Listen to me. I Will never be able to afford a house I Think any of us thought when we were growing up that owning a home would be a luxury and maybe we thought it would be a bit difficult, but not like a luxury that basically only the rich will be able to afford. No one that works a full-time job should be facing homelessness. Everybody in America kind of knows like it's over, like there will be no recovery like this is not like the other times.
This ain't like 2008. Our particular kind of capitalism not only fails to deal with the housing problem, but but somehow routinize it so that the homelessness is blamed on the homeless. You know, blaming the victim Kind of because I can see why a society does it because if you're such a failure at providing this basic human need, you better blame somebody. CU Otherwise, you risk blaming yourself I Think those are very valid points.
Does anyone disagree with that?.
movie to Montana it's cheap
Immigrants come to the US with no English and manage to cobble enough money to buy a home in 10 years sometimes less time.
Now it may not be a dream/forever home with all the trimmings but it’s still a home.
If you want to be able to afford a house. You need to move to we’re they have affordable houses.
This actually shows how stupid the next generation are. The last few days I have been looking at properties and land in Italy as my autism has gotten worse and i need to be alone. For a 1000m2 piece of land that they pay you to take costs £17000 a prefabricated 100m2 luxury villa with a 32m2 beck cost £56000 a little more if you get turn key service thats a fucking mansion for less than 100k
Go work in the trades ladies. You'll be a home owner in no time.
Owning a home is not as hard as you think it is. But if you want to live in a over priced city then yeah it is.
Yea it ain’t time yet. People still warped, it’s coming tho we on the brink
Haha voted for their own demise
I disagree… owning a home has always been geared for a family. A father and his sons working together while the woman keep the house up, this is how's it's done.
😢😢😢 me a F’n 🌊… Listen to me when I say WE IMMAGRATED WITH NOTHING! 7 kids with 2 parents (which got divorced when I was 10) and $0… you have NO EXCUSES. All you do is bitch. Be quiet and get yours! Instead of getting on social media to get pity from others. I am a millennial and my generation is lazy AF
With that addatute they won't get a home just hustle hard u will get their
The majority of homeless people want to be homeless… Drugs and a tent is all most want…Giving them homes they can’t afford is not the problem… Mental illness is running crazy though the United States
I make about 25k a month but no good credit I don’t want to pay 3x times for the house I’m just saving money
Yall just need to move. Too damn stubborn. Yall think it’s like Charlie Brown and where you’re born is where you stay. Who cares that you like it? If you can’t afford it, move to somewhere you can afford it to build equity. Nobody wants to do the work anymore. They think just having a job makes you instantly qualified for all those things. Ridiculous.
bruh, just work a job that pays good. my college is 12k for the whole degree and the work for this degree had an average pay of 100k. its a hard job that you can only work if you truly work hard.
Calling what we have now as capitalism is false. Our government has conspired with private corporations and banking institutions to screw over the citizenry: a blending of fascism, communism, and oligarchy. Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, FBI, ATF, IRS, and end the war machine.
Owning a home has always been very special and a big deal- !
Not saying it's easy… but there are a LOT of people that just can't get their shit together…. just these clips show hair dos, make up, fancy nails, etc. Everyone has Netflix accounts, Uber eats, expensive cars and clothes…. the willingness to actually sacrifice or really work hard to achieve something is greatly diminished. The homelessness and lack of wealth are symptoms of a larger problem. Strong morals are disappearing… and a demoralized society is doomed.
Well blame it on the rich democrats and Republicans rino who fail us by taking this climate change and take away our right to work and make a real paycheck taxs us so much to
You can afford a house.. your problem is that you wan a house in an expensive area… just choose somewhere else
I think that if good person does work their ass off correctly then they should be able to afford a home. I don’t agree with all the lazy fat people saying they deserve a house
If you think you can't, then you can't
im 18 and im blessed enough to have 1.5 acres in my name and as of right now im getting my house constructed and im in the pool business, heart goes out to all of those struggling and god bless
The for profit housing industry is to blame. Investment groups have bought up huge numbers of single family homes in the US. One group owns OVER 14,000 in New York City alone. These are more or less permanent rentals and will never be available to buy.
