I have a beneficial long position in the shares of AMC & GME either through stock ownership, options, or other derivatives.

So you so mum welcome, welcome, welcome we made it to friday. We made it to friday afternoon and man, oh man, oh man, oh man. How much does this market not make make any sense? This makes less sense than freaking calculus. This makes less sense than my life.

This makes less sense than girls. None of it makes sense. I would have a better chance of figuring out why my completely real girlfriend gets pissed off at me when i put my plates in the sink instead of the dishwasher than i would this market, and i'm never gon na figure out why she gets mad about the Whole plates debacle, so i'm completely lost in this one. I'm saying that a little bit fictitiously but uh.

The plates story is real, but i do actually have a better explanation for the market. Um. Oh man, oh man, oh man, staring wwe trace in the face and markets go green. The spy is up one point: seven percent: the queues are at point: nine percent, the russell's up one point: six percent; ah lordy lordy lordy.

It doesn't make sense, or does it um before we get into the charts and the numbers and the reporting um. I do want to explain a little bit and it really just comes down to we've gone from a world of unknowns to a world of gnomes. This is something that we've really been hammering home since the start of this year, and we were a month ago when the fed was coming. I was like whether good or bad there's going to be that initial jolt, but we're just getting in the world of a bunch, a bunch of unknowns to knowns, and even sometimes those knowns are not positive.

It's it's kind of a natural aspect of how the market works and then there's other related. Things of we've pointed out the history, the patterns of uh, the announcement of the invasion just historically with crimea, iraq, vietnam, those types of things - those actually have been buy signals now. Do i think this one like we're completely out of the woods? No and it's because i think putin's a crazy person, so i don't think we're out of the woods and do i understand that i'm literally not going to be ever allowed to go to russia, because if i do i'm risking my own life after this shit, i've Talked on him yeah and that's a bummer, because i've seen very beautiful pictures of russia, but i guess as long as he's in power there and the shit i've talked on them. It's just not going to happen, but hey you can't win them all.

That's one! Golden rule i've learned about this life. You cannot win them all so anyway, here we are i'm a guy who puts my plates in the sink not able to go to russia and we're doing our best to wrap our head around the craziness of the market. But remember sometimes a lot of people trade in anticipation of the event there were so many bets being made that this would happen, and then it came to fruition and people capture their profits. So that's like one explanation.

Another thing is, i guess, a little bit of what i was driving home this morning of, even if it makes no sense whatsoever. Remember the market can stay illogical longer than you can stay liquid. That is something that was taught to me, not by my manager, not by my manager's manager, but my manager's manager's manager at my first job that had nothing to do with trading um before i go too far off like i want to, i guess: share a little Bit of a story, so i graduated college and then got a job. I worked at capital one.
I was a coder that type of thing like coco code code. You know that job that, like, like literally girls, swoon over they're, like you're, a software engineer, that's the hottest thing. I've ever heard, you're charismatic you're athletic. You can hold a solid conversation.

I was one of those people and now look at me. I know i took a rough turn, but i was a coder. I worked at capital one and i, like i guess, coming out of college. I like i wanted to do well.

I really did like i tried to be the corporate america mat. I try to say: hey corporate america. I am here to be a cog in the the system here. Sign me up, so i carried for like the first couple months and then i got my team switched and then i realized when i got my team switched.

I was not going to get like the promotion on the promotion cycle that, like i really expected, and i very quickly became disenchanted with corporate america and that's exactly when i was like. I want to just trade. This is circa 2017 and it actually got to the point that within a couple weeks, i started bringing in my personal computer, along with my work computer, and i would just trade and it got so out of hand that, like my that manager's manager manager, he started To notice - and i was like - oh man - i'm gon na get fired, but instead this guy recognizing, i wasn't working at all - and i was just trading all day um. He actually just started inviting me to like special screenings of ufc fights with all of his buddies, and then he would just talk to me a lot about the market.

So anyway, he is the guy who taught me that the market can remain illogical longer than you can remain liquid and he's also the guy that hammered home. The concept of me of always sell covered cause. He loves covered calls and we're not going to exactly talk about covered calls today, but we are going to talk about credit spreads. I really want to talk about credit spreads with you, because we made two credit spread plays today and if things hold up we're, looking pretty good, we have 55 minutes to go and i'm about to be printing money for all of you, all of you, cool moon, Gang and apes um, but all those trades, the trades that i'll be referring to just so you know, they're pinned to the top of chat.

You can sign up, there's a free version. There's a paid version do what you want, but the trades are pinned to the top of chat if you're on rumble just hit that red button hit that join to locals button, but anywho, let's get into it. Let me switch over to the market. I digress uh.
What stack did you i use? I was actually a full stack developer when i left at that point um for a while there at capital, one i was using vue and then some points. I was doing aws development and then i left that job and then i went over to um more of a front-end job, a startup in new york, and that was react. But that was like what i was doing. But before that i was doing java on an internship, my very first internship i was doing c plus and that sucked ass uh anyway we're getting wildly off topic right now.

