Hello, hello, hello, welcome to the dumb money show for today, thursday april 5th and man. Oh man, do we have a lot to talk about? We got to talk about the big picture. What's going on in the world yesterday was the fed meeting i'll, give you a quick recap of all the good juicy stuff in there. Then we'll talk about some stocks, we'll talk about some crypto, we'll talk about some d, gen trades very, very excited um! Actually, a lot to get into, we have some individual stories for as in individual companies that we need to go over just so maybe we have a little bit of a better grounding for what might be playing out today, but as we've seen this whole week, i Expect nothing but a continuation in high volatility, and i think this will make a little bit more sense when we dive into like what actually played out yesterday, because it was absurd volatility.

We ripped to the high heavens yesterday after feb started speaking at 2 30. I'm referring to jerome powell so we'll get into the nitty-gritty of that, and then i just want to save enough time. So we can have a discussion of what's going on with the moon gang hive mind because we got to get our next trade in today. Now, before we get in on to that, of course, don't forget to hit that like button subscribe, just help out with the background algorithm, i appreciate all that, but also a special shout out to today's stream sponsor i'm talking about ftx.

Let me quickly get this okay, so ftx blockfolio is their phone app. That's in the description of the video it's free to download. Whenever you trade anything over 10, you actually get free crypto from them. You're going to get a free coin.

Now, what's pinned to the top of chat is actually ftx's professional platform, there's a us one and an international one, depending on where you're watching this from right. Now, obviously, the pro platform has a lot more bells and whistles really cool ecosystem. It has a whole nft ecosystem, uh, no gas fees. It's all done off exchange very, very cool stuff over there, you're gon na get cheap, cheap transaction fees, especially relative to their competitors.

All this stuff, you might as well check it out. The phone app is block. Folio i like that, the most just because i can log into all my various crypto accounts, see what my crypto net worth is at and right now we're seeing a nice nice bounce in crypto. So if you're like hey, i want to maybe get a little bit right here, see what's going on, i wholeheartedly believe blockfolio, which is their phone app or the pro platform is a great place to get started.

So once again shout out to the team over there at ftx and we'll talk more about them when we get into the crypto segment today. Now, let's talk about what in the world is going on, so yesterday was a bearish day at first and then it was a bullish day and then there was a bunch of haywire around 2pm and that's when we got the fomc meeting results. What you need to know there is this is the headlines of. We got the 0.5 interest rate increase so now in total we're at 0.75.
This was the biggest interest rate increase in the past two decades and in since 2006, this is the first time we've had it back to back now, at 2 30, when powell started speaking, we got a little bit of an idea that, yes, we're going to continue To get these at the continuous meetings, most likely all the way up to september and there's a very good chance, it's a 0.5 percent interest rate increase. Now that wasn't really the juicy thing. I guess in a certain way the fact that he was very very dismissive of doing a 0.75 percent interest rate increase. That was a little bit telling a little bit dovish of like okay.

They don't think it's that bad and that had a little bit to do with why we ripped to kingdom come, but what more people were paying attention to was the whole balance sheet runoff the balance sheet normalization, basically, the undoing of the nine trillion dollars that they've Injected into the economy to help us get over the rona era. Now what you need to know, starting june 1st june july august, three months in a row, they are going to be kind of doing the undoing of that situation and instead of injecting money in they're, going to be taking it out between treasuries and mortgage-backed securities. For the first three months, it's going to come in at 47.5 billion per month billion with a b starting june 1st, then in september, they're going to double that up and get it to 95 billion per month, basically until they undo the crazy situation that we're. In now, we don't really need to get into the nitty-gritty of it.

What you need to know is, this is quantitative tightening they are creating a less positive environment really in equities, because money is now going to have less of a supply with the same or an increased demand which makes money more expensive. Money will not be as cheap as it was basically circa, 2021 now. The reason we saw this pump is because they didn't come out and say something that was absurdly hawkish. There was no absurd statement that wasn't really predicted before the 0.5 increase in the 95 billion.

That was what everyone was calling for before we actually got the announcement, and then it was in line and then even if you're, looking at certain surveys, the fact that they're doing the three months, like kind of notching it up there starting at 47.5. Even that was pretty much expected, so it's one of these things of you're, taking an unknown out of the market markets, hate unknowns and as we were going into it, they're like okay, here's our expectations, let's see what actually happens and then what happened was what exactly Everyone was calling for and then they're like, oh okay, and then we ended up seeing the market rip, and then it looked to be a little bit more of a fomo. I bet there were some people shorting the overall market. This was one of them right there and i lost a lot of money because chat led me astray.
I know you guys didn't. Actually i was just being way too. Greedy, remember bulls and bears eat hogs get slaughtered. This hog got absolutely slaughtered over the past two days of trading.

It is not fun being my p l right now, but hey we'll make it back. So that's what you need to know about the fed is we're good they're, going to continue with the interest rate increases they're, going to continue with this quantitative tightening and the reason with the whole pop is. There was nothing special everything that happened was fully expected and, whether you believe him or don't the chairman jerome powell, was basically telling everyone that hey. I know people are saying we made a policy error.

