It should come as no surprise that AMC is a volatile stock. Past stock prices show this. So to assume a steady ride up goes against common sense. The thing is, despite what the market shows, the situation with the stock has not changed. The company is still heavily shorted, the climate for movie theaters is improving, they can go on their current cash for a long time, the Apes support this stock, the CEO is supportive of the Apes.
