See well, they're just open their hearts I Hate most crowded places. they're all fake destinations won't you look for Eign? foreign Oh Golly Golly Golly gee welcome back to the Mad core show where I am the show and you are my course. So I'm happy we were able to pull this off for today and create this masterpiece of content. I'm excited You should be excited because the market is still it is still to the upside.

and if that doesn't make you feel some sort of way I Don't know what will feels like we are moon bound. what moon I Have no idea. In fact, I'm not that good at astronomy or planetary science or whatever you have to be to know the various moons. I Know that we have a moon I Know that there's another Moon out there named Titan is Pluto now a moon I don't really have much Moon based knowledge Titan I'm pretty sure Titan's a moon so whatever.

if you guys know a little bit more about moons and feel offended that I'm not naming your favorite Moon My apologies I By no means offense it, it's just lack of knowledge. Um so I just want to set the record straight there. a lot of people I can see you guys in chat just yelling like how couldn't Matt not say his favorite moon is my favorite Moon and my favorite moon is his I See you guys I see you're yelling. You guys look very very angry in chat right now and once again, my apologies I Just um I mean you're still going.

you're still fighting about it once again. Uh, don't take it offensively please. I Just don't know much about moons. Um, so now that we can move on for that because you guys are very angry.

uh I Want to talk about why I think the market is going to go higher? Um, and basically it's as simple as the daily Trends To the upside seasonalities, to the uptrot upside uh, the shorter term exponential moving averages are to the upside as of now. obviously that could change and then two different methodologies I use for checking the internals of the overall Market are also to the upside. So I'm feeling good I Mean obviously things can change as always I Want to wait those first 10 20 30 minutes of the day, but around 9 45 around 10 A.m I'm going to reevaluate all the market internals and if everything's looking good I think I'm going to add into my bullish position. Now, if you've been hanging out with me, you kind of know that I've had some good trades recently and then most recently had some bad trades and then recently recently recently I ended up making some of those losses back.

not all of them, but some of them. and right now I am swinging some positions. so I just want to be up front with you I want you to know that I have meta calls and Tesla calls both for July 28th not this Friday but next Friday and then for this Friday I have Nvidia calls and SPX so S P 500 calls so some about half about half and half roughly. Uh, but yeah, even financially about half and half.

so uh, roughly split between those two. So I'm going to go over all my positions. As always, we could talk about it on locals if you have any specific questions, comments concerns: if I end up having to cut it before like I'm streaming or when I'm not streaming or if I add on anything like that I update you during locals as things happen to office stream that I feel as if you should know about so I'll be going over that I'll be going over seasonality I'll be going over earnings. We did get a slew of new earnings Goldman Sachs a big old swinging a Miss Uh, so Goldman Sachs down in pre-market kind of.
So in the world of financials, everything's beating. but thus far we have two notable misses. mainly Goldman Sachs but also PNC Mist as well. But I think as soon as we start trading today, people are going to start forgetting about it because of the craziness of what's going down today.

And that craziness is two massive earnings reports after the market closes by the name of Tesla and Netflix I will be 100, right? roughly 50 of the time. I Just want you to know that my bias on both of them is bullish. and my reasoning for that is because everyone on Reddit and Twitter and especially Financial media and all the big wigs with all the money that actually can push the market up or down. Everyone's just screaming about how it's overvalued.

Everyone's just yelling yelling, nope, we're trading at too high of a PE ratio, blah blah blah blah blah. Fundamentally over value, Fundamentally overvalued, fundamentally over value. And then when I take in that information and I pair it with the fact that I and I don't have any stats, facts or figures to back this up. but I'm of the belief that the market makes the most pain for the most amount of people.

So if a lot of people are bearish, I'm thinking that the Market's going to go up to make the most amount of pain for the most amount of people. It's just a general vibe that I kind of operate with under the market might be right, might be wrong. Like I said, I don't have any data that really supports it. but when I see the boat getting loaded up too heavy in One Direction Whether bullish or bearish, I kind of look at the other one.

So from a financial standpoint, do I believe that everything's fundamentally overvalued? Yeah, But we're also not here to talk about investing. We're here to talk about day trading and swing tradium and maybe some medium-term longer term swings. So is it good to know generally what's going on in the economy? Yes. But really, remember when it comes to day trading and swing trading, the economy in the stock market are.

they're two different things. They are very much two different things. So yeah, yes, we could all sit here and talk about how things are fundamentally overvalued. and yet money's still being made to the upside.

Just because it's fundamentally overvalued, doesn't mean like all of a sudden things turn. Eventually, this Market turns and I think it turns hard, but I am attempting to learn my painful lessons between Friday and Monday of training and you cannot fight the trend. So when it turns yeah, we can go bear bearish, but we're not showing any signs of actually turning. so I just want to throw that out there.
a little bit of a talk on the overall market and I want to remind everyone that in terms of macroeconomic events, we got some stuff at 8 30 this morning relating to the world of Home Building so we'll go over that. I Want to remind you big earnings to start like we've already had a lot of financials report but now we're getting into the world of tech. Tesla and Netflix this evening after the market closes, then we'll go into seasonality and I also found some other stories that maybe you'll be interested in now before we get into all that show. A little bit of love to today's stream stream sponsor: I'm talking about Street Beat folks.

