Is $100,000 a year enough for a family? I Made a post yesterday about how Americans are really struggling and it was really sad and eye opening to me to see the amount of people who said I make six figures now yet we're still struggling. It's it's not the dream life anymore. Like if someone would have told me my husband and I would be making what we're making and still having to cut back on Necessities I would have been like you have to be kidding me like we didn't even go on a vacation. It's vacation on a credit card but we didn't have extra money to bring our kids on a vacation and we both have good jobs.

So if you think $100,000 is enough I'm curious. what's your location? Do you not have children? Um, like why do you think it? Why do you think it's enough? Because I'm telling you from yesterday's post on here, the comments say different. it's definitely not enough in New York I mean obviously there's different areas, so different cost of living. but if you're in like an urban city No dude.

Dude she is absolutely right if you have kids. It is hard to pay all your bills, buy your food, make sure your family has everything they need, and dont even get me started on making sure you are saving a little something for yourself…..(retirement) on 100,000 a year. When i was a kid i thought if my family makes this much i will be set… 20 years later we do and it is still a struggle. Sure yes if i saved all my money and didnt eat out, didnt do fun things ie (Didnt make memories with my family) what is the point of life, if you cant enjoy it. The way things have gone is ridiculous. I am also getting really tired of all the people who dont have kids saying its not that hard. Pay for three other people then get back to me… That includes insurance food medical schooling entertainment everything. You pay for one maybe 2 people it is different. Also you probably have roomates 400 a room is a little different than renting or buying a whole house……….2000 on the median i will go low to make sure you can comprehend the difference big numbers i know…

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars B Wilder says:

Though there are many families who make 30K-50K a year and survive as well. It’s called, you cook for your family and don’t buy processed food or go to restaurants, it’s called you use your clothes multiple years and get hands down from older siblings, it’s called one Christmas present instead of multiple, it’s called there is one TV in the house, not one for every child and so on…

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Garrett Ware jr says:

But what car, size of home and lifestyle depends!

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MARK CRAINE says:

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars gemma brewster says:

Didn’t have money for a vacation? 😂😂😂 Average Americans don’t even know what that word means. Love to hear more about your cutting back of ‘necessities’. Pretty sure there is ALOT more you can cut back on
