I’m a Canadian but living in China so I have to use a VPN. What I noticed is that depending on the country I am in with my VPN, I get different content recommended to me. I subscribe to the creators I don’t want to miss and I receive their content no matter what country my VPN is in. I don’t believe this is ‘new’. It’s got to have been going on for a long time. I’ve been experiencing this for many years and it’s around the world, including the United States. Also, some content is only available in certain countries. Same goes for Netflix and Disney streaming. Also same goes for Twitter and FB news feeds.
Canada and the USA are totally communist and going to be like or worse than China. I’m American and they taught us about the holocaust in school and when I asked why we had to learn it, they said because history always repeats.

Being from Minnesota, that Russian border is closer than I thought.
The recent trucker protests had a significant amount of their funding come from American donors. It is probably a coincidence that many of the leaders of that protest are from an OIL rich province, are in favour of separation from Canada, and joining the US. We see many such outside influences to Canadian sovereignty from countries that have an economic interest in our resources. Focusing on Cancon is part of the reason Canada remains an independent and distinct nation from our southern neighbours. I'm sure many Americans will see these rules as an attack on their freedom, just as they see the seizing of their donations to the truckers convoy, as an attack on their freedoms to fund protests against other countries elected governments.
