This is going to make some of you angry. As student loan payments resume, the President cancels 9 billion dollars in debt. The President detailed 9 billion dollars in new student loan relief, saying it would provide a boost to the U.S economy as he sought to reassure Americans resuming payments that the administration is working to ease their debt burdens. According to the President, this kind of relief is life-changing for individuals and their families, but it's good for our economy as a whole as well.

Now if you ask me, this seems like the wrong decision, but let me know your thoughts In a comment below.

Clearly you didn’t do your research. This is debt that already should have been forgiven but wasn’t due to administrative error. It’s not blanket free forgiveness

    Dam shame….
i worked my 9 to 5, paid for a home, started a family while working two side gigs to pay my loan off, so i can enjoy my family. I even delivered newspapers on my way into work to help pay my loans off. If i would have known i could have gotten taxpayers to pay my tuition i would have never made a payment 😮

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Clint Udy says:

My wife had a massive amount of student loans forgiven. Loans that should have been forgiven 8 years ago for working at a nonprofit for over a decade.

I can tell you that it does make a huge difference. We won't have a huge payment over our heads allowing for us to continue spending. That spending is discretionary income, which does improve the economy.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars krwblue says:

Why does it seem like a bad decision? Cause you didnt get any of it? You didnt even make an argument. This is coming from a canadian btw

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nope says:

Basically, if you received a degree that supports the agenda being pushed, your loans are now paid for.
