What's going on moong, i hope you're having an amazing weekend, so it's not that big of a secret that the stock market closed out the first trading week of march in a pretty odd fashion. I thought it could be helpful for me to give a quick recap of what's been going on in the overall stock market, and then i want to explain some of the opportunities i'll personally be looking for in this upcoming week. Just as a quick point of clarification, the stocks i'm about to talk about i'm viewing as a long-term investment, i'm not day trading them, i'm not swing trading them, i'm looking to get them on a quote-unquote discount and then i'm looking to hold those shares for years To come so, if you're looking for day trade swing trades, this is not the particular video for you um. I just want to clarify that up front and before we get into the analysis of what's going on in the market and the three stocks, i'm about to explain to you quick reminder that if you like this type of stock market content, don't forget to join up With the moon gang by hitting the subscribe button, and if you want two free stocks check out that link to weeble below you'll, get one free stock for signing up and then another one for depositing a hundred dollars right now, i'm getting a lot of users saying That they're getting amc as their free stock, so if you're on that amc squeeze train, maybe this is a great opportunity for you alrighty, let's hop right into it, so the s p 500, which is tracked by the etf spy, etf exchange, traded fund and just if You're new to the channel - just so you know the s p 500 is basically a basket of 500 of the biggest companies in the us.

So it's a really good barometer of what's going on in the overall market and the daily chart is on the screen right now so from a technical perspective here, what's here's exactly what's going on and i just wanted to bring your attention to this blue trend line. So if we look at this base on march 23rd and then connected to the next major low on october 30th, both in the year 2020, we see that, on friday march 5th, we almost had a breakdown, there's a very, very good chance that it got saved at This level, for a couple key reasons, mainly we're getting some positive progress on the next stimulus bill. I'm sure that definitely had to happen help it, but anyway, this brings us to a unique situation where i'll be watching this this week. If the market kind of falls over and breaks below it i'll be very hesitant and i'll be looking for a bigger dip to buy my stocks, but if we see some fall through specifically above 385, which is technical resistance.

Just so you know when i say resistance. All i'm talking about is a price level that the stock or the s p 500 has been rejected at by four, and i have that designated with this yellow line. So basically we see back here in late january. The overall market was struggling at 385.

We see the all-time high of 384. That's what's going on with these yellow lines, if we're below it, that's a support, and all i mean by that is an area, a price level that is bounced off of nothing too special, going on with that, it's just sites of bounces and rejections um. This white trend line here is this: upward channel is referred to as a bear flag in the world of technical analysis, um these commonly break downward upper channels break downward. It's just a big question of when it tried to break down three times before we're seeing if this fourth one is just a brutal, fake out breakdown, and if we come right back into it or is it an official breakdown? That's what we're waiting to see.
Of course, this blue trend line is the trend line from march connected to october of 2020, and then this red line is the one where i think that's going to be the main thing i'll be looking for to see if we get rejected there so i'll be Looking for, if the market is rejecting here, i'll i'll expect to kind of do an upside down u-turn and just kind of come back down to this 376 area or if we get a breakout, i think it's full throttle. The market will keep going high and some of these major stocks that i'm about to talk to you about all these stocks um. Just so you know none of these stocks, like i wouldn't say it's a comprehensive exclusive list, there's many many opportunities in the stock market. Right now, these are just three of the ones i'm looking at, and i think they are three prime opportunities that, in the long run, will be big money makers so overall make sure this is this entire video is on the caveat of the overall market performing well.

If it gets above 385, it gets above this trendline, i'm looking for a re-test of 394 and the next psychological level of 400. If it gets rejected at 385 or this red trend line, i will look for it to come back over to at first this region of support between 374 376 past that we have 368, and just so you know if the market does break below 368. The next stop is 360 350.. It's definitely a moment when what we would refer to as being risk off just so you're aware um this upcoming week.

The upcoming two weeks will be pivotal in the next major phase of the market. I think it will be a strong setup of. Are we going to go into another bullish phase and continue this run, or are we going to take a healthy check, i'm in no way calling for doomsday but a hill? A healthy retrace find a new support. Bounce off of that and then continue higher just so we know what's going on so now, let's talk about where i really think i see some strong, strong opportunity in the market right here.

First, one apple, ticker, symbol, aapl, there's a very good chance that if you're watching this, you might be on a mac, you have iphone. We all know who apple is. I mean it's a premier technology company, it's a it's a dominant dominant company and i really think, like they're, even expanding into other cool new fields such as ev, what they do. It always turns the gold awesome awesome business, but why i'm so excited about them? Besides the fact that they're, just a very strong business, is right now the iphone 12 in is in, what's referred to as a super cycle.
The iphone 12 is beating the demand levels of any any iphone we've ever seen before and as of now, the iphone accounts for apple about 50 to 60 percent of the company's revenue, and then, of course, we have other growing business sectors for them, such as, like Their health initiative with their watch, they have all that wearable stuff. They have the bundled services package apple ones. All this stuff is not only growing, but it's already producing billions and billions of dollars. In fact, just so you know, this is one free resource.