Stock futures rise slightly after Dow Post a seventh straight day of gains You, You heard me right, that was not a stutter. that was not by any way me. Miss Speaking the Dow has gone green seven days in a row. crazy.
U.S Treasury yields fall as investors wait Global Inflation Outlook So yields down bonds up. Kind of a little bit of a reversal of what happened for most of last year. Quickly, let's go to our friends across the pond. UK Inflation rate slides to 7.9 percent in June below expectations.

So now the UK is going the way of U.S of obviously the magnitudes bad and our magnitude's better, but ours are still on a relative basis bad. But overall, the world does seem the global economy does seem to be cooling off. So a quick breakdown of that and now I Want to get into some interesting news. Carvano? Carvan is a stock a lot of you have been talking about.

Carvana is the stock then. I've been training a little bit lately with not much luck, small losses, small wins, like nothing too special going on there. I Don't know how many of you were checking tracking Carvano overnight, but it closed out the day at 39.40 Then out of nowhere they decided to move their earnings to early this morning and it went from forty dollars down to 35. And then the announcement actually came out this morning.

And now Carvan is trading all the way up at 58.. Carvana's going nuts and it's all because of this. Carvana shares soar 30 on deal to reduce debt by 1.2 billion. Now this is all going to be done through restructuring, but that's not the full story.

Carvana has reached a deal with no excuse me Note: holders to reduce the used car retailers total debt outstanding by over 1.2 billion. So this deal or the negotiations have been in talks for quite a while and obviously they just pulled it off and then they wanted to announce it. Obviously with their earnings yada yada yada share the company's sword in pre-market trading Wednesday After being off roughly seven percent before the announcement, they were off seven percent because everyone's like, uh oh, they're going to announce dilution and that's why the market dropped. And in a weird way, those people weren't necessarily wrong.

But before that, Carvana short sellers lose one billion after Record Rally Used Car Dealers stock closes up 56 in biggest daily gain. Short covering explains only a portion of Thursday's move. So this was from a bit ago. as in, they're losing even more now because it's just ripping.

But I Do want you to know that even though they've restructured some of their debt and that helped wipe out 1.2 billion of their debt, they still might be doing a dilution. On July 19th 2023, the company entered into an agreement with Citigroup whereby the company may sell up to the greater of a number of shares that class a common stock representing in aggregate offering of 1 billion or an aggregate number of 35 million shares. So it is being diluted. So one thing's like amazingly good, like just wiping out a billion dollars worth of debt.
but the other thing is, well, this is going to help with that like it's going to help them raise money, but it is deluding like it's definitely dilutive Movement by the tune of a billion dollars. Obviously, as of now, the market seems to not care because Carvana, it's up 45 after gaining nine percent yes yesterday. like it's just so wild. so it still has a lot of debt.

Um, even right here, restructuring it by 1 billion that wipes out a billion and then this billion. So I think that brings them into the realm of like six or seven billion still in debt. so they're still saddled with really, really bad debt and some of the stocks that we've tracked here. Historically, we know what that means.

like eventually gravity wins out I don't think Carvana is gonna keep going I don't think this is something that I would just arbitrarily Diamond hand and assume it just keeps going and going and going. But right now, once again, don't fight the trend. There's a difference between fundamental value and the current Trend Eventually, fundamental value wins out. But remember, there could be a massive Distortion for quite a while.

So with this, if you're in Carvana, even though I don't think fundamentally, it's being accurately priced, ride the trend. why would you not be bullish right now I mean just holy cow. Now, be careful. Obviously, if it starts to turn to make money, you have to lock it in at some point right now.

I'm just want to let you know I'm speaking about this with no position I'm not long I'm not short I don't have calls I don't puts I have nothing to do with Carvana right now I'm tracking it as an interesting story of course I wish I had calls I wish I leveraged my entire account to YOLO calls for this Friday but hey, could have would have should have type of a deal. So anyway, Carvana crushing it for right now. But I do want you to know that there is going to be most likely a dilution to the tune of a billion dollars. One sack that's not doing so well this morning is Goldman Sachs Goldman Sachs ticker symbol GS misses on profit after hits from greensky and real estate.

So Revenue came in above expected 10.9 billion versus 10.84 estimate, but earnings per share came in lighter than expected 3.08 versus 318. Goldman Prophet tumbles on real estate hits and deal making slump firms return on Equity Falls to four percent worse among U.S Banks you can see right here of how Goldman's profit slump is worse on all of: Wall Street JP Morgan crushing it then Bank of America Morgan Stanley's in the red City groups even more in the red and Goldman is the most in the red. But here's what all the professionals have to say about it: John It's pretty incredible because even though they beat on the top line, there was a pretty significant Miss on the bottom line here for Goldman Sachs and the lowest Roe that they've seen in years, let alone a Miss for the market as well. So what happened here? There's a few items here that are a little bit hard to parse through.
There is the asset management unit that has a 1.2 nearly 1.2 billion dollar hit two pre-tax earnings because of the hits. Commercial Real Estate portfolio. Remember this is all part of the changing of Goldman Sachs They're trying to reduce their balance sheet when it comes to the asset envelope manager. We could talk more about commercial real estate later because they also have a hit tied to Green Sky.