Let's talk about stonks spy up 1.7, the nasdaq 100.9 and the russell up 1.6 um. Just because i know many of you in here still care about amc and gme. Just so, you know: amc trading at 17, uh dollars and 30 cents down two percent in gme trading at 117 and 90 cents down 5.4 on the day. In terms of the s p, 500 short interest: 16.5.

The nasdaq 100 has a short interest of 13.5 and then the russell 2000 has a short interest of 38. Just so, you guys know, what's going on there in terms of crypto, crypto has been ripping over the past two days. This is the four-hour chart for btc eth solana avalanche. I just want to bring it up that right now.

Crypto is very, very green. If you are at all interested or invested in or trading crypto, you're definitely want to go in to be part of crypto cores. If you're on rumble you're good to go, i put all the crypto content in the same one there, but on youtube. I've delineated the two and it's on crypto course.

So if one of the mods could throw that into uh chat just so, our friends here can find that channel uh very very easily, but once again that's crypto cores where we talk about everything, crypto um, the setup. On the day. Some of the recent developments tensions have been coming down their, i would say the biggest russia ukraine development of the day uh from early the early session was they were trying to get a discussion going, as in president putin and president zielinski, the president of russia, the President of ukraine, they were trying to get a chit chat going between the two and then all of a sudden, they're like well. Let's move it to warsaw and then they kind of went like dark on them.

So a little bit of like weird action, uh and nothing thus far came of it and most recently we do have some other developments. Our other developments are the fact that apparently nvidia the semi, like conductor maker, the the chips, the processing chips - apparently they just suffered a cyber attack that they believe is coming out of russia, so that was actually one of the most recent ones and also in kiev. The capital city and kind of like central north of ukraine most recently hearing a handful of explosions according to, i believe, the mayor, so those were some of the biggest things that just happened, but let me give you a rundown of what else we oh wait. Hang on u.s intelligence.
Our information indicates: russia is creating disinformation campaign by publicizing false reports about the widespread surrender of ukrainian troops and that russia plans to threaten killing the family members of ukraine soldiers if they do not surrender uh incredible georgian people who understood that friends must be supported. Grateful to everyone in to blissey - i i don't. I doubt i'm saying that right, my apologies in other cities who came out in support of ukraine and cancer war. Indeed, there are many times when citizens are not the government but better.

The government uh. The uk government has just now ordered to freeze all assets of putin and his foreign ministers uh, there's a big expectation that the us will follow with that, but has not quite yet uh russia's foreign ministry says keeve refused talks with moscow. Does anyone think that's real? Let me ask you folks: do you think that ukraine refused talks, or do you think this is russia lying russia? Russia's foreign ministry says kiev refused talks with moscow who thinks that's right, show of hands uh. Switzerland is freezing bank accounts belonging to russian oligarchs until switzerland is interesting.

Zelinski. Thank you to everyone. We did that uh russian foreign ministry says keeve is refusing talks with moscow. That seems sus.

That seems sus to me not really adding up, especially with the tune we've been seeing all day. Russia's foreign ministry says he proposed to return to the issue of talks on february 26th, as in tomorrow maybe doing a talk tomorrow. I guess um hang on. I wanted to dive into this right here.

Uh eu could exclude russia from swift payment system and further round of sanctions. European parliament president says russia's foreign ministry says: can you propose all right? We already went on that germany, foreign minister, bear brock, says putin's offer of talks in minsk was a poisoned offer and eu ministers did not even discuss it. A poisoned offer uh russia's popular euros grade of crude trading at twelve dollars a barrel discount too. All right.

We got that uh us microchip powerhouse nvidia hit by cyber attack, all right, that's what we were talking about that was reported by the telegraph um hang on. Let me check one other word: zero hedge right here. Actually, two more: we should check sec, proposes new disclosure rules for short sellers and targeting stocks. So i want to see what all right that's taking a hot second or let's find a different one of that.

That's something i do want to talk about nvidia all right. We knew that and then, let's see what the key independent is currently reporting uh another air raid alert in key just now, authorities warn of possible airstrike citizens are told to immediately head to bomb shelters. It's also being reported that there's mobile crematoriums being used by russia to kind of hide the amount of - i guess russian soldiers that were like were killed in action to try to like keep those numbers low. I don't know if that's true or not, but it is obviously being reported, um man, it's always tough, to know like what news source to believe, not to believe there's.
Definitely, ukraine is not fully functioning. Hang on what's being reported here, let's check this out for a quick separation which western powers are denouncing as an invasion. According to the report, the donetsk and lugansk republic troops are advancing with the support of russian forces. They've moved 25 kilometers west beyond the former contact line into territory that was until now held by kiev.

Numerous ukrainian soldiers have reportedly surrendered laying down their weapons. Russian airborne troops now control the exclusion zone surrounding the former chernobyl nuclear power plant now in towns and cities across ukraine, warning sirens have been going off throughout the day. These images are from nicolaive on the black sea coast. You can see people huddled in a survey here at air rave shelter in a school basement.

Well, it was urgent earlier a large fire on outskirts of kharkov in eastern ukraine. This video apparently shows ablaze at an army fuel depot. Radakov is ukraine's second largest city home to one and a half million people. Russian troops have been conducting operations outside the city limits but say those have now concluded whoa, while you're crying all right.

