Matt, I feel like you’re making a comment without really thinking about it. On the surface that may make some sense assuming all is equal on day one. However, what you are not considering is the ability for Ape to rise drastically especially initially if there is no option chain or shorts available as the float will already be owned so if everyone holds and buys the stock can skyrocket. Next by allowing Ape to stay steady or rise by everyone NOT taking your advise to sell it it allows AMC to pay off its debt and that will be a major catalyst for the AMC stock to squeeze then the 10 dollars you sacrificed for the APE will mean nothing when AMC is at 500 or so!!

If it takes longer than the day he can issue these shares we will all be ducked!! Anyone that trusts AA has mental issues and must not have been holding last June!! This guy has done nothing but dump shares and screw the very people that saved his company and made him millions and millions personally!!! Under his management his shares were worth 2$ and thanks to all the working class people holding amc he sold of a grip of shares in the 20’s. We will not hit the numbers everyone has been hoping for if it doesn’t squeeze before these BS ape shares are Available to the master of dilution!! He doesn’t even put the shares he dumps on the market to give us all a chance to buy them
He makes back door sweetheart deals with the very people on the other side. Adamn Aaron is a piece of greasy dog shat!! He should try and do something to make the company he runs EARN money but instead his only skill is dilution. I have been holding and adding since last January I can’t wait to sell my amc and I will never watch a movie in an amc theater the rest of my life.

Did she really call AMC a quiet little movie chain?

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jeff and Diesel Dawg says:

I thought u would own it cause it’s gonna make u rich, once they have to buy as many APE’s as they are gonna have t0, won’t that alone make the APE value go through the roof and then add a real supply and demand. Now we got something IMO 🀞🏻

Can you sell your AMC on the 19 for full price buy back at half price n sell your all your ape n buy AMC n have nearly 3x your position

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Doc Martin says:

One question, everyone is operating under the belief that there are still millions of naked shares still in the float. What if there aren't? Could it be the squeeze has already been sqoze?

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars lenandov says:

If it turns out that $APE is optionable, then it will hurt MOASS.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars richard marous says:

    Billons of naked shorts

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dan Salzwedel says:

If you sell APE then you can’t vote against their future plans to convert it to AMC, so your AMC shares will then be diluted

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Doc Martin says:

Adam's first responsibility is to AMC. I don't fault him for what he is doing. This isn't going to help us. Aug22 AMC will be worth half of what was. At some point, I could see people start to sell to get some money back, or hedge funds sell their APE shares in an attempt to drive the price down. I think we would have been better off with a small dilution of AMC stock to get the necessary capital to retire the debt than what we have here.

If ape is released amc will fall when they dilute ape

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ruben Suarez says:

What if the broker do this……..they gives you the cash and not the APE … PROBABLY MY 50% IS INSTANTLY DILUTED

If the voting was close, it was rigged.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tedbear says:

Matt you do realize that everytime dilution happens that big institutions are the first to buy? Raising the price. Why would he not take advantage of big tutes to pay off debt making amc still the play?? It's simply good business

Was he also the CEO of SPRT and BBIG?

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars sebastien says:

Matt i 1000% thought the same thing. The ONLY thing i see about ape being good is no options trading to hide ftds. We could see real supply and demand meet head on. I kinda whana hang on to it to see but i could also just double my amc and it wont dilute at much. Also if they dilute ape wouldnt that also effect amc value

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TMxA SuRGe says:

Matt I know that raising capital dilutes APE not AMC, but if the creation of APE is going to cut AMCs price in half, then isn’t that just essentially diluting one half of the float? That’s better than the full float I guess but it’s still hurting those of us who have it

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick says:

AA is smart, he packaged it in a way that would create hype and hide the fine print to raise more cash. It’s good for the survival of AMC, but not for the short squeeze.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim Dixon says:

The APE unit does NOT support derivatives and can’t be shorted. Allow the APE TO rise in price …then hold or sell…then you can vote to put it back into AMC.

Think of an APE like HDK or METL

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars newfront says:

Once APE starts trading, the price will be determined by supply and demand. Your theory that APE and AMC will be $10 each is not quite correct. It's not an automatic equation. In practice what will happen is that the NYSE specialist (MM) will have some some nominal opening price of APE. Once trading starts the market takes over. If demand for APE overtakes supply (for whatever reason – maybe some shorts need to buy it or some kings want preferred versus the common), then the price of APE will move up. At that point, the value of AMC will likely go down. But not automatically. Because AMC has its own supply demand. It will not necessarily just fall off the cliff exactly by the same amount. One big difference in supply demand between AMC and APE is that shorts are short AMC not APE. If shorts need to cover they have to buy AMC not APE. There will be funds who want to sell AMC and buy APE instead. And there will of course be funds who will try to play some arbitrage.

What I see happen is a see saw type of action. At times the price of the two may exceed what you expected the price of the common was pre-dividend.

Why would thus be? Well, for one, this new issuance has fundamentally changed AMCs ability to raise capital and pay down debt. The whole M&A rationale is a red herring. What has now changed in AMCs future is that it can finally reduce debt, debt and debt. Before this, AA's hands were tied as shareholders did not approve any more issuance. Now he has carte blanche to use a different share without asking anyone.

But doesn't that cause dilution? In a sense yes. But that's okay because the sale of APEs will bring NEW cash to the balance sheet and the company can retire its debt faster and save on interest payments. Remember, AMC is still considered on survival mode largely because of its huge DEBT.

IMO, initially it will be prudent to watch and not sell either APE or AMC. We might be able to catch a good ride on both.

Fock ape shares and Fock AA He doesn’t want us to moass cuz he knows that we are out when moass is over so he is trying to take money from my amc shares to create ape and make more money for them and now your amc shares are worth half this is so so stupid fock him and ape shares
