They have definitely been lying to us about inflation. This is insane. This Man Reveals the True Food inflation by comparing prices with the price tags on photos he took a year ago. So I'm walking around Costco here and I'm noticing these prices.
For example, these Madress Lentils 15.99 I Bought those a year ago for $6.99 I Keep getting told that we got. you know, 6 7% inflation. You got to be kidding me. Let's look at what else we got going on here.
We literally bought this chicken broth 569 2 months ago 999 Dang. This is the flower we were buying for $5.99 last sh. That's crazy. That's crazy.
The government has its own math that they manipulate in a dodgy way. Yeah, definitely without a doubt being underreported. I Don't think any of us are questioning that.

Not brag worthy but I have worked at a grocery store for 15+ years…a lot of the more expensive things haven’t gone up too terribly much but it’s the cheap struggle foods like ramen that has seen big spikes over the past 10 or so years compared to what it was, though don’t get me started on produce 😅
The only thing i haven't seen go up to much is the meat, but everything else is definitely way more expensive. A trip to the store for a basket of bullshit is always 20$. I would say it is up like 20% since last year.

Okay. Here's the deal. It's called Reaganomics. When you hear politicians say "smaller government" what they really mean is deregulation and tax breaks. This allowed corporations to shrink markets which means CEO's could raise prices with impunity. Mix this in with price gauging and whammo. Inflation in America.
