Foreign. Thank you Foreign. Well hearty Her: Her: what is going on? What is going on? Happy happy happy Monday What's it February The sixth I Want to say I think it's the sixth it should be is this six but if it's not, I'm sorry it's not like I believe much in the Gregorian calendar anyway. but I Hope everyone had an absolutely fantastic weekend I Hope you got some good rest and relaxation.
Hopefully you were able to take some time off of the interwebs because honestly, how healthy can it actually be for us to be spending so much time on our little internet box here? But anywho, we're about to get into another fun full week of training. In fact, it'll be the first full week of training in the month of February I'm going to show you a little bit of the seasonality for the month of February Kind of a tough month and you're about to see it, but the first third of it is generally a lot of chop up, down, up, down, up down. Then there's a big rip and then there's a big sell-off into the end of the month. That's just the seasonal bias.
Obviously, it doesn't mean that it has to play out, but we'll be taking a look at that just because it is the First full month of trading in February then I Want to talk about some of the developments last week? Obviously we had the Fomc meeting. we had a lot of earnings earnings will be continuing this week, but overall from the start of The year and more so recently, we've been seeing a lot of things ripped to the upside, even the overall. Market not just individual names and we've seen a lot of those. And I hope you're making a lot of money obviously.
I Want to beat it into all of your minds of as soon as you quickly can, especially in these like high flying kind of just like I don't know. Let's just call them crappy stocks that are just moving out of nowhere. Remember as quickly as you can move your trailing stop loss to break even and as it continues to rip in your favor. Obviously fingers crossed that it does that, you're gonna want to be moving your trailing stop loss Higher and Higher and Higher and just ride the roller coaster to the peak.
And then obviously you're trying to get off as close to the peak as you possibly can. This concept of diamond handing and just like refusing to sell like random crappy names that are moving out of nowhere, it's dangerous. It's absurdly dangerous. Don't be afraid.
If you're in the I guess situation of having to burn a pattern day trade. don't don't be worried about that. You should care far more about making high quality trades than like, okay, like I'm gonna carry on like too much risk overnight because of pattern day training. If you don't have any more, just don't trade.
take the day off. Come back the next day, or come back whenever you have those and I get it. I've been there on some of my smaller accounts right now I deal with that myself. It sucks and it's just part of the game.
It's crappy. I Don't agree with pattern day trading at all I think it's one of the dumbest rules that we've ever made for the market. It just it is what it is. So I want to talk quite a bit about all that? the earnings fomc meaning the over extension in the overall Market I have a list of things charts that we should review if you guys have anything that you want to have reviewed. obviously, you can comment it. We're going to go over just some prep for the day prep, maybe for the week, maybe for the remainder of the month. It's nice at the start in the end of month to kind of do more of a holistic view of what's going on. Of course we're going to be talking a little bit about the balloon that got popped.
uh, just some wild wild wild memes and fun coming out of that one and then just some other generic stories I Want to talk a little bit more about the Donnie group that is. He used to be the world's third richest man, but ever since that Hindenburg short report came out two weeks ago. a week and a half ago. Whatever it was that company has been getting absolutely decimated and Adani who was the Third World's Richest Man, has been absolutely nose diving in the billionaire list on Forbes I Also want to share it with you I don't know if I've done this in the past, but I would love to share with you I'm kind of excited I'm a little excited and I know maybe I don't seem like it but I am because if we're not talking about streams, if we're just talking about uploaded videos of any length but not streams.
I Now officially over this past weekend have my best video ever. My best including streams ever was right around 975 000 I Still haven't produced a piece of content that's hit a million views but we're getting close and the one that I posted uh, it did nothing for absolutely two months. like nothing nothing and then over this weekend for whatever reason I guess there's just the new YouTube algorithm has changed some things. uh I posted a video and my best uploaded video before this weekend was an AMC video that had like 260 270 000 views.
Uh, this one is now over half a million and I wanted to show all of you what we actually get paid for a video of that size I think sometimes uh when people look at content creators, they just think, oh like all those views, all that money. uh I kind of actually want to show you I want to show you exactly how much I make on my best uploaded video ever and I think it's gonna be surprising to quite a few of you. so uh if I forget about it, someone remind me. but I kind of want to go over that.
just kind of show you a little bit of behind the scenes of what it's like to not only be a content creator a streamer in the finance which I know many of you have heard is like that's the high paying one uh I kind of wanna share some insights into really how you don't get as much money as as you think um 500k views on a weekend. yeah I think it was technically like because coming into it had like 75 80ish and now it's over. So over the past three days Friday Saturday Sunday it's really really been ripping and the metrics are crazy. but I want to show you how the financial aspects of that it's It's really not as impressive as you think it would be. Um when you hear about the big big numbers of the world of content creation, usually they're citing numbers that are like Mr beast-esque so they're picking the one dude who's getting like hundreds of millions of views and then like there's still good money in it. I'm not trying to make it seem like that, but I'm just saying like when we hear these articles and these stories and whatnot of some of the big big people understand that they're looking at like the top five in the entire world. The numbers can be awesome, but a lot of the times it's like misleading compared to like what most people actually making content and I just wanted to share with you I mean my whole goal with this is to talk about numbers and finance and make money and losing money. Um so I figured why not share a little bit more about the business that I'm actively running in terms of content? Creation with all of you like just for those of you who maybe are in social media content creation yourself? for some of those of you who might be a little interested in it I figured why not share my actual numbers just so we're all I don't know.
transparency I feel like is key and why not do that? Um, me Kevin said he made Millions off of YouTube from YouTube Well, he sells courses so that's different. I'm talking about like revenue from the platform itself. Uh, meet Kevin gets a lot of views which means he gets a lot of eyeballs on things such as his courses or his advertisers. so like, obviously it's beneficial.
Uh, but to get millions? Well how long has he been? Maybe he's over in terms of a million in just ad Revenue I Find that hard to believe and I'll show you exactly why because you can kind of extrapolate the CPM out. Um I Have no doubt that he's made millions in a secondary effect of the fact that he drives people to his courses like he's a very smart guy like I personally enjoy his content. So I have no doubt. but I'm saying like directly pay direct payments from YouTube for the ad stuff.
