Eternal Sunshine breaks advice to Golden Age to start to counterweight I Wish that you would stay wait for way too late, a mouse to shut four days like to call it out I Don't think we can escape. Thank you Satan Baby again brother hello hello hello we coming in loud and clear. Can you guys hear me? Is it working? Are we back? It's been forever I Feel like we've been broken up, you know, on a break with each other for a minute. But we had a talk, a late night talk and we've decided to do this thing again and I'm excited to be here, folks! Not only is it a brand new week, it's a brand new month.
It's a brand new quarter and we're already kind of kicking it off with some exciting news. So there's some strange developments going on with my McDonald's We'll be talking about that. We got Tesla's delivery numbers. Oil is going crazy so all oil stocks are going crazy.
We're going to be talking about that one a little bit about the Strategic petroleum. Reserve We have to talk about the Fed and all the speeches this week and also some public service announcements. For example, the Market's closed. Friday An observation of Good Friday So it's a four day trading week.
Just so everyone knows, we have a lot going on. We have a Lot. A lot A lot A lot a lot going on. Um, and we did miss some important information last week.
unfortunately I wasn't able to stream I was supposed to be flying during the stream in the morning, but when I got to the airport in Sarasota they're all like, um, the crew rest isn't where it needs to be so you're gonna have to like sit for a little bit I was like well, how far back is this gonna like push everything because I have a connecting flight in Charlotte and the people at American were all like uh, like half hour like we have a whole different crew coming in. it's gonna be like no issue whatsoever and I'm like sweet, that sounds awesome and then we waited the half hour. the new Crews there they got off a different flight and I guess they're swapping out the crew and then they noticed that the doors completely broke on the plane and they're like oh, we should probably fix that before flying 30 000 feet in the air and everyone's like yeah, yeah, that makes sense and at this point they're like kind of pushing things back where it gets like a little close and then all of a sudden I think like if you had a connecting flight within like two hours of it originally like everyone had to get rebooked and that was the slowest process ever to like get in line right now and we were there for like an hour and a half. Like that whole weight was just people trying to fix their connecting flight.
So I got a connecting flight and they're like nope, it's gonna be perfect. You're gonna land the gates right where you're Landing like you just go over one or two. you're gonna hop on the flight and you're gonna be good to go. What they don't tell you about that at all at all at all is because of FAA Regulations: You have to shut the doors. Whatever I don't know 10 15 minutes before the flight is supposed to take off. So even though I was there technically on time because of regulations, they have to shut the door, they have to lock it and that all happened when I was still on the plane. So even though the people at American are just so stoked and like nope, you're gonna be fine, No issue. we're sorry about the delay.
we're gonna get you on the flight. You're totally not gonna miss your friend's wedding whatsoever. They just don't know what they're talking about and they're just gonna say like whatever they possibly can. So like in the middle of all this folks, it's not with any ounce of I suppose humility that I'm telling you this: I went full on Karen Like this whole debacle with American there's probably a legitimate shot that I will never be able to fly American again.
like I'm probably on some sort of list with them I'm like, yeah, like he's not really a troublemaker. he's just like an I'm probably on Americans list of like. we just don't want to deal with them. It was wild at every single turn so not only like when I the FAA one when I like I went there and I got to the second place for the connecting flight I was like yeah but it didn't take off.
can I get on like regulations I was like yeah but like this is kind of like your fault. you know because they try to blame it on me. they're like well you have to be here earlier I was like I would have loved to be here earlier in fact I was ready I was at the other airport I had eight in the morning like I wanted to be there but it's because of you guys that I'm not here. it's like what do you mean it's because of you guys I was like it's because you're a multi-billion dollar company that can't calculate crew rest and and you can't get a mechanic to show up on time I would have trust me brother I would have loved to been here on time and you guys basically lied to me and they're like when did we lie to you I was like well when you said that I would be here on time but in reality I was still in the other plane like because I only picked this flight because you told me to pick it like it's All-American and they're like if you're gonna keep talking to us like that, you're gonna have to go talk to the other people and I was like well, that's weird because you're shitty at your job and because you don't know how to communicate and you're pretty much useless.
And it was that final part when I called him useless that like they stopped listening to me then I had to go and then I just like made some offhanded commentary about his man and I was like so you're telling me as a grown man, you can't handle your problems yourself and you have to offload me to someone else because like you're being mentally obtuse I used mentally obtuse which is probably the biggest douchebag thing to say like in retrospect it just like came out and I said what I said I I was like what was the exact sentence I said are you intentionally being obtuse or are you really not following what's going on here. And in retrospect, if I were to critique my own carrying when you're being a Karen you can't come out of the gate with words like obtuse like if you're gonna be a good Karen you have to keep it at like fourth grade level like commentary so everyone's in on it. If you just start slinging out a little bit more rare words like this, you lose the audience. So anyone who is within earshot supporting me I Feel like I lost my supporters within the airport because half of them are like wait, did he just call him obtuse Is he saying that this guy's a triangle and I looked around and they're like we're not ready for geometry class and like I don't know Honestly now that I've had some time to reflect on It In the Heat of the Moment I thought I did well I was like dude Matt that was a B plus Karen like action good for you. it was like B plus solid stuff but looking on it now if I were really to give myself a report it was a C it like I'm gonna be honest with all of you, it was a it was a straight up average performance I could have done better I like I wasn't reading my audience well I didn't know the room well and I I didn't like I didn't do anything necessarily to hurt my momentum but I didn't do anything particularly to help my momentum. if you know like it was just I don't know there's always going to be next time because when you're dealing with Airlines especially shitty companies like American there's always going to be a next time. You should see my DMs with them back and forth they like I publicly tweeted something really what I was trying to do was track down the new CEO and then just start talking him on Twitter and they're like oh just DM us and I like was hidden back at them publicly I was like is it awkward to fail so many times even though you're trying? So then they DM me and they're like we're gonna get you in contact with a Specialists So now I'm dming an American specialist who's reviewing my case and then I call that person useless too and they didn't like that? that would have been better. that would have been better verbiage publicly I feel like I had my good hits digitally and it just doesn't have the same bite to it like I wanted the crown like I wanted the crowd to start cheering and be like I wanted to start like a like just everyone like we're not flying American we're going over to Delta like something like that like in my mind I pictured the whole like everyone in the American terminal just to revolt and be like we're going to Delta we're going to United we're going to Southwest down with American Airlines We want Liberty We want freedom and we want our flights on time.
but it didn't go that way. it didn't go that way actually at all. an airport Revolution that's what I was going for and it just I wasn't close to it this time. I'll be honest, you know you guys come here for a little bit of honesty and I can't I can't truly say that I like I crushed him because I didn't I think I came over a little bit too hot with the obtuse comment and he's like a triangle. Why is this kid calling me in? Triangle We're not letting him on the flight and we're definitely not letting him on the flight now that he's like referring to us as shapes. so I don't know it happens next time. next time next time. But we ended up getting there.