I know people are saying we're behind the curve, but we're not, and he kept reiterating his confidence in being able to really give us a soft landing, and then he was even pretty dismissive of us going into a recession. Now, once again, i'm not saying i necessarily believe him. I personally think we are going into a recession between now and the end of 2023. I don't think they're going to be able to pull off a soft landing, but that doesn't really matter because in the short term it caused a pump just because you could be wrong in the short term and still write in the long term.

So, in this scenario, that's when it's more of portfolio management and making sure you don't get margin called like this guy did so yeah, there's various things to balance out and right now. Yes, we saw a pump in the markets. I honestly don't even think it's going to hold let's say to the next week. I don't think there's going to be much momentum or much gusto to this overall move.

I think this was a one-day affair. It was a spicy affair, but once again one day - and i think now more people are kind of looking at hey, it's cinco de mayo. Let's chill out, we got the fed behind us. Let's have some margaritas, let's celebrate and i think there's going to be big gains in your accounts.

I think there's going to be big volatility. The name of the game is identifying the trend and i'm currently of the position that i don't think this bullish pop is actually gon na, be, i think, it's if anything, a bull trap. I don't think we've seen the lows of may yet. Obviously, i'm not a financial advisor, you got to do your own dd.

These are my own opinions. You should never ever copy me on my trades, i'm just i know. Maybe it's a little bit pessimistic. I like to think that it's being realistic of what's going on in the overall stock market, so with all of that kind of out of the way, let's get into some of the important headlines.

So the dow, the s p and the nasdaq are all red. After that crazy, crazy pop in the morning, oil is really ripping. Remember. We've been covering, what's going on with europe kind of saying: hey we're gon na like really get off our energy petroleum dependence on russia, so we're seeing a pop once again in oil and as oil goes up remember.
That makes like that's just increasing the bill for quite a few energy or industries think about airlines. Think about cruise lines. Oil going up makes it just increases people's bills and yields are still pretty high, they're almost at three percent this and we're gon na. We talked a little bit about the housing market and that but interest rates are going up folks.

They are obviously going up five things to know before the market goes ding any ding, ding ding ding today april 5th, a beautiful thursday. Well at least, i hope it's beautiful, where you are wall street is set to drop after a strong, fed, driven relief rally. Uh. We went over that in nauseum we saw a pop, but right now the futures are red and, like i said, i'm for the remainder of this week for next week, i'm still leaning on the bearish side uh to as we were going into this, like i said, I think things were a little oversold and in the short term i was leaning bullish, but now that the market has fully accepted what this scenario is, i think we're back to the recent trend that we've been seeing well, really, starting since january 5th, fedrake hiked, 50 Basis points but took bigger increases off the table so, like he said, like i alluded to, he said no to the 75 basis.

Points said that there's it's something that they're not considering. I think we're going to look back at yesterday in the future when they do a 75 bips point and be like dude. You told us you wouldn't i would. I really think that might be coming in the future, especially if the economy continues to have better reports.

In terms of unemployment, yet inflation keeps going higher and higher and higher. I think it might kind of force them to be a bit more aggressive, but in the short term he said no and people took that as a dovish sign once again, all short term key data on the labor market is out over the next two days. This is very, very important. We are looking at labor productivity.

I have that article we'll be getting into it and first time jobless claims rose to an unexpected 200 000. musk secures funding on twitter bid from investors, including larry ellison, we'll be going over that ebay. Se drop on week, guidance caught up in e-commerce reset also, i believe in a similar vein, you're seeing shopify kind of get its teeth kicked in. So what i want to share with you so yesterday downstairs 932 points as fed raises rates, but powell rules out bigger hikes on the future.

Once again, just saying we're not going to do a 75 bips rate hike uh, they are over the course of three months going to jump up to 95 billion, taking that out of the economy, quantitative tiding opposed to what we had before when they were putting 120 Billion in known as quantitative easing we're flipping the coin on that, that's very important to know. What's going on in the big picture of things very, very important to know that with it it's going to come from meeting to meeting, i think really for the next. Now, five or six meetings, every meeting, i think, is going to produce absurd volatility as we're heading into it. I don't think we're like out of this period of massive massive swings and gyrations and noteworthy vagueries as we're listening to the fed at every one of their meetings.
The bank of england also following suit hikes interest rates to one percent the highest since 2009. So once again, it's not just in the u.s on a global scale, we're running into some pretty serious inflation british pound sinks, nearly two percent against the dollar set for worst daily drop since march of 2020.. I think that's absolutely wild and this obviously all ties to like, what's going on with their currency and their interest rates and their inflation. But once again this is a global phenomena.

On the flip side of that, the russian ruble has hit an over two year high. Even as the eu plans to intensify sanctions against the country with an oil embargo, the ruble - and this is something that we talked about quite a bit when the sanctions were first being levied against russia, it dropped quite a bit. There's been amounts of a massive massive excuse me bounce back in the ruble now in terms of the u.s economy. This is one of the important reports that came out.

