a lot a lot to talk about as I was going through all the things to prep for today before the Market opens and even things to get into after the Market opens. it's just I mean you should see the amount of tabs I have open right now to get into all it. so I don't really want to waste too too much time. but I do have a weird little story to share before things get serious.

Uh so early this morning there I was getting ready filling up the old espresso cup where I just put as many shots of espresso as I can in here and what I like to do is throw in a little bit of ice, a little bit of whatever almond milk, oat milk milk milk I don't know I don't really care, just a little bit of something I noticed I noticed that my freezer was slightly a jar and I opened it up and I was like what's going on here and you could tell it was open all night because like it kind of had like frosted over and not everything was melted. but I was like what in the world's going on So I'm looking at the door I'm wondering if anything's keeping it open. no and I'm like trying to jimy the door but it's just like slightly down I was like what in the world is going on so like any good Millennial DIY man these days I go to my fiance and I'm like dude, check out this door seems completely messed up and she walks out and I show it to her I'm like look, it's like slightly a jar I don't know what to do she's like oh I know the problem I was like how do you know the problem or are you all of a sudden like just do-it-yourself expert a real man's man in this house household that I didn't know about and she opened the door she pulled out a peanut butter cup. she's like I Dropped this last night must have been catching the door and she just threw out the peanut butter cup.

I Was there for 10 minutes trying to fix this door and the real issue is the fact that my fiance had dropped a peanut butter cup in between the door and where the door goes stopping it from fully closing. She's like oh right, she's like oh I know the problem. just pulled out the peanut butter cup and threw it away in the door shut. So that's my morning.

That's that's how my morning's going today. So uh I guess it's going to be one of those Tuesdays I guess that's just the day that we're having. You guys are saying volume. Maybe you should just turn up your ears.

She was. She did waste and it was one of those good ones from Trader Joe's um, like the Justin's like dark chocolate peanut butter cup. It was one of the good ones too, so we had to throw that away U obviously uh, in my thoughts and prayers, I would have crushed that I would have crushed that peanut butter cup. uh, had it not been sitting on the floor all night.

but anyway, just wanted to share that with you. But other than that, we do have. actually. unfortunately not not much time for hahas and Hees today you guys know me.

I like to spend a good 95 to 99% of my time just joshing around just goofing around, kind of covering goofy, silly things. But not every show is going to be that because sometimes there's truly horrific, sad things going on in the world and that's what's happening right now. So obviously we got to pay attention to the market. To pay attention to the market, you have to know what's influencing the market.

and what's influencing the market is obviously global conflict if there ever is one. And unless you've been I don't know. Maybe you were on a camping trip and you decided to stay away from technology for the past four days. Uh, there's a very, very serious serious war going on in Israel Right now, it's basically between Palestine Israel more specifically, Hamas and Israel Uh, I Don't necessarily feel the most comfortable fully grouping Palestine with it because it is the militant subset of Palestine Hamas Um, and we're going to be covering that I have some serious updates for you there.

so we're going to be going over all that. and then I do have some other things cuz remember right now, the S Bakeman Freed FTX trial is currently going on. So I want to give you some updates with that because Caroline Ellison should be taking the stand today. Um, it's the start of earnings season.

We heard from Pepsi this morning later on this week we have Delta and then after that JP Morgan Wells Fargo Uh, PNC City We have some of these Banks coming out, so I want to get into that? We have to talk about seasonality. The US doesn't really have a an elected speaker of the house, so that is a big update as well. We might have a Speaker of the House vote as early as tomorrow and then from there I already said season Ality, There was one other major thing going on right now. I'm sure it'll come to me at a certain point.

So um, I'm going to rip through this as quickly as I Can we have a lot to get into? Then we're going to watch the market open after the Market opens. Uh, we'll kind of return to whatever the most upto-date news is regarding Israel because right now, um, there's some wild things coming out. Uh, but it looks like Gaza uh, kind of on the western side of Israel right above Egypt to the west of Israel really bordering the Mediterranean is getting absolutely demolished. Uh, I Literally, right before I started this, there was a report that two very high up people within the Hamas organization uh, actually just got killed in some form of Israeli bombing.