Shout out Christina Maddie time to read your book again I've been looking forward for this rant all weekend. The flight was one thing and in a weird way it kind of takes away like the amazing success that it was to be there with Rumble So for those of you who missed it Thursday morning and Thursday evening we had exclusive specialty streams on Rumble If you are on YouTube right now and you're thinking to yourself but like where was this kid like what's going on, um go check those out, they're on Rumble uh Thursday There was a morning stream with a massive announcement. uh there was a huge huge announcement that I feel like you should just go watch it. uh because I don't want to let the cat out of the bag like there was a lot of visuals involved but huge announcement that was the Thursday morning stream and then Thursday evening I Interviewed Chris Pavlowski the CEO of Rumble to talk about the recent quarter and also the recent year, but this is their first full quarter as a publicly trading company and then we also had insights to the numbers for the like last like fiscal year.
So just to talk about that and the big announcements, they now have Partnerships with uh, Street League Skateboarding SLS and then Nitro Rallycross, Nrx and obviously they are still very successful with Dana White's Powerslap and then also what's going on with the UFC and they have a little bit of a partnership going on there you can see the tab on the top and that actually brings us a little bit to today's news of the WWE and UFC is now combining as a company all under like Endeavor and we could go into the details but a multi-billion dollar deal? Uh, now going in that world so that's going to be exciting but just to be there I mean there was like there was a lot of times where they had to Silo me into my own room because they were talking about non-public information and they know that not only am I in the world of Finance but I own Rumble so they're like yeah no you can't like hear this at all but just to see like the chaos and the energy and they're like okay here's like version 18 send that to the lawyers that good or like can we say this and then like they're like oh should we wear this this way should we put this at the start of the call at the end of the call just to see the chaos of like a multi-billion dollar company getting their earnings all together I Just thought it was so incredibly cool I thought it was so incredibly fun. um just to see like I don't know there was. There's just so much hustle and bustle and when the announcements came out like folks, this is completely true when the announcement came out because first you have the press release and then you have the call and then they had the interview with me in between the press release and the earnings call when the numbers came out Rumble stock shot up and I just hear the room of like the board and all them just hearing they were so stoked there was this one guy. he's just like you just hear him like hooting and hollering and it was so much fun. it was just like such a blast! Um so that went really well. that was all. Thursday Unfortunately I missed Friday with you because as just a single man, I was taken on the entire American Airline conglomerate and I would love to debate the CEO because that guy is a clown running the worst I Honestly part of me I don't know what is a bigger emotional driver for me right now. do I love Texas Roadhouse more or less than I Hate American because I have to put money into the markets with like last year's taxes and stuff and I don't know if that money should just be all in support of Texas Roadhouse all against American or like some sort of like in between.
um I need to figure out emotionally for me what is a bigger driver because I'm feeling very emotional about both instances. So anyway, that was all. Friday I missed the Pce report inflation continuing slowly but surely to take down, which led to an amazing way to close out the week the month and the quarter thing exploded. To the upside: I got burned on some premium that you guys probably saw in the newsletter, but I also was yoloing into some zero DTE like NASDAQ calls that if I held it even longer I would have been massively profitable, but instead I just mitigated almost all of my losses.
uh, some just basic hedging. that's all in the newsletter. Feel free to check that out. But overall, looking forward looking at what's going to be going down today.
What's going down this week? It looks like we're going to have some fun. I mean some big news. McDonald's Tesla UFC slash WWE We have to talk about what's going on in oil. We have to talk about the FED Barr's going to be speaking a lot this week.
It feels like there's just going to be a lot going on and especially with the nice conclusion and explosion last week. Just everything. ripping ripping ripping. We got that Gap filled to 408 whatever.
Now the next Capital to the upside 421. but now we have three Gap bills. To the downside, so I feel like there's just going to be movement. Unfortunately because we just had a big Trend I wouldn't be surprised if the New Movement is more chop like kind of volatile moves to the upside.
And the downside, because remember, markets expand, they contract, They expand, they contract. So we just had a nice expansion and could it keep expanding from here totally. But also the more it expands inherently, the closer we are to another chop. period. So if you're watching all this especially as a swing Trader and you're thinking to yourself, okay, like yeah, everything's moving should I hop onto the train now I Fully detailed this in the newsletter last night. sorry for getting it out a little late. I Was driving back from Virginia Beach but I think the risk reward's not as favorable as it was when we were first talking about it for a couple weeks there. I was talking about if the S P 500 can get above and hold above the 400 to 402 region.
To me, that's the breakout I'm looking for I want it to hold and then I'd be looking to be a little bit more bullish and there were other things aligning. For example, the concerns within the banking sector seem to be simmering down from a technical perspective. We had inverse head and shoulders and then also for more of the market events perspective. we had inflation continuing to take down on Friday So was it guaranteed to have such a nice, beautiful movement? To the upside? absolutely not.
But the deck was stacked heavily heavily heavily in that favor and then eventually ended up playing out. So I hope you were able to make a lot of money off of it. We're going to be looking for the next Trend the next setup. Whatever it is, obviously we can get into some chart breakdowns I know obviously beyond the overall Market that we have some now pretty interesting movement in individual equities, so whatever's on your mind, feel free to ask.
Throw it out there. Is the market closed Friday Yes, it is an observation of Good Friday It's a four day training week. so Thursday think of that as Friday or think of today as Tuesday Think of it however you want, but it should just add up to the fact that we're only trading four days this week and then the week after that. everything should be fully back to normal.