Worker output fell seven point five percent in the first quarter, the biggest decline since 1947.. Worker productivity fell to star 2022 as his fastest pace in nearly 75 years, while labor costs soared as the u.s struggled with surging rona cases. The bureau of labor statistics reported earlier this morning, so obviously that's not really a good situation. Now, let's talk about some of these individual ones, and this one is going to be a group of stocks, particularly from china.

The sec is playing a little bit of hardball scc adds over 80 chinese firms, including jd.com netease and neo, to list of companies to be booted from wall street. Now this is something that was very much a hot topic: circa 2020, when president trump was kind of battling with china, and what this ties down to is there's a lot of chinese companies that are listed on the u.s exchange, but they don't go through the same Auditing process and the reason they don't go through the same auditing process is because the chinese government has argued it might be giving away state secrets if they do the same level of auditing that u.s companies are doing on the u.s exchange. Well, the sec is saying we don't really give a about that you. If you're going to be on our exchange, you have to be at like the highest level, a paramount level of auditing and it's kind of crazy that we're letting you on our change without it, and you might be saying like.
Is it really that big of a deal yeah? It's that big of a deal, because that's why we get situations like luck and coffee, which was trading at a massive premium, and it ended up being basically fully fraudulent and it was just lying about its numbers. That is the type of thing that auditing would actually stop from happening, so in really the sec with the task of protecting traders and investors. I understand where they're coming from now. Will they actually get kicked off? Well, they have quite a bit of time.

They have up till 2024 to hit the auditing check marks that the sec is asking of them. So right now, in the short term, there's probably trade, there's some like when this is building up momentum. There's going to be some downside, bearish momentum - i would argue this is definitely some negativity, but it's going to be up to the individual companies and really the chinese government of. Are they going to play ball and do what is proper and really come up to our auditing standards? Obviously time will tell maybe some of them will maybe some of them won't? Maybe all of them will maybe all of them.

Won't. I don't know i'm not in us politics, i'm not in chinese politics and i'm also not in the sec, but it is something to pay attention to, because this is going to put some downward pressure on these individual names. Elon musk said he secured another 7 billion backing for his twitter deal, including from a saudi prince elon musk secured an extra 7.1 billion backing from his proposed 44 billion twitter takeover musk said in a previous filing. He already has secured 46.5 billion among the new backers of saudi saudi arabia.

Excuse me princess. I don't know how to say that, so i just don't even want to butcher it. So on top of that, larry ellison is and then we actually have some crypto backers. As well, binance and sequoia among investors backing musk's takeover bid.

The exchange was among several firms to commit funds for the billionaires takeover of twitter, so quite a few big names are now piling up and joining team musk. So i just wanted to share that, because, right now with twitter, we know that the deal should be going through at 54.20. It's up in pre-market on this news as more and more develops. I think it becomes more obvious that the deal is going to go through at first people were questioning it of like okay is the sec gon na allow it are they all gon na? Do what they're allegedly saying they're gon na do in terms of twitter side and elon side, but the fact that more and more money is pouring into it.

It tells me that, like there's, actually a great arbitrage opportunity, all the way up to 54 20.. Now remember the deal not really it most likely won't go through until the end of this year. This isn't something that's going to be like oh, it's gone through next week. There's still going to be some time to this, but overall i i think it will go through.
Obviously, there's some room for error there, but i would be confident in this being a legitimate real deal and i think the alpha is right here. Between 50 and 54 20, because we know that's the price that was agreed upon - shareholders alleged activision, ceo rushed microsoft's, 69 billion dollar buyout to escape liability from misconduct at the company. So basically, this guy is now getting sued and activision had a whole host of improper misconduct, allegations against it, and then it seemed like when it was going through with microsoft. They were kind of trying to quickly take care of it, not necessarily sweep it under the rug, but some, maybe not most ethical.

Most moral things seem to be occurring and that's exactly what this lawsuit is about. So, if you're in mac division, mainly but even a little bit of microsoft, this might be a story line that you might want to be paying attention to cameo the app that the island boys are probably making almost all of their money off of you know the One where you like pay a celebrity and they're like hey just say this for me: really quick, um, not doing the best. A celebrity shout out app lays off 25 of its workforce. This is more of i guess, like an interesting thing to me, of how we're seeing a bunch of social media and tech get hit right now, maybe not really the most obvious one for you to trade off of because it's already now announced not really going to Be doing much and then you'd have to look at really what it's tied up with like it's vc and its backers like it would be more of an interesting play or um more of a difficult play.

I should really say like complex trade like you're, not just going to go actively trade cameo, but i just wanted to bring it up of social media really not not doing the best. It seems like some of the alternative social media is currently having still good growth rate, but your main ones, like the household name ones not doing the best and we're seeing a continuation of that amd earnings, show key products are taking share from intel. So i'm very obvious that my favorite semiconductor play is nvidia. My second one is amd, then my third is intel, and now that distance - i don't know it, it might become one of these things where micron might actually leapfrog it.

So amd high-end server chip business is thriving and taking share from intel, so it's literally just losing revenue intel they're, i'm not saying i dislike it. I'm actually bullish on the whole sector. Intel might be able to pull things off because it really has been focusing in the world of crypto and making chips for mining. So if that gets like another resurgence and we're going to be covering this later, but the hash rate just hit a new all-time high.

