We give Ukraine older weapons and then we buy new weapons for ourselves. This in turn employs Americans.
The fact that we don't have free healthcare is a function of Republicans blocking such legislation, it is not a problem of having enough money to do so.
I think it's interesting that people think that if we stop supporting Ukraine, all of a sudden the Republicans are going to vote for bills that would help us all. They won't, Republicans are not for taking care of Americans.
if people dont know whats going on, its a loop hole to get tax money to the rich, money to ukraine, ukraine buy the product, fat rich man has robbed you're taxes. Its simple as hell. Better yet they get to justify higher defense bill to buy the new shit to replace the old shit.
The rich pay majority of taxes anyway. The government could stop taxing the lower classes at anytime and that would put soooo money back into the hands of the people. But they want you trapped and enslaved to socialist programs. Its about control and power. They want the people to nEED them.
Thats $190 per person. Healthcare costs over $1,076 per person. Thats 355B.

Taken plainly it seems simple, It’s much more nuanced.
It is amazing to me that people think our taxes go into an account and then gets redistributed.
Get a better education, start a business, find ways to earn more money. I’m not sure why it always boils down to people asking for free stuff. I’m not saying the government and tax system are even close to perfect but when will people take responsibility of their own finances and blaming the system and using it as an excuse to not take initiative
You all don't realize in order for the US to function you have to have a global order that functions. If Ukraine spirals into regional then world war then you won't be worried about money. You'll be worried about food, water and safety. Those of you who don't know dhit about geopolitics except whats in your town or city don't realize that you focus on petty cash to prevent a greater conflict. A normal person sees 63 billion and thinks "Wow that's all the money in the world" but in the grand scheme of things it wouldn't do shit for healthcare and its a bargain to try to grind Russian military down and have Russia fall apart as a federation of different states. The uneducated look at the money out of context because money is their biggest personal concern on their daily lives. The US is a capitalist country, lopsided and unfair but money won't fix it until you change from capitalist to something closer to a functional socialist democratic slash capitalist mash up I suppose. When the average person talks about the US government is failing the American people by giving money to Ukraine they completely ignore the fact that Russia would have rolled Ukraine then Poland then then Moldova and the Baltic states. So? Then the rest of Europe would have their energy supplies under attack and they'd go to war which would drag the entire world economy down and the conflict would spread. Everywhere. You have no idea why we need to support Ukraine because it prevents a bigger conflict. Nobody talking about them stopping to pay for Netflix, personal care and make up products, snacks and sugary drinks, over priced cars though right? How many hundreds of billions are just those categories alone? Nah people who don't understand the world are putting their neighborhood local view and projecting it onto a conflict on the world stage. This ain't Afghanistan or Iraq. This shit in Ukraine is really the start of a global conflict. Letting tribalistic politics get the best of you is a shame. Iraq was a mistake and so was Afghanistan but this Ukraine situation is bigger than those, more important than the relative petty cash we spent there and to be honest if things continue the way they are there will be global chaos.
Its not the governments job to provide higher wages or free healthcare in a "free market" democracy.