I should be here streaming every single day of the week. It should be a full length training week. Uh, just mid. April Very bullish month.
We will be looking at the seasonality of it, but that's pretty much the summary. The synopsis of everything that went down from basically Wednesday evening up until now I Hope all of you had a beautiful weekend I Hope everyone got a little rest and relaxation I Hope everyone was able to enjoy some of the attendees that they were able to score in the second half of last week. And with all that being said, let's hop in to all the news so quick. Look here of the major things I Think we should be talking about the overall: Market It's down a little bit, but still pretty much holding the gains from Friday We have oil exploding and then oil related companies and their Associated stocks also exploding. So look at oil I mean it closed out last week at 75 which was already a nice uptick and then gapped up over 81. and then if you look at any oil related name and I've been looking at Occidental just because we know Warren Buffett's been loading up on it I Myself, arguably the two greatest investors of all time Warren Buffett Matt Cores are both an oxy so love to see this pop from 62 all the way up to 66. I think my average is just below 68 so I'm slightly underwater but I'm still really liking it and then also with rum just from last week. I Mean look at this pop right after the earnings.
That's what happens when you beat your Revenue estimation by like 550 percent. When You crush it on monthly active users. just so much going on. So and then McDonald's we've got some news there.
Tesla We got some news there one time. is it 9? 18. we have time? All right. Here's what you need to know: NASDAQ 100 Futures Fall ahead of first trading day of second quarter I Wouldn't be surprised by this I mean we just had one of the best quarters ever since 2020.
And now that we're starting a new quarter Also, a new week? A new month? A new quarter. Not the craziest thing to think that kind of the shorter term Traders not necessarily day Traders But swing Traders are locking in their money because of just the natural cycle that we're at. and we just from a mathematical standpoint, we've had such a dramatic movement to the upside in overall markets that yeah, we're gonna have profit taking. We have a little bit of a pullback that's not crazy.
Could overall it can continue? Yeah, but do I fully expect another explosive day like we did on Friday No, it could happen, but that wouldn't be my base case. Explanation Explanation: Why would I say that? expectation is probably the right word I'm looking for there So Dao Up slightly S P 500 down slightly NASDAQ down a little bit more. we're in this weird scenario where Tech is looking the heaviest and then any company related to oil oil production. oil refining is actually looking pretty strong.
Oil just below 80 a barrel right now and then yields. Uh, pretty much unchanged. So here's what you need to know for today. So here is the write-up from last night over the weekend.
Uh, the major Market events we already had: Bullard speaking this morning at 9 45. Uh, 15 minutes after the Market opens. we're going to get the PMI numbers. Then we're going to get manufacturing and spending numbers at 10 A.M and then Governor Cook fed Governor Cook will be speaking 15 minutes after the market closes.
This is all for today. Once again, just a reminder. Friday is a strange day. the Market's not going to be open, but we are still getting the unemployment report for last month, so we get that still on the first first.
Friday I guess even apparently if it's a market holiday. so Market not open on Friday but still at 8 30 a.m we're getting another employee important report the unemployment report. So if we want to drill down to today individually, it's pretty much a neutral day. Like it's just neutral. I mean pretty much 50? 50. The Profit Factor Essentially won it today. From a seasonal standpoint, it is neutral. Uh, and then we have all the positions that close out I kind of lost kind of one and then all my current positions.
One thing I want to drive home to all of you is April is actually a very, very seasonally bullish month right here where my cursor is April pretty much just keeps going and keeps going and keeps going Um, depending on what time frame you use and individually what Market you're looking at, April is commonly considered to either be the best or the second best month of the entire year. Once again, depends on your time frame depends on what you're looking at. Sometimes it's actually October depending on how far back you go and are we looking at the NASDAQ the Dao blah blah blah. but April in a general sense thought to be a very, very bullish month from a seasonal standpoint.
So I want that to be in everyone's mind of like yeah, generally our Market does shine to the upside. and then within that there are months where it's better to even be a little bit more bullishly biased just because of seasonality. And it just so happens that April is one of those months. Um, remember Friday We are getting the unemployment report.
We are getting the unemployment rate, but the market is not going to be open Friday April 7th. Just so everyone knows, with all these Fed members speaking with craziness in the oil sector with everything that's going on, yeah, we should still be paying attention to what the next rate Hike's going to be. And as of now, it's about a 50 50 shot 54 chance that we're going to get a 25 Bips rate hike and then there's a 46 chance that we are going to get no rate hike at all. A lot of Fed members have come out in their speeches and whatever else just like their public facing commentary saying, most likely we're going to get one more rate hike this calendar year in 2023 and then from there we're probably just going to go sideways.
Uh, so just want to put that out there. That's the most recent verbiage. Obviously, this stuff changes from day to day, from week to week, especially as you're literally about to see when you get craziness in other economies other markets such as oil. But as things currently stand to kick off the week, the month and the quarter is about a 50 50 shot that we're gonna get one more rate hike.
Just so everyone knows, we will get the result in the May 3rd, Wednesday May 3rd will be when we get the next one. Okay, so kind of some actually impressively shocking news in the world of energy, oil, petroleum Black Gold whatever you want to call it OPEC Plus makes Shock million Barrel cut in new Inflation risk. Gregavin Shout out to Gregavin for getting all these numbers together List of countries that have announced that they would be cutting oil production in barrels per day. So between Russia and Saudi Arabia alone, we're talking about a million Barrel cut per day now. Classic supply and demand. If demand is staying constant and your supply goes down because you're doing an oil cut well, price is going to go up. and that's why we saw oil basically go from 75 to 80 a barrel. And that's why we're seeing: Exxon Chevron Devon Energy Oxy all ripping to the High Heavens It's not just them though.