So there's still a lot of mining going on and if intel positioned itself to be the golden child of the mining world, i could see that as a very, very viable opportunity for it a very viable, but in terms of what's going on right now, one of Its important business sectors amd is kind of beating it up a little bit whoa. What is this breaking news? Holy cow breaking news, breaking news, elon musk, expected to serve as temporary twitter ceo after deal closes folks. This news is literally just coming out. Elon musk is expected to serve as a temporary ceo of twitter for a few months after he completes his 44 billion takeover of the social media company according to cnbc wow, literally just breaking news, but i guess uh perag get in the boot and elon adding another Feather to his cap, i literally there's not much to it.
I can't add much more. I guess just let me know your thoughts below, but it looks like elon um like just beefing up his resume. I suppose so we were speaking about college and aoc's take on it and some people agreed with me. Other people didn't agree with me, but i really just don't think this concept of paying for everyone's debt is the appropriate thing to do, and it's not saying like.

Oh okay, like someone else just getting a benefit, it's like well, taxpayers are paying and like should people who don't want to go to college pay for other people who didn't want to go to college. I think the crooks in this scenario, i think it's adding a band-aid to a gunshot wound to just pay off the loans. At the end, i really really do. I think the issue is colleges itself.

The cost of college has gone up dramatically in the past couple decades dramatically, and i just don't think you really get your bang for your buck anymore. College graduates are overestimating their salaries, they'll start out by 50. 000.. That's crazy, as hiring demands continue to increase the average starting salary for the class of 2022 is projected to be more than 50 000.

However, current college students expect to earn twice that at 104 000 in their first job. Does anyone see issues with that there's? So many issues in this whole debacle colleges are like rapaciously increasing their cost, the loans - i don't even think it's borderline, i think, are straight up, predatory and then it's leading to a situation where there's so much societal pressure that you have to do this and i Think it's really warping the mind of these people who have to make the decisions at the age of 16 17, but by the time they're coming out they're off by a hundred percent, the average starting is 50 and they think they're going to make 104.. So the whole dynamic of it - it really is it's kind of disgusting, because it's pitch that, yes, you think you're going gon na make this money much money, so you think you'll be able to pay off your loan, but the reality of this situation is far far Different and like i said, is it something that clearly needs to be fixed? Is it a big issue or higher education, at least in america? Yes, 100. I just don't think that the solution is some is something as simple as oh, we'll just pay off your loans.
I i don't think that fixes the problem, if anything that like will still continue the problem. It'll just continue to snowball, so this one just came out and i wanted to share it just because we've been recently talking about it and i just wanted to share this - has nothing to do with the markets. I guess a little bit of real estate, but it's more of, i think what we should all aspire to do, maybe being able to buy a park avenue condo for almost 71 million dollars came in at 70.5, making it the most expensive home sold in new york City in the past year, despite the building being riddled with design, falls that caused flooding and electrical explosions. Do you need anything else to tell you that the real estate market is insane right now, 70.5 million and it's being riddled with design flaws that cause flooding and electrical explosions are who's, taking crazy pills here that they're going to spend that money for something that isn't Basically perfect, i just don't get it.

It's an 8 000 square foot apartment was uh previously two separate units, so they did a combination. It's 432 park avenue, obviously beautiful beautiful views, but this is just another thing that we talked about it a bit yesterday. The real estate market, whether you're, trying to own or just rent, is becoming ridiculous. Yes, i admit these views are great, but honestly, this is a personal thing for me.

If i had 70.5 million dollars to burn, i would not be buying a condo in new york. I would be buying a plot of land and i don't want to see anyone else. I want my own house on land and i don't want to see my neighbors at all. I the fact that someone would pay this money and you can still hear your neighbors is insane to me.

If i have this kind of money, you're damn well sure it's going to be spent where i can live and not see another human being. I don't want to hear another human being. I don't want to see their cars, nothing, nothing! Nothing! Nothing! Leave me alone. It blows my mind that people spend this kind of money and, like you still have to deal with neighbors blows.

My mind absolutely blows my mind. Now, just because a couple people were already asking just so you know gme short interest, still 20 cost to borrow 6.5. These numbers have not been changing much uh i'll show you amc's, but once again it's just. This is what it's been for the past month, 19.

Still, a lower cost to borrow utilization 100 free float still uh around 26. short interest 19. It went up a little bit this morning. These numbers just simply have not been changing uh.

So that's where that right now we have low volume, low volatility. I just want to give you that quick update, just because there's already a couple questions coming in about it, so we're seeing markets come down a little bit and i need to actually put up today's poll and all right market open red, green. All right. We did establish some new rules for the game and i think we need to make them a little bit more well defined, and this is something that will, i think, come with time.
Uh as we realize it, and really it seems like the biggest issue. Is this guy right here? It seems like i'm the biggest problem in this whole ordeal uh, but what we'll do today is basically with the rules that we saw yesterday. Uh we are going to just start to implement them is how we're going to do this? I have the code up, but what i need to do is while you're voting, the current idea was to go for the wheel, so we have most of it dominated by a hundred, then there's 250 and then there's also 500, with the least amount of odds and With all that being said, let's give it a spin, let's give it a spin, so this will be the profit target and then you guys are going to decide red or green all right. So the profit target is 100 easy, peasy, lemon squeezies, and then i just need you guys to continue to vote continue to vote, continue to vote all right.