We'll see how it all goes. Here's a quick look at the market. if this ever there we go. Uh, where are we at? Did I just delete something? Uhoh what did I just do? Dude I have so many pages open right now A Hamas armed Wing tells residents of Israeli city ashon to leave within hours.

So I do have that and we're going to come there. But first, stock futures are slightly higher as treasury yields drop. This might come as a surprise to many of you, including myself, that the market actually had a pretty green day yesterday. Actually a very Green Day gained 64% It's up in premarket trading right now, in fact, it's Gap ing up in premarket trading and this is kind of just an old adage of the market of whenever one side of the trade gets a bit too heavy and a lot of people could get burned, it seems as if they do get burned.

So obviously with the news over the weekend of War breaking out in Israel obviously still tensions in Ukraine and Russia and even just political turmoil here in the US I think a lot of people were rightfully thinking to themselves. Wow, seems pretty evident that we should be bearish. A lot of people thought that and guess what? Market continues to push to the uptide, screwing over quite a few people and right now it's going even higher. so we're going to see how things end up playing out.

But I Just want to let you know that the market actually has been green and there's certain sub sectors that are performing very well, such as defense contractors. I Covered this in the update video yesterday. Feel free to watch it, but locky Martin General Dynamics north of Grubman uh, rathon oils going up so Exxon Chevron Oxy uh Paler. absolutely crushing it.

That was more of the focus of the video yesterday of how feel like I might have missed the Train on Paler because Paler is looking really good I know a lot of you are already in it and I am definitely missing out on that one. but if I see a nice dip opportunity I think I might be getting myself some palent here uh, in my long-term account, but we could talk about that a little bit later. Stock futures are slightly higher as treasury yields drop. Worst US Bond sell off since 1787 marks end of the free money era.

So if you want to know what's going on in bonds, you could look at TLT which has been doing nothing but vomiting. So these are the 20-year treasury bonds is this is the ETF Or you could look at things like just yields. We knew they. we know they move inversely.

So when yields are going up, bonds are going down. they're always going to be moving in the opposite direction. so yields up bonds down. Apparently the worst selloff since 1787 I Think we all remember how that one went.

so I don't need to remind you of that. So I do want to talk about the market, but we're going to save that for Market Open. Let me kind of get through in. important update of the latest on Israel Military builds forces near Gaza as Us sends Aid So I'm going to be covering this in a second, but Biden is going to be giving a speech on this right now.

It's scheduled at 100 P.m. ET today if he keeps that time I'm going to be doing my best to actually stick to that time and try to stream it to all of you. But anyway, President Biden Making a public address at 100 P.m. ET today and there's actually even some talk of some of the money and support earmark for Ukraine they might actually be diverting it for Israel So Zalinsky probably not the most happy horrific.

10% of the entire population of the Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip border were executed by Hamas terrorists based on death toll after the end of clashes around the town. As per Israeli newspaper harats Heritz I'm probably pronouncing that wrong. but folks it it's one thing when it's military versus military. there a lot of innocent people, innocent civilians who want nothing to do with this on both sides, unfortunately losing their life I don't want in any way to be watering down the real human impact of innocent civilians.

It is happening. It's sad. The death toll is clearly over a thousand. Even more thousands are injured, and if anything it seems like the ferocity, the viciousness, and just the velocity of this entire conflict is unfortunately picking up and not slowing down.

So if you're in the US most likely the last piece of news you were hearing was uh Israeli military was going through Israel kind of cleaning out who they thought to be. um I guess terrorist in their definition.

um I Have to say I I'm not necessarily disagreeing with them and after they kind of cleaned out that, then that's when the PM BB was basically saying hey, we're going to basically rain down hell on Gaza And this is a a video of this is an imagery a video of Gaza As of this morning a couple hours ago, this this was a well put together area and now it's just absolutely demolished. So once again, this is more of the Hamas region and also this video coming out right before we got the report that two high up people within the militant group Hamas of the palace like it's a subgroup of Palestine Hamas is the militant group? Uh, two of them were killed in this bombing. Moving on. Um, there were a couple absolutely ridiculous things that I heard um and I've been seeing from developing overnight and I want to share some of them with you? Uh, because it just it.