Let's check some of these other ones just to see what the hottest news is remain, our brace for a violent confrontation. Another terrifying start to the day in kiev overnight there was more destruction bombs, rained down forcing residents to flee to safety in bunkers metro stations and sellers packed with residents grappling to come to terms with their new reality. Breaking news. The united states has dismissed russia's offers to talk with ukraine as not serious.

The u.s also called on moscow to show its commitment to diplomacy by withdrawing troops from the country it's hard, but i'm holding on a nearby house called fire all right. We already listened to that earlier. This is an earlier thing. Uh we saw that nato activates response force, and so this is the big development from nato.

They have this. Like active response group, i believe it's like 40 000 plus soldiers take on uh maintaining control over ukraine. Given what we've seen in the in the defiant eyes of the ukrainian people, he better have more forces ready to stay there longer and i think he's got to decide whether he wants that objective. If he does make that decision, they'll take out air defense systems pretty quickly tom white house, press secretary jenn saki said that nato members would need to discuss whether a cyber attack against a nato ally would then trigger that article.
Five response from the alliance talk about that for a second. What might that response? Look like yeah? This has been brewing for a very long time. In fact, one of the nato members - estonia, many people - remember they were attacked a cyber attack that devastated their economy and their government systems by russia and they're, a nato member, and they asked. Is there anything significant that like does? It include the strategic dialogue? We have? No plans to take part in another strategic dialogue at the moment at the moment and and again all of this stuff is - is suspension.

It's not permanent. So should russia change its the the the point these these would resume much like sanctions uh. These are a means to an end uh. What we are trying to do is to change on an urgent basis, moscow's uh behavior, to bring this violence to an end, to bring this conflict to an end, to bring the suffering that russia is inflicting on the ukrainian people to an end wallet.

In the context of the russian ukrainian crisis, you know india has a strong relationship with russia and so has with the united states as well. How the korean crisis is trained, india, u.s relationship. We have a broad strategic partnership uh with india. As you know, we had an opportunity to see our indian counterpart foreign minister jaishenkar in australia just the other day when we were in the indo-pacific for a meeting of uh the quad uh.

What we have done, including in the context of the bilateral discussion we had with foreign minister josh shankar in sydney and sorry and melbourne, was to um share uh our fervent belief uh, that countries around the world, especially those countries that have a level of influence of Clout of leverage with the russian federation needed to use that to good effect needed to use that to protect the rules-based international order. Again, that have worked to the benefit of the united states that have worked to the benefit of our european allies. That have worked to the benefit of india and, quite frankly, have worked to the benefit of the russian federation over the course of some 70 years. We share important interests with india.

We share important values with india and we know india has a relationship with russia. That is distinct from the relationship that we have with russia. Of course, that is okay. What we have asked of every country around the world is that they use that leverage to good effect to uphold those norms.

Those rules that have been at the center again of unprecedented levels over the past 70 years of security of stability and prosperity. Can you believe that india has that influence or leverage of russia? Well, india has a relationship with russia that we certainly don't have uh india and russia. Uh have a relationship uh, including in the defense and security sector, that we don't have and again we have asked every country that has a relationship and certainly those countries uh that have uh leverage to use that leverage in a constructive way. One more question on pakistan's prime minister imran khan was recently in in moscow when uh when russian attacked ukraine.
This is the first time in 20 years the pakistani prime minister have visited uh russia. Do you see realignment of forces there? Well, i will leave it to our pakistani partners to speak to their position on this. What i can say is that we communic communicated to pakistan our position on what was then the threat of a russian invasion and what is now the ongoing russian invasion against ukraine. Just as india does, pakistan knows precisely where we stand on this.

These are again rules norms, guidelines that benefit india, pakistan, the united states and russia as well. Yes, sir. Thank you. I have a follow-up on minsk talks and a broader point about the conflict.

Uh is the united states? Has the united states been explicitly asking the ukrainians not to take part in the proposed talks? We have been in regular contact uh with our ukrainian partners. We want to see diplomacy, we want to see diplomacy succeed, and we want that precisely because only through diplomacy can we bring an end to this. Needless unprovoked, brutal conflict, and only through diplomacy can we save lives on a sustainable basis. So, first and most important, we want to see diplomacy.

We want to see diplomacy succeed a corollary to that. We want to know that russia is actually interested in genuine diplomacy. It now appears quite clear that russia was not and has not been interested in genuine diplomacy. They were interested in the pretense of diplomacy, as i said before, in the context of the ongoing invasion diplomacy at the barrel of a gun.

That is not genuine diplomacy. That is coercive diplomacy that is coercion with the guise of diplomatic niceties. That is not something that can bring an into this conflict in a way that we know it must end. In my broader point, if i may uh, why do you think this military operation is taking place? Is this because the russians are so inherently evil that they woke up one day and decided to attack a neighboring country, or is it because of of some broader and deeper roots? This is pretty crazy.

A group of open source intelligence researchers have taken to tinder to speak with russian soldiers and separatists to gain intelligence, posing as women the crazy world of social media. That, during a war, soldiers are on tinder, giving away information about their units and locations in the hope. To get laid uh only, he can give you a good answer uh to uh, or he can only. He can give you an answer.