So we have that we are looking good um as we are getting into the bell. Opening, obviously, don't forget, today's stream is sponsored by ftx sign up for it. It's completely free. It's pinned to the top of chat.

That's the pro platform. Once again, it's free and then in the description is blockfolio, which is their phone app uh they're, both owned by ftx. They recently acquired block folio. I shouldn't say recently: it was.

I don't know at this point probably a year ago now, but i really really like the phone app and then, if i'm on my big, monitor and stuff, that's where i'm using the pro application so check that out. But once again the opening bell is brought to you by our friends over at fgx all right vote vote, vote i'll. Give you guys a little bit more time, 45 more seconds for your votes to come in we'll stop it at 9. 28.

Then i'll get the code set up and we're gon na rock for the day we're gon na rock for the day, uh 100. I thought you'd be in the range of 250 to a thousand uh, no 100, 250 500 and as the account builds back up just because i wrecked the account over the past couple days. That's when we cannotch it up um a bit more, but right now, there's also pretty high margin and just in the account like, i simply just don't have enough money to like swing that many contracts type of a deal, matt you're only nine times away from doubling Your money to a milli, i like that liam i like that, all right, let's throw up some of these other ones, just as we're getting ready, how's amc i mean jimmy, actually had a pretty nice green day. I see some people talking about hymc that one's up 35 right now.

So let me get over to this. Let me get over to this this this this tesla, well s shop, i believe, reported and shopify got rocked horrocked all right, we're going to end the poll. It looks like the bears ended up winning this particular one. So let me make sure that the code is good, uh, short, 9, 30, so short one contract.
We are looking for a profit target of 100. We are ready. I think the code's good code is checked. Your votes are in and we'll do another one afterwards.

Well, when you guys hit it we'll be able to trade more. If you guys are right more rapidly, the more rapid you are right, the more trades. I suppose we get to do all right all right. Our right or right, the one minute warning: okay, okay, okay, okay, we are good there.

We are good here. We have about 30 seconds to go team, and this is all coded up. Let's put in your parameters, uh as we're getting don't forget to destroy that. Like button, let's pop this up to over a thousand likes by market open help me out, and then, if you're over there on rumble how many rumbles are we at right now we're at 45..

You know the rumble team needs to show up just just click. It give it the old little. Clickety, click, click, click, click, click get ready. The casino is opening in three two one.

Best of luck to all order filled best of luck to all uh hello. Oh it put in the target at 112.. It was off field all right boom. Did it easy? You guys saw it.

I didn't do anything, it filled. It filled again and now we're up so with commissions and everything that was 110.. Now we well. That was just like way too easy.

Almost borderline, anti-climactic um. I guess we'll just do it again at like 9 35. that was super easy team, uh easy peasy lemon squeezes that was 100 bucks there. We could be done for the day now.

Just imagine if i like 100x, that you know just without like that was easy. Peasy lemon squeezies, all right, we'll do another poll, ud gens, we'll run it at um. I don't know we'll run it quick, we'll run it by like nine okay. This is for nine.

Thirty, five, nine thirty, five, nine thirty! Five pick 935 red green. Ask your community! Let's do it 99 more times we have until we have 10k uh. Imagine if your audience gets in trouble for being your financial advisor, you guys might all right we're one for one right were: how much did we make we made technically 112.5, we locked in all right, so you guys already got two points. Well, 2.25 points all right.

All right, all right, if you want you, could kind of be like a little bit more. What are we? What are we looking at? What are we looking at? You could wait till like pretty close i'll, stop it like at 9, 33. 9. 34.

Just so like we're as close as we possibly can right now, the oh we're actually getting close one. It's close, so i don't want to ruin anything. It's close to 50, 50., so make sure you're getting your votes in just past my series, 7 exam a year and a half ago i never traded a sock. I started watching your videos made money, learn ta.
Now i work for an fa firm thanks matt your vid changed my life. That's so awesome shout out dc, that's so incredibly cool. I appreciate that. I really really appreciate that and, like that's so sick, i hope you crush it.

I hope you absolutely crush it all. Right, let's spin the wheel just so, we know how much we're playing with. We are spinning the wheels spinning the wheels spinning the wheel. All right, you guys better, be on the ball today, because we landed on 500.

no messing around on your votes, no messing around on your votes, all right, we hit the biggest one, the biggest one. This might take a little. This might take a hot minute to get filled a hot minute to get filled all right. What's your vote, gon na be and pull you guys, barely picked red barely picked red, but hey that's the name of the game, the name of the game.

That's a 10-point drop that we're looking for. I hope you guys know what you're talking about. I really do. Oh man.

I hope you guys are good. Oh golly, oh galio, galio, galio golly! Well, let's see how good chad is. Let's see how good the chat is. All right 20 seconds until it fills and it's gon na to get 500.