This is a hundreds of millions of dollars write down because they're taking a Goodwill charge tied to that business sell all or parts of they've announced strategic options for that business. So they've really bit the bullet here in this quarter and you're seeing it down in the results. What was good about the results? They had equities trading that not only came in above expectations, they also came in above Morgan Stanley That has been an investment line for Goldman Sachs and they are beating pretty significantly. This is I Believe the third quarter they've come in in the last year.

Above Morgan Stanley thick was a light Miss and it was also a little bit deeper of a turn down than expected. You know we're going to want to hear from David Solomon and the executives here on whether there is a turnaround here in the trading in the investment banking story, whether things have really bottomed because that kind of a tone will set the stage for the rest of the year and the ability to bring in more money because they have done quite well here in equities and they are also bringing in record management fees. So have they taken the worst of the pain at Goldman Sachs So you get the idea of why there's a little bit of a fracturing between so many banks beating. but Goldman Sachs actually kind of doing arguably not well so just wanted to know with Goldman Sachs I Don't think many of us were trading it but I just wanted to give you the vibe of we've been tracking the financial sector quite a bit.

XLF so uh, kind of watching that today also wanting to watch kre that's the ETF for the regional banking sector that's showing in inverse head and shoulders I don't know why I'm talking about it like that when I could literally just show it to you on the chart if it ever loads, if it ever loads loading, loading, loading to me I see a very evident shoulder, head, shoulder snapping, the neckline potential movement I mean potential upside Gap below 57.50 if it really gets going. So I just wanted to point that out for you of people who are actively trading. uh, on the hang on, um, trading the regional banking sector or banks in general. So obviously Goldman reporting early this morning? uh NASDAQ reporting as well I believe they ended up beating.
Uh, who did we have interactive brokers ended up missing on their earnings and those are the ones that I remember off the top of my head after the market closes today. Tesla and Netflix are the huge ones, but people will also be paying attention to United and IBM recently as in Thursday of last week Delta beat which makes me feel that United will also be. but anyway I know everyone's paying attention to Tesla everyone's paying attention to Netflix Netflix had a crazy run yesterday. both Netflix and Microsoft went absolutely gangbusters, so definitely interesting to watch.

I Had Netflix calls for a while and actually they were supposed to expire on the 21st. I had them weeks ago and I dumped them at a nice profit. but man, if I held it now, it'd be hundreds of thousands of dollars and definitely kicking myself on that one. And that's a painful lesson.

the meter the move IR arbitrarily got out when I thought I saw some weakness and I thought I would save myself some money when in reality it was a healthy pullback and if I kept holding, it would be probably the biggest trade in my career. and here we are not taking the biggest trade in my career. So hey, something to cry about later on. In terms of macroeconomic reports, housing starts and building permits came out at 8 30.

so nothing else really scheduled for today. Tomorrow is a normal Thursday and then nothing scheduled on Friday But speaking of housing starts and building permits, mortgage refinance demand recovers Some after rates come off recent highs. Some people were clocking in still like above seven mid sevens near Eight. Some of these are just absolutely insane.

The average contract interest rate for a 30-year fixed rate mortgages with conforming loan balances decrease last week to 6.87 from 707. these are crazy high. Crazy high. Applications for mortgage to purchase a home fell one percent for the week and were 21 lower than the same week one year ago.

So definitely seeing some softness in the world of real estate at the moment in terms of seasonality for today. Overall: Market The Spy I'm talking about the S P 500 today does favor the Bulls historically. over the past two and a half decades, over the past 25 years, the Bulls have won this day 60 of the time with a profit factor of 1.43 So when it's above 50 and the profit factors above one, obviously, the bias is a bit bullish. and here you have the equity curve.

Uh, if you guys want this, I give it out for completely free on macross.locals.com Become a goonie today. That's how you officially become a goonie. It's in the description of the video. or you just go to Macors.locals.com and sign up and I give you this seasonality for literally every single day.

Five things you should know before that: Bell goes Diggity Ding Ding ding Today Wednesday July 19th Lucky number seven dealing with how many days the Dow has gone green. New Merger Rules: This is about the Justice Department and I believe the FTC Like they're trying to come up with better definitions of what's like monopolistic. and they were talking about horizontal expansion, vertical expansion. They had all these rules.
I found it kind of boring Goldman's turn Goldman Sachs swinging a Miss Microsoft's AI high So I think Actually, even though it didn't really seem like that in real time, the two crazy ones of yesterday were Microsoft and Netflix Dude, is this going to be a slow loading day and not only is it a slow loading day, but I'm typing. look at what happened with Microsoft So right here, 344 ripped to 367. Folks this from this low to this high at one point I Think it was in the realm of 190 billion dollars was added to its market cap. That's an entire AMD Microsoft in about an hour and a half, added an entire AMD to its market cap.

Think of like, let's get some perspective there. that is ridiculous. Absolutely truly insane. What is actually how big is Disney Did it added Disney It added more than a Disney all of Disney Mickey Mouse The guy with the big ears and they make more of a movies that it added more than an entire Disney to its market cap in an hour, hour and a half.