After the report came out of their million barrels, other companies or excuse me, other countries started to say similar things obviously to not such an extreme degree. But the UAE Iraq Kuwait Kazakhstan Algeria Oman are all adding up to this oil production cut and the final number is 1.6 million barrels per day. Right now, it obviously pays to be an energy petroleum. Bowl Oil prices surged five percent after OPEC Surprise Output Cut Analyst: one of a hundred dollars per barrel I Don't want to be that guy.
but I have been beating the drum of being bullish on oil now basically ever since the end of last year. My thesis had nothing to do. I'll be the first person to admit this of a surprise OPEC Cut In reality, not the craziest thing. If they're worried about the overall macroeconomic environment, well, they're going to want to cut it.
That's just smart and basically in their positions, the hands that they're dealt. That's the smart way to play that hand. My thesis had much more to do with just the administration. the U.S Administration The Biden administration Because they depleted the Strategic petroleum reserve the Spr so much I didn't realistically think it would fall below 70..
we did fall below 70 a barrel for a little bit. There lasted for a couple days, but obviously it started to tick back up and we people needed to start to buy. and then when you add this on, we're just throwing gas on the fire and we're going up even more. I don't see energy in the medium term falling and that's exactly why I own Oxy.
Oh, it also very much helps out the fact that Warren Buffett a well-respected legend on Wall Street is continually buying more and more Oxy. The last time it came out, he now owns 23.5 of the company. The volunteer Cuts will start in May to end of 2023. Saudi Arabia Announced saying that it was a precautionary measure targeting towards stabilizing the oil.
Market They're basically worrying about the health of the economy, they're worried about inflation, and they're playing the the hands that they are dealt and they're playing it in a very smart way for themselves. OPEC Plus just made the Fed's job more complicated. Here's what they did and here's what could be next. What you need to know is well at first when this reported the numbers like at that point, not all countries came out saying that they were going to do the in totality 1.6 Uh, now at that one point it was 1.16 But I do want you to know that it's now higher because other countries started to say hey, we're going to cut two, We're going to cut two, We're going to cut to yada yada yada Now Why does this make the Fed's job more complicated? Well, kind of simple. Energy's more expensive. Um, it kind of helps them in reality. kind of hurts them because you do want to drive. obviously demand down.
That's where we're going there. But also we don't want the cost of everything to continue to Surge. So I want to come back to this because I do think it's interesting. but I also do we have the time? All right, We're gonna have to talk a little bit about oil and some interesting things there right after the Market opens.
But I also want you to know of other major movement McDonald's reportedly temporarily shuts its U.S offices and prepares layoff notices. so it's definitely going to be interesting to watch. MCD Today it looks like we are on the precipice of a big announcement of how many people are they removing from the company. Also probably worthwhile to watch Tesla because over the weekend we got their new delivery report.
Tesla reports 423 000 deliveries for the first quarter of 2023.. Tesla Right now in pre-market it is down actually 3.4 Obviously the market not the most happy with it. The delivery number is 423 000 production 441 000. The first quarter numbers represent a 36 increase in deliveries compared to 310 000 reported during the same period a year earlier.
I Wanted to quickly interject here right now I Don't think people fully appreciate how dominant Tesla is within the world of EV Huge percentage of all electric vehicles sold are directly attributed to Tesla. Now if you look at all the vehicles in the world that are sold EVS are about 5.8 percent, but Tesla's still within that 5.8 percent of people who want EBS is massively dominant. Uh, so I think that's just an important thing to throw out there for just like kind of a larger picture. Look, uh, we're gonna have to get into this once again after the Market opens big movement with the WWE and with UFC they are agreeing to merge multi-billion dollar deal and obviously we will be diving into the details.
So now the five things you should know before that belt goes. Dingity ding ding ding today. Monday April 3rd short week ahead the market is going to be closed on Friday An observation of: Good Friday Oil is surging. Things are ripping petroleum's up, petroleum related companies, their stocks are up.
Tag team: WWE UFC they are merging together. We will be going over the details of all that Starbucks controversy. Um, basically you Schultz here and accused of union busting and this and that and the other thing. We could go over it, but when we were talking about it a little bit last week, you guys didn't seem like the most interesting in it. So I I don't know if we need to. Basically Bernie Sanders is being classic Bernie Sanders and then yes. Ukraine uh still sad sad situation over there with them. and Russia a little bit on crypto in a bit.
a little bit on a crazy piece of property sold in London in a bit. But overall, first let's watch the market open. Let me drop all these to the one minute chart just so we can get ready, ready, ready. Whatever you guys want on the chart, let me know here.
I could switch this to like kind of an oil thing right now. Um, but call it out Whatever you guys want to see I think I saw something from Q Appeals please look at. Let me write this down. so I don't forget it s C H W YOLO 4 6 55 Call 55, Call 46.
All right. Yep, we will definitely be hopping into that. We have a couple seconds left. How many seconds left? Five seconds folks.
prep up. It's a beautiful new Week month and quarter. Let's see what we could do. The casino is open.
Best of luck. All play responsibly if not have fun folks. The opening bell is brought to you by street beat. If you're watching this right now and you're not on shreepy, what are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing? If you sign up with the code Matt M-a-t-t you'll get anywhere from five to five thousand depending on your initial deposit.
This is a non-payment for order flow brokerage, but it's a little unique in the sense that the Smarty Pants is over there. At Shreepy. they made a couple robotic algorithmic trading systems that you can use. There's various ones I'm right now using three or four of them.
They're about to roll out with a couple more such as inverse Jim Cramer Inverse CNBC The ones that I'm on uh are like the Bond Ladder one, uh, the U.S top government recipients and earnings prediction One that one has been trading lately because we're not in an earning season, but it'll start up here soon. Um, so there's cool strategies that it does all the buying, it does all the selling. All you have to do is elect to put x amount of money into it. Very cool.
So if you want to use it for that you can, you don't have to. You could also use it as a normal non-payment for order flow brokerage. It is pinned to the top of chat. it's in the description of the video.
Check it out or just download it to your phone. but if you want that bonus money, put in the code Matt M-a-t-t Just four letters. You can do it mat when you sign up very early. I Think it's like page one in the sign up process.
