If we were to try to buy a home now I Don't think that we would be able to do it 5 years ago. All they told you was you needed good credit and $10,000 saved of that was more attainable 5 years ago for a couple of early 20y olds than it would be for two people dual income in our mid-20s Right now, we were making well over $100,000 a year and in the South specifically Texas that used stretch nowadays. it literally doesn't mean anything like groceries are too high, the cost of living is too high, the housing pris is out of control. It's bad.
It's bad, you guys. It's getting bad and it's getting worse and worse by the year. No matter who's elected president, we were not put on this Earth to work 70 plus hours a week, not be able to spend time with our families. We were put on this: Earth to consume art, have Community You know, try new foods, new cultures, travel.
It's really hard for people and I think especially my generation to just see us doing the same thing for the next 30. Years And for what it's much more of like the victim card I Don't think this is a human I'd get along with.
Thats why i hate when people vote Democrat. I absolutely agree that we should be able to have everything we need, but not through welfare. That should be specifically for disabled and elderly people, and the few who get sick temporarily. The fact is we cannot afford what Democrats do, this isnt saying vote Republican. Just vote anyone in other than those that want to give free stuff out. Because it adds up and hurts everyone.
Also Minimum wage should be dropped, not raised. If you feel the need to raise it then I would assume all other venues were tried and failed. We shouldn't be involved in everyones wars, we shouldn't be bailing out failed companies, i can go on all day. If you take away the free, more people pay taxes instead of take. The revenue adds up and we Get lowered taxes. Lower taxes mean we have more money. More money means we buy more goods.
Im 35. When i was 20. I had a paid off car, gas was $0.95-1.15, rent for my studio was $350/mo utilities were less than $50. I could buy a month of groceries for $35 and eat good. Living off of 7.25/hr was a reality.
Thats not the case. To make matters worse is people are digging into Social security. Thats supposed to be a government forced savings account. But people who never worked a day can dig into SS and receive all the other government assistance too. We can't sustain this.
This is not a victim. This is facts. The saying "Make America Great again" just means "Get us to where we can survive" you can live as a bum in low income neighborhoods or work hard and become well off which was only $40k. Now you need 5x as much to survive. Its broken. Its not the presidents alone who are the problem, its everyone from mayor to the top. We are screwed if we dont get our head out our ass.