The entire company An entire AMD An entire Disney Dare I Say it dare I Say it it. added about 20 I Want to say about 25 Texas roadhouses to its market cap. That's actually the metric that we should really be going on. It added about 20 to 25 Texas roadhouses to its market cap.

That's actually arguably how all large Finance should be done I want it in units of Texas Roadhouse and Microsoft added multiple 20. 20 to 25. We'll call it 22. they added 22 Texas roadhouses to its market cap.

so that's that's that's what you need to know about Microsoft And it's all because of Microsoft shares clothes at a record high Tuesday After the Tech Giant released higher prices for its new artificial intelligence subscription service called Co-pilot for Microsoft 365. So basically the rumors are like 30 dollars per person per month. Their people are just looking at it as like a massive resin Revenue source Russia Hammers Uh Kiev so still going on there. but I it seems like that whole stuff not really having an impact on the day-to-day movement of the market anymore.

So anyway Microsoft Ripped and kind of out of nowhere Netflix Rip Two Netflix Went from 449 to currently trading at 481 482 hitting 485 in pre-market No big news on this. This is just a lot of positivity going into the earnings. Feels a little silly to chase now. I honestly wish I just got Netflix early yesterday morning I mean look at this beaut.

What a beaut. Clark So Netflix ripping as well. So if we hang on, let me know. we want Carvana up.

I'm sure you guys want Carvana up. uh I'm sure you want Tesla uh uh Tesla Reporting tonight, Carvana I Guess we could watch Netflix too just because it's crazy Like it feels like there's a lot to watch right now. So overall today. obviously my bias is bullish.
The larger time frames like the weekly, the daily, the four out, the two hour, everything's pointing to the upside as of now. obviously it could change on a moment's notice, but at this moment things are looking real good. so things are pointing up. seasonality.

today is bullish, um, and then obviously shorter time frames I Want to wait a little bit for the market to open and I want to wait for the internals to really start to load up. Just get some trading data in there. so I'm gonna be more. I I guess at 9 45, give me about 15 minutes.

Uh, I'll give you a better idea of like how bullish I am on the day. Is it that three-star setup is a four-star setup? Is it a five-star setup? That type of argument or that type of a discussion? But as of now, I'm clearly leading bullish and I get it. I get that everything's overvalued I'm right there with you. We can.

We can cry about it in our like. We could use the hundred dollar bills as our tears from our call options. I Get it. It's overvalued, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Totally there with you. But you can't fight the trend. You can't fight price action. It has just been.

I mean just higher highs? Higher lows. It does not pay to be a bear right now. Um, eventually this could change it. Eventually will change.

But I mean I get it? I I get how insane it is I'm there with you. But I do this to make money, not just to be right on. Like a fundamental breakdown: uh, we are currently 5.6 away from an all-time high. How disgusting is that? The all-time high on the Spy which is clocking in at 479.98 That's the all-time high.

We are five percent away from that. Five percent away from that. How ridiculous. You know this might be crazy, but imagine if we actually get there because all the tech stocks beat.

What if we have like a blow off top and like kind of like the way on the intraday basis we've been noticing those liquidity grabs. Here's a thesis for you. What if that's how things end up playing out just on the daily chart? What if we end up ripping all the way up to a new high and then like it kind of gets up there, dances around for a day too and then gets absolutely smashed and then sends it back down to like Valhalla uh could be an interesting play-up Uh, will it happen I don't know I Give it a low odd chance because like, what's the chance of me actually being right, but something fun to talk about and think about and Ponder regardless. Now two questions obviously I want to know your bias on the day, so we'll start with that one for the overall: Market I am leaning bullish on the day, but I want to get your thoughts and opinions? So uh, for the S P 500 we're opening up at, we'll call it 455.
455. by the end of the day, do you think we'll be above that or below that relative to 455. Do you think the Spy will be green or red at the end of the day? Let me know right now and you guys have like a minute to answer this because it doesn't count. If you do it after the Market opens, you need to.

Uh, you need to know it Like now. So you guys come on. Time's ticking. Time's tick and time's ticking.

time's ticking. Hurry up. Hurry up. Hurry up.

Hurry up. Hurry up. Hurry up. Hurry.

David Shaw says green Casey says green. Will you play carvana? No because I missed it. Uh, if it ever shows serious weakness in the future, I might go against it. but I mean I'm not going to try to catch an exploding rocket I clearly missed the move I was attempting to get in around 39.40 if you watched yesterday's stream I said if it pushes 39.40 it's an interesting entry and there was just so much else going on.

I Simply forgot about it up green blue Aaron Coming in with the blue green red first then green. Uh. I Just got the rumble notification that you're live watching live. Whoa.

That's some Inception stuff spooky. Um, is this is day trading? It might be. this could be whatever you want or Escape All right. So my second question: I See most of you are green.

There are some red votes. My question for you is what about Tesla Do you think not necessarily? does it beat or miss on earnings? Do you think the Stock's reaction will be bullish or bearish? I Don't really care if it beats or not I Want to know where the Stock's going to go? Because once again, that's how you make or lose money. So now second question of the day: when it comes to Tesla between today's close and tomorrow's open, do you think it's going to be bullish or bearish? Tesla Between today's close and tomorrow's open, how are you feeling about old Tesla old Tesla Obviously when we're speaking about Tesla, let's not forget that I'm the best Tesla Trader On this side of the Mississippi just want to throw that out there for everyone. And on that note, dignity, ding ding Ding! The casino is open.