Uh, but check it out! They have some very, very exciting things coming out in the next couple of months and I think you guys are all going to be a little jealous if you're not on it, so you might as well do it. Now Shout out to: Street Pete for sponsoring today's stream right out of the gate. the Spy is just ripping. I Did want to point out that we now have three downside: Gap those 396.49 401, 16, 404 35 Given enough time, I Strongly believe these three gaps will be filled. but on the flip side, we also have a gap all the way up to 421.22 So if there's four gaps on the S P 500 right now. One upside: Gap though three downside: Gap fills given enough time I Wholeheartedly believe all of these gaps are going to get filled first, like eventually, it's just a question of what is going to come first. So I just wanted to point that out to you guys just from like a technical perspective, but from a seasonal perspective. Do not forget how strong how bullish of a month April is.
It's absurdly strong. So uh, my bias for this go around is leaning a little bit more bullish. The only thing that would really mess that up for me is if everyone starts to get bullish. I've said this many times before, but I want to reiterate it because I believe it that devoutly that the market screws over the most people it possibly can.
So if most people are bullish, I'm looking for the markets off if most people are bearish. I'm looking for the market to pop recently. I've been favoring an upside movement and that's because I saw a lot of negative nancies. but now that we actually got the upside movement, I'm almost wondering if so many people are gonna be like oh no, we're bullish too and then once again like I just like to be on the ship with less people because I think the the market that is the ocean that likes to crash the ships with the biggest people I just don't want to be on that ship I don't want to be involved in the Max Payne scenario.
So I do understand that a lot of things are to the upside and I think the only thing that's going to ruin that for me is if I see everyone on Finn twit and Reddit and whatever streaming on every single service, being bullish and being bullish and being bullish if that happens, then I'll actually be like probably a little bit more bearish. please look at Indio please stop saying April is bullish it. It is bullish though. and I I showed you the information.
It's actually one of the best months of the entire year. depending on the time frame, you're actually what was that order filled? Uh, interesting. M and EQ what the is going on here My my program's like a little Frozen there team. What's going on with a tradestation chart training? well that's frozen so that can't be good.
Please give you an air high five. um a nice crisp air high five. also Matt stay out of Virginia Beach I like Virginia Beach It's fine. Not necessarily the best beach sound I Feel like for being a big tourist town, it's not really built up for tourists.
um I I just there's just not like really much to do there. Like it's fine. All right. Charles Schwab Camille Let's get to your question. you have a 55 call for this. Thursday The banking sector is coming back. It is coming back. Your risk is about fit I would just be risking 51.
The only thing I don't like about it and you already know what I'm going to tell you is the time frame I wish you gave yourself a little bit more but I too am bullish uh I did sell some put credit spreads on JPM I already locked that money in I'm still in FRC which is now just going flat. It's not doing anything. but overall I Strongly believe I mean we're even seeing the rhetoric surrounding it that the banking sector there seems like I'm not going to say the crisis is gone, but it seems like it's dying off. So with that being said, I like what you're doing I just don't know if you gave yourself enough time.
uh my. I like the risk I like the reward. The only thing I don't Like is the time. It totally could happen.
but you're asking for like still a solid movement to happen now? Could it happen now? totally And you'll make money if it does. But also what happens if you're spot on and it just happens next week instead? That's my only concern with it. but 55 I think you picked a good strike I Like the risk reward I Like the overall thesis with the market with the banking sector Charles Schwab it's a fine bank I mean it's definitely not like one of the worst Banks So I'm a fan of it. Uh, since you're becoming YouTube semi-famous has anyone ever dm'd you uh new D's and if not, check your DMs uh new D's DMG new DS oh yeah, no they have and it was.
It's like kind of awkward. um I've never. Honestly, it happens and then the first thing I just do is like I giggle like an immature middle schooler and then I just show my completely real girlfriend I'm like hey, check this out and she's like why are you showing me this That was funny New D's I Had to say it like four times. Um, it happened a lot more frequently in 2021.
So I think it was just like a function of like basically how many numbers you get in a day. um, a lot more frequently back then big. Hogs the market is coming out of the gate. It must have got enough rest and relaxation.
Like all of you beautiful folks over the weekend and this thing is moving now. the Spy is cruising and we have Oxystone. How many of you are in Oxy Two questions: How many of you are in Oxy Yes or no? raise your hand if you're an Oxy and then also, where is everyone else's mindset? like I Know things have been bullish lately and are you still holding on to your bullish plays Or are you thinking to yourself Okay, yeah, the party's probably gonna end soon. Like time to like take my money off the table type of a situation? Yes, No, yes, wasn't Devin Energy Devin Energy Grape I Love their Devon uh dividend Evans Bullish on oil Devon It's a trap and Oxy yes, holding bullish I Don't think it's a trap we just 1.6 million barrels a day are being cut from. Supply When your supply goes down, the demand's not going to get crushed that much. I think this is a basic Supply demand curve Looking for a pullback on Oxy? I'm still underwater on it so I would love for it to just keep ripping. shorting Oxy Expat Expat. You're going against me, man.
Honestly I Don't mind it. Expat Squared I Don't mind it at all because at least one of us is going to be happy in this situation. At least one. like if I'm long and you're short, at least one of us in here is gonna end up making money I'm in Uso for swing trades as a 25 21 Divi Loving it.
A lot of these energy plays have amazing, amazing, amazing dividends. Um, big fan of it. from just holding on to it for quite a while there, it was tough just because they weren't performing well. but now with the petroleum market like kind of ticking back up, we have a lot of these companies also doing well also giving amazing dividends.
Um, for people who have been sitting in dividend playing energy plays over the past year and a half, it has worked out phenomenally phenomenally. Um, hey folks. Well as the market continues to rip higher, we should get a freaking rocket up here. Uh, if you have, do they have new emojis? Were these always here? Um, make sure you hit that like button.
make sure you hit the Subscribe Um, we're way below where we should be. I Think you guys kind of forgot because I haven't been reminding you ever since. In fact, through Street Beat you can get paid for hanging out here today. anywhere from five to five thousand dollars. So like This is going to be an overall nice net win for you if you play your cards properly. Today Van was one of my best dip buys this year.