Um, um, just show it now. Okay, yeah, we'll do it since we've talked so much about this. So hang on, let me bring it up. Content Content content.
Uh, let me find it exactly. Uh, Analytics Analytics Analytics Analytics. So this is actually ridiculous. So I'm going to show you guys a little bit of the back end right here.
So I posted this video all the way back on November 21st. So keep that in mind. I Posted this video on November 21st and it did okay to begin with. for me, I'm not really known as the shorts Creator which is a video at one minute or less.
Uh, it did all right and then it just kind of died. Uh, just did nothing. It was sub 10 000 for quite a while. Uh, the numbers on the bottom here are how many how many days ago it was posted and as you can see up until it kind of did nothing for 70 days like I was at a this is your impressions um it just wasn't being shown to that many people. Kind of tough you could see I'll switch it over the views you can see. It did nothing. Those were the Impressions so it was chilling. Uh, 10 000.
How long did it take to get 20 000. it took a month, it took a full month to pass. 20 000 views. Uh and then you even at 65 days it only had 46 000 views.
it wasn't doing anything. and then uh between Wednesday Thursday it started pick up and then Friday it got a little bit more. Saturday and Sunday it just like absolutely exploded. So I posted this thing about over two months over two months ago, did nothing, did nothing, did nothing, did nothing and as you can see now it's officially exploded to like over half a million.
Uh I Know to some people someone like Mr Beast that would mean absolutely nothing because like if he got that many views, he'd actually probably be upset. But for me, I'm still because it's my best video uploaded ever. Like I said I do have a couple streams that are higher than this, but if we're not counting streams, if we're just counted uploaded videos like Clips videos, vods, whatever you want to call them, this is now officially my best one By like almost double. Um, so my best one.
Uh, any guesses before I show you guys this Any guesses on how much I was paid for this one? Uh, this is now my best video on YouTube ever. and I want to know if there's any guesses of how much the platform has paid me for making a video that's gotten half a million views. Yeah, it seems like some of your your votes are right. So half a million views later and I have gotten a revenue of just under 17 dollars.
So am I Rich? Absolutely. I am crazy crazy rich now. I've gotten one hour of minimum payment in many states foreign. My best video ever.
and uh, it's minimum wage you know and I still have to pay taxes on it. So this is this is the world of the wealthy. I can almost buy a full dozen eggs now. So I'm I'm pretty stoked about this one.
The first 24 hours is where you make the most money. so if you made a lot of views after the 24 hours, it's not a true scale. the first 24 hours where you make the most money I don't know if I agree with that. from what I've seen it, you make your money where you get your most views.
so most of the time your views come in the first 24 hours. But this one is an abnormal case because I got no views for like 65 70 days and then it took off. and now that it's taking off I'm Rich 1671. I can almost buy myself some avocado toast in a coffee at Starbucks So I wanted to share a little bit a little bit of what's going on. It's kind of funny I mean I've actually seen videos and this is their new improved rate I Want to make that very clear this is now YouTube saying like we're gonna pay for short so much more before this uh there's been videos I think it was on Ludwig's Channel where he was talking about like a short that he had that was millions of views and he got like two or three bucks. So I want to clarify that this is the new improved higher payment from YouTube and as you can tell, not that much higher. so that's that's some interesting stuff. Just wanted to share it with you.
Um, so could you make money? Obviously you can make money I mean if I somehow instead of getting 500 000 if I Got 5 million Okay now we're talking 167 dollars. Now we're talking some money that if you're continually producing those types of videos, okay, those could add up. especially if you kind of get that. Snowball Effect Uh, but it's just a little bit deceiving.
and when you see these quote unquote big numbers uh, kind of 1671 What's this even say? Total estimated revenue from this video since it was published includes all Google sold ads and transactions for this video estimated Revenue subject to month end adjustments and does not include partner sold or partner served advertising or transactions. So what? That'd be something What if I have to report to you guys at the end of the month that it kind of turned down and they're like, actually, we adjusted it and you're not getting that. We're not even giving you the 1671. Uh, and I assume it's just because like if you go to shorts on YouTube they probably just don't play as many ads.
and obviously just from a business perspective, if you're playing less ads, you're not gonna. There's not as much money to like I don't know. share with it and everything so just wanted to throw that out. Maybe uh I see some people coming through with questions I'd love to answer it.
so maybe I'll make like a standalone video that shows you like the difference between a stream. a VOD uh like a short. like just to kind of show you the different ones and like my best, my worst, all that just to I don't know, show you what's going on Finance channels have a higher CPM than gaming and vlogging channels so you're bawling yeah, but that for some reason you're not even getting close to finance rates when you're doing a short like my point is right now YouTube is in a big battle with Tick Tock and there's a hyper focus on making short videos and they're obviously the algorithm is promoting short videos and yada yada yada. But even if you're making a finance based short video, you're not getting normal like Finance RPM CPM or anything like that.
It's just it's like it's just a whole different world and more people are talking about it now because everything changed as of Feb one as of February 1st. That's like when they're hey, we're gonna pay you guys more and that's the higher paid one. So before this, as of whatever, December January or any time before, when you saw these shorts taking off of people getting like 10 million views, 20 million views, 50 million views, there's a good chance they weren't even getting above five bucks. Like they truly were probably not getting above five dollars on a video that had like tens of millions of views on a short. Um, obviously, if you have a multi-hour lecture on options trading and that has hundreds of thousands of views, yeah, you'll probably be getting good money, you'll probably get like a couple thousand. But what are the chances of a video such as that where it's like a good Finance Sector One? Very long everyone watching it. They're just not that popular. They just don't There's not an appetite for really the average person to watch that.
On the flip side, there's an appetite for millions of people to quickly watch a short. But then they don't run ads. They don't run ads at the same rate. It's not as valuable as ads like.
There's just a couple things you have to consider. But any hoosil, we should talk about the market quickly. Uh, before it opens I Just want to put out there some of the major things. So what we're going to do is: I Want to get everyone ready for the day, feel a little bit more comfortable before that bill goes Dingy ding ding ding.