Best of luck to all. Play responsibly if not have fun. All right. quick check in on the old, the old account, the old account.

All right. Where are we at? Where are we uh to do very quickly? Meta calls Nvidia calls Tesla calls SPX calls Things are looking good. Um, things looking good I unloaded half my Nvidia yesterday a whole SPX position and then half of the one that's still currently there. Uh, count trading at 170 which is a nice rebound of yesterday's low of 80.

Um, so watching Meta watching a video watching Tesla watching SPX and more than willing to create new positions add positions. But alas, I will be definitely definitely waiting for the first 10 15 20 minutes to play out. In fact, I'm gonna be waiting until 9 45. So I can reevaluate the market internals on the day as of now.
And granted, the Market's only been open for literally a minute. Uh, my first check on Market internals, that's definitely bullish. and then my second check I'm marketing American internals do that's definitely bullish. And my third check, let me check.

I have three different things to get into. Three different things. Three different things do. uh.

Neutral leaning bullish. Neutral leaning bullish. Uh oh. I Just had an alert on Nvidia Was that a good alert or a bad alert? Oh, a battler.

Shoot. Well, that's not good. Well, that's a bit of a bummer. That's a bit of a bummer.

All right. I definitely have to pay attention to Nvidia to figure out this is going to keep bleeding. Uh, Carvana bleeding from open but still up big? It's up 30 Tesla pushing to almost 297 and now just kind of chilling at 296. uh, spy is still going even though it looks like Tech is lagging a little bit behind this morning.

Not really. so it just happens to be my tech plays that are lagging behind a little bit this morning. so is it? Microsoft that's ripping? Yeah. Microsoft's having a good open Apple kind of going flat.

Interest: all right. So as I'm waiting for everything to continue to open once again, I'm trying to not make any wild decisions uh, out of the gate by any means. My question: Is there any hardcore D Gen in here who made a killing off of Carvana because if so, please raise your hand I would love to congratulate you once again I Fully missed it I wish I got a piece of the action I Just like I said I just missed it which is obviously a bit of a bummer for me. Um, but I would love to know.

Well I mean I know someone in here made a kill like someone had to make a killing off of it Carvana rug soon. Maybe they are doing a dilution, but on the flip side of it, they are also restruct. They're like wiping out a 1.2 billion dollars worth of debt. Carvana puts Roblox swings or day trade Carvana puts I think in the future, but it for me to enter it I'd have to see oh like legitimate weakness and when it's up 30 on the day, that's not really legitimate weakness.

So in the future I'm watching it for sure Roblox swing or day trip So Roblox was something I was watching yesterday and I wanted to enter on it. Let's see if it comes up. uh because I actually like it for swing I'm seeing on the daily chart a nice breakout I don't know where it's at on the day. actually it's up even higher I don't know man.

I'm liking it. It came down so I mean I could just risk 44. I mean I do like it for a multi-day multi-week swing. first Target would be 48.

it's 46 right now and my next Target would be 54. So I like it more for a swing trade than a day trade. but I would also like to enter at a little bit of a better price. like if I'm risking 44 I mean I would love to try to pick it up at like 45.
uh I don't Maybe it'll happen, maybe it won't. Um so I'm gonna put this over here on the watch list. Uh, definitely of interesting bullish swing trade for me. Uh, without a doubt.

without a doubt. without a doubt Bitcoin currently trading just below 30 000 Ripple up a bit to almost 81 cents and eat just above 1900. Uh, Carvana sold for the first three minutes, bouncing back a little bit Tesla taking a little bit of a hit hopefully holds 295 remember Uh Tesla earnings tonight? Uh Nvidia getting smacked at 475, coming down to 471, but maybe it'll turn off of this the Spy pop for the first three minutes. Now it's trying to decide what it really does or doesn't want to do on the day.

Uh NASDAQ Nosedive like the stock or the index I Don't know which one you're talking about, but this isn't a nosedive to go from 387 to 386. 25 to go down 75 cents at Market open. that's not a nose dive I Think that will happen. Prepare for my funny videos of casting spells on people at the park.

Wait is fuzzy. A wizard. Is there a wizard in here? All right? Tesla Nvidia What are you doing? Oh I'm also in Meta I Can't forget about that one. how's Meta looking? Meta Also, not the best opening.

Okay, well, calm, cool, collected. Let's see how things play out. Let's see how things play out. Carvana almost tagged dude.

this is moving like crazy. ripped up to 57, then smack to 52. that is wild Tesla Picking back up, spy picking back up Oh man I know I'm only a little bit into the day but this is I like this: Level four, five five seven five uh interesting interest on day hang on I'm double checking some of the I really don't want to break my rules of getting into early I think I have to be patient even though it's looking nice I admit it's looking nice I Just I can't bring myself to do it. try to be a bit more disciplined to your team trying to be a bit more disciplined.