Got beaten down with the bank Fair and still has a nice upside. Gap FHN What is FHN I Don't know what off the top of my head First horizon Corporation Coming back I Like that I mean when we're talking about Regional banks with that's exactly what First Horizon is. Uh, a lot of them are massive dip buys. The question is, can we just you don't want to be in the one that ends up not surviving? Uh, as of now it looks like Signature Spny are.
well, also Silvergate, but that was a little bit of a different story. are the ones that aren't going to make it and it looks like the other ones are in the clear, but we're not necessarily out of the wood yet. If if you're looking at FHN if you're looking at FRC uh that was that the PAC W one the one that starts with the p. A lot of these if they recover to where they were before, there was a bit of panic. There's a lot of upside potential. It's just the golden question of are you gonna get lucky and pick the ones that actually survived the gauntlet? What's going on with AMC I Saw AMC last week this big pump was on the whole I don't know inaccurate story that Amazon was thinking about buying it out and then it very quickly became the classic by the rumor sell the news type of scenario they are. There's not an M a thing going on between AMC and Amazon We've heard this particular storyline multiple times now over the past two years and it was never accurate and the people who put it out they like don't know what the hell they're talking about, it's all a joke. It is all 100 a joke.
um it's just not real. If you think Amazon's coming in and buying AMC they're just not I mean yeah like everyone is disavowing the concept completely. Um so it pumped up, came down a little bit. it's holding but I think um this explosion that we saw on Tuesday the 28th.
it was momentary and if it could hold here I would like it but understand that this was it was all like a rumor. it was an inaccurate rumor that pumped it up. Um so I just want to get that out there. it looks like there's no credible Source saying actually that Amazon will be buying out AMC uh that was such a good air high five.
You should go Pro: I've tried a couple times. um it just I haven't got my lucky break thus far. How's FRC doing uh coming down? How is Microsoft doing Microsoft's pushing Nvidia is pushing Apple pushed all right. So Tech actually came out of the gate pretty strong Amazon just going flat today not doing much Google pumped up came down Rumble down to 974 but maybe turning around right now.
How's Bonds doing TLT chilling just below 106. how's gold looking? Gold is back up to 184. Uh. gold.
Definitely performing a quiet strong performance recently. Uh, how about digital gold? We have Bitcoin sitting just above 28 000 we have Ethereum Sitting just above 1800. How's Meta doing all right? Walmart uh popped up just going flat Target popped up coming down Proctor and Gamble All right, let's check out. Uh, we see Oxy doing very, very well.
Uh XOM how's Exxon doing Exxon's up five percent. Oxy's up 6.2 percent. uh I can never remember Chevron foreign C V x um up four percent. Uh, so we're seeing the strongest performance still right now in the world of Energy Petroleum.
Uh I Thought that this would be updated by now I I Want to look for this to like open up and I'm My prediction is that right here this energy sector is going to be very, very green. Um, so let's wait for Finviz. They're on a little bit of delayed data, but overall I'm expecting this to be absurdly green. This little sector right here so we'll see how that goes out. Financials: they're not doing the best. This might be a little bit more of a Christmas looking thing. Energy or no, not energy. Tech we're popping a little bit this morning I haven't checked in on Health Care Okay, cool beans, cool beans, cool beans Market Looking good Tesla The investors not apparently not the biggest fan of these delivery numbers.
uh, it did pop but kind of giving back that we have Tesla actually down 3.6 percent. Oxy's looking crazy strong I wonder if this is our boy Buffett just buying more right now because even on a relative basis to other energy plays Oxy right now is over performing. uh, other energy plays Pac W Oh Pac W that's the other Regional Bank that people have just been talking about looking actually just like FRC is sold off volatility and now it's just going flat. So I'm very happy that there is a little bit of stability returning to this.
Uh, very happy that it's not continuing to get crushed. Um, and this is just my overall commentary on the regional banking sector. It looks like stability has returned. Are they ripping to the High Heavens Right now? Absolutely not.
They're not. looking like the Spy. They're not looking like energy. but at least they have stabilized What's up with Intel What's going on with INTC Intel Actually I think I was just what was it.
Oh man, what was the little fact? I Read on it. I think one of the best months that they've had in like three years, maybe five years. Uh, Intel has been putting up some pretty impressive numbers ever after getting severely beaten down. But if you think about it, we're seeing strength across the board in the semiconductor industry.
So look at Intel kind of looks exactly like in Nvidia Kind of looks exactly like AMD. We're seeing a lot of strength. So if you want to track the sector as a whole, it's under the ETF ticker. SMH This is the van.
X semiconductor ETF ETF exchange traded fund. Think of it as a basket of stock. so what's in SMH It's a bunch of all the other semiconductor plays, so you can see that this, this sector as a whole, is doing very, very well. That includes Nvidia that includes AMD that includes Intel Like um, you could look at Taiwan semiconductor you can look at Micron Right now, this is the subsect of the NASDAQ that is doing extraordinarily well.
Ever since the start of the year, the market is just ripping. Still oxy slowing down a little bit Tesla Kind of going flat. Here's a look at: Oops I didn't want that I wanted QQQ Here's a look at the NASDAQ looking very good today. the Spy The cues uh, looks like we are at least as of out of the gate. we are doing a repeat of what we saw on Friday Um yeah, banks are stable. Um yeah they are now. I mean it looks like the the run on the banks has like I know I guess I mean that very legitimately. It does seem as if the runs on these Banks has stabilized which is what we want.
Is it gonna hold? That is the multi-million billion dollar question? Uh with me I had some degenerate stuff going on on Friday so I was able to lock all of that in I wish I swung it till today because things are still looking absurdly strong I mean look at the spot, look at the cues. Uh, we have even Bitcoin is upticking. we're almost at 28.5 000 East is holding 1800 uh Tech making a bit of recovery Tech's doing well. It seems like a lot of this though.
Is is this ever going to update here on Finbiz I Want to see how green this all is? Yeah, this is exactly what we were calling out. Is the energy sector being absurdly green? Some healthcare UNH is doing well um Tech on relative to where they close on Friday We had a gap down scenario but they're fighting back. The one that's doing the worst is Tesla today so just want to put that all out there. man.
All right. I Guess my question to you is in terms of the two closest Gap fills the two. The upside: Gap fill is right here: 421.22 The closest downside: Gap Those 404 35. if I were to ask you all this right now, which one do you think will get hit first? 421 22 or 404.35 Which one are you like? Yeah, no I'm pretty con like I know 404 is obviously closer, but this momentum is a little bit undeniable.