It truly blows my mind. It it it. Beyond blows my mind. Um, so watch this one.

This is from I just want to get his name right. Blah. this is from uh actually I Believe a politician within the Hamas organization listen to what he had to say. It's absolutely disgusting if it loads.

Well now this is awkward. Well this is now really awkward. Can I get this video? It was this I Was watching it this morning and it blew my mind that civilians have not died civilians. We didn't kill any civilian.

It depends on what about right there Hamas Politician or whatever the proper terminology would be saying. they did Not kill any civilians. If you paid attention for two seconds to this story, you'll know that on both sides, many civilians have been killed right there saying nope, we didn't kill any civilians. Are you saying that civilians have not died civilians? We didn't kill any civilians.

Uh, it depends on what about the 260 bodies. What about the 260 bodies at the music Fesal? Do you realize I how absurd that that sounds now within, within, within the operation I Cannot confirm this. This is the head of Political and International Relations of Hamas this specifically the militant groupa because we have also news and videos showing that Israel and what Israel is today doing inside Gaza Based on the so-called uh Hannibal Doctrine to kill thousands of Palestinians including the hostages and this is a adopted Doctrine by the Israeli Army hang on is Israel is just just sorry to interrupt you. but Israel says more than 700 civilians have been killed.

They have been appearing at hospitals in morgs. they Israeli military have released pictures of some of the 260 bodies at a music festival. Are you really expecting us to believe that you have not killed civilians? No, we don't have killed any civilians. So ridiculous.

I Have to say I you journalist uh, we have also to redefine what does it mean A civilian I cannot consider a settler in the West Ubide West Bank who is stolen my hand carrying guns burning the city of H is a civilian. We cannot continue anyone who is sitting around the borders working on Cyber and artificial intelligence to to control and besiege to. So basically he's just saying they're not civilians acknowledging they killed a lot of people he's like, but they're not civilians and then obviously the reporter bringing up. but what about the music festival where you just mow down people and he just is ignoring it.

That's absolutely disgusting. Uh, right here this is coming out of Australia I Had no idea. but apparently in Australia they have a lot of anti-semites This is once again from last night. Uh, outside of the Sydney Opera House in Australia this is in Australia How How ridiculous disgusting.

I guess I When I first saw this, this is something you would expect to see in some sort of Middle Eastern country this is coming out of Australia While the FBI does not have specific incredible intelligence indicating a threat to the US stemming from the Hamas attacks in Israel, we are closely monitoring unfolding events that and will share relevant information with our state local Federal and international law enforcement intelligence. and Homeland Security Partners to ensure they are prepared for any impacts to Public Safety We will not hesitate to adjust our security posture as appropriate to protect the American people. I Hope they do. I'm recently finding out that in terms of populace, New York City Where I Am is the second largest home for Jewish people.

And whatever reason, both sides are thinking it's somehow smart to have pro-israel rallies and pro Palestinian rallies right by each other right now. Tensions in New York especially over the weekend or high. And when I see things like this I don't think they're going to be simmering down anytime soon. A little bit more funny, but honestly, uh, a ridiculous development from all of this, you got to check this out.

Obviously there 's a lot of insanity right now, but this might be one of the most ridiculous stories from all the mess: Playboy Fires Mia Khalifa after pornstar Express Support for Hamas Do you know how Wild of a thing you have to do to get fired by Playboy? So this is from Mia Khalifa Can someone please tell the Freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones to film horizontal? uh and then another one. Looking at her too favorably, she would already most likely be dead.