Get over the main major things: We're going to watch the market open for the first 10, 20, 30 minutes and then from there some important business economic. Finance stories that I want to get into as we have our alerts set to know if there's any breakouts or breakdowns. But a couple things. So now that we're officially underway with the First full trading month, our first full trading week within the new month, I.E February I Want to point out to you that the start of Feb the first third is very choppy.
From a seasonal standpoint, there's not really a bullish push. There's not really a bearish push. It is choppy, choppy, choppy choppy. That's about the first third of February.
Then we have a big push. Then we have a big sell-off This is just seasonality. This is. looking at what the overall Market did over the past two to three decades.
It doesn't mean it has to happen again, but this is the quote-unquote average median normal expected movement for the start of February Just a choppy mess. So I just wanted to throw that out there for everyone. and now let's talk a little bit more specific: Dell to lay off 6.6 000 workers or five percent of it's Workforce It's probably up on the news because recently we've been seeing stocks pop when they say that they're laying people off stock feature slide to start week with more earnings than pal. Speech ahead.
Uh, so we're going to be talking about that, but right now a little bit in pre-market we're currently trading at 409.50 This is on the Spy the ETF tracking the S P 500 with Friday's low being 41109. Which of course means what it means that there is an opportunity for an upside Gap fill. We are currently trading at 409.50 the low on Fridays for 11.09 Which means we have an upside Gap Bill roughly a dollar fifty to the upside I put this all on locals I put the exact value. But basically you're looking for the whole the low on Friday because we're going to open most likely below it unless something crazy happens in the next 10 minutes, so just want to throw that out there. we're all sliding down. But that means that there is an opportunity for a quick little trade. Dao S p NASDAQ Red Red Red Oil Oil's been getting really beat up. My Oxy position is kind of getting close to my pain threshold I have not sold Oxy yet I will let you know if that happens, but it's getting to the point where I'm like so I very much need oil to stay above and bounce hard off of 70.
we love to see that re-test of 82 and ideally break out to 90 95 100 something like that. Uh, once again, have not sold my Oxy yet. but I will let you know if anything there changes. yield's going up a little bit.
Makes sense. We have the market coming down a little bit in terms of big macro economic announcements Today Nothing nothing scheduled. Kind of an easy start to the week, but tomorrow at 12 40 we have Jerome Powell the chairman of the FED speaking at the economic Club of Washington if you guys want. we could obviously stream that and then at 2PM we have the FED Vice chair uh Michael Barr speaking uh later on it's just like a lot of Fed I mean look at this William speaking on Wednesday Cook speaking uh bar speaking we have Kashkari speak and we have Waller speaking this is we're now look at Waller speaking again uh Harker speaking like this is now going to be another week of just a lot of Fed discussions so I just want to throw that out there today.
Not much going on, but tomorrow we're going to have Powell speaking 12 40 and obviously if there's a demand, more than happy to stream that and talk about it with all of you. We also are still in earning season. not as crazy as last week, but still pretty important tomorrow. before for the Market opens we have BP for all the oil energy Traders out there Royal Caribbean after the market closes today sorry I skipped this Pinterest Activision T2 So we have two gaming ones.
probably pretty important I'll personally be watching those we have Chipotle we have Uber we have CVS we have Wendy's we have Under Armor we have Disney Disney's going to be one of the bigger ones that's Wednesday After the market closes, we have Robin Hood we have MGM we have PayPal we have Pepsi so we are still in earnings season. maybe not those massive High fire ones that we saw last week, but still incredibly important ones. I mean Uber's there so whatever Uber does I think Lyft just being such a similar business I would Telegraph Uber's beat and or Miss ahead to Telegraph So uh Expedia I mean we know Airlines have been doing well so I wouldn't be so surprised if Expedia beep. So some things to talk about there. The big big one of the week though is clearly Disney A lot of people are going to be watching Disney once again, that's after the market closes on Wednesday Just so everyone knows five things to know before that Bell goes Diggity ding ding ding today Monday Feb 6th hey I was right. Uh, that's that's pretty awesome February Heat check Um, let me just kind of show you this a little bit better Recently, basically ever since the start of the year, but it really got going on. Friday The 6th. The Market's just been.
Rip City It's actually on the daily chart. It's been ripping so much that we're now on the top side of the Volatility band. This is the Keltner Channel I mean we closed above it. We kind of got smacked.
It's an abnormality. I mean we've moved so hard to the upside that I'm of the opinion it's not that crazy to have a healthy pullback. Some sort of mean reversion pullback will that lead to a greater sell-off I Have no idea it might. But I'm saying in the short term when things move like this this much this quickly, especially when the Market's most likely ahead of itself in terms of mispredicting what the fed's gonna do I don't know.
This is not the time in my book that I'd be like going long for a medium or long-term trade. The time to do that was when we broke out of the trend line. like you should be in here. But to chase this now, it's just generically on whatever time frame to go long when you're on the top side the north side of a Volatility band.
It's just the odds aren't in your favor. Of course it could work out, but the odds are very very very low. So I'm kind of actually looking for just a healthy, mean reversion type of play. even if there's a mean reversion to 400 or the nine.
Simple, moving, average or or just something in here. It's just things are getting a little bit too hot. What's on tap for earnings obviously Monday uh Pinterest Tyson Tuesday hurts Chipotle Wednesday yum Uber Disney uh Thursday Pepsi PayPal The main one I'm gonna be watching is Disney but I kind of also know I want to know what PayPal is going to be talking about? Uh, just because I feel like a lot of people have stopped using PayPal because it's just a company that's been pissing a lot of people off. So I want to know what's happening there trending to break.
Even so, this is some big commentary from Elon Musk about Twitter It looks like they're even doing some new do new deals for the Super Bowl advertising I Think it's something like you spend 250 000 in advertising, you can get another 250 000 free. so it's kind of like a buy one get one on Twitter Um, so we could talk about this later when maybe things calm down a bit, but we'll check it out on his Twitter Uh but basically what you need to know is last three months were extremely tough as had to save Twitter from bankruptcy while fulfilling essential Tesla and SpaceX duties. Wouldn't wish that pain on anyone. and then he kind of continued saying we're trending towards break even so he didn't say that Twitter is Break Even Obviously there's been a big Financial shakeup. There's a lot of advertisers pulled out, but also new advertisers are coming in and there's also new I Guess really Revenue generating sources that we have that the Twitter blue or whatever the blue thing that people are now paying for. So there's various things I Just want to hear more about Vine if you're asking me, I Think one of the biggest things that could be massively intriguing in Twitter is the relaunch of Vine because even now as much of a joke it as it is, the Chinese weather balloon or whatever you want to call it uh, that is continuing to increase tensions between the US and China and there was already tensions of people watching Tick Tock and should we use it? Obviously we know it's basically malware and we all know that we're selling all of our data through this for free to China. So there's been more of a political pushback against Tick Tock which in my opinion is really opening the door for Vine. It's another looping short form content platform.