Uh yeah, what levels do I have? Dude, this is the system strength. we're seeing some strength carvana taking a bit of a hit Nvidia turning around Do I want to answer them in a video position? his pie is looking good. Do I want to add to that in video position hmm in a video in video Nvidia in video not quite I'm worried about a smack f475 on Nvidia um Tesla Tesla holding well if it can hold 295 296 I mean this thing maybe even an excitement on the day pops up to 300 I could definitely see that key Technical and psychological level uh acting as a magnet on the day. the Spy seriously showing some strength seriously showing some strength uh counts currently up to 174 closing out at 159 Yesterday by the time the Market's turned off, the Nvidia is actually hurting me on the day the days p l uh not so good there with Nvidia watching the market and I am also just waiting for what am I waiting for? Oh es up to 4600.

This is definitely a magnet level. uh for my Futures Traders out there 4 600 flat Market internals starting to get even more bullish. definitely starting to get a bit more bullish. Uh, that is bullish.
That is bullish. That is bullish. I'm just doing my own sanity checks I'm trying to be a bit more serious about only training with Trends So I want to make sure my bias on the day is right and obviously if we get a mixed bag if some things are bullish, if some things are bearish I feel like those are days that maybe I just don't trade? uh spy levels. Okay for the levels: I'm watching on the Spy We broke out of yesterday's high uh, my first level and I called this out yesterday that I'd be watching from here is 456.75 which is about 75 cents above where we are right now.

Um, I think that is going to be very important. So and then after that, uh, 458 25 is my next level on the Spy. So my first level and I don't know if it breaks out I don't know if it gets rejected I don't know what's going on there, but once again, 456 75 75 cents above where we are right now and then after that, if we break and hold above there then I'm looking for 458.25 Uh, Tesla getting a little smacked. Honestly, I'm not really too worried about Tesla because like I I'm it's an earnings play like of course I would like it to go up, but today's action doesn't really.

I don't know. Doesn't really have a massive change on my life. Meta Meta's turning around a little bit. Uh I still have those Meta calls I Just thought it was a nice risk reward opportunity.

Uh, popping up yesterday, a little bit of a swing trade I Like what's going on with the daily? I'm looking for a breakout actually. I'm looking for the breakout of these recent highs. Uh, what is this one? Uh, four four three, fourteen, eighty eight, three, sixteen, Twenty four I'm looking at it popped up healthy pullback. I'm looking at the trends going to continue.

um and if we get nice movement I my risk probably around 307 308 Something like that. Let me just add an alert there. so I know if I'm missing something that I shouldn't be missing. Uh so I still have those Medicals Netflix crushed it yesterday.

Absolutely crushed it Nvidia Maybe turning back around I Want to see it above I don't know. 370 350. we'll love to say it to take out that Wick Um Tesla maybe if it can push 296 Carvana Struggling this morning after a barn burner of a pre-market section A Absolute Baron burner Nvidia picking up all right Nvidia Nvidia Um Do I want to add to this? Do I want to add to Nvidia Nvidia expires the 21st it is in the money. No.

I don't want to add to that actually. I would rather use my Capital on something else or because that when I unloaded half. but I don't feel like adding to something that's in the money. Uh I Just need a bit more patience I'm not 15 minutes into the day yet I Don't need to rush anything.

You know the Market's going to be open for many, many hours today. Nah. I'm not going to get tricked into doing something I know I shouldn't be doing. That's what the market does.
It's a little trickster. Tesla Getting smacked in video. Well, I'm happy I didn't do that I would have bought and then it got smacked right away. This is why you wait folks.

Obviously if there's going to be some examples where it would have worked out way better to get right in that open. but I find that most of the time waiting and have a bit of patience does give you better opportunities. It's not a rule that works a hundred percent of the time, but I I think it's going to be solid I think it's a solid one waiting for that. 945 Waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting.

Someone wants the Q levels. You know what? I'll happily give them to you I will happily give you the Q levels if it ever loads the levels. I'm watching on the queues. Actually the next thing, this might be crazy, but I think the next thing I'm watching is actually 389 and we're trading at 387.

that's the cues. The cues are up, the spies up a bit more. ooh Tesla maybe change in Trend here Tesla Tesla or Tesla or Tesla watching Tesla This could actually be an interesting entry in my book. Uh, Tesla pulls back.

cues are looking strong. Maybe a breakout? you know what? I'll give it a try I'll give it a try. Options to do: what is today: today's the 19th looking at the 21st on Tesla attempting to get this Breakout Hmm All right let's see how this goes. I just got some Tesla I already had Tesla but I'm doing a different position.

so the original one I had this morning and I still have is July 28th the 300s but I just bought some July 21st 305s and I'm in at 7.57 So and it's currently trading at 755 and my reason for it is literally just this. risk reward. Great. Maybe this is a breakout.

Maybe it isn't. Maybe this is a fake outbreak out I don't know. but I have very well defined risk and then the risk reward. Okay, great.

if you're getting in roughly here actually I think this. Uh, so worst case scenario, it's still a one-to-one but obviously it could break out from this point. So I'm just watching this trend line it down trending I Know there's still excitement going into it So it could just be a crazy day. like I said I think 300 is a major magnet and if I'm wrong my my risk is close by.

so okay, whatever if it gets dinged, it gets stinged and I cut it. but if it's a big breakout, another just crazy movement of a day. uh, obviously it's it's asymmetric returns. so I'm willing to take that risk.

