What's shaken bacon, i hope you're having a beautiful weekend moon gang it it's time to talk about another internet phenomena. If you identify as an ape we're gon na need you, because your voice can be heard and we need to show the rest of the world. How strong our community is, and this particular phenomena is playing out on reddit, the subreddit is particularly place and i'll be explaining what is going on there and showing you what the apes are up to now. So once again, that's going to be the main focus of this video, but i do want to talk a little bit about the overall market, we'll be getting into some of the ortex data points.

A little story about ken griffin over there at citadel. And if you have been following these jazz cabbage stocks, we'll be talking about that as well. So with all that being said, let's hop right into it. So before we get into the really fun stuff of how you can show the world how strong the apes are.

Very quickly, in terms of the overall market, to kick off not only the new month, but the new fiscal quarter, the s p 500. It ended in the green and we saw a lot of strength right at the end of the day. And to me, that's saying that you have big money: pensions fund money, managers that type of a thing right at the end of the day positioning themselves, most likely for the month or the quarter, i'm seeing some buying going on there just so you know year to Date, the overall market is actually down 4.6, so not yet in the green one of the worst quarters. In terms of q1 2022, we had one of the worst quarter, performances that now we've seen in the past two years, but i also want to remind you of this in terms of seasonality.

What we've seen over the past two decades worth of data from the end of march to the end of april? It's one of the most bullish periods of the year. Does that mean it has to play out like this every single year? No, but i just want to let you know, what's going on for the past two decades kind of let you know if we're actually being supported by tailwinds from a seasonal standpoint and in terms of where we're at this particular year. Well, what we're seeing is actually referred to as a hammer candlestick, and you could see that you have a long wick and the body kind of looks like a hammer. That's what we saw to close out the week and obviously kick off the month and the new quarter.

This is a bullish reversal pattern and what i'm really seeing is kind of a cup potentially the start of a nice handle. If this starts to push, especially if we're in the realm of 458, i would then look for the test of 462 and possibly a pop, then to 472.. Once again, this is for the overall market, i'm seeing some bullishness, but if, unfortunately, this is a false signal, i'll be looking for this to catch itself at 450, if it can't that i'm watching 446. so right now the s p.

500. Yes, we're down! On the year, but we are now in a bullish period and this should help rise, the rest of really all equities uh. It's just kind of the tailwind headwind type of argument, but in the short term, maybe to kick off the first week or two of april. I'm i'm seeing some bullishness now, i'm not saying it's absurdly bullish and it doesn't ever have to play out this way.
Remember not a financial advisor, i'm just letting you know my thoughts of what's going on now. Let's talk about the fun stuff related to amc and gme, and this is exactly where i need you and the rest of the ape community needs you. So you got to get over on to the subreddit place, r slash place and what's going on here. Is this restarted on april 1st april's fool's day and the last time they did this type of, i guess almost social sociology experiment was back in 2017 and they restarted it, and what happens is right now.

This will run for four days so depending on when you are watching this. This will end on april 4th. Basically, you have 16 color options and you can change one little block and when you do that, then you're timed out for a duration of time. So really it's it's giant communities competing against other giant communities and right here.

Of course, the ape community, gamestop and amc are huge in the bottom left over here you could see, gamestop buy hole, drs and then you even see roaring kitty and a very. I think this is going for ryan cohen and then you have super sunk, loopering, immutable x, so the gamestop community very, very strong and then the same right. Here, amc uh, you have amc stock and then you have donkey kong right here. So both communities, the ape communities, are showing up and i don't want to ruin, but there is a where's waldo on here.

Waldo is on here and he's a little bit of an aggressive wall, though he's flipping the rest of people off so i'll. Let you spend the time looking at that, but when the way this works is other communities are coming in and they're trying to change the color blocks to make it look new, so you almost have to protect your land and then, if you want to spread it More, you just need a big group of people so come on over to reddit r slash place, and you can use your time and like basically color the block the way you need to and like. Maybe we could expand it even bigger and bigger and bigger. But i'll make sure to link this in the description below, so you can get right to the subreddit, it's very cool and it's just these types of internet.