Uh, Twitter owns it, they bought it, then it was out there for a bit. Then they just kind of killed it they said. and they just like whatever didn't have the resources wasn't generating enough money. But I think right now we're in a situation where I would in no way be surprised if in the U.S Tick Tock gets murked and then Vine is the one that replaces it.
So kind of giving us a blast from the past. When was Vine really big? Circa like 2013 Almost like a decade ago? Um so I'm on the lookout for Vine coming back out. Maybe I'm being a little bit optimistic. Maybe I'm being just a little bit sentimental.
but I think Vine has a real opportunity here. Turkey earthquake kills hundreds. Weird amount of earthquakes going on. so it unfortunately an earthquake really hit Turkey.
Lives were lost. Very very sad. But then I was reading this morning that some hit like Buffalo New York apparently there was just an earthquake there. If anyone's from the area I Would love for you to check in, just tell us what's going on if we have any boots on the ground.
Uh so some crazy crazy stuff. um earthquakes. multiple earthquakes happening. obviously very damaging.
so I hope everyone is safe very much. Beyonce sets a record yet again. Beyonce was denied album of the year at Sunday night's Grammy Awards But that didn't stop her from making history the Superstar who's about to kick off major tours that has ticker Master Bracing for big demand. So um, she has now won the most Grammys in history 32 which is just crazy. Uh, but kind of talking more about the Ticketmaster It's kind of now public knowledge that Ticketmaster is essentially a monopoly I mean we all know how much they mess things up with. Taylor Swift and like the connection with Ticketmaster Live Nation it's a pure Monopoly It's crazy and it is now being looked into by the government. So I question how long that's going to keep going? hey? Manny Thanks for defending my honor yesterday. LOL Now we are a little closer to a solid 20.
what's going on? Christine I Appreciate that? Uh yeah, we're almost at 20 between my best video ever and that Rumble Ran I Truly appreciate it. Um, for people who are seeing the Ortex squeeze signal for whatever AMC ape whatever you're looking at, understand if you see a squeeze signal and it says type 1 type 2 type 3 that is not an increasing strength. It's not like type 2 is better than type 1, Type 3 is better than type 2. it's simply a different type.
They do basic like they've looked into different forms of data mining and they're like, hey, when this pattern has happened, we've seen it. When this pattern has happened, we've seen it. It's not saying one is better or stronger, or more likely, it's just saying it's a different one. So that's all it means.
It's It's a squeeze signal the way they've defined it, but it's a different type of one. It's not like type three is better than type two, or type 2 is better than type one. So just for anyone, maybe seeing that, any confusion there, just wanted to throw that out there. But with all that being said, the bell's about to go.
I'm of the opinion that the Market's been very, very strong. but I think it's due for some form of a pullback in kind of like the multi-day time frame. uh, today individually for the day traders in here I am personally watching this upside Gap fill to 41109 for 1109? where would that be? let me Mark that out for 1109 right there. Uh, so that would be the upside Gap fill Target Uh, whatever you guys want to watch, let me know there's some charts I Want to go over dignity? ding ding ding The casino is open.
Best of luck to all. Be safe if not have fun! Matt 1671 just happens to be enough to subscribe to my reverse only fans. It's where I send pics of my balls and Gooch to people until they pay me to stop this combat Carl By the way, if YouTube your reverse only fans I like that. that's a it's a very creative idea to say the least.
as of now I have no active positions on um I was doing a little bit of soul searching and I want to always be as honest as I can with you so today you might have noticed it on Friday but for all of January I was doing full day streams and I wanted to test it out for a month and sometimes not all of your tests work and the biggest thing I saw with the all-day stream is being here I think myself I kind of got bored at times and I was getting into a lot of Trades that I should not have been getting into. and also there was other 10 gentle things that were being negatively impact by the fact that I was missing a lot of business calls because when you stream from nine to four you're only opening in normal business hours is from four to five. Um, so with that it was a test. I wanted to see if it worked out and it unfortunately just actually was not as good as it should have been. So what I plan on doing now is I'm gonna do these morning streams the market open with you and also some Power Hour kind of just like either educational streams or we could start a big Twitter space call and we could all just talk about what's going on. um, but with it I think it'll also afford me the opportunity of when I was streaming all day I was almost getting a little bit too focused on day trading and in reality the shorter your time frame the more. Randomness also less money because you can only move a certain amount in a day. but now if you're talking about multiple days, there could be bigger movers.
So what I want to do is still do my day trades where I like them in the morning and in the afternoon and skip that really crappy midday session. but then in the midday session I'll be able to better utilize other platforms such as whatever Twitter or locals and talk about more multi-day swing setups. So yes, I want to keep going, especially with the real robot trades from the morning session in the afternoon session and then in the middle of the day where probably we shouldn't be day trading I'll be able to use that opportunity to see certain setups that I'm interested in. For example, I was doing some chart review over the weekend I Kind of like the idea of going against gold either.
you could be aggressive this is GLD you could be aggressive and buy puts or you could be a little bit more conservative and just sell call Credit spreads or just engage in call Credit spreads just Target whatever 180 182 spread it by 185. But just the chance I mean gold. It's ripped too much. it's time for a breather and maybe you're like, well, I don't know if it's actually going to sell, but I Also, don't see it coming back up here in the very short term.
That's exactly when you would want to engage in a call Credit spread. And it's those types of things that they're not necessarily day trades. Well, they're definitely not day trades. but I I love those because really, that's where to me the best risk reward scenarios are set up because even in the day trades where I'm like oh lit, your winners ride like follow the trend.