421 Jeffrey Calling out 421 Um, my tradestation is just not working right now and it's in a position it shouldn't be in and I can't close it? Uh yes I think I need to kill this program. It's gonna like crash my CPU and ruin the stream. uh. Control alt Delete Task Manager: Why is this not responding at all? Uh Trade Station: This is gonna like bring down my computer team.
Trade Station Tradestation: Uh. End task and task. End Task and task I think I ended it all and yet it's still up on my computer. Well this isn't good.
Uh and Task: I'm trying to bring it all down. there we go I think I Finally was able to kill it. Uh uh. a little bit of a too much on the system this morning.
for whatever reason, let me open this back up. Oh brother. One of those days. One of those days.
All right. we'll let that load. Uh, open up all those. We'll let it do its thing.
Jeff you think it's gonna hit 398. I think there's a lot. There's a lot of positivity in here. For 421, there's some negative Nance he's calling up 404 but it seems like a lot of you are leaning like still bullish I Appreciate the optimism.
I mean the Spy is just ripping right now? It is just ripping. Dude, this program is having some problems. What the hell's going on? Error occurred. Okay, that doesn't seem good. Okie dokie. Positive: Pete's hey Everyone likes Everyone likes a good positive Pete We are within a bull market in a bear Market failed to create an empty dude. What is going on with tradestation today? It's just losing its mind. Uh, I'm so incredibly confused right now.
Dude, My I mean you I don't know if you've ever been hearing this, but this is it's losing its mind right now. Uh, hang on. This says it should be flat order food. All right.
I'm cleaning up all these positions because this is nuts Strategy: This wants to be order filled, order filled. All right. I think I have everything matched. Positions match equal? True.
Okay, that's where I want it to be. Uh, how much money does that cost me this morning? Jesus Oh, 80 bucks? Well, that still kind of sucks. What is going on here? Why is my thing losing its mind? I Don't know. We'll come back to that one.
we'll try to figure that out. How was the wedding? It was a blast. It was a blast. Weddings are always fun! I For a person who can't dance at all like folks, I'm just not a person who can dance.
uh I enjoy weddings too much for a human being who has no natural ability of dancing I have way too much fun WWE Down 6.5 after it was announced that they are being purchased by the Wfc's parent company. Um, a little bit more complicated than that. Uh, they. it's a merger deal where WWE will be 49 and then the parent company as you alluded to with the UFC is going to be a 51.
So it's a giant merger. Uh, I mean the WWE company I Guess like technically it's a little bit less valuable, but there's it's still like a massive thing. Yeah, like it's better. Mentally, think of this as like a merger between a massive entertainment.
Well, both are massive entertainment. but it's smart. I mean I was reading about it and across the board. I Think that they're going to be able to use the strong aspects of each other's company to make the individual one even stronger.
It feels like there's going to be more money flowing into it, which is going to be better for the viewer. It's going to be better. For the fighters, it's going to be better. For the entertainers.
Um, so I actually think it's a really smart idea? As you alluded to, WWE is down and then the parent company for the UFC is up this morning. But even now we're seeing the WWE actually have a pretty strong recovery. Uh, no. it's basically turning the UFC into Pride FC I.
Don't think so at all Because yeah, a lot of their businesses can be merged, but it's still going to be an independent organizations Like the UFC is still going to be like the fighting UFC organization and then the WWE is still going to be the WWE. Just because the businesses are merged. in terms of the product, it doesn't necessarily mean that the product is going to be a merge of the two. Mixing pro wrestling with WWE is no bueno. But that's what I'm saying is, you're you're assuming that they're mixing the product. They're not mixing the product. The businesses are going to be combined from a business perspective. But that doesn't mean that's what the viewer is going to see.
That would be crazy. They're not going to start like mixing Hulk Hogan with like Conor McGregor Uh, what's going on with Tessa They are doing well. Tesla's is down 4.46 today. Uh, people were not the most happy with the numbers that were reported over the weekend even though it was still growth.
Uh, I I Just feel like the bar that Tesla's held to is extraordinarily high and unless there's massive out performance Tesla stock ends up taking a hit. Who's going to New York to protest Trump's arrest folks. it was wild. It was so insanely wild to be in Rumble Studio on Thursday in between the earnings call in my interview with Chris were they like at that's when they announced Trump's indictment? it was wild like I thought the whole day was chaotic, just them getting ready for their earnings and making sure they had all their ducks in a row and then out of nowhere just to lob that in.
the fact that Trump got indicted, it was pure chaos. Um, pure pure chaos. It was so fun to see like play out of, just like there's a certain energy that it was just like wild to experience all of it. But anyway, um, isn't the most recent thing that, uh, the the assumption is being arrested tomorrow I Want to say is that right? Can anyone bring me up to speed? That's the most recent thing I heard.
but it's one of those things that it seems like it changes like on an hour to hour basis. Uh, F1 was chaos as well. So the F1 race was in Australia which was my lead. It's always my least favorite race because of the timing.
so I ended up seeing it because it was right after the wedding and everyone was at the bar anyway. So I ended up watching like three quarters of it. Uh, Verstappen one again. the Red Bulls team is just so incredibly dominant.
uh Aston Martin is very much outperforming anyone's expectations. Uh Ferrari in a weird way, they were like a flash in the like pan last year and like they've just already lost their spark. I don't know how they lost it so so quickly. but uh Mercedes coming back into their dominant form.