I guess community community competitions, these phenomenas, they're so fun and to me this actually shows the strength of. What's going on with the apes, because, right now they are dominating a clear, clear part of this overall canvas. I think it's fun, but just so you know amc once again kind of in the upper center right here and then in the lower left is where game stops going and then you also have donkey kong and some other really fun. Things happening here, pretty cool to check it out now in terms of amc and jimmy.
Just you know very quickly: amc has a short interest of 21 utilization, so 100. The cost to borrow still awkwardly low shares on loan 135 million. What i want to point out here is the average age of these shares on loan sky high at 80 days, and what i think is just really really crazy of this is like when you zoom out this, i mean this past week. We actually hit kind of a record for the average age of these shares on loan, and another thing that's been sky high is the total shares on loan like if we zoom out to one year at that moment, where amc went 95 in one day and went Up to 72, that was 138.8 million on loan we're at 135., so those numbers are pretty nuts, definitely the same relative to what we saw back in june, so interesting things going on there in terms of what's going on with amc, we had a beautiful run, an Absolutely beautiful run and at one point we were up 121 well really at one point, we're up 150 percent and then since then, unfortunately, we have now come down 22.

But remember this is a game where you really have to when in doubt, zoom out pay attention to what's going on, because i would argue yes does this decline suck 100 100, but don't forget we're still up 72 in three weeks, so i'm still gon na. Take that gain um so when in doubt zoom out and remember - and this is applicable not only to amc but also with gme. I think the people who maybe are the most frustrated in this situation be happy of that 70 gain 70, plus percent gain in three weeks. I think the people who are most upset are people who are buying very short term out of the money calls.

I think a good rule of thumb is whatever time you think you need for options which amc and gme right now are difficult to be like hyper, successful with options. But if you choose to engage in that, i think a good rule of thumb is whatever time you think you need it's probably good to double that, i'm just seeing a lot of people get burned on weekly premium. So please, please be careful with that. Now, in terms of gme short interest 22.5, we have a cost bar coming down a little bit but still kind of high.

It's at 9.3 percent utilization still max out same with amc. Ever since february, 8th they've been both maxed out and then shares on loan. We are at 21 million the average age of these shares on loan 66 days, so they've been in this for excess of two months and then, if we zoom out check out this, like even in the past year, we're kind of like we're seeing new highs and Sustained highs and some of these underlanding metrics for what's been going on in both amc and jimmy, and then the other thing i want to show you is these shares on loan. Look at the trend ever since november.

Until now, we did spike a little bit more, but we're still like sky high. I mean really. The only time we were higher is when we were coming into the insanity of january of 2021 when we had a short interest over 100. So it's pretty natural to expect that that would be higher, but over the past year i mean look at what we have been going on in the past six months.
Right like this is absolutely insane now in terms of gme's chart similar situation. We've had a crazy run at one point, we're as high as 144 155 percent. Since then, yes, we've come down a little bit 13 and does coming down 13. Just like amc.

Does the recent decline suck yeah but think about where we've now been over the past three weeks we're up 111, so overall, wind it out zoom out, calm cool collected everything is still nice. I think the people who are particularly upset about everything uh in the short term, it it's exactly that it's too short term of a time frame what's been going on recently. I am very, very happy with it. The past three weeks have been very strong.

It's just be careful about getting burned on those weekly out of the money calls because i think people you see the run you get excited, then people pile in and then all of a sudden we have a bunch of premium burn days. So that's something this uh. It's an opinion of mine. Obviously i'm not a financial advisor.

Nothing i ever say is buy, sell or hold signal, but overall i would argue that things are looking pretty pretty nice now. In the past week there was a big big discussion about what is going on with the halt that we saw on tuesday, i believe the 29th march 29th. I did a full interview with dave lauer about that asking him every question that people were dming to me. So if you're curious about was it was it not? The halt wasn't illegal.

I know some people are pushing that the halt was illegally executed. It was not the craziness of the hall and where there's something that maybe regulators, not maybe regulators should definitely be looking into. Is the first 35 milliseconds right after the halt? That's where the data is a bit wonky and that's exactly what regulators should be looking into and if you want to know more about that check out the interview with dave lauer now very very quickly. This was posted by forbes.

Oh anything, i say about ken griffin in citadel understand that it's alleged it's an opinion and also can don't sue me. This is all just my opinion. Don't sue me, but i am of the opinion that there's no way they just wanted to do this. I feel, like you've, been getting a bad rap and you started begging all these people to write these pieces on you and apparently pay a photographer to do these.