Uh, giving her proclivities not mixing with the culture and then yet for some reason she's supporting it doesn't make sense to me. All right. More recently, this is all stuff from the morning: the Washington Post citing uh, intelligence officials Iran armed and financed the militants who attacked Israel A lot of people pointing out how the attacks from Hamas on Israel a little bit too advanced for what they're known for, so they're thinking that they were trained and financed by someone else. um Washington Post calling out Iran but the US government is still hesitant to do.

that is us. uh Israel may have not seen any firm evidence of Iran involvement in Hamas attack. this is Kirby so he's been trying to I guess. Keep things calm because obviously I don't think anyone necessarily in support of this spilling over into World War III So the US is at the point of like we don't have clear evidence of Iran but there are many outlets and reporters saying dude, Iran heavily involved in this Hamas gives residents of the city of Ashalon in Israel until 5:00 p.m.

local time to leave. Um, most likely similar to what we saw yesterday in Gaza of just like giving out the warnings, you better go because it seems like there's going to be bombing or maybe something worse. So um, I'm I'm not really too sure with the geography of this of where it is, we might as well look it up, see where this is? Um, so it's just north of the Gaza Strip Uh, so this is in Israel. here's the Gaza Strip obviously right here to the west of Jerus a little bit South but Ashalon.

Um, so this is from Hamas so it sounds like they're either going there, bombing it something along those lines. So um, that's most recently Biden delivers remarks on the attacks in Israel at State dining room at 1 pm ET Today of course if he actually is on time which that is a rarity for the current president, but if he is on time, of course we will will be streaming that. um, other things of volatility, political turmoil going on Republican divisions risk dragging out US House speaker vote obviously McCarthy Recently ousted by Matt Gates and now we basically have Jordan and Scalise who are The Front Runners for this and hopefully that gets solved soon because to my understanding, we're going to need the Speaker of the House to pass anything serious related to of the support or any big decisions. So hopefully I don't know.

The timing of this was not good to not have the speaker uh Robert F Kennedy Jr shifts to be independent presidential Bit of potential spoiler In 2024, was running for the Democratic side. Now, as of yesterday, he announced that he's running as an independent at hotels and malls on the street and they remind me that this country is ready for a history-making change. They're ready, they are ready to reclaim their freedom, their independence. and I saw that and I thought and that's why I'm here today.

I'm here to declare myself an independent candidate. This guy is thick. I mean does he have enough poll to get votes? Probably not. Most likely going to end up be being between Biden and Trump I Was reading a little bit more into this, they kind of viewed it more of people most likely taking votes from the Trump side.

But obviously this is all early political analysis and I think it's going to matter much, much more many months from now. Not particularly what's going on at this exact second. Uh, part of the reason with all this crazy is so we have us political turmoil. We have Market turmoil and then we also have just Global.

Obviously, violence in the Middle East might be. You might be wondering why in the world is the market going up It gained yesterday, the spy and the Qes both ripped higher. A lot of tech names look at this pound here. continuing up: Tesla like we had some AI names.

we had some defense contractors. will they make sense? But why is everything generically pushing up? Well has a little bit more to do with monetary policy and the Fed, and also some updates coming out of China. So out of the China side, uh, it looks like there's going to be maybe a little bit of intervention, potentially a little bit of a stimulus, potentially a little bit of a widening of the deficit to help with the economy, Because obviously there's been a lot of downward pressure, not just on the US economy, but specifically on China's economy. So on that announcement that helped the markets Global markets a bit, but then also this right here Fed officials head towards another pause after Bond yields surge.

Top: Federal Reserve Officials are coalescing around the idea that tighter Financial conditions after recent surge in US Treasury yields May Subs Institute for additional increase in their Benchmark interest rate as in on the next Fomc meeting Wednesday November 1st this might be enough for them to say hey, we're actually not going to raise rights anymore. Obviously, that's more a dovish mindset opposed to a hawkish mindset. and in this part particular regime of monetary policy, we can basically associate being doish with being bullish. That's not always necessarily true, but just where we currently are fed.

Vice Chair: Philip Jefferson Stated we will remain cognizant of the tightening in financial conditions through the higher bond yield, and assessing the future path of policy. and this is basically echoing as they say, other Fed members and their commentary. So it seems as the FED is maybe willing to tap the breaks a little bit more and maybe just maybe we're already done with all of the rate hikes, so just want to let you know maybe why we seem to be in the upside down where we're like Hang On we're talking a lot about the Middle East or we go into World War III What's happening with oil and then yet the Market's going up I Get it? I Get it. I Get it.