That's a 10 point move. So if it fills roughly around 45 we'll get or 44 whatever it is, we'll get. The fill at. Obviously, 10 points lower all right five seconds.

Let's see if the code works, workity, work, work, field, all right, we're filled and automatically go down all right. So it's trying to lock in 475 and that's just like the difference between one bar to the next. So there's a little bit of movement but we're looking to get the fill at 34.50 34.50 and it automatically goes the other way. Oh team team team team team team team team team team, mr nice guy time to get effed well, i believe in all of you nothing but pure trust.

On my end, i've realized that what's led me astray in this is margin calls and when i trade, but legitimately, if i had enough margin at all times and only did what you guys told me to whether red or green and just stuck to it, like literally Just didn't mess with it and i kept enough money in the account that i knew i wasn't gon na get margin called. I actually don't think you would have been wrong on any of them, so this one, the margin call is basically i i try to talk to tradestation this morning because they, like recently increased their margin, so the position was entered at 4244 and i think they said The margin call is 60 points away, which would be 4 300.. So basically, if the spy pushes 430, that's where i get margin called but other than that i'll just leave it look, mom no hands i'll, just i'll hold. What you guys told me to hold is the profit limit, the same as the stop loss, no they're opposites, so the profit is where i'm trying to lock it in that's where i would like sell it for or like close the position for a gain um.
The loss is a loss limit, the other way when it goes against you vester matt. I don't vote because i don't know what i'm doing. No, no! No. We need your vote then, like that's still, this isn't this isn't for people who know what they're doing.

Obviously, this is for everyone, if you know what you're doing, if you don't know what you're doing we're basically trying to capture randomness, we're really making fun of all of wall street and how they think that they like somehow, are special and have special insights when, in Reality, it's there's a very famous study that was done of how monkeys outperform hedge funds - and that was just like the title of it and what they did was they looked at the returns of hedge funds and in that same time period they basically randomly picked stocks And that's why they're saying a monkey could outpour perform a hedge fund and i believe they were like throwing darts or whatever you could just pick something random and a lot of the times. That's actually better than hedge funds, like they don't really have that much special edge that much special alpha. So the whole point in doing this is just showing that, like literally doing random ass or like the goldfish that beat wall street bets can still commonly outperform. It's just wall street people like to put themselves on a pedestal.

They think their fancy pedigree makes them somehow elite or better or gives them special insights when in reality it doesn't - and my whole point in doing this - is showing that literally just following the randomness of chat is like profitable. What else do we have going on all right? Give me my money just so for those of you keeping track at home, we're trying to get the fill at four thousand two. Four thousand. Two hundred thirty four point: five.

Four thousand two hundred thirty four point: five. 4234.5, that's the target and we are in the position at 4244. 44. 44.

44 right there. So that's the entry, that's the target and the margin call would occur all the way up here at 4, 300, pretty much flat. That's where we're at in the game! But right now spy a little bit flat, q's kind of doing whatever they're doing. I have to admit with the first two bets this morning, the downside bet and then the additional downside bet i'm in agreement with both of those.

So there's some of the times where you guys told me to do something i was like, don't know if i would do that, but i am. If i was you guys voting. I would have voted the same way. You guys did this morning, shopify pop in a little bit twitter, i'm kind of just watching that 54 20 level, but i don't own any twitter.

How is amc doing amc holding above 15 that's become a big battleground on amc in terms of gme. Both amc and jamie have very low volume this morning, but hey, i guess, that's just. What's going on lately, uh everything's a little bit red? The only real green thing i have on my list is twitter. Oil is up oil's, been ripping how's occidental, looking oxy.
This is the warren buffett one. How is devon, energy looking devon energy almost about to go green? How is exxon mobil energy coming down a little bit, even though oil is popping up to 110 interesting ost people are calling out ost a electron. Oh i mean this is just craziness so day one. It did well, then it came down, got halted down again halted halted, it just halted all the way down now it's doing i would just stay away from this.

One ost is just kidding it's like like if you're short, i think, that's reasonable, but this is not a good scenario day. One its public debut was solid and then it quickly this train, just like, fell off the tracks like this is looking really really brutal. I would be um, obviously it could go up, but i would be afraid to be long honestly. I just wouldn't even touch it.

That's how i would handle austin austin technology group ost. I would handle this by just not training it. Matt hymc will help amc up. Uh i mean it, it will but remember it's really really small, like really really small.

So if hymc goes up, that's good for amc, but it's very much a drop in the bucket type of a scenario because remember hymc, amc's investment into hymc was 27 million dollars. Amc is a: how much is it right now? It is valued at an eight, it's an eight billion dollar company. So, even if that investment in hymc 10x's that's a quarter of a billion for an eight billion dollar company, so yes, it will help but understand the scale of it like even at a 10x result for hymc. That's when it's getting into like kind of moving.

The needle, but it would have to go even more than a 10x investment, just recall the size that amc put into hymc. I think it was closer to 46.. No amc side of it was 4748, but they went in with a partner that other guy who's, like known in kind of the mining world uh, but amc side of it, was around 28 million it just like it wasn't like a billion dollar investment. It was 27 mil and we're talking about an 8 billion dollar company.