I'm not sure it'll be a good one uh to explain his decisions, but let me make one point uh. This is not and was not a decision of the russian people, that's actually this was a decision that was made for them. This was not a decision that was made by them and even in recent hours in recent days, we have seen thousands of brave russians take to the streets peacefully to demonstrate against what they see as precisely what we see and unprovoked and unjustified a needless war. That will inflict costs not only on ukraine, but also on russia.
The fact is that russians are unlikely to see their countrymen come back in body bags, because putin controls just about every instrument of communication. Every mass media, every element of the mass media, but russians will be coming home and bodybacks. This has already had a devastating consequential effect on the russian economy. This has already had consequential implications for russia's strategic ambitions, both at the present uh and going forward uh.

So this is not a decision. Judging by what we're seeing from russia's economy, the united states government, we are standing on the side of those russians who are peacefully taking to the streets uh to, and let's put pause on that for one second just hear what the new supreme court nominee has to Say: judge jackson, jackson thanks for streaming source. Take america's number one app net touch the abc news, app download it now come on talk about all those ads and welcome back everyone, i'm kyra phillips, so glad you're with us. Well, president, this was announced history today nominating the first black woman to the highest court in the land, judge kentaji brown jackson.

She is as she addressed here. She is rather, as she addressed the american people today. Justice breyer in particular not only gave me the greatest job that any young lawyer could ever hope to have, but he also exemplified every day in every way that a supreme court justice can perform at the highest level of skill and integrity, while also being guided by Civility grace, pragmatism and generosity of spirit, justice, breyer, the members of the senate will decide if i fill your seat, but please know that i could never fill your shoes for more. Let's bring in abc news, contributor and professor of history at johns hopkins just wanted to listen to that really quick to see what she had to say to discuss with the russian federation certain areas where we thought we could make progress on a reciprocal basis.

These would have been discussions about just, as you said, broader european security architecture, the placement of offensive missiles in europe, arms control protocols, uh arms control, uh agreements uh when it uh steps when it comes to stability, transparency as well. That was very much on the table. The russian federation again engaged in this pretense of diplomacy with us. There was an exchange, as everyone knows, by now of uh written proposals, written responses, uh there were high-level meetings, all of which culminated in what we've now seen the russian invasion of ukraine, perhaps an invasion that was planned all along.
That is not our near-term priority. Our near-term priority for diplomacy going forward, is to bring as quickly as possible an in to this needless violence. This brutality that the russian federation is directing against the ukrainian state against the ukrainian government and against the ukrainian people. That is our near-term focus just for a second, because i think i asked the wrong question.

I should have instead of asking you what is exempted, because i've seen the list of exemptions and, it's frankly huge. Can you give us an example of the kinds of talks that now are no longer going to take place, you're asking me to about um exchanges or what i mean because look at the list of stuff that's exempted. You start with the jcpoa unconfirmed reports that russia is repositioning. Some devices believed to be what you will see.

Anything at the seventh floor thinks is significant enough, which could be anything so i'm just wondering what is it you will see. You will see arctic council in there. You will see every single. You will see a focus on our core national security interests yeah, but every international organization, you know contact with the russians and every international organization is carved out.

It's exempted from this matt. I'm not sure this question from the icao to the to the to the arctic council to this sounds a little bit testy. This kind of we are going to persuade you. So what is what has been banned or halted because of this directive? We are going to pursue what is in our national security interest.

Some of the things you just listed are fundamental to our national security interests. Just because uh russia has taken uh. This action doesn't mean that uh we should stop caring about our own security, the well-being, uh, the welfare, the safety, the security of the american people, you've seen for yourself at least what purports to be a list of areas where we need to engage. We might need to engage to pursue those core national security interests.

I will leave it to your well-informed imagination. What what might not meet that criteria? Well, i'm just wondering: can you point to something specific that is now no longer able to be talked about with russians? Bilaterally because of this, because it just seems like almost everything that you that one can imagine except for i don't know, you know, while licensing for artwork to come to to be lonely and he's hitting the russians included, the unprovoked russian invasion of ukraine has contoured has Changed our bilateral relationship, so please please vivian about what's up so are they off the table completely? Now at this point, we do not have any plans for the next generation iteration of the strategic stability dialogue. Arms control is an area whether it's in the context of the jcpoa. If you want to consider that an arms control agreement or the fact that the united states and the russian federation have the two largest ukrainian and german foreign ministers spoke agree that pressure on russia must be elevated until the moment it ceases its aggression against ukraine, nuclear Warheads uh that nuclear stockpiles uh remain uh under control, uh in uh the positive control uh of the russian federation that uh stockpiles that remain uh that that nuclear arsenals remain uh small uh as small as uh possible uh.
Certainly, arms control is something that will continue to be in our uh national security interest, but we don't have uh another iteration of the strategic stability dialogue plant. So today the in london. They cancel the performance interval and thank you again to all of our viewers who have been here with us on live now from fox. Do want to let everyone know that we are still waiting on a press conference that is going to be taking place.