That doesn't make sense. But really, what's trapping the market right now are economic decisions made in both the US and in China Uh, the outlook for the quarter's growth is surprisingly positive, but economists are still predicting a slow down ahead plus new uncertainty has been raised by the turmoil in Middle East So kind of I Thought this was an pretty solid breakdown of just the interplay of everything currently going on. Quarters growth. Surprising to the upside, but economists are still predicting a Slowdown ahead and new uncertainty obviously has been raised by the turmoil in the Middle East Our senior economics reporter Steve Leasman, joins us right now with the CNBC Rapid Update: Good Morning Steve Morning Becky Yeah, a resilient consumer and strong business investment is forecast to propel us growth in the third quarter to its best showing since 2021.

But forecasters, of course, expressing some caution about the road ahead, in part because of concerns about the conflict in Israel. Right now, the CNBC Rapid Update: The average of 12 tracking forecast sees 3.7% annualized growth in the third quarter, a number that at the beginning of the quarter have been forecasted to 0.3% but the Slowdown economists have long said is going to hit the US and predicted is now seen coming in the fourth Quarter and into next year. You can see there growth is below 1% through the second half of 2024, but there's reason to be skeptical here. Forecasters have continually predicted a Slowdown, only to be forced to revise up those forecasts.

Fed officials have been also surprised by the post-pandemic economy's unexpected strength. They've done a better job though with inflation and see core Pce inflation gradually declining. Three reports are coming out this week starting tomorrow, so we'll stream early Tomor we get the The Producers price index tomorrow 2025. What remains just above 2.3 Okay, growth has seen flagging in the next several quarters.

Only a few now see two consecutive quarters of negative growth. So while a Slowdown is seen, an outright contraction is not the base case, at least not now. Most economists I've spoken with at the moment see only limited impact from the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel largely through the oil Channel but suggesting they are, of course watching the situation carefully along with the doish FED talk we've had the past several days. One economic Fallout has been of course to sharply reduce the outlook for that last Fed rate hike this year Becky that's the November one.

Uh, so right now there's a good chance that the FED fund rate, which is at 5.25% that might be the max value once again, just because we're talking about inflation tomorrow, before the Market opens an hour before the Market opens, we get the Producer Price Index report, another inflation report. so we're going to start streaming early tomorrow and also on Thursday we get the CPI report. So two days in a row, on top of all the US Political craziness Global Political craziness? uh New War SLC Conflict whatever you want want to call it. Uh, we're getting big inflation reports so this week is going to be as volatile as it could possibly get.

And don't forget that we are officially starting earning season. So Pepsi came out this morning and they actually did pretty well. Pepsi Co beats Wall Street Estimates raises earnings Outlook So that one kind of got us all going on Thursday We hear from Delta and Walgreens and then on Friday JP Morgan City Black Rock Wells Fargo PNC and also Healthcare play United Health Group So it is officially the start of earning season I Do want to let you know that for for today uh Tuesday The seasonality is bearish. We don't really need this after the Market opens. I'm going to. Well, we might as well do it s Bakman freeze FTX Trial Witnesses Who knew what and when? So it's officially underway today. They're thinking is going to be a big day in the trial because Caroline Ellison The On again, off again Uh girlfriend of Sam Bigman Freed is expected to be testifying already, though there's been some in pretty interesting things.

Adam One of the people involved with FTX and a friend of Sam Bakman Freed testified Thursday that he and Bakman Freed discussed an8 billion liability owed to FTX by Alam as of June 22. Uh, about 5 months before the company's implosion, he had stumbled on the massive liability while going over Ftxs accounting program and brought it up to Bankman Free. Sam said something like we were bulletproof last year we're not bulletproof this year FTX Co-founder Gary Wang went into detail about how Alam research was given special privileges no other FTX customer had. Basically, they were giving huge lines of credit and whenever things went negative which it commonly did for Alam they basically just never cared about doing a margin call or anything like that.

The money belonged to customers and the customers did not give us permission to use it for other things. Bigman Free knew of and even approved of Alam's immense privileges while at the same time posting on social media that the firm's account was just like everyone else's I trusted his judgment and then talking about loopholes for Alam Um, obviously no insurance. They were basically lying about it and what they were showing in terms of insurance was just a fake number. It it was all a scam.