Well, obviously there's even bigger trends when you're talking about the daily time frame. So I think what I really want to do is use that midday session to kind of better have control over a swing portfolio. So I'm still going to do those like robotic data intraday trades the day trades uh, on the Futures account. But I think it's time that we really, really hone in on better methodologies of selling premium and also maybe if we wanted to generally getting to like some spy calls or some Tesla calls or whatever just options in general, that is more of a multi-day swing because I know that day trading is not everyone's cup of tea. so that's going to be kind of the midday session. Obviously I'll be posting all that stuff on uh over there on locals or whatever on Discord or something like that. Um, but just want to keep everyone apprised of the situation. and who knows, maybe I'll just use that time to make more of my best videos ever.
That trade that give me 15 in payment is AMC still on the threshold list I Believe so. but remember that doesn't mean anything too special. It's interesting to know what the threshold list is, but we've seen it on the threshold list before and it's not like anything really happens. So as of Friday's close AMC was on it, but ape is not.
so uh, more funky things going on with AMC than Ape just from a threshold list perspective. but you can check it after the market closes. So the most recent market closed was obviously Friday and yes, AMC was still there. but does it really matter to anyone Kobe you're an AMC shell Well that's funny because I also get accused of being a Wall Street chill against AMC So what is it I know Okay, so Kobe thinks I'm Shilling for AMC I guarantee someone has to be in chat that thinks I'm Shilling against AMC So if we can identify someone who's in that like second bucket like someone in chat right now has to hate me because you think I don't support AMC enough.
Um, and I would love for you to have a discussion of Kobe and I want to see like I want you two to fight it out and see what's going on because how could I simultaneously be a show for AMC initial against AMC I'm gonna ask that you were Shilling in the middle of AMC now I'm a middle of the road AMC Schiller your shielding Shields The problem is that you don't trust Adam Aaron Does anyone I think if you okay I want to try to say this in a way that it's like explicitly clear of where I stand on that if you trust Adam Aaron you stupid You see that like it's an if then statement. If you trust Adam Aaron then you're stupid. You see that follow through there. If you trust this dude who is an absolute soup who is at one point sold all of his AMC shares when it was ripping just a lot.
He personally profited 40 million dollars by selling all of the stock he had at that moment in time and now he goes on Twitter he's like I'm not gonna still because he can't sell because he wrote in his own bylaws of he has to hold so much stock at a certain point of time like he would be selling if he could. We just saw the CFO sold all of almost all of his ape uh at the end of last week on February the second, the CFO Sean Goodman so like they're all they do is sell the AMC board in 2022 sold a hundred million dollars worth of AMC stock like but that's just crazy I I Know these the the people who support Adam Aaron you and I'm not saying you have to be against them, but there's three options here. Just because you don't support someone doesn't mean you have to be against them. You could be indifferent and be like hey, I just hope he does what's like best for me. You can be that I think most people it's smart to be in that middle bucket of just like kind of like a trust but verified type of a Vibe of like I don't really trust the guy, but I don't also distrust them, like just be be indifferent to it, take in the factual information as it develops. Uh, just once again. to be clear, if you don't trust them, that's fine. but you don't also don't have to distrust them.
You could just think of them as what he is. a random person you've never ever met and probably will never meet. and also why? Like who cares if you mean them or not? Um, I Would say the smart logical way is just be taking every piece of information and judge it for what it is like. I wouldn't be absurdly against them.
but I also definitely wouldn't be like these weird sycophants. But does anyone notice that that the weirdest thing going on is the people who have like an outpouring of support for them are just nameless faceless accounts. Like they all have like stupid fucking names. uh like AMC short Destroyer like wall Street's nightmare.
uh like I love Adam Aaron more than I do my own wife at whatever like it's it's all weird. like there's no actual real person with their actual picture actual name saying yeah Okay, like this is the guy I'm getting beyond that doesn't exist. They're all nameless faceless. Like weird accounts.
Like they're They're weird sycophants. It doesn't make sense. They're all accounts that were made in like 21 22 and they're just like like shorts. Destroyer I Hate gasparado.
Like just weird shit like that. but whatever. In a weird way. I Think you can view it as if he is a greedy individual that could be beneficial to people who are long on.
AMC Because if he's greedy, obviously he makes more money if the stock goes up so sometimes it could align and that's important. But that doesn't mean you should be like stoked about everything going on. I mean look at what happened with Hymc I Am of the opinion that the SEC needs to investigate that deal because he was basically just like lining his buddy's pocket like a personal friend's pocket and I wouldn't be surprised if he got a back door payment. The Hymc deal is very very suspect.
If you are happy with the Hymc deal, you're just wrong. There's no like a lot of retail got fucked on. The Hymc deal like that was super super sketchy for various reasons. If you made money on it, you were an active Trader and I congratulate you I congratulate you for ideally like being quick on your toes. but for people who like just bought Hymc because Adam Aaron Associated his name with it and you're still holding it your dad on a shitload of money. Hymc was stupid. The Nicole Kidman commercial. Stupid.
That was like over 25 million dollars Or 20 million. It was many million. Uh, fucking dumb. You could have bought like any random model in La Like paid them to do a commercial you didn't need Nicole Kidman Uh, that's like just talk about fucking wasting money.
Um, there's random things that like they just don't add up. Uh, they don't add up and I think they need to be looked into a little bit more. Matt Squeeze Place Aside: do you think AMC has long-term potential If they can take care of their debt? They have 5.3 billion in debt currently. Right now, they are a debt rating company that is not trending in the right direction.
Um, that could change. Obviously, shrewd business moves can greatly improve that opportunity. But that's just not like if you were to take a snapshot of where we are right now. they their cash burn isn't good, their debt isn't good, they're just not trending in the right way.
And that's almost representative by the fact that the board is currently scrambling to push Ape back into AMC And they're doing that because they want to raise Capital That's what they're doing is like this whole ape AMC merger thing. It's an opportunity for the company to raise more money via dilution to take care of their debt problem. They're looking at it as a fundamental Improvement but understand if you dilute it. It's not good for people who are looking for a short squeeze, so it's it's up to you to decide what camp you're in.