Secretary blanken, possibly making some remarks here as we are waiting for this to begin. I want to show everyone. We do also have a white house press briefing that is set to begin any moment as well. So we've been listening with the state department, as we've continued to keep on top of the latest movements, as russia continues its push through and its attack on ukraine again just happening here today.

Nato has activated its response force for the first time and we're getting a lot of new uh pictures and videos of what's been happening. I want to point out a particular video that we've been uh playing on some of those videos in that double box, but this is showing uh some of the ukrainian civilians, who have been taking cover uh down under ground. So they are in some of those metro stations, this one showing us some in kiev we've been hearing uh some reports that there are still explosions happening around the capitol uh, but that they are uh starting to even move a little bit closer to the capital. Now there has already been some damage that has been sustained in kiev and this uh story.

Full video also does have some narration, so i want to at least listen and let our viewers listen into uh this person, who is explaining what they're, seeing here going to be replaying it and listening into it here for you again on live now from fox. So, just to give you a scale of some of the things that are happening here. This is one of many train stations in central kiev right now: full of people seeking shelter, families that have tried to escape from the fighting to come down here, deep, deep underground to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. So all right so once again, uh just showing that people are trying to take cover wherever they can.

As we've said, there has been some not only sirens that have rung out in the city and around the country over these last few days, but also a lot of gunfire and explosions also heard. Let's go ahead and get the latest uh with trey uh who's uh out in uh kiev, especially during this tense time, k, uh, trey, yingst, uh joining us here. Let's go ahead, listen into his latest uh happening in ukraine. Uh, no volume team all right and it does look like we don't have that sound here at this time, so we'll work on getting that here for you, but uh.
Here's just a look at some of those different areas where we've been seeing attacks, so it is happening across the entire country. We do also know that russian troops have so far been trying to continue their attack on the capital. It has been putting a lot of pressure on some of those ukrainian officials, and we did actually have president zielinski earlier here today who had said that, despite some of those claims that he and some of the other top officials in ukraine had fled, they are still In fact, in the city, uh, of course, uh he had uh talked about it uh previously uh. He is uh just one of those number one targets for russian troops, obviously being the leader of the country.

They are invading his family target number two. So he wanted to show to his people that their resistance is acknowledged. Their uh pride is, of course, appreciated. Their uh resiliency here has just been showing a display that people haven't seen before, but uh that they uh also he, along with some other top officials, are also standing strong and firm in kiev, as they continue.

Let's wait for these uh. These attacks happen. Okay, so we're gon na be continuing to listen in uh to our there's two talks, we're still waiting for this afternoon country. As a reminder, we are still waiting for a few of those press conferences to take place again.

We do have not only response to this attack, but also uh. We are waiting for secretary blinken to be making some remarks to a u.n security council voting on a russia, ukraine resolution. So, if lincoln does step up here to the podium, we will bring you those remarks here on live now from fox, so we're waiting from lincoln and the press secretary from the white house. So two different talks come on.

These people have been not timely at all. Well: okay, in the meantime, while we're waiting for this as the market's been flat in the close as the spy's been flat, let's talk about what in the world is going on and what so, as a reminder, we're waiting for these different live events to take place. So let's go ahead and once again try getting the very latest with trey uh trey yingstas again he's been reporting from kiev hold on keep and not working. Try again.

What do we have here, though? Russian troops cross border into singkiva ukraine all right, so we did try to bring that to you. Unfortunately, you still don't have that audio, but that's okay. What we do is we always move around giving you those different live looks at what's been happening, also continuing to play out uh, just some of those press conferences that have happened uh before so uh, while we're waiting for the white house press secretary to step out Here and make some remarks we did earlier on. Have our ukraine ambassador tonight? Well, you guys don't need to i'll, let you know as soon as that starts i'll have it in one of my years, but i do want to talk about something else: team team team.
I think there are many many people who potentially you've been following the whole ape effort for quite a while now and with that, maybe because of one reason or another, maybe just because you're new to the market, you might have not had the most diversified portfolio. Maybe you would went all in on one or two things and really threw diversity out the window and we've all been there before, because i get it, you want to make some of them attendees, maybe as you're getting through your tax documents right now, you might be Feeling a little bit of that red, maybe you're, getting the tax document you're like whoa, whoa whoa. I need to get some green well because of that um there is these. This concept of, like these home, run grand slam plays where you get in a little bit of money, massive percentage return and boy.

Oh boy, are you stoked that's a possible way to trade and there's some people are good at it. I just want to make it clear that that stuff doesn't happen day over day. That's not like a common way to engage in the market, so i wanted to look at the other end of the spectrum, much more of a weekly and or monthly income strategy, something that you're not going to be hitting a grand slam, but you're gon na consistently Be hitting singles it's a very, very safe, optimal risk reward manner to engage in the market. We've talked about things such as covered calls, and we've talked a little bit about credit, spread and i'll like be discussing those a little bit more and now.

Today, we're going to be talking a little bit more about iron condors, which is really what you're going to need to know for credit spreads. So what is a credit spread if you do a call credit spread, you're selling the lower number? If xyz is trading at 100, you sell it, let's say a call at 105 and you buy one at 106 and you get your max profit. If you stay below 105 at the point of expiration. That's your max process.