It was all a giant scam and there was just no adults in the room paying attention to it. But once again Caroline Ellison the on off again girlfriend of Sam Bigman freed also the CEO of Alam expected to be testifying today and I saw some crazy commentary from the courtroom that John J Ray thei third, the guy who was brought in to fix the current FTX situation I believe he called Caroline Ellison Quote Unquote a fucking weirdo. Um so sounds like the court case is definitely, uh, just absolutely wild. And on that note, ding ding ding ding.

here is Spock Amama They are the partner for today's stream. This is how I look at the uh, what's going on in the options Market on like a second to second basis, You could obviously do it from whatever equities you care about, but I like to look at it for the overall Market uh if you want to get a twoe free trial, twoe trial with spot GMA it's pinned to the top of chat in the description of the video. They are the partner for today's stream so check it out. but I like to look at it the white line.

So right here this is the Spy The white line is the price, the teal line is the current days expiration in terms of options, and then this purple line is all of the expirations put together. Clearly, we're what a minute or two into the day. So I'm going to let little bit more data come in just so we can see which way it's trending. but obviously a very, very useful tool to know which way everything's going in the world of options and we just know there's a huge influence on the market.

Let me just load up one more chart for all of us because I do want to show you something I Saw on the spy uh load layout LW Okay, on the spy uh. we were looking looking to Gap up this morning, but we came down enough in pre-market that we're pretty much opening up at the high from yesterday. So there was a baby Gap I believe, but it was only a couple cents if you took advantage of it. Hey, you were quick.

congratulations to you. But yes, the market has had a nice recovery. We've had this trend line from October of 22 connected to March of 23. We recently broke below it as of now.

it seems to be a fake out breakdown. obviously strong recovery breaking Above This 432 region. Next thing I'm watching is 434 followed by 436 and then obviously we have an upside Gap fill to 43843. But now for 3 days in a row, 4 days in a row higher, high, higher low.

it seems as if in the short term the Bulls are in control. Please don't forget from this period until pretty much Thanksgiving the overall seasonality of the market is bullish. I Know that's maybe a little bit surprising because when you hear of October in the stock market, you're like oh wow, That's when a lot of bad stuff has happened. And that's true.

A lot of the most horrific sell off in the stock market have in fact happened in October. But remember, those don't happen every year. So when you look at the average performance the median performance of October, it actually does favor the Bulls. So do not think of October to be a bearish month in an aggregate sense.

Yes, some horrific things have happened in October, but by the time you average it all out, it actually really, really, really favors the Bulls. So I just want to let you know that and actually this point until pretty much mid January favors the Bulls. Yes, there's a couple hiccups such as like, right around Thanksgiving right around Christmas but other, like in a general sense, being bullish from now until mid January it pays. It really does pay.

Uh, that's obviously not a guarantee. From year to year, things are different. but if you were to take a bullish position from mid October till mid January and you just did that year after year after year at least for the past 25 to 30 years, you would be net ahead Now just because we think see seasonality play out in the past. Obviously, all over the last two days have really, really been performing. Um, if you want to look at some of the oil plays Exxon Had a good day yesterday. not so good this morning CVX similar situation good yesterday, not so much today. Oxidal coming back up 64 bouncing off of 5950.

Uh, you can see oil itself. oil itself. we kind of went over that one. Uh, the one that I'm really impressed with right now is paler, gapped up.

Do you expect oil to pop on this as Israel thing only if the conflict spreads, because remember Israel itself, it is not a giant oil producer by any means. That's when we're talking about things like Saudi Arabia especially but also like Iran Russia Um, so in terms of re what is price? price is just the equilibrium between supply and demand. In in the short term, we're going to expect demand to stay roughly constant.

so we have to focus on Supply So you have to ask yourself, is this Isra is the waren Israel going to impact Supply Probably not. If it spreads, it could start to impact the trade routes and then if it spreads anymore, it could have a direct impact on oil because it could spread into neighboring Nations that are big oil producers. So you have to ask yourself what's going on with Supply If it stays just in the region that it's at right now, most likely not much of an impact. But if it spreads and that's why we're seeing a slight uptick in the price of oil in oil, adjacent, or related companies.

