Foreign, Foreign foreign in here. go the other way. There we go a little bit better. a little bit better.

Oh, now it's a little too much. I Don't know. Maybe maybe we just need to go the other way. There we go.

We'll see how that one works folks. It's Monday Morning. It is a great, great, great, great Monday morning I Hope you guys had an absolutely phenomenal weekend I hope you crushed it. Whatever you set out to do I hope you absolutely annihilated it.

We're here with another probably ridiculous week in the market. I Mean thus far since the start of April, it's been chop City But this week buys a size like market cap we're having over 40 percent. Over 40 percent of the S P 500 is reporting this week based on market cap size. How absolutely ridiculous is that? Um, pretty much the only one that's going to be left out is the Apple And then really, it's every single major Tech stock that you could think of.

So of course we'll be diving into the app we're going to be diving in just to some other weird things that are kind of blown up on the internet right now going a little bit viral. I Do want to dive a little bit into kind of this concept of not only seasonality, algorithmic trading, but from there I Also want to take a little bit of a venture down the world of is the world truly going to quote unquote D Dollarize? What is the likelihood of that actually occurring? So I Want to be getting into that as well. but before we do any of that, uh I wanted to let you know about like a big change you guys you guys know I've been I've been crushing the stair stepper just day after day, week after week, month after month essentially the stair stepper King and I randomly decided over the weekend that I am bored of this I don't know why, but it just hit me I was like okay, cool, like I'm done with this cardio stuffer now so just got completely bored of it and now I think I'm going to do a bigger pivot into straight up lifting. uh, still, same thing in the morning, but now I'm a little worried about how that's going to be impacting my whole ice bath routine because when you're doing ice baths apparently it's bad to do an ice bath right after you lift something with like the muscles rebuilding it like somehow slows the process I don't know I heard it once and I'm just taking it as like a truth.

so I'm not sure about that. So now I'm gonna have to like move my ice baths to like potentially later in the day. and then I was also thinking I'm like, well, if you're lifting in the morning, how does that impact your fasting? Because like, if you're lifting, you're supposed to get protein in you, creatine in you relatively quickly. But if I've been not trying to eat until the afternoon, how's that going to impact things? So there's seismic changes afoot, and I just want to let you know about all of that.

We'll see how it goes. We'll we'll definitely just see how this all goes because uh, lots of things in flux and as always, we try to keep the show permanently off the rails and this is just another step in that direction. I Know you guys never want anything. that's like too expected, too consistent.
It feels too usual, too normal for you if you will. So I figured no, let's just continue in our plan. Like the only thing that's consistent really here in the Mad core show is pure chaos 100 of the time. pure pure chaos.

So that's where we're at. Just a new flavor of the same old chaos. But folks. I Hope you had a good one I hope you made some wild on really unplanned decisions over the weekend based on absolutely nothing.

Uh, so that's where I'm at. I'm sure some of you have been watching the NBA Playoffs or whatever team you're rooting for I hope they're the teams that's winning and if your team has been losing I'm I'm sorry for you I'm I'm sorry that you have to deal with that. There's always next season, right? There's totally no reason to be mad about that and be taking it out on all your family, friends, and loved ones. right? You totally.

You're totally handling it like a responsible adult. anyway. I guess we should switch over to the market. Yes, there's earnings.

Outside of earnings. there's kind of other important corporate news. For example Bed Bath and Beyond We finally found out with the bond Beyond Is it is bankruptcy? The the big Secret's revealed, it's no longer kind of a question mark of like what is in that beyond the Beyond is chapter 11 bankruptcy, Bbby is Dunzo, Dunzo and really actually just not going to be a company. and I know I've already seen it on social media like this is what happens when you allow shorts to short.

This is what happens when you allow naked shorting. Was bed bath shorted? Yeah, it had about a 20 short interest. Are there any clear signs of manipulative Ftds? No. not really.

If anything, there's just the reason there's a short interest on it. A sizable shortage is 20. It's because it was a very poorly run business and a tough economic situation filled of management that didn't know what the hell they were doing. It's no surprise why Ryan Cohen pulled out at this point.

what eight months ago almost a year ago? Because he didn't like the management team, he thought the direction they were going was not a good one. And also with Ryan Cohen being involved that has a lot of other special things that need to be considered of a lot of retail getting dumped on anyway. But you're gonna see them, you're gonna I'm already seeing it out of Roger Hamilton who I believe is the CEO of Gns another pump and dump. Who's like, look it there, it only went down because of naked shorts and this and that.

No, they're full of. they're wrong. This is what happens when you have a poor business and a tough economic situation. They go kaput if you were still in it.

We've been talking about this seemingly more now over the past couple weeks. Um, if you were arguing that Bed Bath was some sort of investment opportunity, you were just clearly wrong if you were arguing that it was an active day trade. Okay, that's a completely different story. You can actively play to the upside: I think the odds are better actively playing it to the downside.
But ever since January January of this year, we pretty much knew they were heading towards bankruptcy Because the company itself said it. They said, hey, team things not going well. We're doing everything we can. They had failed Hail Mary after failed Hail Mary and it it just didn't work out.

The odds of it working out was already infinitesimally small and here we are. So if you're surprised by this I I don't know what to tell you I hope you didn't lose money if you made money because you were reading the tea leaves. You're reading the writing on the wall and you're like, oh no, this is going to end bad and I might as well make money Playing it. To the downside: Massive.

Congrats to you Massive! Congrats to you so we'll be diving more into that. I Also have a little bit of an update on Tesla for you. I'm sure many of you in chat um maybe you like Elon maybe you've particularly don't like Elon I don't know what it is, but obviously he's kind of a a cultural phenomena at this point between Tesla SpaceX Neural link Twitter All over World's richest Man Yeah, we all know who Elon is. Last week we had Tesla's earnings not so good Tesla recently has fallen from about 185 to I believe the low 160s now mid 160s.

Well, shareholders not so happy I believe 17 prominent shareholders in Tesla have all signed an open letter calling into question Elon's leadership ability and his attentiveness to Tesla. So it's all coming back to this like should he be the CEO is this proper fiduciary responsibility? And this is the same sort of rhetoric that we've heard previously. even when he was getting involved in Twitter of like hey, there's only so many hours in the day, how many hours of those are you spending on Tesla the thing that we're invested in versus this new novel shiny toy that you have AKA Twitter So we're going to listen to that that all went down on Squawk Box this morning. Then a little bit later after the Market opens.

We'll talk about the dollarization and also I want to prep up everyone in a general sense for all the major earnings going down this week. so that's pretty much going to be the show a little bit later on. after the D dollarization, we can take a dive into Crypto crypto recently popped now coming back down both Bitcoin and Ethereum. So I want to talk about that and then I also want to get into more so of just probably a new strategy creation with all of you.

Uh, speaking of which, if you want to do that, you can do it pinned to the top of Chat in the description of the video show. A little bit of love to Street Beat. You don't necessarily have to click on the link, you can just download it. go to your iPhone go to your Android if you're one of those people, which is weird.
But anyway, download Street Beat on the very first page, put in that referral code Matt M-a-t-t Simple four letters and depending on the initial size of your deposit, you'll get a bonus of anywhere from five to five thousand dollars right now I have almost 20K of my own money in it. You see my algorithms I share it with you I can give you the prompts. You can do whatever you want, but I figured we could do it as like a community. The people coming up with the best prompts like hey, we we can all do this type of thing together Matt Give N L S T some love Uh U P True Breed Let me write that down.

so I don't forget it Nlst Uh I don't know the ticker off the top of my head nlst I'm writing it down right now N L S T U P True Breed Uh, very very much appreciate that Rumble ramp that's so incredibly kind of you. Uh, happily diving into that. Well, with all that being said, folks download Street Beat. They are the sponsor today's stream pinned to the top of chat in the description of the video.

Just download the app and put in the code map anywhere from five to five thousand and also normal brokerage s capabilities buying and selling stock. But the thing I like about it the most that you can't get on any other brokerage is the portfolio strategy generation with their own proprietary data, fancy data science, all that nerdy stuff but also with chat apt so you're able to leverage AI like you could be doing it as soon as today I Think it's absolutely awesome, but anywho, with all that being said, here's a quick look at Street Beat. This is what the app looks like. Awesome stuff, but let's dive into the Old Market As of now, you can tell that in April we've done nothing on Monday April 3rd when we opened.

Well, really, you'd be looking at the close right here. We closed at 409. We're currently at 412. there's many, many trading days when we didn't do squats.

You could have been selling. Call: Premium You could have been selling put premium. You could have been selling whatever you wanted to sell and it worked out. premium sellers have been the people winning the game today.

Why is the rumble chat not popping up over here? Do I need to reload this? My Rumble chat. Uh, let's hide it not coming up today. there. Should we switch over to the old YouTube chat? The YouTube chat's not even coming up.

Rum chat isn't working. Yeah, something's currently down All right. I mean I guess we'll just we'll throw up the I wonder what the problem is? Uh, I'll dive into that. We'll figure this out.

Hang on. Let me see if I could just darken this a little bit. How do I make this? Because everyone has like a blue name Now What do I need to do? Chaos If you can figure out how I can darken this just so the YouTube uh chat can pop a little bit more. Edit Edit: Trend No, that doesn't Anyway, chaos is on it folks.
We just need to darken that a little bit. Uh did FRC report? No, they report this evening. Uh, so I'm going to cover that, but I'm an FRC I'm kind of nervous I'm not gonna lie, this is the Make It or Break It report for FRC We're gonna get a very strong indication of will. First Republic Bank Regional Bank that got drugged down in the whole banking crisis Silvergate uh, Signature Svb.

The one that con the next one that was about to fall was FRC and it didn't It didn't yet. It might it might not. I View FRC First Republic Bank ticker symbol right here FRC To be binary. Either this thing's going to go to zero like Bed Bath and Beyond or it's going to recover back to where it was roughly above 100 110.

It's binary I Don't see any of this middle game anywhere between 75 and five dollars being realistic. It's either going back above or we're going to zero I Don't know the odds I bought it I try to buy a quote unquote distressed asset and I hope it comes back and I'm holding I Forewarned everyone that this would be a little bit of a longer term type of a situation. Uh, just because if you looked at the recovery period in 2008 2009, if you looked at Bank of America City JP Morgan any of those, it took a while. This wasn't going to be like an overnight play.

That's exactly why I put into my long-term account. but we're gonna find out. I mean obviously I wish I got in here I wish I didn't pick it up at 40. I didn't think it was going to fall that much just because it was a well-respected bank.

It was a well-run bank people really liked. First Republic Bank But we're gonna find out we are going to find out this is the game of trading. This is a high risk Kyrie Word play I would actually argue FRC is probably my highest risk highest reward play thus far of the year and we'll see how it plays out. I I can't even put odds on it all I can tell you is it's it is of purely degenerate play if you did it.

congratulations if you went against me hey I I hope I'm right, but at least one of us gonna win money I don't know we're going to see how it's gonna play out. So I'm definitively paying attention to that tonight, but on a little bit of a larger scale stock futures are little change as Wall Street awaits Tech earnings Like I said based on market cap over 40 percent over 40 percent based on market cap of the S P 500 reporting this week and the number would even be way higher if Apple were this week. but I believe it's next week. Anyway, right now, the down the S P making a decent recovery basically now back to break even NASDAQ same thing they both have recovered in the overnight session: oil coming down a little bit 77 and some change and yields pretty much unchanged very quickly.

From a seasonality standpoint, we're going to be going over earnings. What you need to know: Coca-Cola and Phillips were this morning Coca-Cola actually did pretty well I will be diving into that this evening First Republic Bank And then just before the Market opens tomorrow, you're going to get GE GM McDonald's Pepsi Spotify UPS Verizon and 3M. In terms of today, today, seasonality is a little bit messed up. I Put it down as Leaning Bearish.
It was bullish for a bit, but over the past three four years, we've actually had a pretty strong bearish tone. But that's recently so. I just I put it leaning Bearish because before that, the Bulls won two out of three times. So it's kind of a neutral, messy day in terms of seasonality.

Once again, three four years ago, this was actually a very strong day, but obviously it changed recently, zooming out a little bit more. I Just want to remind everyone that from a historic standpoint, the conclusion of April As you can see by my cursor over here, it is historically pretty strong. In fact, as I've said many times before, on this particular month, this is from a seasonal perspective, one of the strongest months of the year depending on the time frame and the asset you're looking at. Typically, April is either the best or the second best month of the entire year.

This particular year, it's a little bit bullish. I Mean we went up a tiny tiny bit a little bit less than one percent. so the Bull's still technically winning, but not an outsized gain by any means. All right now, let's get into those earnings: Coca-Cola Earnings be estimates fueled by higher hikes and higher demand.

Our boy Warren Buffett is probably stoked because they topped analyst expectations fueled by Price hikes and higher demand for drinks. Their earnings per share was 68 versus 64 expected, and the revenue was 10.96 billion versus 10.8 billion expected. So they beat Coca-Cola here. Let's show you KO Doing well.

dividend strong. Look at that. Gap up of 1.7 Coca-Cola Making a strong recovery. The fact that it is makes me actually feel pretty optimistic.

Pretty bullish about Pepsi which we'll be reporting tomorrow. So similar to when we're talking about Delta United American southwest of how they're very similar businesses, that's going to be Coca-Cola and Pepsi I Don't see one doing dramatically well and the other one doing dismally like I Think it's going to be somewhat related. It doesn't always hold true, but I would say for most earnings, it is gonna be like that. So the fact that Coca-Cola had pretty good numbers I'm expecting the exact same thing out of Pepsi for tomorrow and did I figure hang on My producer is getting to me.

No hang on producer. Did we darken it? Yeah, he texted me I just want to darken this chat I am being told to fix this. What do I need to do? Edit: Filters All right, add filter. What am I doing I'm looking at I'm being told uh what do I need to do filter color correction and just contrast color color.
Interesting that these are not in alphabetical order. Scroll color correction, add Um, okay, nope. Well there we do. I Think this makes it pop a little bit more? Nope.

Nope. All right. I think this is where we're gonna get it to. Does that pop a little bit more? Can you guys read that a little bit more easily? Honestly, it's just the fact that you guys have blue names that makes it so you can't like see it at all.

But I think if I reload it, your name color should arbitrarily change. If you guys all comment something on YouTube we can get it going. Yeah, now it's just like arbitrarily green. Okay, cool, that's a little bit better.

I don't know what's going on with Rumble chat today I'll figure that out post stream anyway Coca-Cola Doing well they reported this morning Warren Buffett's happy he probably made a couple billion extra dollars on it and I'm expecting also positive reports now just because they are similar businesses out of Pepsi for tomorrow Luxury Goods Giant LV MH becomes the first European company to surpass 500 billion in market value. So Lvmh is all about high-end luxury. Brands I mean uh, you have Louis Vuitton Sephora I I guess they even own Hennessy They own some watch companies like the list goes on and on and on and on. but if you can name a luxury brand, they're probably in one way or another involved with Lvmh, especially if they're from France The reason I'm bringing this up is not that like I Don't think in here we're like particularly fascinated with this uh, but what I do find fascinating is apparently there's a lot of ties with it with Succession.

I Don't know if any of you have really been watching that HBO show I have I love it I'm not up to date so please don't spoil anything I'm catching up right now I'm on like the third season I've been having to watch it quickly I didn't even really know the show I don't know how I missed out on it I don't know if it was like lack of marketing I really don't know what is going on here and then it just something's going on. but I don't know what it was I really really don't but I missed out on it. And if you guys don't know about succession, it's about like this really really rich family. They all have kids and it's a they're all vying for power, who's gonna take over and apparently it's very similar to Lvmh.

So you have um, the guy who runs Lvmh I believe he started it but now he has all these kids and that's I Guess some of it's actually based on it of just like this vying for power and then it's also allegedly based a little bit on Rupert Murdoch who was, uh, involved with he owns Fox News and all that. So they kind of just I think they took inspiration from any powerful wealthy influential families and then obviously hollywooded it up a little bit. but I just want to share that with you. Also, it does say something about the fact that you have luxury fashion clothing drink Brands doing well.
Kind of tells me that retail out there is still very much spending money. We're also now just getting this breaking news: Disney begins second larger round of layoffs, bringing total to 4 000. that's actually kind of an interesting tie to what we have going on right here. Alphabet CEO Sundar Compensation topped 200 million in 2022..

folks, what the CEO of Alphabet AKA Google made 200 million dollars last year. In one year, it became a quarter of a billionaire. He's not even the dude to start the company, he's now. we're a couple.

CEOs later, 200 million. Well, first of all, that's a lot. Well, he made 226. But what I want to point out is kind of the awkwardness of it in all reality.

and I think you might hear? you? might be able to see it better here. I Don't want any of these words to be cut off. The CEO of Google received 226 million in total compensation in 2022, most of which came through stock Wards He was awarded 218 million in equities last year through a triennial stock Grant his annual salary was only 2 million. So basically he's not taking much money in pure payment.

A little two million. Still a lot I'm saying on a relative basis he's making I mean literally a hundred X that through his stock awards. The CEO's compensation package also included almost 6 million for personal security in 2022.. Now I've never been in a situation where I need personal security I probably never will be in a situation where I need personal security, but just the number seems like a lot I Don't know if anyone in here knows anything about the cost of security or anything like that.

If you could give us some insights to like is this a lot? is this a little but I mean six million? That's 500k a month I Don't know if security is a lot or like what's going on or what the dudes doing that he needs 500 000 worth of security a month I Don't know if there's like a dude following him around, but I I Just thought that was a little odd, but the most odd is right here other alphabet and Google principal Executives made approximately 22 million to 35 million in annual stock awards, so obviously the CEO getting considerably more. The report: Comes This Alphabet is initiating cost restructuring measures including layoffs in January that a limited eliminated excuse me, 12 000 workers or six percent of its Workforce Now call me crazy, call me crazy, but that's a pretty bad look when you have the dude at the top making 226 million in one year and then you eliminated 12 000 people 12 000 people I Mean it depends where they are and what they do, but it is a tech company and I Guess we could be kind of conservative here and assume maybe the salary is like 100k 150k Something like that. You could have employed a lot of those people. You could have employed a lot out of those people with a budget of 226 million And he's like, all right, sorry, we got to get rid of you, but he's happily taking his paycheck.
It's just a bad look I'm sure there's other nuances to it I'm sure you guys could yell at me in here and be like, well, hang on You have to think blah blah blah I Get that. I Get I Get it. I Get it. It's complicated.

There's nuances. My argument is from the high level, it's a bad look. It is a bad look when you're being paid a quarter of a billion dollars and you also laid off 12 000 of your employees. It's just it's a bad look man.

Oh, definitely a bad look. Bed Bath and Beyond Well, as I alluded to a little bit before, we know what the Beyond is. the Beyond is bankruptcy. The thing beyond the void is classic.

Chapter 11. Bed Bath and Beyond files for bankruptcy protection after failed turnaround efforts Bed Bath and Beyond filed for bankruptcy protection and has asked the courts for permission to auction its assets. The struggling Home Goods retailer has been warning of potential bankruptcy since early January And yet there were people who just didn't want to believe it. They like I Love how people go with this rhetoric of no, no, no, no, no, no, it's just because of the shorts.

It's just because of naked shorting. This is a great company. It's not fair at all. What are you talking? It was a company.

At one point it was fun, but then it became very poorly managed. Then, some of the decisions, especially within the past year and a half, were as dumb as it possibly gets. And just to boot, they did it in a poor economic situation. So of course, whatever poor decisions they made are going to get absolutely.

Amplified This right here is an example of a poorly run business in a tough economy. This is not an example of manipulative shorting of naked shorts. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that Bed Bath and Beyond was a victim of naked shorting. The only people that will say that are this stupid bag holders on Twitter who are telling you no, no, no, this isn't fair.

This isn't fair at all. They're just attacking us. I did no. They're arguing that because they put their money in it, they have no evidence.

They have no logic. They have no reasoning. All they have is the desire that they didn't make such a stupid investment. That's what it is.

We've been talking about this really since January I Remember that report coming out, but even more so now for like a year year and a half of it's just not a good company It is. It's simply they had one interesting asset. Bye Bye Baby Spin that off. It could have been its own thing.

Someone's gonna buy it out. That's what it is. Other than that, this is a failing business and once again, if you go on it, if you go on Twitter they're gonna make you believe that it was some sort of manipulative. Wall Street Attack it wasn't This is what happens with bad businesses.
They go down. Why would you want to be putting your money into a bad business? It blows my mind. It absolutely blows my mind. Yes, AMC and Gme are next.

We don't know. It depends on if they could pull things around. If if AMC and Jimmy make as many missteps as Bed Bath and Beyond yes, they will go towards bankruptcy. We've already seen other movie theater chains go bankrupts and world.

Uh GameStop I Don't know if they necessarily have like a direct competitor. Uh, it depends on it. depends on how many mixtapes they make. It really really does and we'll find out time will tell.

Uh right now I Don't have the most optimism of their survival I don't just because all I see is the leadership teams in both. More so AMC More so Adam Aaron Making egregious missteps but you're allotted x amount and if they exceeded, the companies are going to go under. it's not. And once again people are going to argue and they're going to and they're gonna moan of like no, we were just attacked, we were attacked, blah blah blah blah blah blah Adam Aaron Himself Multiple times there's videos that have said we've looked into it, There is no evidence of synthetic shares.

there are no, there's no evidence of naked shorting and you might think that maybe he's lying to you and maybe he's lying to you. but I don't know why he would necessarily. What would the advantage of him lying in that situation be? You have to ask yourself that I don't like I think he's telling us the truth of the information he has and so this just comes down to a classic fundamental situation. At first, the AMC and Jamie Saga was all about the short interests and this and that and like uh Market structure and manipulative shorting, blah blah but now the narrative has shifted to We Trust in the CEOs And we trust in the fundamentals folks.

I Don't trust in the fundamentals and I sure, as do not trust in the CEOs If you trust in the CEOs Any of these people I Think you need to get your head examine once. A suit. Always a suit. These people are suits.

They're in it to line their own pockets. They are not there to benefit you. They're there to benefit themselves and their family and make their bank account larger. If you don't see that you shouldn't be in the markets, you are too naive to be in this game because these are absolutely vicious players and if there's a little bit of blood, the sharks are going to be coming.

That's what this game is. I Very much enjoyed all this when I learned about Market structure and taking away the buy button and the internet cultural craze that it was. But if you're telling me that these are legitimately good fundamental. Investments You don't know how to read any balance sheets, income statements, cash flow.

the numbers are not good. From a fundamental perspective, everyone loves to go around on Reddit They love to go all around on Twitter and tell you that it's a great fundamental opportunity and then yet none of them actually tell you any of the fundamentals because they don't know how to do a fundamental breakdown. I Am not saying this from a person who's some phenomenal fundamental analyst because I'm not. But I actually know enough to know where my skill set kind of stops and that's it.
I Could do a basic breakdown and even a basic breakdown. Who will tell you things right now from many companies not to pick on? just Bed Bath or AMC or Gme or any of these right now. things are not the best in an overall situation. We are in a rising interest rate environment.

We are in a quantitative tightening environment. We are in QT We are in a world where people on an individual level are starting to feel a little bit more of that pinch. This isn't a time where like bubbles are made and everything's great. It's just simply where we are not this.

Ebbs and flows all the time. This is how the market works. We go through these. Cycles Recently we solved a tulip-esque cycle.

There was bubbles. Things got crazy high. It almost seemed too easy to make money. and now we're realizing what it's like to pay for that party.

I'm multiple different levels as small as your random little crypto coins to as large as the US economy to the global economy. these are the cycles we go through. anyway. Back to Bed Bath.

I Don't know why my lips are getting shot. Chapter 11 is so bullish. Um, how about Vorbq formerly Vorb Missing the buy button and options canceled? Well, the fact that it's Vorbq means it's now. Um, the queue.

it's on. whatever the gray Market the OTC market. It got delisted. Um, people think AMC is a good investment thanks to people like you though I understand what you're saying I truly do hear you for that.

but also when like you're not going to find me saying this is a phenomenal like people could project what they want people to say. but I mean all I can do is be in control of what I've said and you're not going to ever find any evidence of me saying man. AMC's a fundamentally great company. Many times I've said the fundamentals are improving and we are trending in the right trajectory, but I never made a statement that the magnitude of the fundamentals was in this great, amazing place.

