Woman hit for 43 million on a slot machine but the casino claims it was a mistake and offered her a steak dinner instead. In history, the largest slot machine Jackpot in the country ever. The computer screen showed a win, but there was no pot of gold. At the end of this rainbow, the winner went from nearly 43 mil Jesus to nil.

she cried foul to seven on your side. Oh I would sue the hell out of him. Can't even describe the feelings like my whole body just got known. Call it the 42.9 million dollar selfie Katrina Bookman's flashing her Mega smile because behind her on the slot machine screen evidence of her Mega Win You know? Well, that's a good thing about what's my face Katrina's used to disappointment.

Raised in foster care homeless as a teen, he raised four kids, four kids all by herself. struggled at foster care. raised four kids by herself. This story is going against the casino way too quickly.

Oh, they're so scary crap into it's so hard for me to kind of cope. The mother's already earmarked the millions buying a barber shop for her son and giving a big chunk back to her community. We saw this a little. Community You know the apparent jackpot hit within late? August at Resorts World Casino it was Casino chaos in this video shot by Katrina's partner.

After she reported her huge winning, she was surrounded by customers. Casino personnel and security. Katrina Escorted off the casino floor. she was told to come back the next day for the decision.

I said So what did I win He said you didn't win nothing Katrina says the only winning the casino offered. He's offered me a steak and a steak dinner. Yeah, a steak dinner. They win and now the house doesn't want to pay out.

To me, that's unfair attorney Alan Ripko says at the very least Katrina should win the maximum allowed on the Sphinx machine. The casino says that's 6 500. the machine takes the money when you lose, it ought to pay it when you win. We asked the State Gaming Commission.

They told us Katrina's machine malfunctioned stated on all machines malfunction, voids, all pays, and plays. Oh, he still thinks at the minimum she should be awarded the maximum payout on that slot machine. Well the story gets a little bit more interesting there. So something funky clearly had to happen if the maximum was 6.5 000..

if you're sitting at a machine and it says maximum payout 6.5 000 and then out of nowhere it says you won 43 million something happened and then also like it's one of those things that it like seems shitty but I'm assuming from a legal standpoint they're protected. I would assume that the casino is protected because if they have the sign that says malfunctions, don't pay out. If it's also well known, the maximum win and then it shows a number above the max maximum win. It sounds like some sort of malfunction, coding error or something like that, but also in the like public court, the people are not going to take the side of the casino I Mean the lady who won I Guess she kind of does deserve a like whatever.
The max is the 6.5 000, which is dramatically different than the 43. but uh, the story is a little bit more complicated than you'd think.

So, what do we learn from it? Don't go to Casino's. It's better to play the lottery

So the casino can just claim a malfunction for every large win. Every aspect of our country is turning out to be bullshit.

All slots say that malfunctions voids all pays. It’s standard.

No the maximum slot win on the machine is 6500, jackpot is usually a running tally from the entire casino and takes a slice from every machine play.

The max unsigned int value is 4294967295. Add a decimal point to format for $$$ and you get $42,949,672.95. That's not a coincidence, no doubt a bug.

As a former slot tech, you can go into the system and confirm their winning or malfunctions by reversing the play. Every time you hit the spin button, the game records it and I can go in and see what it spun last and whatever else before that. Im assuming thats what the slot tech did and came to that conclusion. Also, you can’t print out a ticket after winning that amount. You’ll get a check or cash handed to you in a jackpot over $1200
