Is $50 an hour. The new middle Class I Know that sounds so outrageous to say for people to live with these cost of living and what's bizarre aties are not matching up at all. There are people with fast food joints with no experience that can get started for 16 an hour, but yet there's job postings where they want a bachelor's or master's degree starting you off at at $17 an hour. That in my opinion is minimum wage I Talked to a guy who was a bartender.
he was serving a strings last weekend and he said he used to be a school teacher and he quit because he was only making $50,000 a year and when he bartends he makes over a 100. Grand So he's like why did I even go to college and do all that But that's why this whole thing is out of whack. It's not like all wages are necessarily like meant in the market to be survivable wages like sometimes you have like a younger unskilled Workforce that has some utility, but they're not necessarily like paying their mortgage and their bills and everything like that.
We went to starbucks on my wifes birthday. And they had the doors locked and her ordering app wouldn't work. It was drive through only due to staffing shortages. We saw they had a job ad up at 22 per hour.

Yes that is the point of the minimum wage Bill if you read it from when it was created the minimum wage is supposed to be so that one person can support a nuclear family on that salary and it just has never risen the whole time
50/hr is a great wage as long as you don't want to live in these expensive cities…..you want change people, move to other areas of the US with much lower costs of living. Take away the demand and prices will drop

The fucl you talking about? A teacher isnt a "beginner" job, and the overwhelming majority of productive jobs have the capacity to pay even their most unskilled workers several times more.

I don’t know y’all. I make 40k a year. I have a car. I have a place to live. I do small trips. I have savings. I live in a city. I pay my rent. Some of y’all are not struggling the same way people are really struggling.
With the college debt I have to get to $50/hr, I am not really making that much.
They have dumbed people down to auch a degree. They vote for people by their emotions and not intelligence. Democrats in history have never done anything good. Only wars and poverty.

MOST wages are right around minimum wage. If not ALL wages arent meant to be survivable then MOST of the people in the US don't deserve to survive.
MOST survive on those low wages with TWO incomes at least in my area of NY.
So $50 an hour livable wage may be the case in more expensive areas like California, Florida or NYC. But not far off in many less expensive areas.
You can live comfortably off 2k a month just stop buying designer shit trying to be someone your not and learn how to manage your money
Bro I work at Wendy’s just to have a job for the time being until my injuries heal and I can go back to being a forklift operator. Going from $25 an hour to $12.75. It’s impossible to survive. My dad had enough money for me, my mother, and my 2 siblings all on one job, with no college degree
Yea, to bad the majority of jobs fall into the "unlivable" range.
40 Dollars an hour working full time nets 80k after bills taxes food etc you can't even take a vacation
Minimum wage should be 25 hr in CA at this time. Until gas and rent and taxes go down