It doesn't matter if it's 104 or 103 102. It doesn't matter if it's too normal to. If it's below 105 below the one that you sold, you sell the lower number. You sell.

105, you buy 106. If it's below 105, you keep the premium the net premium. A put credit spread is the exact opposite, you would sell 95 and you would buy 94 and as long as it's above 95, you get it well. So the first one is a call credit spread which we've been talking more about.

I've been posting, those on the exact thing, that's pinned to the top of chat, and then, if you do one with a put, if you do those together, that's actually called an iron condor, a call like spread a call credit spread and a put credit spread. Those two simultaneously being executed, um you're gon na that's gon na, be called an iron conduit and the way you get the max profit is, if you stay below the higher number and above the lower number um. So we executed one of those and i'll be giving you those details in a second, but we're about to get a talk right now. I know there are a few topics to discuss today during our time together on monday, the president will host a celebration to mark black history month.
He will be joined by the vice president, black members of the historically diverse cabinet members of the congressional black caucus state and local elected officials, civil rights leaders and divine nine leadership on tuesday. As you are, all tracking the president will deliver his first. A state of the union address we'll have more of his address to preview uh in the coming days. Uh on wednesday, the president and the first lady will travel all right guys so much jumping around.

But that's because we have so many different uh pieces of content coming in at once, but that's the great thing about staying with us on live now from fox. We can always monitor these different news conferences. Right now. We do have jen saki speaking at the white house press briefing, but we do also have our pentagon press briefing that just begun, so i'm going to switch us into that and as soon as that ends, of course, we'll play out.

Some of those other press conferences surrounding let's go ladies attack on ukraine. Let's listen in live here. Uh with john kirby communicates what it's going to need from the united states, just like it will to other nations and as they do, that, we will certainly be able to acknowledge and announce those us capabilities and units who will be going specifically as designated to support. The the nato mission and the nato response force now, as we've also announced previously uh, the department has placed a range of multi-mission units in the united states and europe on a heightened preparedness to deploy, which increases our readiness to provide for the u.s contributions to the Nrf on a shorter tether than what we could do before with today's activation notice by general walters, we stand ready, if called upon by nato, to support the nrf in the defense of the alliance uh and we'll absolutely do that, and with that we'll take questions.

Bob. Thank you, john um, so two things on that point: uh president biden just announced that he has ordered additional forces to europe and is that part of what you just described and the second question is so nato has activated a portion of the rapid or the the Response force um and you can't say how many troops the u.s will contribute to that because they haven't asked for any trip to yeah. So i think the in the president's statement. I think he was referring to his announcement yesterday uh.
This was a readout of his call with president zielinski and he was reiterating that uh what uh that in that conversation, he was pointing back to the announcement that he made yesterday. So i have no new announcements of forced deployments to speak to today. Think about this activation a bit like you would an rff a request for forces right, so it's now been activated and so we'll be in direct consultations with nato and general walters and his sac your hat to work through what their requirements are going to be uh For the nato response force and the very ready joint task force, um and as i've said many times uh before the secretary is very very committed to making sure that whatever those requirements are that the united states is ready to lean forward as much as possible. Yesterday's announcement, you know the seven thousand we talked about.

As i also said yesterday, uh uh, portions of them uh are uh, we can expect will be earmarked for the nato response force again. It was announced by uh, pesky u.s will sanction putin and lavrov. One of the reasons why president biden pushed them forward was so that they could be ready for just such a need, and we wanted to get the clock going to to get them to get them pre-positioned. If you will so there's still some homework to be done.

Still some math that needs to be worked out, but again the secretary wanted to make sure and the president obviously wants to make sure that we're leaning as far forward as we can brigade, among other things, yeah i mean it - could it could be um again we're Gon na we're gon na work closely with nato and make sure that we fully understand what the requirements are from the united states perspective, uh and then and then we'll move forward, but the but the um a good chunk of the of the 7000 we talked about. Yesterday, um, we believe, will be earmarked for nato contributions again if it's, if it's deemed that they are needed, they're wanted and they're ready and if they aren't well, then they'll be used. They can be used unilaterally to support and reassure our allies for the president. For this and for the secretary, this was very much about trying to lean forward, so i don't have any specifics to say today specific units or timelines or schedules um.

But i want to point back to what we said all along that uh, the united states t. We take this uh commitment very, very seriously and and we're going to lean in as much as we can. Okay, part of criticism has been we're now, two days into the invasion. This was seen coming, you know a couple of weeks ago.

Why are there still such few details and if the need is so urgent, you know you know they could roll in through kiev in the coming days? Why not be able to give more details about what units are going where you know what why aren't there? I guess, as many i'm not sure what i'm not sure what russian operations in kiev has to do with the timing of of of how soon we can identify units uh address, i i uh, if i, if i may very politely, just uh, challenged the premise here. We have been the united states in particular, has been very forward-leaning in terms of reassuring allies and with each muscle movement. We've been right up here, talking about it and identifying them to the to the level of specificity that we can um, as we did again yesterday. Um uh, but the way the process works in nato is, you have to approve a defense plan first and then the activation comes second that happened today.
The heads of state approved defense plans, which then gave general walters as sackier the authorization he needed to authorize. Uh activation of the nrf and then now it goes to the nations to fill those needs, but we have to be in consultation with nato about what those needs are again to my answer to bob it's kind of it's not unlike a request for forces. It's just a different process, but it's the same idea. So i i don't think that you know we're not waiting on anything as a matter of fact.

