If you are not struggling financially right now, then you need to consider yourself completely blessed. Like don't even consider yourself. You are completely blessed like every time. I Check my local mom group on Facebook I See requests or people asking where they can get some financial assistance to pay utilities or assistance with rent? It's concerning because these people are working full-time jobs and they just can't make things work right now.

For example, this morning a woman posted she's an RN working two jobs and still is struggling. That's crazy I Know we're all complaining about how expensive things are for me personally, like my car insurance doubled in August my health insurance went up by like 20 30% Something like that was cra0 for two vehicles. There was no reason for the increase other than they just increased me. all.

I Ever hear about from people is how astronomical their utility bills are? Man I'm curious like are you guys seeing that yourself.

Not knocking what your saying but as l see it most people will never make enough to not struggle. My wife and l are living very fine on an income less than $40k. How? Its all in your finances. We have no cable tv. In fact our tv is 10 years old. IF we watch it we watch antenna tv. Or vehicles are 15 years old, so no payments. Insurance did go up but we get by only on liability. We have a mortgage but no other loans. We have no credit cards, so no money wasted on their interest. We have no gaming systems, we have hobbies. We go out to eat maybe once or twice a week. The rest of the week we eat at home. (But not heat and eat.) We dont go on cruises. I cut my own 3 acre yard. We have a well and septic so no water bill. We do pay an electric bill. But have the windows open as often as possible and turn off the HVAC. Hanging your clothes out on a line to dry will help greatly on the electric bill. Our kids are grown so we have that advantage. If we buy something or go somewhere we pay cash. We furnished our home with antiques. It's cheaper and the old stuff last's longer. I buy and wear work grade clothing. It lasts way longer than designer. Used can be as good as new! Our phones are about 5 and 6 years old, not the latest and greatest. Take better care of what you have. My suggestion is to look at where your pay goes each week and see if you could cut back on expenses here or there. Instant and convenience food and such are astronomical in price, and not that heathy. Maybe a smaller house in a less prestigious neighborhood would be better. Just because you qualify for bigger or better doesn't mean you should. I will leave you with this: the poor are poor because they live like they are rich, the rich are rich because they live like they are poor. Get control of your money.

Yes. I feel every bit of it. Throw in child support and I literally would be living in my truck if I wasnt remarried. I doubt id survive and I work 6 days a week at a very physical job. The more you do the more you make…… I do about 10000-12000 cases a week while the guys in 2ND does 7000-8000. Im down 40 lbs In just 5 months. Im 6’2” and 150 lbs. skin and bones.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Zer0 says:

    Blessed? Nah. I deserve it.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Debbie Leaming says:

Yet our President and this administration repeatedly tell us how good we all have it. How the GPD is booming and jobs are through the roof, but all I see is my empty pantry, my empty gas tank and my empty bank account.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Escobales says:

I can only speak as a Pennsylvanian but many utility/service providers offer assistance in forms of grants or payment plans. Most students, military personnel, and first responders are offered discounts. Many companies offer resource for living benefits. ALWAYS ask for a discount or a promotion. Shop auto insurance every 5-6mons. There is tons of help or programs. Unfortunately you'll have to hunt it down. Its never made easy but available. Hoping the best for all struggling.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Just Britt says:

Yup in the last yr pretty much all bills have doubled food prices insurance everything. My hubby and I both work full time and barely make it

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars jaa dee says:

Shop your car insurance every 3 years….
I get say All-State 3 years, then I get statefarm 3 years then geico, I just get the GOOD new customer price, in 3 years all credits have disappeared so I disappear to.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hey it’s me says:

Do you think that it’s maybe due to bad financial decisions and living above your means? Let’s be honest here. That RN MAKES GOOD MONEY. Where did it go? Probably bought a car they can’t afford and a house that’s too expensive. DONT BE FOOLED PEOPLE!

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alex Guedea says:

Hug your liberal politician who is throwing YOUR earned wage taxes to welfare cheats

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars old king Crow says:

I didn't even vote in 2016 as a 27 yr old (which I now regret) but any honest person notices, or is slowly noticing, that there was a struggle shift right around 2020..

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Fiery154 says:

Im blessed because I budget. I plan and stick to my plan. Get a budget and work it and it will change the direction of your life and family.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jonny- B says:

You can't forget a lot of people just have TERRIBLE spending habits. That IS unfortunately a lot of it. But not all of it. Probably not even most. I guess I'm lucky. Had a family business to get into as a teenager, worked weekends in high school, and took that trade-skill and do my own business on the side too. I sacrificed to pay my house off, been driving same piece of shit truck for 10 years. Been investing for years. Don't really go out. Stay home and cook meals. I don't buy "toys" and shit. My utilities are cheap as fuck. 2-3 hundred a month for electric, water, phone, internet. Like $70 for my truck insurance. Though health insurance is $350 a month (gov't covers $400 of the rest)

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars effizzybabe4u says:

Come to Canada. What she's paying, sadly, is nothing compared to here

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris C says:

Do the one thing congress can't seem to do. Make cuts in your budget. Turn the lights off, stop buying Starbucks, wear a sweater around the house, stop going out for dinner, etc.
Ex: I stopped buying Jameson; that's $60/mo. Those kinda things add up.

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Capone the Cane Corso says:

Yup. As a millennial I’ve felt like this most of my life. 2 jobs 365 days a year and just surviving.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sharon Ann Rowland says:

If you voted Democrat stop bitching you did this to yourself

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars IncredibleDrone says:

Also it's eye opening that you spend all your time on Facebook, talking to your mom groups and not working. We're at a lack of accountability in our world, not a lack of work opportunities and money

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars IncredibleDrone says:

I'm so blessed to work 18 hour days 7 days a week and take care of the kids. All so my family doesn't struggle… Maybe get up and work when the kids go to bed? I'm on my 19th cup of coffee today because I have to be for my family. Try harder.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars skylineranches says:

My homeowners insurance went up 40%

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars semaj afara says:

It because these women spend their money on shite such as clothes etc 😅

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Millzwood says:
