Matt must pay taxes for dividends same year receiving it. If holding AMC as long as not selling, it is not taxable. If receiving dividends this year, must pay taxes this year. Taxes for dividends do not wash losses.

If someone is fined for synthetics shouldn't that be enough for investors of that stock to sue that individual for damages? The fine should equal the damage and that money should be added to our stocks value. Synthetics is dilution and theft and those who can prove damages should be able to sue.