You could use seeking alpha uh lots lots of great information uh just so i don't make this video too long. I'm just gon na be talking a little bit about the income statement, but search your favorite company. You can look at their balance sheet. Their cash flow income statement - you can see what um wall street analysts are saying about it.

This is a great great free resource, but anyway, talking about apple. Remember. This video is for long-term investments. I want to buy hold for years, and just so you know all this companies i'm about to talk about.

Not only do i own, but i'm planning on buying even more shares very soon, so don't accuse me of being biased, because i fully admit that i am. I like these companies, and i think they will do amazingly well but anyway, back to apple, as you can see, from september 2016 to september 2020, its revenues have grown from 215 billion up to 274 billion. I love that growth rate and then over the trailing 12 months, we're almost pushing 300 billion in the same kind of growth in their gross profit. Here, 84 billion up to 104.

we're seeing growth even when the overall world economy had a really tough time in 2020. Apple was still growing thus far. It's uh gross profit over the trailing 12 months is 114 billion. The most recent quarter was one of it was actually the best earnings report ever for apple there's, a lot of reasons to be bullish on the long-term nature of apple and in terms of its chart, we've had a pretty hard sell-off.

Its all-time high is 145. On january 25th, since then, we've been selling off. I like how it looks like we're bouncing off the support at 120. I will be looking for a breakout of this trendline, depending on how quickly it plays out.

It's obviously a dynamic line here so i'll be looking to potentially pick up more shares of app on this breakout or, if there's a future breakdown, i would love to pick up. Shares of apple between the price range, a big range of support between 100 and 112.. The rsi on the bottom: here we have the relative strength index for those of you who haven't seen this indicator before when it gets very high. That's a lot of bullish momentum when it gets very low.
That's a lot of bearish momentum. A lot of traders use this as a reversion play as in they think of it as a pendulum when it gets very low. They look for a base to be built and the stock to bounce when it gets very high. They look to take profits and look for a sell-off.

So basically, this bike, this spike associated with high levels in the rsi - and it came down right here - we're seeing very low levels in apple, in fact we're seeing some bullish divergence. The stock has gone lower from feb february 23rd to march 5th stock has gone lower. The low on that day was 118.. The newest low was 117, but the rsi has gone higher.

That means that more more people in the bull camp are stepping in here than they were here and it's commonly a sign of a bounce. Obviously, nothing in the world of the stock market is ever ever guaranteed and no technical indicator is ever going to be perfect, but this is a strong sign that we're looking for a bounce. So that's getting me very excited to maybe pick up some shares between 120 122 and i would love to pick up shares closer to 112. apple premier technology company.

I truly truly don't think you can go wrong with a long-term investment in apple. Now, let's talk about another one in video nvidia, i'm super super excited for nvidia. Basically, the high level review of what they do. They make they're in the semiconductor industry.

They make the processing chips for computers uh their competitors are amd intel and many many others. A lot of people in the world of technology consider nvidia to very much be the gold standard. So not only do i think that the semiconductor industry is one that it's growing, especially as the rate of technology is increasing. These chips are very, very important, but i personally believe that nvidia is leading the pack just to give you an idea of where these chips are used.

Obviously, they're using our computers, um they're, very, very popular in gaming, to the best of my knowledge. Nvidia's chips are the most popular in gaming and i think this is an important sub segment and an important note, because esports the industry as a whole is growing at a phenomenal rate. So i think nvidia will be able to ride that wave. On top of that, we have data, centers, think about all this cloud computing.

I know we hear that terminology time and time again cloud computing, aws, microsoft. The list goes on and on all these data centers are very, very important and as of now, nvidia is not the number one chip provider for data centers, but it's making up um some room, basically chasing um amd and intel. But it's doing super super well and on top of that, these chips are also used in our artificial intelligence. So, basically, if you think that artificial intelligence will be more important years down the road than it is right now, nvidia is a good play to ride.
That wave, i love the industry. I love that they're leading the pack. I think there's many many reasons to be bullish on nvidia and as you're about to see their income statement really shows that from january 2017 to january 2021, the total revenues has gone from 7 billion. All the way up to 16.7 billion gross profit.