Quite the contrary, the secretary's uh orders authorized by the president yesterday actually put a good chunk of troops coming from the states going to europe so that they can be ready for just these kinds of needs clarifications. How many troops are prepared to deploy orders now? Is it still 8 500? No, it's north of that and i've said that publicly before it's several thousand more um uh north of the 8500 that was originally put on prepare to deploy jen john president has made a passionate appeal to the u.s and nato to set up a no-fly zone over Ukraine, they have fought as you've said valiantly on the ground. Russia does not have air superiority right now. Why not set up that no-fly zone at ukraine's request? Uh.

Look! That's a a policy decision at the nation-state level i um i. I haven't seen the request that president zielinski has made um. I would just tell you he said they've been set up in syria, where there are russian warplanes there. It's been set up in the past, there's historical precedent for it.

Why not uh unite nato european nations to set up another flight zone? I would just tell you that that uh, that would have to be a discussion inside the alliance. The president has been very clear that u.s troops will not be fighting in ukraine and that our focus is on helping them defend themselves. And we've done that and we're going to continue to look for ways to do that and to shore up our our nato allies and our our defenses uh on uh on nato territory. How would you characterize the fighting last 36 hours in terms of the ukrainian uh fighting and what russia has experienced? Well, you know i'm a little loathe to get into a blow-by-blow here from the pentagon podium on operations that we're not involved in.
I would just tell you, broadly speaking, that we we see clear indications that ukrainian armed forces are fighting back and bravely defending their country, and we also see indications that there have been measures of success in that regard, because um again without getting into a blow-by blow. Um, it's uh not apparent to us that the the russians over the last 24 hours have been able to execute their plans as as as they deemed that they would. But it's a dynamic fluid situation. It's uh.

It wouldn't be responsible for us to to talk about it in you know in a predictive way right now, um and uh, and we're just we're gon na we'll watch it as closely as we can, but but they are fighting back. They are fighting for their country and uh and they're doing so bravely russians are facing setbacks on the battlefield from what you can. Our understanding is that they have experienced some setbacks. Yes, oh let's go up on the fourth setback and then activate it earlier this month.

It was eight thousand five hundred uh the pentagon has said since then that there were more people put on prepare to deploy orders you also there. The pentagon has also said that the seven thousand troops activated yesterday, some of them had been on that part of that original 8 500, some of them weren't. So my question is how many troops total, since the beginning of this month, have been put on prepare to deploy orders and how many are still on prepare to deploy orders after this activation yesterday megan, i don't have an exact figure for you. As i said, it's been several thousand more in addition to the 8 500.

So somewhere between 10 and 12, 000 total have been put on, prepare to deploy or or accelerated. Some of them were already on ptdo and we'd shorten that tether, for instance, in some cases from ten to five days. Some of that number wasn't on heightened alert, and so we did put them on ptdo prepare to deploy orders. It varies by unit and by capability.

Um and uh, i don't have an exact breakdown of of what is going to be going as a part of this nato response force package because again we're still working our way through that requirement right. So the question is who's on alert who has been on alert? Who is no longer on alert and is going? I don't have a. I don't have a specific list for you today, 10 and 12 000 have been the total amount who have been alerted roughly. Is it safe to deduct seven thousand from that roughly to say that there are the remainder we're still waiting? So again, we got ta be careful here.

Making not not everybody that has been put on a heightened alert posture is earmarked for the nato response force. Some of those units are simply that the secretary wanted to make sure they were more ready to go in a unilateral capacity. Some may be uh perfectly placed in being to be used for the vjtf, we'll have to see what what what the requirements look like um. So it's it's not uh! It's not buying really evading everything he's doing a great job.
These units that the president announced yesterday that 7 000. They could very well fit the bill for the nato response, force, um and uh, and maybe they won't and we'll have them. Uh ready in a three-point stance in case we need them from uh from from a unilateral perspective. So that's why i'm being very careful today, because it's uh it's not either or it's uh, it's a menu of options that are going to be available to national leaders and again what i can promise you is as we get solidity on this and and more specificity.

You know we'll we'll detail that, for you specificity several thousand more, who are on some sort of heightened alert for europe in general, it is safe to say that one force it is safe to say that yeah silly. Thank you um. I understand that nato uh gave the order to prepare the troops. What would trigger nato to deploy them? Would it be russian troops going to the west of ukraine or what kind of threat would trigger their effective deployment that that really is a decision for the knack to make for the alliance to make it wouldn't be a unilateral u.s decision um? I think today's uh approval of the defense plan and the activation itself, as i said, is historic, uh first time that they have been been so activated um, that's a big deal now again.