Are you now in AMC As a long-term investor or are you a person who is still looking for a short sweets? it's up to you. I'm not saying what's right or wrong, but I mean it's just your own Viewpoint your own advantage point on the situation. It is nice that it finally got out of its downward Trend I Don't know if you guys have seen the daily chart of AMC recently. Uh, but with the market pop it also started to pick up.
Came back had a higher low broke above it. so just from a market structure standpoint I Love the fact that it's knocking on the door of 650. If it does that, the next push will be up to the previous support of above seven. Uh, it's looking a little bit of ahead of itself every single time it gets to the top of the Keltner Channel It requires either a big smack or just even a little bit of consolidation.
So right here we went up. We just came down. Consolidated Recently we went up. so I don't think this particular move has much more legs to it.
Uh, but once again, it could just do what it did before. come down, consolidate a little bit. uh, lit. the kind of technicals cool off and let it rip again. I'm not really in the game of short-term price prediction on AMC because that is silly that it just doesn't really matter. Uh Blake you're wrong. Dilution is good AMC rips almost every time. Historically, this is fact.
Um, what do you call a fact that's wrong Fact: You sound like one of those people who goes up and tries to do like a college kid that's trying to debate like a political speaker on College campaign. Be like this is fact. uh, you're just wrong. I don't even know.
like how do I like that would be like me just coming in and saying the sun is cold. that's fact. Like how do you respond to it be like okay, well it's not so I I don't Blake I don't I joke. you're wrong I don't know.
Look it up. What you should do is find all the SEC filings of when they announce dilution and you'll realize that AMC trended down until they announced that the dilution was over and then AMC popped on the announcement that dilution was over. But there's been no point in the past couple years that AMC has said we're diluting and the Stock's gone up. That hasn't happened.
The announcements of dilution have pushed the stock down. not just most of the times, but literally all of the times. And then there's people like you who you read like see this is the issue with how Adam Aaron is using his Twitter is he's very. He's never lied which is so interesting.
Like he's very careful with his words. which basically means a lawyer has reviewed everything he says, which that's probably what you do when you're a CEO So I don't blame him for that. Um, but you could tell he says things in such a way that it's like kind of high level and it can be interpreted in multiple ways where there's people who know about the markets like these animals and stuff and they're like wow, that's like kind of fucked up. He's saying it that way because he's not technically wrong.
But then there's a lot of his followers who are just people who are uninformed about the market. Their Market careers are relatively new, so they like they're at the point where they just haven't had enough time dealing in Market things to know what they don't know. Um, so he said that about it. he's like, look, it's gone up every single time after dilution and people take him at his word.
but that's not really what he means he's talking about when you complete the Lucian He's also talking about crazy scenarios of when it was squeezing to begin with because of the whole Gme which led to momentum for AMC Like there were so many other things that he made it seem as if just them announcing dilution would push the stock up. but Blake I'm still talking to you for any company for any company in the world Blake Litz Blake Are you still in here because I like I want to present a question to you that maybe it'll make you look at this in like a better way if it were true. but it is not true. But if it were true, that delusion pushes the stock up, why would you not just endlessly dilute? Like don't you think that that would be some sort of cheat code of like fuck man, if delusion pushes our stock up, why don't we just dilute forever? Like if your theory is correct, which it is not correct but if it were correct, why wouldn't AMC or every company just always endlessly dilute? That's the cheat code to wall or to Wall Street Based on your theory, you see how like when you just add like a little bit of logic to it, you're like oh okay, yeah that that doesn't quite make sense. If it always pushed up, we would just always dilute. That's the cheat code. Uh I said it's a pattern, not a tactic, but also your pattern's wrong. You said it's a fact that it's gone up and it it actually hasn't gone up.
That's why companies aren't diluted endlessly. because every person who understands High School levels supply and demand of Economics You understand that whenever you increase Supply it pushes the price down. If demand is held constant in the moment that you're diluting. Let's just say demand is constant.
We don't know if it's going up or down, but we do know Supply is increasing What happens when you increase supply and demand stays the same price has to come down. That you're saying price goes up when you increase Supply Like it just doesn't make sense. You're literally breaking basic rules of supply and demand. Hello I'm a data analyst, not an economist.
Uh, if you're a data analyst I'm very very scared for whatever company you work for. I would I would have some questions I would definitely have some questions it someone might want to do like a QA check on your work. You're a data analyst and you're trying to redefine the laws of supply and demand. Dude.
Dangerous. foreign. you guys are hitting me with those facts. You hit him he.
you got me good with those facts. uh I stopped trusting Adam Aaron when it revealed that he what gave this is like the same argument. imagine it has like the same Vibes of uh what was it I I was the re I was the risk department for FTX Do you see how that doesn't really give you credentials? I was I did risk for FTX uh Tom Nash I'm here for my morning updates. Well Tom I'm happy that you're stopping by.
so a very a fair question for you. We're actively debating this in chat right now. Tom You know a lot more about stock markets and the economy than I do. for those of you who don't know about Tom Nash Uh, he is a fellow.
Finance Creator Very very smart dude. Tom this is what we're actively debating. Someone in chat told me that when they dilute AMC the price goes up. I'm of the opinion that when you dilute a stock, the supply goes up so price has to come down.
Uh, because I You know, just think that's a basic rule of Economics Tom Which one are you on do when a company dilutes, does price typically go up or does it typically go down? Uh, just asking a question to another fellow Finance creator I I've Blaken here, who is an alleged data analyst, says that dilution pushes the stock up I A person who took economics in 10th Grade and think that it the price the latter Macro 101 Supply demand. It's like physics. can't argue against it. sorry. Well, Blake can argue against it and I'd love to come to a vantage point or some sort of I don't know I want to see eye to eye with Blake and I want to better understand it and I think his reasoning is that Adam Aaron just told him that's how it works foreign Mullen a stock that I'm not the most happy with, but it's moving. It's an active trade. This is never a stock I would invest in trailing stop loss I Don't you've been talking about it for a while so I'm assuming your cost basis is in this way, way lower. Um move.
however you define a trend. Whatever it is whether using uh, candles or whether using EMAs or smas like however you define a trim, move your trailing stop loss up if you are up money right now on. Mullen Understand that you are lucky, but that's awesome. Like sometimes it's better to be lucky in the markets than it is skillful.