Awesome growth, 4 billion all the way up to 10.5 billion, we're seeing great great growth, and i honestly see no reason as to why it would slow down, in fact, there's even a shortage of what's going uh of these ships right now. The the world's demand for these ships are even higher, so that just shows how pivotal of a business a company like nvidia really is to the world economy uh similar to apple, i'm already invested in video. In fact, on friday, i had a buy order sitting at 500 at first. I was a little scared um because it like clearly went through that, in fact, we got all the way as low as 468, but i really really like this bounce off um this region of support between 468 475.

So i'll be looking for that in this upcoming week. Once again, i just bought about five more shares exactly at 500. um, i'm already invested in it. I think my average right now on nvidia is just below 400.

I've been buying it uh really. For the past couple years, but uh, if we see this region again - 468 475 in the next coming week or two - i will buy more and then i would buy way way more closer to this support at 432 um. I honestly think it's more of a question of when not really, if that nvidia gets back above 600 tracks up to 750 and a thousand once again similar to apple. This is a multi-year play, strong company, strong fundamentals, and i really think that the sky is the limit, especially as technology becomes more and more um important to the overall world economy.

Finally, let's talk about palantir palantir is a peter thiel company. I'm sure we all know who peter thiel is it's been around since 2003, but it hit the public market in october of 2020.. It had this high of 45. Since then it's been selling off a bit.

Let's come right back to this chart for those of you who i'm sure, you've heard of palantir but uh, just quick high level what they do. They're in the world of data analytics data storage. They have some pretty cool products, volunteer, gotham, foundry and apollo um a month or two ago they had a demo day event explaining what they do, and my background in the world of software engineering and truly truly what i saw from that event. Um was that this company is years ahead of any competitor their technology.

Is that impressive, and what's better than that in terms of like their core business, their main customer is the us government close to 60 of the company's revenue is from government deals and obviously the us government has very very deep pockets. So to me this is like data analytics is a growing field. The number one customer is the us government. So as long as taxpayers are continuing to pay their taxes, they're always going to get.
I mean this company works with the dod nsa they're, working with the fda they're, even working on some of this vaccine stuff right now, it's a very, very impactful company. So if you believe that the world of data data analytics will continue to grow, palantir is a strong company within it um just because it became public in october of 2020. We don't have that much data on it uh in terms of its income statement, but we are seeing growth from december 2018 to december 2020. It has gone from 595 million to 1 billion same thing for its trailing 12 months and then, if we look at its gross profit, we're seeing that nice trend all these nvidia apple and palantir all grew when the world was having a very, very tough time.

In 2020, so i like to see that strength when other people are struggling, um other companies are struggling. So to me, palantir is another great long-term investment. I had a more in-depth discussion with max on it. You could check out that interview on my channel he's a big fan of palantir and honestly at these prices.

I think it's just a matter of time before the company honestly doubles or triples very, very similar to apple and nvidia. I'm invested in this company already i'm buying more. I miss this opportunity to buy at support at 21 right now, um for this upcoming week. I would be happy to buy more shares of palantir between 20 and 21 and very very similar to apple nvidia i'll, be holding these shares for years to come from a technical perspective, i like how it the relative strength index is bending around similar to apple.

I'm. Looking for a breakout of this trend line and if we could get above this support at 25, i think the next stop is 29.31. So really, if you are a swing trader, i think all three of these stocks have interesting bounce back potential um. So i might do some call options, something like that in the short term, but in the long term.

I truly think that all three of these are winner. I would love if paluntier, i don't really think that it will happen, but if palantir somehow ends up dropping below 20, you can bet that i will be buying as many as i possibly can uh shares of the company, because i i think in the long run This one will be tracking back upwards once again to clarify everything: let's come back to the s p 500: these are the major levels i'll be watching, because if this does sell off, there's a good thing, there's a good chance that i'll be acting as headwinds, especially To some of these big established companies such as apple and microsoft, so if this goes down, it'll drag a lot of the market with it, but if we see this bounce continue, i think all these individual stocks will also be showing strength as a reminder, this is In no way a comprehensive, less list, i think there's a lot a lot of opportunity in the market right now, especially if the spy gets above this red, trendline, apple, nvidia and palantir are just three specific ones. I wanted to call out to you and also don't forget that, monday to friday, we're doing live streams. If you don't want to miss any of that or videos like this join up with the moon gang by hitting the subscribe button.

Bullish on Nvidia I get they do well. But correction they are a producer of graphics cards for both consumer, data center use….and now mining. AMD is coming up on their performance however in the graphics card segment and are going to start producing cards for the mining segment seperately as well. They already have influence in the AI, consumer graphics/ CPU, server and data center market. Intel is trying to join the graphics fray as well. As is Apple in the smaller devices so far. So it could be murky waters ahead for them as they are going to be facing stronger competition.
