Faces sec investigation on cryptocurrency listings. If you have money on coinbase. This is your your freaking warning that for the time being things might be a little bit sus you might want to take your money out. Maybe do some cold storage store in your own wallet.
Maybe get it onto a different one that you trust a bit more. I'm not saying. Coinbase is completely awful and horrific. I'm saying for the time being you might want to be a little.
Bit more. Cautious because this is not. Good coinbase is facing a us. Probe into whether it improperly let americans trade digital assets.
That should have been registered as securities. According to three people familiar with the matter. Most of the time here i'm pitching you stories about how there's only a person familiar with the matter. But now we're up to three people familiar with the matter if they're taking applicants like dude.
This is my submission right here i want to be a person familiar with a matter one of these days. So anywho. The sec scrutiny of coinbase has increased since the platform expanded to the number of tokens in which it offers training said two of the people who asked not to be named because the inquiry hasn't been disclosed publicly. I'll be the leftover one who you can know my name the probe by the sec's enforcement unit predates the agency's investigation into an alleged insider trading scheme that led the regulator last week to sue.
A former coinbase manager and two other people this is a show times two trading securities and alleged insider trading. We are confident that our rigorous diligence process a process the sec has always reviewed keeps securities off our platform and we look forward to engaging with the sec on the matter. So the chief legal officer. Said that hey no we're going to be fine not a big deal and this is kind of the run around we've gotten from crypto companies.
In the past like everything's fine everything's fine and then a couple days later we found out no it's not fine at all so hey i will happily use my platform to inform all of you that things might be a little bit not the best so if you're on coinbase maybe think about transferring out remember not your keys. Not your coins. Anyway recently a couple months ago. Coinbase had that 10q filing that said some of these custodial assets might actually be part of a bankruptcy hearing if it ever comes to that don't get caught up don't let the situation of celsius or voyager.
If you were lucky enough to parry that evade it just not be involved. I don't know if coinbase is going that way i'm not a fortune teller. I'm not a lawyer. I'm not that smart.
But i'm telling you if it looks a little bit like if it makes you a little bit worried let's say why not just sidestep. It now this is your official coinbase worry warning. I guess if you are worried and hey maybe in the future. It'll be a okay and we can come back to it.
But right now. I just wanted to share this with you because i think it's pretty freaking important.
Honestly there is nothing to worry about with CB. The SEC is obviously over stepping their boundaries with allegations again Even at a worse case scenario they would just get a fine. CB is probably one of the most secure exchanges to keep your assets on. Anyone who does their DD will know this.
Immediately took my ETH off Coinbase after I saw this news. Sitting safely in MetaMask for now…

Theres someone running for Senate in Arizona who had campaign donations from Coinbase. He is supported by Trump and even has signs that say he's going to prosecute Fauci. Thats enough for me to pull my money out of coinbase.