You're riding a trend up. Just keep moving your trailing stop loss with you I don't know how high this is gonna go if I look at the fundamentals the financial situation of Mullen It's telling me that this company will most likely not survive, but that doesn't mean it can't be a great active trade. This isn't my style I'm not playing it. You kind of bought this flag pennant breakout or that's when I think you were really asking about it again.
just keep writing it up. Write it up. Write it up. Write it up if it turns kind of like it did in here.
If it starts to turn similar to Thursday uh, the 12th Friday the 13th see how it was like it ripped, showed a little bit of weakness. it was choppy. Then it showed some weakness. That's where I would be like okay, maybe I need to lock it in.
So this thing could easily be a high mover. A great mover. It's a great active trade, but I'm putting an emphasis on active trade. This isn't something you just buy and hope it works out.
It's a shitty penny stock. That's what it is. You can make a lot of money off shitty penny stocks, but if you're investing in shitty penny stocks, it's probably gonna be a net negative on your account. There are of course Diamonds in the Rough penny stocks that end up becoming massive legitimate companies, but understand you're talking about an odd scenario that is so infinitesimally small that it's not worthwhile to play if you're in it.
Mullen's looking good. It's looking strong. It's really been moving. I Have to try and ride the train.
Ride the trend. If you think it's turning, take your money and leave as quickly as you humanly can, you should be putting your trailing stop loss at break. Even as soon as it moves like a decent amount in your favor, set your trailing stop loss. worst case scenario: to break. Even so you don't lose any money, it's all about I think a lot of the times and you see this a lot in the world of penny stocks is people kind of get visions of grandeur of like oh, but like it's at 40 cents. Like what if it goes to four dollars and like I'm gonna like end up 10xing my investment like okay, yeah, it's possible but it also could just fall basically back down to zero. so you should care. Like really honestly, with any active trade or investment, what's your risk, ask yourself your risk first.
So like right now, if you're in Mullen What? If you're chasing it today, What's your risk? It's at 42.50 42 cents? 0.5 Where are you going after that? Like what's your risk? Like how far would it have to fall for you to be like oh crap. I Mean it doesn't sound like a far fall to 35 cents or 30 cents, but understand that's a big percentage. So if you were to invest a hundred dollars, Five hundred dollars, A thousand dollars? Well okay, do you want to stomach a 30 drop if you invest a thousand dollars? Are you okay with losing 300 at what is your risk? It's a great active trade, but that's what it is. Uh I Have not heard one decent argument of why Mullins an investment if you want to invest in that sector.
EV There are many, many better options than Mullen as an EV investment which is very different than a day trade which is very different than a swing trade which is very different than like a medium term swing trade. Um, we all trade with different accounts with different risk tolerance. In terms of Personality we all trade with I Guess really just different goals of when we all trade with different profit targets like you do what's appropriate for you. but on any of those if you're a person who's doing a little minute scalps all the way up to the longest term investors, the one thing that's going to hold true for all of you is ask yourself your risk.
If you're not focusing like your, your first three questions should be: what's my risk? What's my risk? What's my risk? Those should be your first three questions for any form of a trade or investment. and I think sometimes we get these penny stocks that are ripping out of it like random places. I suppose that like they're almost ripping out of nowhere that people don't ask themselves that they. First of all, they get in and they're like, okay, like I think it could go this High which that's fine.
You should ask yourself that eventually. but your first three questions should be what's my risk? What's my risk? What's my risk? Those should be your first three questions with my opinion on Lucid I Think they have a really nice looking car and I know that probably has not much to do with its stock as an investment or anything but I think the Lucid vehicle is a good looking vehicle. Over the weekend I filmed a video of the most expensive cars ever sold in auction. so obviously those cars are kind of cool and then, uh, for whatever reason the article linked to just like the New Age EV vehicles and Lucid was on one of them and I was looking at it's a good looking car and that probably doesn't really help you much with your question I guess I just want to throw that out there I Also really do like to truck the look of the Cyber truck. the Tesla cyber truck I know um at first I didn't really like it I don't know why it just like wasn't necessarily my cup of tea but something about it. Something about it for sure. The more I look at the Tesla cyber truck the more I like it. Rivian.
Rivian's a good looking one. I've actually seen one of those in person. uh actually right before I moved to New York Uh I think Rivian struck. It's a good looking truck too I I think that's what's kind of fun of not all but a lot of the new Eevee ones they have like kind of a futuristic Vibe and like aesthetic to them that I appreciate.
uh AMC getting rejected hard at 6 50. Amazon this is the one I want it I've been so in terms of a swing trade I was doing some chart reviews over the weekend. uh Gold's looking a little weak to me so I'm even thinking about puts or selling a credit spread. but the other one that I was thinking looked weak was Amazon Amazon The queues got a downside and an upside Gap fill today a rare double Gap fill scenario upside to 304.54 and downside to 303.43 So no matter what Gap though you played on the cues the NASDAQ this morning, you would have got that for the active day.
Traders Spy coming back around Tesla I don't know I'm just waiting for that to make some sort of decision. I I Want do I want him? How bad do I want Amazon puts do I Want Amazon puts or do I want NASDAQ puts I mean the fact that Amazon has been this week I Don't know I'm just seeing relative weakness in Amazon Long on gold I Just think there's an over extension this year. Like if you're asking me about my thoughts on gold for 2023, I would be long on it I'm just saying right now I think there's too much of a push to the upside. So I'm looking for some sort of pullback.
so if you want to play that in a conservative way, you could just sell a call Credit spread. So even if it does nothing, you still end up like skimming some premium uh, can you just go full-on anti-amc and Purge of the bitter bag holders? Well, I'm not anti-amc so I can't really do that I'm still very supportive of this retail movement I am anti-opium and copium and a lot of people talking about something that they have no fucking clue. And I'm also against this psychology like this cult-like idea that Adam Aaron is an amazing human and we should just fully trust him and whatever he does is good for us. There's a lot of people specifically on Twitter that's where. like right now, there's the main density of just let's call them super dumb fucks. Uh, because that's what they are. They are not your like ordinary run-of-the-mill dumb fucks. They are like a dumb fuck at like a higher level like you know how in Dragon Ball Z Goku goes Super Saiyan but like he starts out as a good fighter.