Because anyone with a brain stem can tell you how could the fundamentals be good when the business itself the theatrical experience was closed for two years, that's not going to lead to good fundamentals. So I I understand what you're saying I totally totally totally do. but at a certain point that's people projecting what they want and like I have no control of that like I can only be in control of what I said. Uh, who is selling Bbby? Why sell now? probably the large large players that don't want to be involved with it anymore.
They would rather sell it like at some sense than zero Anyway, Bed Bath and Beyond filed for bankruptcy protection to ask the course for permission to auction with assets the struggling homes Goods Retailer has been warning a potential bankruptcy ever since early. January The company's 360 namesake stores and 120 Bye-bye Baby locations will remain open for the time being as it works to liquidate the assets. The only assets worthwhile are the Bye Bye Babies Bed Bath and Beyond on. Sunday Filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after it failed in several lastage efforts to raise enough money to keep the company alive.

The beleaguered. that's a great word Home Goods Retailer has been warning of a potential bankruptcy since early January when it issued a going concern quote unquote notice that may have not. They may not have the cash to cover expenses after a dismal holiday season. Yeah, not not looking good, not not looking good.

Millions of customers have trusted us through the most important milestones in their lives. From going to college, to getting married, settling into a new home, to having a baby, our teams have worked with Incredible purpose to support and strengthen our beloved banners Bed Bath and Beyond and Bye Bye Baby! Well, this is from the CEO Sue Gov Gov. whatever her name is, they put in a valiant effort I Really do I I Do applaud the team for trying to pull this off because somehow they threw Hail Mary didn't hit. Then they found a plan to throw another.

they threw Hail Mary over Hail Mary hoping it would lead to a touchdown. And unfortunately, this is the brutal underbelly of business, especially in a capitalistic economy. Not everyone's going to survive, especially if you're not producing the numbers. Sixth Street has agreed to lend Bed Bath 240 million in debtor in possession financing so the company can have the cash flow necessary to support operations through the bankruptcy process.

Bed Bath said it plans to continue to pay employees wages and benefits, maintain customer programs, and honor obligations to vendors Holly Etlin She's like kind of a big gun woman. They bring her in when they need serious things done, A lying long time retail turnaround expert and a partner and managing director with The Advisory Group Alex Partners has been appointed as Bed Bath Chief Financial Officer and Chief restructuring Officer. She's um, kind of a lady who like she's the cleaner. She comes in and cleans up big messes and that's what's going on right now.

Bed Bath and Beyond has finally succumbed to the fact its business is broken and filed for bankruptcy. While it's been a long time coming, they simply could not defy gravity forever. That's exactly what's going on What I want to say here and my best example of it, at least of recent history, is Revlon if you look at Revlon they said we're going for bankruptcy but that doesn't mean the stock just Falls to zero and it sits there. No, you can still have craziness in the stock I Want to be so incredibly clear about that? It's not going to last forever.
It's still. If you look at Redlon, it's not like it lasted. And like, all of a sudden the company was fine. No, you're still going to get volatility.

Most likely you're going to give all a little pop. So the upside downside. this side. like all, kind of depending on what's going on with the bankruptcy.

What this judge says what that judge says, what this lawyer decides to do. You get the point. Crazy things can happen, but it's all short bursts of volatility. Look at Revlon's chart recently.

Well, now it's going to do nothing. but recently there was pops and an all related to bankruptcy. but it all eventually succumbs to gravity. I Like that sentence because it's a very good way to explain what's going on.

So if you're watching Bbby over whatever the next couple weeks next couple months, yeah, there could be craziness. But don't get it in your mind that oh wait, maybe it's going to survive this. and maybe no, it's not. If anything, if I see a pop I think the fair argument is that you end up wanting to short it.

but in reality what I'm going to do is not touch it at all. I It's just the play is done. The play's been done ever since. Ryan Cohen Used the whole retail trading audience following him as exit liquidity.

It's been done since. What was that? August I Want to say or sometime last year? August September But ever since Ryan Cohen got out like when it all pumped up because people realized he bought calls but they like it was a misunderstanding of what the filings were. He rugged everyone on it. It's been done since then.

it never ever had a shot and now people are still there and now they're angry about it and they wish that someone told them not to get into it even though I was that person sharing my opinions on it. And now there's just like oh wow, if only more people shared legitimate understandings of the fact that the company itself said they were going towards bankruptcy. So yes, in the short term, expect craziness. There's going to be craziness.

but eventually gravity will win. Bed Bath has been hanging on by thread since. January In February they attempted a Hail Mary shot one billion in equity into Bed Bath, but the plan faltered and brought in only 360 million because people didn't want a piece of it. At the end of March, Bed Bath announced another stock offering and hope would bring in 300 million, but the new sent the share price tumbling and it struggled to raise the funds it hoped it to the offering would provide.

Right there it was trying to bring in 300 million through another stock offering, but it sent the share price tumbling. This is what happens when you do an offering. This absolute douchebag liar of a human. Adam That's what's going on.
He's trying to get people to buy AMC because like no, no, if we dilute it, it's going to be good and the price will go up. Dilution increases Supply If you increase supply and demand stays the same. price goes down. Do not be tricked by this soup.

He is lying to everyone listening to him historically when they announced that the offering is over. You see stocks pop, but that's if you get to complete the offering when you're selling You're simply increasing Supply This isn't rocket science. this is basic basic mathematics. Demand stays the same Supply goes up.

price has to go down Twitter will have you believe that somehow increasing the supply jacks up share price. It doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't.

It doesn't I don't like. No one could even offer argue the opposite even though they try to and their argument is just like well. Adam Aaron told us this. he is screwing people over.

He is. You have to understand the basic math of the market. It blows my mind that there's so many sick of fans out there saying no, no, no, no, no no no no no no no no no um it'll go up I mean time will tell I mean first, it's gonna. it's gonna very much depend on how the court hearing goes.

which I think we find out this week actually. But if the court rules in AMC's favor and ape goes back in, they're gonna do the reverse split. The price will go up, but we'll all have far less shares and then they're going to end up diluting it on any stock price pop like action To the upside, and we're not going to go anywhere with it. They're just going to keep selling and selling and selling.

As of April 10th, the company had sold approximately a hundred million shares and raised only 48.5 million in cash. It's not good. It's a failed business. It's going down.

Uh, it is not technically dead right now. Like if you look at Bed Bath it's not like at zero it's still trading. it's down I don't know another 33 right now. Um, it got crushed people right here upticked a little.

They thought it was a main look at it like someone who doesn't even know about trading, they could look at this if you didn't know the ticker, if you didn't know the name of the company, if you didn't know anything about markets and someone just explained to you what charts are, they're like yeah, no, this is the price action. per day you could look at this and be like yeah, no I don't think this one's doing well at all. Lower highs, lower lows clearly trending down to think that this thing is gonna somehow magically pull a U-turn I Just I Just simply do not agree. Um, so that's what's going on with Bed Bath a little bit later I Want to talk about Anheuser-Busch The Bud Light Executive getting fired I Want to talk about Tesla and what the shareholders are doing now? Not so good for Elon Five things to know before the Bell opens today tripped up: I Wouldn't say we're tripped up.
the Market's just not going anywhere like this is the start of April Where my cursors we have done a phenomenal job of just chopping people up. Tech leads a huge earnings week. So after the market closes today, we get First Republic Bank and then tomorrow Verizon UPS Jam McDonald GE 3M Pepsi Then we have Microsoft Then we have alphabet. then we have Visa.

Later on we get Boeing we get Meta we get Roku Then we get American Caterpillar. Uh, go to E-whispers on Twitter Feel free to screenshot this. This is the major earnings week. Next week is still a big one, but just market cap size.

This is the week to be paying attention so just want to throw that out there to all of you. uh NBC Universal CEO Uh. Shell exits something about inappropriate relationships. Yeah, inappropriate relationship uh I I Just don't really care Coke reports earnings.

They did well, which makes me believe that Pepsi will also do well. Bankruptcy comes for Bed Bath and Beyond We know that the Beyond is bankruptcy Bed Bath and Beyond. and bankruptcy. So we're going to have a couple of things to Circle back to Russia telling people to be a real man and then also what's going on with the D Dollarization of the world I Quickly want to bring up? Wait up True breed Nlst Net list a Semiconductor Company It's on the OTC market.

so I personally avoid the OTC market. but I really do I Really, really like semiconductors? Um, in the short term, medium term, and long term? Maybe not so much for short term. It seems like the market is pretty overvalued right now, so maybe I'm not in love with them in the short term. Um, but I don't trade Otcs.

it's just not trading on like a major exchange and there's a host of other I guess risk factors that you have to consider. Huge gap up though is up to 35. So for those of you who like high volatility plays of Cheaper stocks and LSD it's up a lot a lot. I'm gonna have to take a second to only look into what the company is, but I'm seeing the industry it's in.

and I'm definitely a fan of just semiconductors of what's going on with technology, what's going on with crypto and all that related stuff. But with all that being said, dignity, ding ding ding The casino is open. Best of luck to all. Play responsibly and if not, have fun.

quick question for all you. Well I have two questions actually obviously. uh, we're gonna be wait. wait I wanted to do something today.

This is it. Hang on I need to open this up lickety-splickety I Wanted to try something a one and two try something I wanted to do something in my uh, why is this not oppositions uh uh, options, options, options, watch list What am I doing options, orders, orders I wanted to try to get some a degenerate play. so I've been doing that 15 minute thing and unfortunately it was just not really working. um uh-huh Options, all widgets, options and widget.
The New: the new Weeble download is just not working for me I don't know if anyone else has been having a uh, a tough time with it fold in tap. Why can I not just add a widget? Yes I want all widgets? All right? Well, apparently adding widgets do not add widgets at all. this is hey, this is I just want to throw that out there. Well now I can't do it.

fold into the tab All right. Well maybe it's not gonna happen today because I can't I don't know what the hell they just recently did, but they made their Ux a little bit more of a pain in the ass so if any of you are experts of how to get it back into it, let me know Matt I just had to do an agreement on Weeble Yeah, there's a whole new download and everything. Uh, so I I Just did that and now apparently all my like save things are no longer saving. but um here.

I'll throw up Bed Bath just because I'm sure some of you are interested in it. So there's Bed Bath in the lower right down. 30 On the day Tesla had a nice pop up to 165. that was a resistance level or well, it was.

support turned into resistance right Here we're at it and now it's looking a little bit heavy. probably somewhat relates to this new shareholder an open shareholder letter kind of against Elon So we're going to be listening to that: FRC I'm in it I'm deeply underwatering and I'm in at 1460 or I'm in at 42. It's trading at 1460. it's earnings or after the market closes today.

So I mean the way Bed Bath was throwing a little bit of a Hail Mary it feels like I'm throwing a little bit of a Hail Mary now. so watching this Ah damn. Mullen Julian Really really liking that Malin But hang on, Um, up, True Breed. if you're still in chat I Would love to learn a little bit about like Nlst I mean obviously it sounds like you're doing pretty well on it.

so is there something about it that particularly excites you? Like I said I'm just I Don't really mess around in the OTC market. There's enough in like the normal market. for me. Uh, you can definitely totally make a lot of money there.

It's just at a certain point, there's only so much time in the day more. Banks Going down this week, all the major banks have already reported it and they did well. I would say the one that kind of messed up was uh, Goldman Sachs lost money in their Bond training and then Morgan Stanley basically fired off a pretty large warning shot of their exposure to the corporate real estate sector. So a little bit of stuff going on there.

Uh, so not people aren't like the most stoked about that by any means. Um, but other than that, the banks have actually put in like some pretty solid numbers. have definitely put in some pretty solid numbers. So I don't know? we're gonna see.

Yeah, don't forget to have Bior I I should have just shorted that I Hate. So Bior the artist formerly known as Prague is a great example of stick into your rules like before Prague was brought up I always pretty much had a rule I don't know anything about pharmaceuticals or medical supplies or biotech so I avoided it because I know it was very binary. they popped, they drop, it was craziness and I just didn't feel like I had an edge. but then like like many people, you get caught up in the social media pipe of like no, this is going to be a good one and everyone just got absolutely destroyed on it I should have stuck to my rule not trading and if I do trade it I tended to just like to short those because they were all like the odds of them dying were just so incredibly.
High Steve 200 in FRC at 1380. Now out of my own curiosity, folks remember I'm not a financial advisor I am not even a good Trader I am here to entertain and to hang out and with you folks. And if we end up making money together hey, it's a fun time. That's what this is all about.

So if I'm in something, if I'm shorting something, if I'm not playing something that doesn't mean you should copy me I'm not a person that you should be copying. Maybe if I had like the strategies publicly available, well that might be a little different because there's math to back it up. but in this scenario of me just saying hey, I think FRC might survive, it's just like it might survive I Did a little bit of research I Know it was a well-respected bank I thought that the run on the bank, the basically ripping away of deposits would stop and it seems like the deposit run or the deposits, um, all being withdrawn have stopped. but I don't know if they've necessarily been flowing back in and that's what we're really going to probably be finding out tonight.

So anyway, I Just want to preface it with that of hey folks I'm A. You probably would make more money by doing the opposite of me. but with that being said, I Do want to ask: what do you think about FRC Are you folks in here? Are you going long on? FRC Do you think it'll survive? Are you going against there? Are you like? no, no, this one will not survive. It's going to zero or are you thinking FRC I Barely even know her type of a situation? Foreign.

Okay, got it. Got it. Got it up? True. Uh.

I got the URL Oh wait uh. it's not letting me into that I don't have my E-trade account anymore you Peach Root read if you could screenshot it um and then send it to me on Twitter That would probably be the most efficient way. So you're saying buy Bed Bath and Beyond hey I know you're messing with me, but if you want to I wish you the best of luck I would not be putting a single dollar into it if I had to do anything with Bed Bath and Beyond I would be shorting it. There's like it's what did I see.

This is the the funniest thing I saw about it right here. This guy. He is the pump and dump harness of Gns. The pump and dump harness of Gns and he's already tweeting this out as West Christian says Naked shorts ultimate goal is to make their target bankrupt.
This is why we need to keep fighting. Bed Bath and Beyond They may win some battles, but they but we'll win the war. This guy's a pump and Dump. Look at Gns, a shitty education company that no one knows about.

He comes onto the scene, tells everyone it's naked shorts and that's the only reason it's going down. He gets analysts and this is all publicly available. You don't have to take my word for it. You can look into it.

He gets analysts. They paid for a pot. Well, they paid for an analyst to um, do a breakdown and a price Target blah blah blah. The company.

But when you're paying someone to do that for you, obviously they're going to be pretty nice. I think they gave him a 19 price Target blah blah blah. He was in the news, He was done his tour and then it got absolutely destroyed. A Pump and Dump.

This was a pump and dump literally engineered by the CEO of the company. Stop me. If you've heard this before, Like it. We've seen it time and time again and the point is, just don't fall for it.

Stop falling for it. These people are preying on suckers. That's what they're doing I mean this guy I was gonna interview him and then I started looking into it a bit more and I was like okay, like do I turn this into like kind of like a gotcha thing and like just bring him with the facts and figures but it's trash. This If you're wondering why this is going down, it's not going down because the shorts.

It's not going down because the naked shorting or dark pools or Ftds, it's going down because it's a company and there's a lot of bag holders who got tricked into it and now they're seeing all their money disappear so they're just leaving. They're like saying this like at least I'll try to like save some of it. Um I think hang on I Wanna speaking of the algorithms. the algorithms have not done well this month, but they did do well last month.

so it's kind of like basically the money I made last month um is I don't know paying for the losses this month? um, but in the overnight session. so if you see the blue dotted line, that's a whim and if you see red dotted lines, that's a loss. So uh, a win on a short? A win on a long and we went long on the S P 500 a small win on a short. a nicer.

Went on a long trade here and I don't know if this is going to be entering again. So making back some of the money from this month and not profitable this month? Definitely profitable. And who knows maybe we can end in a blaze of glory here and end up going back to the break even on the the month of April on this algorithm. But yeah, we'll see.

We'll see. We'll see, We'll see, We'll see, We'll see, We'll see. What do I Think about Xrp. Nothing really negative to say about Xrp beyond the fact that I I don't have an issue with the project what it can do the supporter base.
My issue with it is Gary Genzer My issue with it is the SEC My issue with it is the Cftc. If they end up declaring it a security I Don't see it. it obviously could survive I Don't want to say that it's not going to survive, but that's my worry with everything outside of the world of Bitcoin Right now. I'm not knocking on any individual project or team or supporter base.

It's just we are fighting Regulators They're refusing to give any Clarity on what is or isn't a security. We don't know. the punishment of the things are defined as the security. So right now with Xrp, it's just we're You're taking a risk.

You are taking on a regulatory risk. the only one. I do like crypto and mainly I like crypto because I think some of them are monetary. The way we have Central Bank set up in my mind is a little bit silly.

Um, so I View: Bitcoin which is already defined as a digital commodity in the US I can't speak for everyone in the world in the U.S There is no risk whatsoever of Bitcoin being called a security because in our Regulators have actually already decided on that within the US Bitcoin is re it is a digital commodity. It is not ever going to be defined as a security because they've already made that decision. Unfortunately, everything past Bitcoin to this point in time as I'm filming this Live with All of you, we have no decision. The the recent thing is when Gary Gensler what was it last week or the week before was in front of the house Financial Service committee and he ended up doing some pretty like I don't know crazy commentary about Ethereum where he's like talked a lot but none of it really made sense whatsoever.

Um, and they were asking me like, is Ethereum a security he's like, well, no, no, like it was just some weird vague high-level statements where he said a lot without saying anything. But my point of bringing all that up is whether it's Xrp or any of this stuff we simply just do not know. I By far feel the most confident in Bitcoin and because the way the political arena is going, I feel second most confident at this moment in time in Ethereum I Want to be very, very clear about that, but this is also from the point of an investment argument. if you were talking about like active trading I mean I think this morning I saw That Gensler right? or um, it was trending dollar sign games.

there are active trades so I just want to be clear that I'm talking about like an investment like where would I be comfortable holding my money in Crypto for like the next decade it's Bitcoin followed by Ethereum. But also it's kind of weird because as of right now I actually own more Ethereum because my Bitcoin was on Voyager which is currently locked up because of regulators. So I don't know I just want to be like kind of a little bit more transparent I like Bitcoin the most I like Ethereum the second most, but I actually own in terms of crypto I own the most as of now, my most exposures to Ethereum because my bitcoin's locked up it would have been Bitcoin but it it's not as of now which is like a huge bummer. and I have a bunch of these other like I think I'm in Crow I think I'm in HEX I think I'm in I might even own some Xrp I own random nfts that are now probably not even worth a cent like I own a bunch of this.
but my I don't know my thoughts on them actually coming back I I'm just not the most optimistic I'm really not uh Nvidia how's Nvidia doing Nvidia I mean after a pump is just going nowhere. so at least if you're selling premium lately you would have been winning. but man, it's just Nvidia's been crushing it with and I Love semiconductors because this is the inherent Hardware that's going to be needed for AI for data centers and for crypto. and I'm bullish on AI data centers and crypto.