Yes, Red Bull is the most dominant. but Mercedes Mercedes is putting up some serious points. Ask Martin's crushing it uh McLaren and Ferrari I would say are like thus far the biggest disappointments of the year. But anyway with Australia the timing is so weird.
so on the east coast in the US it was like at 2 A.M so that one is just not going to be a popular one for like people within the Us to watch. Checkout's been doing super super well. I mean Red Bull's just crushing it I'm always surprised that F1 level car can just shut off during a race. It just shows you the incredibly like complicated nature of the engineering that goes on. uh for shopping is so much better than rest. Give him a Merc and he still smokes everyone. I Thought that that would be kind of cool if they almost had an exhibition race. maybe at the end of the season where you randomly get other teams cars because I would love to know how like someone like Verstappen does In Like A Williams like if we put Max for shopping into Williams where would he be would he be good enough with that car to be in the middle of the race? uh like I've always thought that and like with it I mean clearly there's the smallest skill differential like it ends up extrapolating out to be incredibly important on like on race day.
but I just want to know like I want to know if I took like a Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen like any of these the top whatever a top three person if we put them in a random car like where would their performance be seeing Alonzo doing so well is just awesome for the sport. Yeah so I I became a fan of Formula One because of the Drive To Survive series on Netflix So I definitely am not some sort of like historian of the sport but I kind of think of it as at least the way Alonso is depicted in Drive To Survive. He's kind of like the he's always kind of depicted as like the villain character uh like I think even what they said about him is like we all know like Alonso's in this for Alonzo and that was like in season one or two but now that he's what was he was on I think McLaren right last year but now now he's doing super well and it's almost like we're actively seeing public sentiments swing back and be very, very supportive of them. Uh, but he, in terms of driving and his output, he's been crushing it.
Uh, he is the villain. so that's what I'm kind of missing out on I don't necessarily like I guess I just wasn't there and I don't fully appreciate what he did prior to like three or four years ago that like made him the villain. and I'm not saying that he is or isn't I'm just saying like I I'm just saying I'm uninformed. uh us ISM Manufacturing PMI Actual 46.3 The expectation was 47.7 uh or that was the previous The estimate was 47.5 So manufacturing coming down.
At first we saw a little bit of a downside jolt in the Spy but now, uh, the markets are picking back up. uh construction spending down point one percent consensus was uh, flat. so it looks like all the numbers shout out to profit for posting these in Rumble chat uh, looks like all the numbers are coming in a little bit like ISM Prices paid 49.2 Expectation: 51.1 all the numbers coming in a little bit light there. uh Netflix messing with narratives and bending facts.
yeah no. I mean I even saw that report that Formula One got like into a fight with Netflix accusing them of like making the stories a little bit more hollywooded up uh, prompting a little bit more drama. Um, so I read that. so do I think that. Netflix is explaining the story to like the same I don't know accuracy that a true hardcore F1 fan would. No, probably not I mean for them, they they want drama because it makes better entertainment to watch. So I wouldn't be surprised if the truth is I don't know. A little bit malleable in their eyes I didn't even know you were streaming today.
No notification, not in my feeds. nothing I mean is anyone surprised? This is how YouTube operates. You're on one hand where YouTube people like seek me out and they can't find me and they actively want to find me and then compare that to something like Rumble where just if you're a subscriber, you get a notification every single time. Um, it's one of those scenarios where just Like Less is more like somehow YouTube has created a system where it almost is arbitrarily pushing out your notifications like some people get it, some people don't and that that seems like a very complicated system to pull off because on the flip side, you just have Rumble they're like oh, if you're subscribed, you get the notification unless you unin like unless you intentionally unsubscribe from notifications.
Uh, one of those scenarios were definitely less is More Less is more same I haven't gotten notifications uh in months I've argued with YouTube's like support staff about this and they just they just give you canned HR responses and they just tell you you're wrong. they're like yeah, no no, our notifications are working I was like they're not. No, they're not working. um and they just tell you you're wrong.
They basically they tell me to tell you guys that you're all wrong. Uh but Rumble search sucks. Yeah, they clearly we talked about this in the interview. they know that they're improving it.
actually an improvement just dropped and it's a little bit better. I mean this is all from the Rumbles official account and the CEO's account of they did just drop a search update. Uh, so it's a slight. Improvement They are well aware that they have obviously other improvements to make with it, but this is the nature of a newer company.
Would I sit here and tell you that Rumble's perfect? No, but the issues that I have with it these technological issues I'm willing to stomach for now when even when I have issues like this, there's people that I can reach out to and be like hey, this needs to be fixed, This needs to be fixed. This needs to be fixed. Um they they actually care about their content creators like they give a about like our opinions and what we have to say. Well YouTube I mean after this today I will send the exact accounts who are saying that they had an issue and are like not getting a notification from YouTube and they're just going to tell us that like we're wrong and we're misunderstanding.
It's just the way you're treated is so so different. Laughs: Hey Matt I Feel that the debt ceiling is the next big issue. When are you going to start to worry? Neither party has given their budget and I feel default is a real possibility. Thoughts: No I'm not worried about it I Think it. This is all posturing. I Don't think that they're gonna let us hit it I Think that they're gonna fix it. Um, it's just all posturing because both sides want it like the Republicans are saying we will raise it but also we need you to like. Part of the deal is to cut spending because you're spending like a drunken sailor.
Well the Democrats are saying well, why don't we just raise the ceiling now and then we'll figure out our spending afterwards and then the Republicans are saying why don't we just do it now Um so I think what's going to happen is one of the sides is going to Blink Um I Don't think that they're gonna like actually let us default I Don't see that happening. It would be too much of a just a political embarrassment. Um, so it's going to come to Classic politicking of who is better at jocking for the position and getting their appropriate amount of votes, but it would just be too much of an embarrassment across the board for a default. I Don't think it'll happen.
It might be one of those things of like they wait for the final minute. Uh, for this to all get like signed, sealed and delivered. Um, but I I think they'll take care of it. There's the ramifications for not taking care of it versus like what? Maybe they're arguing it's just it wouldn't be worth it for them right now.
But uh, we clearly need to cut down our spending. I mean so many people and I know I've gone on a couple rants about this in the past, but so so many people are talking about like the only way to fight inflation is to cut or to basically cut Demand by raising up the FED fund rate. And that is one way to do it. It is a very, very blunt tool, but another way you could do it is cutting our government spending.
We are still currently spending at the same rate that we were in the peak of the Rona period. There's no reason our Administration should be pissing away that much money. It is lunacy. It is absolutely lunacy.
The amount of money that we are spending. It's truly, truly insane. So that's another way to like. I Suppose from an economic standpoint, to take your foot off the gas and maybe pump the brakes a little bit is by cutting government spending becaus
Nah he stole to make the payment Matt, that's the point. He paid his whore with his donors money 💰