Um, is there. It's basically saying okay, it's going to trade out a bit of a premium on some sort of chance that the conflict does spread. If the conflict, in my opinion, stays to the area that's in it, it's in right now. No impact on oil.

Um, but it obviously could like there's some sort of statistical chance that the conflict could spread and then that's where it gets a little bit more. Uh, serious? Yes because Assad normalization of Israel is on hold or drop. Um, that isn't G to like so it never went through this. Saudi I mean that actually made it so we would have gotten oil for cheap Saudis would have gotten nuclear weapons and then Israel would have had a little bit more of like calmness in the neighborhood.

Uh, but in terms of Supply demand of oil? not really. Um, cuz it never went through. That's not like a deal that we were already acting on. It was a deal we were trying to get.

um, but that's not baked into price because like we all, it was already kind of like far away. like We we were getting closer. Yes, they were making progress every day, but just because you're making progress doesn't mean you're necessarily close to finishing the deal. and now obviously the deal is effectively gone Like it's just it.

The deal basically got blown up. Um, but um, maybe maybe it comes back. but I I'm not going to be holding my breath on it, but there I'm not seeing direct relations to the price of oil in that deal being on or not being on. I regret not buying Tesla when it was close to 100.

Uh, their price circuit was 260 265, lowering it to 250 and on the day that they downgrade it, it goes from 258 to 265 and Counting Crazy, Absolutely crazy. Uh, the options.

It's only 5 minutes, but a good explanation that I think a lot of westerners like myself Miss with Israel and Palestine and this is kind of an interesting update of how uh Britain was involved in the whole situation. I woke up this morning to a war going on in Gaza and Southern Israel and I want to give this conflict background before I head into work I'm in Spartenburg South Carolina right now on a consulting job, but I have a few minutes for I have to be on site and uh, keep in mind that all I have is a laptop right now and a lot of my tools and my large monitors aren't with me. The tough thing is that I have a number of Israeli viewers and I also have a number of Palestinian viewers who, by the way think it's hilarious when I speak Arabic with my Egyptian accent. What I'd really like is for everybody to just kind of go home and live in peace, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards right now.

So here's what I think is going on. and then I want to get into some of the back ground on the Israel Palestinian conflict on October 7th Palestinian forces launched thousands of rockets into Israel. They also conducted raids Southern Israel over land SE air. That's right Palestinian forces launched Uh paragliders into Israel so that's certainly one way of doing infiltration now.

from what I understand these Palestinian forces are focused on the city of Ashalon where they have gone door Todo attacking and in some as of this morning Hamas gave out a statement to everyone for to leave Ashalon by 5:00 p.m. local time which I think might have already passed. Um I don't know. can anyone update me on what time it is locally in Israel Uh But anyway, 5:00 p.m.

they say get out. It sounds like the conflict will be increasing in intensity, cases kidnapping civilians. So here's the background: Jews Arabs and Christians live together in mostly peaceful coexistence in Palestine For hundreds of years under the rule of the Ottoman Turks World War I broke out in 1914, the Turks were on Germany's side. Britain decided to open up a southern front by capturing the Cyani peninsula and taking Palestine from the Turks.

Now there is no more dangerous predator in the desert than a Betan and his rifle. So Britain recruited Arab leaders to their side to fight against the Turks by promising them Palestine when they won. Britain also recruited several battalions made up of local Jews living in Palestine with the promise that if they help defeat the Turks, the Jews would get their own Homeland. This was very appealing to a Jewish movement called Zionism which basically advocated for a Jewish homeland.

Zion by the way is the name for a hill in Jerusalem and sometimes it's used colloquially in the Bible for Jerusalem. So Britain essentially promised the same piece of land to the Arabs and the Jews. And while this may seem crazy, in hindsight, it raised the troops that Britain needed to open up the southern front against Turkey. Britain Eventually received a mandate from the League of Nations to administer Palestine.