I mean they spent pretty much as much on that as they did on the nicole kidman commercials all right spy. What are you doing a lot of things? Twitter has a nice trend. Let's see what the big options players are doing this morning, uh thus far dominated by the puts 55, but we are only 13 minutes into the day, adobe eight days out uh, i want the short uber someone got a put for one day out on uber 154. 000 uh we have a wall of spy, puts and also a spy call, but obviously the put walls bigger 420 for eight days out a spy call for eight days out.

Amazon put and shopify put one day one day, tesla call eight days. Micro strategy call eight days: tesla put one day: q put one day, amazon put one day, uh tesla call tesla put one day one day so right now, i would say it slightly favors in terms of the options market, they're slightly favoring, a bearish play out between Today and tomorrow, but like once again slight uh, a spy put just came in 182 000., a tesla put a tesla put 71 days 71 days. Spy calls just came in a spy put just came in uh 423 people are watching now on the spy, interesting crypto. Taking a little bit of a breather field, oh holy sorry, did you guys hear that we just got that phil uh? I completely missed that we were even close, but right here we got the fill um, so that was a 500 well.
It was 475 technically 475.. All right, you guys know what that means. You're up to bat again, you are up to bat again, so the next one in terms of size and i feel like i should tell you this beforehand. Just so you know all right.

We're gon na figure out the size of the next one. Okay, we're going for a hundred, so we're going for two points. So this one should be relatively easy for all of you. We're going for a hundred all right, i'll, save that.

But then i need you guys to select your direction all right, so so far, you're two for two: it is 9 45.. We will run this at 9. 50.. 9.50.

Pick 950 pic red green. Ask your community all right! It is up. It is up. It is up um someone just asked if i'm doing calls or puts no uh.

This is all through the futures market, i'm trading a futures contract just because it gives you crazy, crazy leverage, crazy, crazy leverage, all right, all right, all right all right. So this one! Oh sorry, i always forget to cover that wheel, so the next one we're going for 100 easy two-pointer. So i think you guys can really nail this. I think you can nail it all right, while i'm waiting for all of you, i am it's an espresso break.

Where can you trade futures uh on most brokerages, like you can't do it on shitty brokerages, like robinhood or weeble, but um, think or swim? You could do it on tradestation, you could do it on interactive brokers like e-trade, you could do it. You just have to apply for a futures account on those brokerages um if you're gon na. Do it remember folks this guy right here, i'm a degenerate. I am a degenerate gambler.

I just i don't. I just bet on everything if it's futures options, equities sports at one point in my life i was betting on. This is not a joke like folks. Listen up if your manager is talking to you if something like, if a customer's talking to you, tell them to shut up.

You have to understand who you're dealing with here at my first internship i was out in seattle. That's a lie. It was my third internship. I don't know why i got that wrong, but yes, at some point in my life i was interning in seattle.

I got there early and my job didn't start for a week. Do you know what i did that entire week through crypto? I forget the name of the website, but that's the only way i could sports bet, except there was no sports going on because it was the start of the summer. The only thing that was occurring was a youth icelandic soccer tournament, an entire week of my life, and this is going to sound weird. I was basically trying to figure out the best youth icelandic soccer team.
I possibly could - and i bet way too much money on way too many games of just these kids, these teenagers playing soccer in iceland. It was crazy, i don't know if i won or lost, but i remember i did that for a full week of my life. So you're not really dealing with someone who like has the best. I don't know ideology on money, the best respect for money, i'm a degenerate on, degenerate, matt christie and i are in skipper marine ireland for the week just bought a house.

It's 2 47 p.m. Here, do you want me to tell you what the market does the rest of the day you will have the edge? I would love that irish. I just told my branch supervisor to shut up. If you don't remember, if you won or lost you lost, i just like the rush.

You know all right, oh wait, uh! I need to end it and pull. Would you guys vote you guys voted. You guys voted green this time around green uh right i'll have to run it at 9. 51..

I'm a minute off, uh uh. I was too busy with my story. All right code is updated. You guys wanted green we're going for two points.

Are you guys sure you wanted green? Like? Are you positive about that all right? We are good good, good, good, good good forgot to vote. How close was it? It was 52 to 47. So it's actually a close one um, but this one's for two points i mean, i think we could easily get two points it's running in 30 seconds. This is your 30-second warning.

This is your 30-second warning. Let's go baby, let's go baby 15 seconds 10 seconds. Let's do this, let's do this, let's do this, let's do this. Let's do this.

Do this go, go, go, go, go, go, go order, filled order filled. I guess we're going for 87.50, a little bit of a come on come on. Come on, come on, come on! Come on come on, come on money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go! Order, boom boom goes the dynamite plus 87.50. All right, you guys, are on the ball all today today, today, hey today today, today, hey you guys are on the ball all spin wheel.

What's the next one gon na be what's the next one gon na be the next one gon na be we're going for 250, so we're going for five points. Five points: five points, five points: we will run this one at 9.5 for 250 aka, uh, five points red green. All right poll is posted. I'm updating the profit target; okay, okay, okay, okay, we're going to run this at 9 55..