And in fact, if I wanted to, well here, let me put it up. let's add this alert. Let's add this alert. All right.

Cool beans, Cool beans, Cool beans. So watching that on Tesla like I said. um, just for those of you who are currently areas, I just want to be as transparent as I can be Tesla July 21st, 305 I'm in at 7 57. they're currently trading at 765.
Uh, my risk is basically this current intraday low might be right, might be wrong I have no idea we're going to need some time for it to play out Nvidia Tried to pop to its opening value and getting smacked a little bit spy taking. potentially the second breather of the day, but also could be a turn on the day. Obviously an interesting level to watch would be 455 44. Uh, let me get this up just watching various levels.

honestly. I I would actually love a pole back on the spot here and then maybe one of those liquidity grabs that they break below it briefly and then they rip it off of it. Would love to see if that plays out. Would absolutely love to see if that plays out.

Uh Nvidia Nvidia Currently costing me money down another 1.9 K The position itself is still green up 3.4 K but costing me a bit of money costing me a bit of money. How do I want to handle Nvidia How do I want to handle in video Tesla's looking good and video's looking a bit weak. Meta is trying to push higher. Would love to see Meditakeout 315.

It's at 3 13 25 right now. All right I am close to taking my Nvidia gains because it's just kind of giving it back. Today's uh, my Nvidia today has given back about 15 of the live position. So very happy I scaled out of that yesterday actually.

uh, this was a nice push, but maybe it's just a double bottom continuation. I Don't know I'm just watching it, but definitely. Um, definitely could be performing a little bit better. Definitely could be performing a little bit better.

So what do we have? Coin coins Up Coins up 5.6 coins at 110 Microsofts at 358.50 Netflix is at 375 Carvana catching a bid Nvidia 472 Meta 313 50 Meta starting to pick up Apple or excuse me, where is Apple Apple's at 193 so kind of a dollar and a half away from its all-time high. Uh, definitely has been lagging this week relative to the other Tech plays. uh uh Tesla if it pushes 297 I Do believe that 300 will be acting as a magnet I Believe that 300 will be acting as a magnet. All right.

Was this my opportunity on the Spy Was this it? How is the dollar? Oh the dollar. The dollar. The dollar holding this trend line still, but not any real decisive movement trending up ever since. July 18th Uh, let me check on the cues.

Cues sold off, bounced, sold. Let's see if it can turn here. What are you doing Tesla What are you doing Tesla Tesla's struggling broke above the second trend line at 296, but failed to get up to the intraday high of 296.84 so probably a little bit of patience. Uh I Thought Nvidia was going to turn there, but now even that's taken a little bit of a smack.

Let's look at the financial sector financial sector looking strong up 0.21.2 percent. Let's look at the energy sector: Energy's looking good today. Utilities are looking good and Health Care is looking good. So another Strange Day where the thing that's stopping the spy from going? And this was true for a part of the day yesterday.
Um, what? It is the tech sector actually. so we definitely need a bit better performance in the cues. The cues actually may be gutting for an intraday low. Okay, how do I want to manage this? Um, I just don't feel like risking Nvidia I'd rather just take my leftover 3K right here.

so I'm gonna on Nvidia Um, it costs I mean I'm still in the green but it cost me 2K today. Do I want to give it like one? No, it looks heavy I just need to get out especially because the expiration date all right locked in my Nvidia um I could always re-enter It's just if if the queues really are weak and they break this low and if Nvidia breaks the low then like then instead of getting that two or three k it actually goes negative on me and I don't want that to happen. Um, once again I'm trying to I don't know, really really hold myself accountable on taking on risk so that's I could always re-enter Obviously I'm not battling with PDT if it turns right here I could kick out the expiration date I could get different strikes. it was already in the money.

it just didn't really seem necessarily worth it. Um, so frees up a little bit of capital for me to do potentially something else. Microsoft Not looking that crazy Upst: I see some people commenting about that Upst having a pretty good day going from 55 up to 58. Uh, Carvana turning back around be interesting if it takes out 54.

if it takes out 54 I think that sets up the test of the intraday high of 57. I have no Carvana position, the Spy is going flat because the cues are weak. The cues are weak. but Tesla did not seem to get the memo.

Uh, Matt is showing at 313. Meta would love to see it push 314. Tesla Battling it out at 296 about 50 cents below its intraday. High Uh, Honestly, I might even be able to move my risk up Now on this.

play old. Tesla Meta, what else? What else is moving? Coin had a nice push getting smacked through Tech is under pressure. Hopefully this is just like a double bottom. or maybe even if it pushes below 386.

A quick liquidity grab. Be cognizant of that because we've just been seeing so much of it lately. So much of it lately. where they push it below they.

there's going to be a lot of people who have their stops at the intraday low. All these people who went long in here looking at the breakout of yesterday's high liquidity grab on the top. They push it right above yesterday's high, Then they smack it. I'm wondering if they're going to do another liquidity grab on the bottom.

People who have their stop set to 385 96 just literally targeting the intraday low. I'm wondering if it's they're just gonna knock them right below that. All right. The same exact setup we've seen on Tesla that we saw at 944.