In 1947, the United Nations proposed a partition plan for Palestine which recommended the establishment of separate Jewish and Arab states with Jerusalem under International Administration. This plan was accepted by Jewish leadership, but it was rejected by the Arab states and Palestinian Arab leaders. The partition plan was never fully implemented. Israel declared independence in May of 1948, neighboring Arab States invaded Israel immediately leading to the 1948 Arab Israeli War Israel calls it the war of independence.

the Arabs call it Anaka the catastrophe. Even though Israel was poorly equipped and trained, they somehow won against five Nations Egypt Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon Jewish militias then expelled over 700,000 Palestinians from their homes. The state of Israel grew beyond the original borders set by the United Nations. Many Palestinians ended up in a thin strip of land called Gaza or this landlocked area called the West, Bank or Lebanon.

And and before you think about how barbaric it was for Israel to eject these people I Want you to look at your neighbor. The only reason that you are alive today is thousands of years ago, someone from your tribe wiped out someone from a competing tribe. You have the luxury of being able to clutch your pearls at Israel's actions because your tribe won the war before social media I mean I'm sure everybody in Florida feels horrible about what Andrew Jackson did to the seminal Nation but then they're like, you know, it is nice we don't have to shovel snow. so that's the root of the conflict.

You have a country that just wants the right to exist, pitting itself against a nation of refugees that don't feel like they got what they were promised. And that's the general background. What's going on right now is that Israel is activating its reservice and life is going to get pretty hard for the Palestinian. All right, yeah, it's talking about the 300,000 reservice.

but I Just thought that was an interesting uh breakdown that I Don't hear many people talking about of the early 1900s about a 100 years ago of what really, uh, how things were intertwined between really World War I World War II Britain Palestine and Israel and basically Britain trying to with the war fight turkey So they recruited Palestine and Israel and said hey, fight with us, we're going to give you your land and then from there it kind of got a lot more complicated when. uh, obviously especially on the Palestine side. they were not happy with the land partitioning. uh, but just I think that's a piece of context of History itself that maybe is forgotten right now of like what is going on there now obviously just from my own personal research on that I think there's a lot of oversimplification, but maybe for people who are just like new to all of this and you're like oh okay, like um Ju Just a Little Bit of a better understanding I'm not saying that that was the perfect explanation.

Yes, I do see it was a little bit oversimplified, but um, just for more context in terms of like the Western viewers people in America I think even that knowledge is something that is not commonly known of like the involvement of turkey World War I World War II Britain the land promises um I I just I I Think it's helped for for other people to kind of understand um how recent this all happened. as in like grandparents and great-grandparents like actively remember all this going on. Um, but also once again in terms of the history of the Middle East this is a little chunk of all the craziness we're talking about the last 100 years. before that the Ottoman Empire was running it for 400 years.

Before that Alexander the Great was involved. Before that we had uh, King David King Solomon. Before that we had the Israelites coming out of Egypt. Before that you had Abraham settling in the area.

My point is is that there's a ton a ton a ton of History to this region. and to simplify it as a as simp like it's inappropriate to simplify it as oh Palestinians are fighting back for their land like there's That's a very very loaded statement that I mean it's the game and I was saying this a lot yesterday of like you might agree with that but then if you just keep going back in history you realize very rapidly how absolutely complicated it all is. Historic history. Yeah I so blame it on the UK attacking turkey.

hey we could I mean that that's one of the fair arguments but then we could also blame it on like that would have never happened if Germany and World War II and turkey siding with Germany like it it just my. My point is is you see how quickly the entire thing snowballs and I don't think the appropriate way to solve it is to go back in history and say well, they had this because if you just keep going back you could argue that a different group had it in my opinion and I'm no war strategist or anything like that. In my opinion you just kind of have to look forward and just be like okay, well the history is a complete mess. What's the best way we can come to some sort of peaceful resolution? What's the most efficient way to really get peace now? Um, because it seems like we're going the exact opposite way of that and I think part of the reason that we're going the exact opposite way of that is really because everyone's like, well, you did this and it's a very quickly tip Fort thing.

And when you have 4,000 years at minimum of History you can be arguing about a lot of a lot of tip for tats a lot. Um, stop supporting Israel We need to fix this country, not Ukraine or Israel What the fuck What do you mean?
