I Don't know if anybody else feels this way who went to college or like postgrad as well but going to school for business and then getting my M's in business like they really made it seem like once you graduate college like financially you are set like you will never be struggling because you're this educated you know, businesswoman or businessman and like is SC easy for they scam. I've been in the workforce for 2 years now with my Master's Degree working in marketing and I've saved a total of $140 I've never had so little money in my entire life. little all of my money. Go thought Wasing I wish I had 14 and food for me to eat and half the time I have to choose between filling my car with gas or eating.

This is not the reality that was promised to me from College college is a scam.

Marketing was the April fools joke that the other business majors made up, that the school forgot to take out of the schedule of classes, in the following semesters.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Cicero1776 says:

Math and History BA and MA, finished paying off debt, and expecting an economic collapse, because too many are being misled, enslaved, and destroyed: economically, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The US emancipated the slaves, then shipped slavery overseas, but are looking to bring it back.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Grave Stoner says:

You still need to stick your neck out there. Stop working a marketing job that you can get withiut a degree. Apply for better jobs, go to interviews, tell them you want 75k a year. Next 100k, so on and so forth.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars idontfeellikeit says:

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Miller says:

The education teaches you how to manage and use your money you probably just didn’t learn from your classes

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Beau Woodbury says:

That’s the problem people thinking life is going to be easy. It never is doesn’t matter what you do or have much money. The only way for it to get better is to Follow Christ

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick Revolver says:

It’s not about the fact that you graduated, it’s about what you learn and how you learn (I do take the account that the education system in US is doomed).

Higher education is all about independent study and research and ability to communicate. If you manage to learn both, any career will be opened to you no matter if it’s something you studied. I believe that a university gives you the environment to develop YOURSELF. If the only thing you’ve done is the stuff you’ve been told to do than oh well, most likely you failed (even if grades are top) when it comes to your own development.

I know it’s tough and we come into college young not knowing what we want or will do. Find something that’s not tied to any profession aka transferable skill and work on that. Like for example I made my goal to spot anything that people would describe as “there is no way somebody can do this” and “there is no way this was done in such short amount of time with that quality” and went from there.

I ended up with a useless (in my opinion, because I don’t think it would matter to much for the society) dissertation which I created in 10 days and was about 78 pages. Got the highest mark on it and lecturer pushed me to make an IEEE conference.

Few weeks later after I graduated, went to an internship. Done the training in 4 days instead of 3 weeks and on my 5th week slammed an interview for a Senior position. That being said the job was not in my area of expertise but because I learned to “learn” and “deliver stuff quickly in good shape” this made it possible.

Pick your approach right and you’ll be good. Challenge yourself every day 🫡

Yeah the thing is this would never happen with stem. just saying

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Olsen 204 says:

Whoever told you it was easy lied. Not one of my business professors or mentor type persons ever told me it would be easy. In fact, college taught me specifically that it would be difficult lol. Should go back to your college and ask for a refund lol.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Payaso Kushen says:

Me: i dont even have HS diploma or a GED but ive started a small aluminum siding and guttering LLC, making $200/hr. It took 15k to get the tools and vehicle. I made my money back in one month and its been 8 years since i started.
Me: You've been scammed out of Time and money.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mason Heard says:

if you have a masters in business and can’t make money that’s your fault. point blank period just how this works. the school gives you the necessary knowledge to be applied in the field. you aren’t guaranteed any type of job.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MINIKaybo says:

Facts man, sorry you had to figure it out the hard way.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shaun Burns says:

College is good for law and medicine only, anything after that can be shadowed

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Procrastination Domination says:

There are so many pointless degrees out there it’s crazy! Unless you are going to college for a specific specialty like something in the STEM fields then don’t bother. You could make 6 figures learning a trade and put the money you would for college towards a house.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Levon Darratt says:

you have a MASTERS? you cant even talk, WTF! probably equivalent of a high school degree in Europe.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Regular guy says:

Probably buying lots of cloths and eating at restaurants hard to save