Like blue steel, zoolander-esque type of shots, but that's just my opinion - don't sue me ken! I just want to bring up something to everyone here that will probably make you mad citadel securities griffin's. Other business is one of america's largest market makers. When it comes to equity, the firm accounts for more than 25 of all u.s trades, 40 of all retail trades and more than 30 percent of stock options volume right there, the middle one, 40 percent of retail trades, 90 percent of retail traders are not going to A lit exchange - and forty percent of that is all ken griffins. If you were trading equities on the likes of robin hood or weeble, you are directly benefiting citadel securities.
They are not citadel. The hedge fund is in the game of playing a direction but citadel securities. They just care about trading volume and the more people trading the more money they make, because they're shaving a little bit off of every trade and that's why he is like a multi-multi-billionaire with a b griffin employs smart mathematicians and scientists who harness cutting-edge technology, predictive analytics Machine learning, artificial crime and a little hint of crime. Okay, well once again, remember alleged these other things, probably alleged as well, but once again these are just my opinions and if you look into finra and the amount of times they've been hit with fines, i think regulators would agree with me that they're not always playing On the right side of regulations not always playing on the right side of the law, though, it collects a fraction of a penny per share on each trade citadel securities brought in seven billion in revenue in 2021., seven billion it was a record-setting year for them.

Remember. If you were trading on brokerages that engage in payment for order flow, you are most likely directly benefiting senator securities, i.e ken griffin and i think it's about to get worse, especially for those who really follow. Crypto, the investment by paradigm, which specializes in crypto underscores griffin's intention to become a leading market maker in the fragmenting but fast-growing cryptocurrency trading business. So he's looking to just double dip here, he's not only doing it for equities and options.

But now it looks like he's trying to get it into the world of crypto. I very much hope that someone steps in and does something because he's going to do the same thing with all the crypto training he'll step in and do the exact same thing where he takes all the order flow is shaving off a little bit. Uh continues to do all like the basic that he's already done in the world of stocks and options. Now he looks to be applying it to crypto, so just wanted to give you a heads up there and the final thing i want to talk about that got some excitement.

Last week was tilray cgc s and dl all of those, the etf mj. I'm talking about devil's lessons jazz cabbage, the wacky tobacco well house passes landmark marijuana legalization bill. Obviously, here lawmakers approved the measure 220 to 204, so now it'll be going on to the senate. People are predicting that it'll be a more difficult fight in the senate to go through just because of the composition of who's in the senate right now, so it was kind of expected to go through the house.
That would this isn't that much of a surprise. People are really paying attention to the senate and right now, there's nothing really scheduled for it. So as soon as this storyline develops of like, if there is a date for it to be voted on, obviously i'll be covering it, because it has a huge implications on sndl tilray, uh, cgc, mj, the whole host of them and according to house speaker nancy pelosi. This landmark legislation is one of the most important criminal justice reform bills.

In recent history, pelosi said the legislation would deliver justice for those harmed by the brutal unfair consequences of criminalization. I get so insanely pissed off with this type of rhetoric, because they're, acting as if it was something like not out of their control, as if it was something that just happened like this. Is us the u.s government stepping up and doing what's right, listen, you're, the ones who made the laws that you made it illegal. You were the ones who wrote the laws and then put people in prison like this is insane and then they're like they're patting themselves on the back and like i just, i hope, they're not throwing out their shoulders patting themselves too hard because they were also the Ones who made it a whole massive criminal, offense, absolutely insane but hey in terms of equities, there's, probably something to be paying attention to in terms of the host of ones.

I just listed because it does seem like we're getting a little bit more political traction, and this is one of those things that i would argue. Fundamentals and technicals are second tier in terms of all those stocks, because the number one thing is what's going on from a political sense and if it does pass the senate, which that's gon na, definitely take some serious like capitol hill arguing for it to happen. But if it does, i would expect obviously a very bullish reaction in the entire sector. That is what i have for you today.

I think it's going to be very, very exciting week ahead. Overall, i appreciate your time if you enjoyed this video. It would be awesome if you could help me out by dropping a like and if you haven't already join up with the moon game by hitting the subscribe button i'll catch you in the next video have a beautiful day.