You should show us what you're doing so we can copy. Well, you definitely shouldn't copy, but i'm telling you everything, i'm telling you what i'm going for. I'm telling you the time, i'm getting in, i'm literally giving you the full details of the entire trade of the entire trade. Alright, alright, alright, what's it gon na be, what's it gon na be move the wheel? Why do i always forget about the wheel? What's it gon na be, what's it gon na be all right? I'm gon na give you 45 more seconds to vote 45 more seconds to vote.
Stop copying me said every kid ever. What kind of calls and puts are you using i'm not using any calls or any puts i'm using a features uh and according to the current margin, i will be. It would get margin called if i don't have a stop loss, which i don't um at the like. A loss of, i guess three grand for today, but that's a little bit uh up in the air.

Okay. 9. 55. Short we're going for 250.

That is coded in the order is sent well, the code is sent and we are waiting for this 45 more seconds. You guys nailed that nice little pop now. Are you gon na nail? A five-point drop? Is the question? Are you guys all right? The code? We are going short shorts, one on that vote. It was 50, though, like you guys were real close very you guys, aren't dominantly voting one way or the other like they're, always pretty close to flipping a quarter which i find odd like.

Why are you guys not feeling good about some of these trades like? Why is it always so so close? Let's get going order filled order filled all right this one's going for 250 exactly we got the fill at 224.50, we're looking to take profits at 219.50. Uh. All right is this: gon na get the fill right away. Bada bing bada boom come on.

Let's do it fast. Let's do it fast, my fellow degeneres, this degenerate, a pi of mine, is on the ball. You guys are going to help me make back all my stupid losses. It's been, it's been brutal, come on give us our money.

We deserve this money. We deserve this money. Um people are asking. How much did you pay for the play? It's not quite like that.

You just have to have the money in your account to cover the margin and the overnight margin is different from the daily margin, but right now, today, trade, this the margin requirement like basically, what your account has to be worth is like six thousand one hundred fifty Dollars, but if you, if it goes against you by 62 points, which is about three grand, you would get margin called, so it's more of like you, just have to have the money in your account. It's not like you have to put the money up like with an equity, hey. We just got ta fill. So congratulations.

You guys are four for four. You just made 250 250 250 250 and if you guys get on the ball uh, i could we'll do this. We'll spin, it again spin wheel i'll put up another pole. 10 a.m bet 10 a.m bet and we are going for a hundred dollars.

Apparently this time, a hundred dollars red green, all right, ask your community, so we're going for a hundred. You guys understand that and i'll switch it back over to here. I'll switch the code uh we're going for a hundred and we're going for this code is so funny because there's really not much to it like when everyone talks about like fancy trading, algorithms and stuff. This is actually like super rudimentary super rudimentary all right.
What way are you guys, gon na vote, i'll? Give you like 45, more seconds 45 more seconds, which way are you going to vote? Teach us about margin trading, so this is all on a like. It's a little bit: okay, here's what's weird about futures, so futures are naturally it's a contract like the way options are a contract. Futures are also a contract and you just have to have your money to engage in the contract, and then you have to put up a lot of money if you actually exercise a contract similar to an option of like okay. You have to have like your premium and then, if you want to exercise it like a lot of times, that could actually be like quite a bit more money.

Uh. Let me end this poll. You guys voted green okay, so we're going for two points and the reason i'm doing it. This way is just because it's highly leveraged um.

It would be one thing if we did this on the spy, but i'd be making a couple cents while in the futures market. Just to give you guys your like, degenerate fill. I wanted something leveraged where it had money. That meant something to you.

It meant something to me um so anyway, right now and margin can change. The margin is based on volatility. So if volatility comes down like when i first started trading, these the overnight rate to swing one of these, like what you had to have in your account, like your account, had to be worth at least six grand right now, it's over 12 grand it's been higher. It's been lower, for example, if you're looking at the oil futures market to swing it overnight from one of the contracts.

It used to be three gram right now, it's 19 grand! So my point in bringing that up to you is like it's based on the volatility of the thing that you're talking about and it ebbs and it flows of what you do or don't have to have in your account. So that's why i was saying this morning. I can only trade one account because or one contract, because the margins like it's been increasing, um, so just crazy, crazy, stuff's going on there crazy, crazy, crazy stuff, but order hey order, filled we're going long. It's trying to lock in a hundred and twelve fifty one.

Twelve fifty uh the hundred, so this is tied to the s p, five hundred, but every single point. If we go from four thousand two hundred twenty six to four thousand two hundred twenty seven, that's actually fifty dollars. One point is fifty dollars and it trades in increments of quarter points. So it goes from four thousand two hundred twenty six point: zero: zero to point two: five to point: five to point: seven: five and then four thousand two hundred twenty seven.
So every single tick is twelve fifty and then obviously every single full point is 50. Now this is the micro contract, esm, 22, um and so es is the contract m22 these roll over. So when you hear about quadruple, witching and that stuff and time to make like the next, oh what'd, you guys do on this one uh, oh uh, oh spaghettios, bounce back, bounce back go go, go um! There are smaller ones. So, there's also.
