the number up multiply it by a hundred like there's gonna be this much buying that's not necessarily true that's the theoretical max amount but it's not what will most likely play out in reality so it happens the question is to just what degree basically how many millions of shares are going to be bought by people who sold premium and they got burned on being the seller premium on june 2nd my options were up 17 000 that is insane can you please talk about how to tell if a gamma or short squeeze is happening you can't tell in real time you don't know buying is buying uh whether it's a short buying to cover a position whether it's a premium seller buy two hedges that are out of the money calls that they sold whether it's formal buying you cannot tell in real time buying is buying you can get a little bit more clarity two days after the fact because of the two-day settlement but buying is buying selling is selling buying aggression pushes the stock up selling aggression pushes the stock down if they're equivalently balanced well then the price doesn't move if the buying is more aggressive than selling it goes up if the song is more aggressive than the buying it the stock goes down it's that simple that's not like a short covering or a gamma squeeze or that type of buying impacts it differently buying is buying amc has traded its entire float i don't think it has no it get direct exposure to gold than not gold mining and it's a really small company it's it was diluted quite a bit it was worth 100 million they diluted it to 200 million so it's a 200 dilution it's just not a favorable setup i think it's more of a flash in the pan scenario if i had extra money i wanted to do in a higher risk thing i would put it right into amc i'm not going to do like a caveat bet in hymc uh lol mainly momentum not even a squeeze yet this to me in my non-financial advice opinion i don't think this is shorts really getting squeezed did some of them yeah i'm not going to say no shorts covered today i think some shorts did cover today did the lion's share of shorts covered today no i don't i really i mean we have a hundred million on shares on loan for 130 with an estimation of 100 million being legitimately short and we traded 200 there's no way half of the volume today was just purely short covering we would have seen a much bigger rip i just don't buy it the and then that's not even factoring in any fomo that's not factoring any of some of the premium sellers having to cover i just the numbers aren't at the level where they could have all just like covered in one day like that but my i have to be very very honest i think we're gonna get to the point where we do squeeze and then people are gonna be like nope it's not it and they're gonna talk people into not locking in their profits even though the shorts did cover and they're just gonna say no it has to go higher and once again this is the issue with price targets do what is appropriate for you but i really really think it's a bad idea to listen to price targets from other people it's one thing to want it to go higher which doesn't matter at all i'm right there with you i want it to go higher but all of a sudden if the shorts are covering and the trend dies well like you can want as much as all you can want as much as you want it's not going to make it go higher sometimes you have to dive into the data and dive into the metrics and not dive into silly price targets that you see on social media i like you could be depending on how you define it you could literally be looking at life-changing money depending on your bet that could be to varying degrees i fully understand that i'm just asking you don't fumble it don't just all of a sudden be like i saw this on social media it has to go to this price no no no you have to have your trading plan i'm begging you i'm begging you begging you begging you don't just arbitrary like do your research do your dd don't just be like it has to go to this value it has to go to this value twitter and reddit are especially very very bad with price targets that are way way way too impractical just math does not add up and then i see on other places where it's just simply too low so like this is why you gotta rely on you you gotta rely on your own plan you gotta rely on your dd your understanding of the situation uh do you think amc will see jamie like prices that's the same thing don't i'm gonna drill it into your minds don't be like it has to go to this price range i'm here for the trend if it keeps trending up and i'm looking for shorts to cover then i'm still in once do not associate it with a price level like that i think that's where in one scenario or another you could seriously mess up seriously seriously mess up if you're looking to maximize your profits that means you're trend following you're watching the trend not only of the price but also of the shorts it's not this idea of could it get to this tranche of prices i think that's a poor way to play the situation what is your estimated price target if it does squeeze this is exactly what i'm saying you should have no estimated price target at all like not even a realm of it uh i will not give a price target i will not give a date because that's not how this works anyone giving a price target anyone giving a date i'm telling you does not know what they're talking about there are simply too many unknown variables you enjoy the ride you get the meat of the move you're not going to top ticket you take the meat of the move and that's what you're here for am i holding till tomorrow yeah 100 i can tell you that just because like i don't think mathematically the shorts could have covered and since i'm riding this out like i'm still following the trend not only of the price action but also of the shorts and the price actions looking strong to me also we have no indication that the shorts have covered so no i'm not getting out i'm not even like close to thinking about that uh you sure have changed your tune no i haven't i've always always told people no price targets no dates stick to your own plan i've not changed my tune on that one second do what's right for you i'm not telling anyone to buy sell or hold you're a grown-up do what's appropriate with your money but i feel strongly if you're attempting to maximize your profits you follow the trend and you don't listen to like dipshit price targets or date call outs on social media all right are we going to get a push in to close i mean i guess we are on gme which is up 25 amc's up 45 this is just absolutely wild what a day what a day the casino is closed what a day what a day amc closed out the day at 29.33 which was a gain of 45 percent jimmy closed out the day at 189.59 which was a gain of 25 what an insane even bbby the reason we're talking about it is now because obviously ryan cohen closed out the day at 26 32 which was a gain of 16.5 what an insane insane day a truly truly insane day um here's the plan i will be making a market wrap-up video we'll be talking about amc gme bby and tesla they all had very important movements today so we'll be making up a wrap-up video i'll be talking about them we'll be going over ortex the data the trends the next levels of resistance that will be out in like an hour hour and a half um so that'll be coming out and then tomorrow i will be doing a full day of streaming or a normal day of streaming and i might do a full day if things are going to continue to go haywire don't forget crypto is also obviously there's no lack of excitement for amc but understand there's a lot to be money to be made in many many things including gme i mean tesla's going nuts bbby the overall market uh even mul ends up four percent like there's just a ton of opportunity there are many many ways to make money and i hope and i hope you're at least learning about it whether you don't have uh an investment or a trade on and those other ones that's like completely fine but i hope that you're at least feeling a little bit more comfortable in what the terminology is the technical analysis side of things of just like your general grounding in the overall market i hope everyone's starting to feel a little bit more comfortable uh will they build out the option chain more i would very very much expect them to it'll
