College is useless. It's not pause, spot on. Strong start. Not only the 100K in debt that you're going to be in, it's the four years that you're behind the current.
The people who don't go to college are four years ahead of you. They have four years. In the real world. they have four years of experience.
They're going to be more successful than you. It's simple math. Don't go to college. Follow me for more tips like this: Name your price and I would pay whatever it is.

What matters is if u have the skills to do what ur tryna do. College can help verify that you do. U don't need to but ur defo not guaranteed to be making more money lmao especially if ur thinking that coming out of high school as an average joe will get you any serious career starting positions
College is good if you get a degree that’s worth a damn like engineering, doctor, lawyer but if you’re in California going from Drama or Gender studies ur an idiot. You don’t have to have a degree like engineering to make a lot of money though it’s not necessary but you HAVE TO have a plan to make a good living and go after it
I am going to focus on myself, I don’t compare myself to others. I don’t want to discount him because of his age but it’s hard to take advice from someone who doesn’t have much life experience.
He’s very vague on what exactly you will be 4 years behind. He said “the current” and “real life”
I would argue while college is less essential today there are still reasons to get a degree depending on what field you enter. As others said you can have a successful careers without a degree.
I find college can teach lots of essential life skills, for me that was time management, the ability to adapt, and maintaining motivation as it’s not an easy task.
College can allow for much diverse set of opportunities. It can keep you employable if you have specialized set of skills.

Is college required? No you can still have a successful career without a degree but it’s a good decision to go if you’re able to.

Bachelor degree holders earn 36,000 or 84 percent more than those whose highest degree is a hs diploma according to google. This isnt good info to spread

College graduates on average make $1.2 million more over their lifetime.
Now hang on, Going to College for a practical degree is worth it. I am pretty sure you are going to want that surgeon have gone to higher learning.