So to me, semiconductors are just such a kind of like a no duh investment. Do you see Bed Bath and Beyond doing what Rev did when they announced bankruptcy? Well, Rev didn't do that because of bankruptcy. They did it because of how judges were making certain decisions in their bankruptcy case. I Don't know if Bed Bass is going to be that contentious.

so it kind of depends on the nature of like who's finding why they're fighting what the judge decides I'm not like, that's not particularly my expertise by any means. That's not something I'm like really that well aware of. It's just not what I know about. um I guess as the news develops, I'll happily cover it.

but I'm not expecting Bed Bath to really do anything if I had to play Bed Bath like I said, I would just short it. but I'm not going to play it at all. Somebody's trying to look uh, a trim. uh I mean right now in the way I look at it at least on right here like I Guess it's all right.

Like we're putting in higher lows. Maybe swinging around like higher low here higher low here higher low this might. It's not the craziest opportunity to get some calls, and if you're okay risking 410, maybe I will I don't know. Maybe I'll buy you buy some calls on that a little bit Tracy on the intraday.

but I I actually don't hate that. Uh, all right, anyone who is a Weeble expert. How do I get this right here? Like how do I drag this up into here? Stick? Nope. How do what? the does anyone know how to do this? Chat I Need a little bit of a help I have this is it.

Something over here. Add a widget copy copy. No now it's just giving me more drag. It hit the pin.

Okay I hit the pin. do I what do I do after hit I click the pin I did that. Um yeah. but I wanted to pin pin on the top left I I hit the pin folks I hit the pin I need help I'm scared pin in the top left drag and put it next to orders.
uh drag, wait drag. what? Um. same here. Oh never mind.

a slightly longer time frame. Drag the pen to the oh I'm dragon and nothing's happening. How is this set? A group Quick trade. Add a widget remove.

Nope. this is dumb design. Cancel the box and add it from the top bar. you want to try kicking it.

So I did that close it and add the widget again. So I did that right here. All right Chart settings I did right here. I'm on it.

Oh, I'm on this one. Add a widget. All right options. Well, that's dumb.

Well I appreciate the help that they need to fix that or do something that's stupid. Uh, what was I gonna do? What did I say I was doing here now I'm all flustered I forget where I'm at. it's gonna buy some calls. Are we on the 15 minute time frame? We are, but we didn't break quite yet.

All right, All right, we'll do this. We almost broke so even though the past three days, the past three times we've traded this, it has not been beneficial in any way. I guess we could do that same thing I'll go for the break of it ADD alert and we'll see how it ends up playing out. We'll see how it ends up well.

I Feel like this is about to break and we're past 4 15 right? I Hope we are. Thank you for the help I Appreciate it. Um, Bed Bath Actually going up today making a bit of a recovery, but it's still down 21 FRC Is having a great day. it's up six percent.

I Guess there's some optimism going into its earnings. Once again. the earnings Are Tonight Tonight Tonight Tonight Best video thumbnails on YouTube hands down. Give a shout out to Chaos.

he's in chat right now. He is my producer slash thumbnail designer. Bbby spiking on an intraday basis but still understand it is down 20 percent. It is down quite a bit.

Tell me something. I Don't know. that is my humble, humble, humble thumbnail designer. You guys can give them challenges.

That's what we kind of do in the Discord and everything. he likes to be challenged. So if you think you can come up with a prompt that he can't do, uh, feel free to comment it. He'll write it down and he will blow your mind away.

So if you think that there's some like absurd scene that you're like nah man, like you're just not gonna be able to pull this one off. Um, challenge him. Challenge him. Challenge him.

Challenge him. He will be uh uh, he'll He'll impress you. We've given him wild wild prompts and it works out and challenge you to bring me coffee. Chaos.

Oh Kuduri looks like our mods are fighting once again. All right. what do I need to do here? Vertical? Is it going to break to the upside: I'm waiting for this to get going. waiting for this to get going.

Are we doing anything? or is it going to get smacked? Oh, by the way, uh I didn't forget about it. There just are no Market events today. There's no like, uh, Market event announcements like whatever, inflation or anything like that. Oh, all right, let's see how this all goes.
Trying to get a fill? Trying to get a fill? FRC holding above 15 Tesla's picking back up. Uh, your order to sell 10 contracts of SPX has been filled at 250. nice I guess it jumped the gun a little bit there I thought I was going to get the fill until the pop but I need to be smarter than I have been recently. So here's what just happened here is: uh, you guys can't see him So this is somewhat of the strategy we've been working on since last week.

Um, a zero DTE degenerate premium selling thing. Uh, I sold at 250. Basically it that represents a 50 50 chance I was looking for the breakout hasn't happened quite yet, but what I'm gonna look to do is actually maybe I need to make my profit Target a little bit closer. What we're gonna do is just get in and out quick.

190. I'm throwing in the order and we'll see if it hits. Hopefully it hits relatively quickly. SPX I sold a put credit spread put credit spread.

so I would love for it to be um, above 140 or 4145. All right. so there's the degenerate trade of the day. actually I should Mark that out.

Let me just move this up. Like I said pretty much at the money. That's how you get like the 50 50 because I spread it by five so I got I collected 250 I.E 50 shot. All right, we're gonna switch it to the three minute switch it to the three minute.

and as we're letting this all cooked now as we're letting it cook, there are some other important things that I do want to go over. Uh, so let's get into this of how: Tesla which I mean a little sanity check on Tesla at 165 pretty much break even on the day. Let's see how we're doing on this one. Um, a group of Tesla investors sent an open letter to the board and Company accusing of mismanagement and calling for a meeting to discuss Elon Musk's performance.

One of the investors NYC Comptroller: uh Brad Lander joins with more. So basically a lot of big people invested in Tesla are not so happy with how he's been I guess allotting his time to other Ventures welcome back to squawk a group of 17 Tesla Investors Stanton Open letter to the board of the company accusing it of mismanagement and calling for a meeting to discuss Elon Musk's performance I Want to bring in one of those investors Brad Landers New York City Comptroller It's his first interview since uh, he signed that le
