i can short it by.
I mean it might get up there, but it's under quite a bit of pressure as we're seeing uh sectors sell off today. Well, as i say about that, it is swinging back around watch for twitter to break above we'll just call it 47.50. This might have some fight in it abc speaking of fight right now, just barcoding at that key level of 1820 gme, holding its own just below 150, would love to see a recovery in that bed bath and beyond getting smoked mullen at 230. Nothing too crazy going on there tesla, maybe putting in its bottom at 9.90. Maybe question mark dwack, now getting even more beat up because of most likely the twitter news, uh cfei aka rumble low low volume, but still green on the day. How's apple, looking apple selling, off text selling off that makes sense, microsoft, most likely selling off. Indeed, it is uh qcom. I would expect the same thing.
Yes, look at that, so we're just seeing a lot of the tech sector. How many call splits do you consider an average position? I don't think about it like that, because calls and puts could be priced vastly far apart. So like there's, some calls inputs that are sent and then there's some that are thousands and thousands of dollars um. So you would just bet whatever like if your sports bettor, you would use the equivalent of a what's your unit size of like, if you have a thousand dollar account, is your unit 100 bucks like that type of a thing? I never really look at the price of a share or the price of an option.
It's how much money do i want to put in because you're looking for a percentage gain on your money.
How is this gaming stream, youtube??
WTF