well I think on Twitter there's like your dumb fucks but then some of them when they're fighting Frieza they like they morph into another level and they go from dumb fuck to like super dumb fuck. Um so it's kind of crazy and it's those people who I think are I think they're damaging to the movement like I think they're like a legitimate embarrassment and uh, media sees that and they're like what are these people talking about like they give the whole movement a very bad look when I believe that we're fighting for legitimate things such as why is there a lot of I guess delay in FTD reporting Why is there so much opaqueness in the reporting? What's going on with market makers to controlling the whole situation? Why do we have pattern day training? Why are shorts not reported in the 13 F D's G's or any of that like. There are things that I wholeheartedly believe to my core. think that it if retail were represented on a fair transparent plane within Wall Street It would actually make markets better.
but then you have people who like are allegedly part of it and they're somehow associated with this legitimate movement. And then they just talk about shit that they have no clue about and they're like they're an embarrassment. They're nothing but an embarrassment. And I think it's actually damaging to the overall retail investor movement.
So to be anti-amc I mean I'm not going to do that because I Believe still. Amp AMC is symbolically representative of this retail investor movement. But that doesn't mean I have to support the dumb shit that I Am Aaron says or the dumb shit that all these like nameless faceless accounts like post on Twitter I think we can be realistic about it like 100 percent uh, A A does one AMC to moas he loses. In the end, it's not his long-term interest.
Adam Aaron's long-term interest was never to have the stock squeeze like his He's literally employed to try to make the long-term trajectory of the company better. Um, sometimes that overlaps with what the shorts or what the short squeeze? What the Apes want for the people who are hunting for shorts? Because sometimes that overlaps. but not every time. Uh, when I entered AMC I assumed that someone like A would actually want to help and do all they can uh to save the company from the shorts AK Screw them up Back: Yeah, but he hasn't.
He has adopted somewhat of the culture of talking about like apes and donating 50 Grand like the dude donates 50 Grand to an ape cause and everyone thinks that he's like the most hardcore ape. but in reality he also made 40 million off of selling AMC stocks. so like he's an ape when it benefits him to publicly say those things. So he's like I'm gonna donate 15 grand so he'll do that to make the Apes think that he's on their side when in reality if he was a real ape, why did he sell at one point all of the stock that he could sell so like? That's my issue with them is it's he's a guy who's really into smoke and mirrors I'm like look over here, look over here I'm doing things that you guys should like, but in reality the truth is like some of this other shit that's going on like we get these tweets of him over the weekend I don't know I'm just more choke on that type of bullshit he's fighting with Marco hodis blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and then in reality what's happening behind closed doors is Sean Goodman The cefo of the company sold almost all of his ape. so like on February 2nd, he went from 82 000 shares of ape to 4 000. I'm by no means arguing that the magnitude of the number matters I Don't care, it's the fact that he sold such a big percentage when if you believe in your own company, why are you selling? Uh, people got really mad like it's not even that big. My point: It doesn't matter the dollar values. why do we have Executives and members of the board selling as much as they can at any opportunity? If they believe in what they're doing, that's what I don't get at all if inherently I rely on people being greedy I Rely on Adam Aaron being greedy I rely on Sean Goodman and the rest of the board Being Greedy So if they are greedy, you would think that they want to make the most money possible if they want to make the most money possible.
Well, if they think the Stock's going to go up, why wouldn't they just hold the stock Like does no one else find that weird? I Just trust in people to be greedy. So to be greedy, you're trying to at any moment in time, make the most money possible. So why are they choosing to sell now and not later? As in, it signals to the world that they don't have faith in where things are going. Of course it's weird.
Yeah, and like what's kind of fun for me is seeing the people trying to do mental gymnastics to try to like argue why it's like not bad or my favorite ones are when they try to argue that it's good, that's that's the best one. they like somehow try to argue that it's really, really good. Uh, if the rats are leaving the ship map, be sure the ship is sinking. Yeah, it's probably a good vibe, so that's for sure.
AAS Sleight of hand. What's weirder is of his celeb tour of theaters which adds a total of zero in value to the company. Imagine the CEO just doing that wasting their time. You guys never reminded me to stand up this morning, which is kind of messed up.
Oh Stan folks standstan can we get the Ortex on a uh yeah, that one has really been able to ride the recent phenomena of like AI interest. Um so C3 AI Just so you guys know, this has nothing to do with chat GPT if you want. Right now, the only real way to get direct exposure to chat GPT is through Microsoft Because Microsoft is invested in Chat Gbt, this is just another AI company short interest of 12.35 utilization of 57.5 cost of our borrow pretty low. This isn't that heavily of a shorty company. This doesn't seem to be a short. Squeeze Play It seems to be just like a Fomo AI Popularity play I Don't think this is this is Fomo chasing yeah like. And of course there could be some shorts who are getting squeezed out. but the cost of hours load the utilization is low.
This isn't like a low flow Mega Squeeze Play This is a Fomo play and obviously hey it's going up like for you guys, like if you're playing it, you're still making money to you. It doesn't matter if it's Fomo or like, um, a squeeze play or anything like going up is going up, it's all the same money. Um, so I just wanted to point that out that it's nothing too too crazy. but hey, it's still moving I have no exposure to it I Just by the time I realize how crazy things were going, it was way too late to the party it would be chasing.
uh, at least by the way I Define it. But if you feel like you have some sort of system or methodology that's still advantageous in certain moments such as this, we'll have Adam in have at it once, AMC is over and you're done. Your channel will die. um.
I Literally just posted my best video of all time. So what what are you talking about? I've gone days, weeks and months without talking about AMC if there's no news, if there's nothing going on with AMC I'm not going to waste time talking about it like who the fuck wants to talk about something that's not moving at all? Uh, but how is that possible if I literally just posted my best video of all all time I I Don't I Don't understand that the AMC shows are sad. They're probably sad. probably.
uh, spy wants the Gap fill Uh, I think so. That's why we like to call him out here because just the odds are they going to hit 100 of the time? No. but on days like today, it looks like we have kind of a cup and handle situation. Uh, actually was I supposed to trade yet today? I forgot No.
Okay, I'm just wondering. the robot? Nope. no signal yet today. no signals yet today.
