Let's say I had to have $60,000 You go to a bank and you say I need $61,000 They then say okay, here's your credit. this is what we'll give you or won't give you or do you have an asset that we could leverage against well what do you think that I used as my asset I used my paintings Yeah I said well I have these paintings. What people don't know is is anytime I did a painting I would have it appraised and once it was appraised I could then get insurance on it so when the bank seen it they were like okay, we'll give you $60,000 I can borrow against them I now get 60,000 I buy the Tattoo Studio that's crazy. You didn't purchase them, you painted them.
That's right. And here's the thing. oh no, please don't take my paintings cuz I couldn't do it again. If you think about it, it's kind of a hack way.
infinite money glitch of selling your painting. If that happens and they have to recall the loan and they thus tank your paintings, they're not going to keep giving you the loan. They'll do it once and then if your paintings have basically no value, your credit's going to take a massive hit and it's not like you would be able to repeat it that many times if they find that your paintings are not that liquid.
The thought that ANY insurance company would insure his paintings is delusional. Unless he is established in the art world they couldn't appraise the paintings because there is no basis of comparison. Dum dums

I work in buying and reselling. Appraisals are nonsense values in my opinion. Good for an insurance claim for total loss though.

They would likely just auction the painting, and you’d pay the difference