What does it look like? How many, and where does the alliance want to place them? All of that is still being worked out and it's and and so i i can't honestly answer your questions about what what the trigger is um. I think you can safely assume that that what has been triggered here is the activation and the trigger for that has been this unlawful, uh very heavy explosions heard in kiev as new air raid warnings. Sound russia into ukraine. Yeah secretary also mentioned about providing defense article support and also including air defense systems to ukraine.

Is there going to be any input from the united states, any type of air defense systems like patients or advanced defenses? What i would tell you is we're continuing to look for ways to support ukraine to defend themselves. We have continued to do that and uh and we're going to look uh to do that going forward and we're very actively engaged in in those efforts to to help them better get another air rating lethal and non-lethal assistance from the very get-go. I have not been detailing uh for any of you, each and every package, each and every shipment, because i think you can understand - and it's particularly relevant now - that ukraine is involved in a no kidding invasion of their country, um, that we wouldn't want to put it Out there, in the public space everything they're getting from the united states, so uh we're going to continue to be judicious about how much detail we put, but we know they have self-defense needs we're going to do the best we can and what's more other nations are Too, it's not just the united states david without detailing. Can you say, are you continuing to ship defense uh equipment to ukraine? We are uh, we are, we have.
Let me put it this way david. We we have not we're not talking about uh the effort to help them defend themselves. We have not talking about the effort to provide security assistance in a lethal in a non-lethal way in the past tense. I'd leave it at that janie.

What does that even mean? We're not talking about in a past tense, we're doing we're continuing to provide ways for them to defend themselves. That's as far as i'm going to go, we're continuing, i'm just moving we're continuing. I'm just looking at ways to support you are continuing to perform. It's not yeah, it's that two words yeah we're not talking about it in past tense, we're it's present progressive all day.

You know what they say at this white house present progressive or die come on. You know russia has wanted that it will retaliate. Let's put it this way, i ain't talking in no past tense. I ain't no past tense nanny.

What is your comment? What is my comment about? Do they go to school for this, like? How do you learn how to talk like this? It will retaliate immediately. If there's a falling ain't, no past tense nancy we're going to do everything that we need to do to defend our country and, as the president has said, we're going to do what we need to do to defend every inch of nato terror. You know who they need to get to talk from the ex-basketball coach from michigan that guy's not going to mess around. I just leave it at that.

That's who they need. Yeah. Someone reminded me of his name, the guy who just got fired for like slapping the wisconsin coach or whatever we need that to go down. He should be the guy who's like conveying our message.

How can you comment on this, and i've also heard that he is free korean peninsula issues? If south korea joined jawan, he needs to be doing the us press conferences. Oh he wasn't fired. Did he like step down? I thought he was fired. Oh suspended gotcha, south korea doing this, they will like have yeah you gotcha.

We welcome. Imagine him doing this talk right now, south korean allies. We welcome uh their. This is to um and i think the message is very struck.

Another coach that mr putin continues. This guy's getting a little boring and the market's about to close. So let's just watch that, especially because i have money on the line. Here's how this goes.

Remember i told you, i sold the call credit spread. I sold a put credit spread well bamo. It is right here, okay, so the call credit spread. I get the money i get the dollars per spread, i sold if it stays below 346 and i get the 20 per put credit spread that is sold if it stays above 343..

So this one was 343 by 342, so i need it above the higher number and i need it below this lower number, so, basically an iron condor. If i think it's going to stay in a range, i get the max money. 346. 343.
The 343, this one's the top one already crushing it, the one that looks sus is right here. I have two minutes to go and i just need to stay below this line and i get the money for both of them in reality, as long as it's below 340 620, because that's the money i got down will be break even so, i don't start to Lose money until it's above 3, 46, 21, but but my max money, i i want my max money. Max money is right below 346 and also the other side 343. But we're not near that one.

But once again, this stuff is all posted. It's pinned to the top of chat. This is where hey i placed both of these today, so basically, twenty dollars, twenty dollars per spread, so forty dollars, if it hits with risking 180, so you're risking um a 25 type of a thing there percentage of profitability um. It's roughly 70 and 70, which makes it about a 50 percent chance of making some form of money on this play, and it looks like this one ideally could hit, but i just i just like: let's go to 345.99, that's what i'm cool with all right.

We are in the final minute. Am i gon na make the money or not? We are close. We are i'm feeling good, i'm feeling confident, i'm feeling agile, the agile chris hemsworth, i'm feeling good, i'm paying for my bar money this weekend, we're getting there all right about 40 seconds out 40 seconds out to know if i'm going to the bar or not all Right we're getting a little close, let's not hope, there's some fancy. Schmancy 30.

Second push all right final 30 seconds, i'm feeling good about the money we're getting we're, definitely getting paid with the puts it's the calls that are a little bit sus all right, we're trending! The wrong way definitely trending the wrong. No, no, no! No! No stop no 10 seconds all right! We could do this. No, no! No! No! No! No five seconds come on man come on. Let's be cool about this: let's be cool! There we go there.

We go the good guys end up winning, so both of those paid, the iron condor we sold a call credit spread, we sold a put credit spread both ended up paying out. So we got a little spicy there a couple seconds later and we would have been not in the good territory um. So any of the like. That's the explanation of what it is and we've been doing more and more credit spreads.