I'm now seeing on the Spy I'm now seeing on the Spy which makes me want to do something with SPX SPX options. Uh, do do do do do do? What do I want to play today? What do I want to play today? What trick should I play? This is the strike song. the song that we sing when we figure out our strikes. This is the strike song I Hope I picked the right strike that is looking pretty freaking bullish that is also looking bullish.
This is my strict song for the day that is bullish. That is bullish. It is bullish today. Is it a fake out breakout? I Have no idea.

Accuser freaking me out, accuser freaking me out. Cues are freaking me out. Energy is looking good. Financials are looking good.

The New York Stock Exchange is also looking pretty good I haven't entered quite yet because I'm a little scared. but maybe this is the time to party. um 94. hey I don't know what strike I want in reality I'm kind of happy I didn't do anything because the cues are still freaking me out I think to do anything with the Spy today I Need I mean I see Energy's good I See financials are good I see the internals of this fire Good.

What's worrying me is the cues. Like if I wish the cues could just catch a bid here like I just wanted about 386.54 and then I'd feel a bit better about this because right now this could be a bit of a fake outbreak out. Maybe we're just in this like wedge structure. Hmm, the cues are freaking me out.

Uh that Tesla play the new Tesla play is already up eight percent which is pretty nice. Uh I'm up a grand on it I'm it's trading at 8 18. I got in at 7 57. not a bad deal.

Dude are the cues get a break or not? I mean I guess I could do it and just keep my wrist really tight. Hmm do I want to do it I could go half size I don't have to go full size bed because it's still interesting to me. brother brother brother brother brother brother brother brother brother brother. What are you guys feeling? Is this gonna go? or is it gonna get smacked? It's just cues are being indecisive here Dixie Tesla's now taking a hit Nvidia maybe a liquidity to grab there Netflix not looking the best Microsoft coin Apple a lot of these Tech names Meta's going oh man, lethargic or the cues.

the cues might be picking up like I said I'm gonna feel a lot better. Okay, maybe this is the opportunity. Maybe this is the opportunity. Hmm I have the order queued up executed Uh.

spy calls is what? I just well SPX calls attempting to save myself a little bit on taxes if five winners I did xbx uh 4590 July 20th I got in at 670. they're actually trading at 6 55 right now. um I did a full-size bet on that one. Um so I'm looking for a continuation.

Uh, on the Spy Like I said I'm watching four five six seven five four five Six Seven Five is my target. The reason I was a little bit hesitant is this pullback in here I actually wanted it to be a little bit deeper. Um and then I Got a little concerned about the cues, but the cues are showing strength. um on the Spy It's kind of weird I was a little late for the entry.
This would have been nice right here on the retest, but on the cues I was a little early because this breakout isn't confirmed so kind of straddling the line there. Meta's looking good. Let's bring Carvana back up. I Know there's a lot of people interested in Carvana and let's also bring Tesla there's Tesla All right, don't really need this trendline anymore.

Current intraday high is 297.48 and I think I could move my new Tesla risk to about 295.66 cues I might be getting lucky here if this proves to just kind of be a bit of a fake out the recapture 386.56 If it can hold that, this bar here at 953 I consider that to be significant, so watching that looks like I might have got a little lucky I think I was a little late on the Spy a little early on the cues, but whatever, so so be it. All right? So current intraday high on the Spy is about to be taken out 456 12 we're at 456.04.06 Uh, like I said targeting 456.75 as my first Target The reason I'm comfortable being bullish today is obviously there's been a lot of optimism in the market. A lot of people just like fomoing in, so that's like a side benefit. but in reality if we look at Price action, the daily Trend the four hours Trend and the two hour Trend are all pointing upward I Like that the seasonality of today is bullish.

I Like that the market internals to the S P 500 as of now, and obviously this can change on a moment's notice. Let me double check. That's bullish and that one's trending bullish, but a little bit more neutral. Let me double check this.

That's bullish. Let me double check this. That's bullish. That's bullish.

Uh, so as of now I see no legitimate reason to This is what I was worried about. The cues are lagging. The cues are lagging. Um, got smacked right at that level.

I Needed the breakout. So honestly, in terms of larger medium to larger time frame stuff, uh, for this day trade for this swing trade I'm liking it. The only thing I'm not liking right now is the cues weakness. but the energy sector.

strong oil trading at almost 77 a barrel energy. Really good. Um, if we look at financials pretty good I mean The only legitimate Miss was Goldman Sachs So um I don't see the argument if you're a day trader or swing Trader to be bearish right now. Like to me, there's no indication that it's a smart move to be bearish at this moment in time.

Obviously, in a minute and five minutes, things can change. But if you're not bullish I Mean remember sitting on your hands is also a position you don't have to be trading right now. So if you're like, well I think it's overextended to be bullish. Great.

Just sit there and wait for something to set up. Matt How do you calculate when to sell a call position if it's trading at an all-time new? High Um, that's when I Like would employ personally some Trend following techniques. So um I would just be looking for a continuation on whatever time frame you're trading to be higher highs, higher lows, higher highs, higher lows. Um, that's what I would look in the bar structure and then if it's hitting like certain Fibonacci extensions, maybe scale out.
That's a technique you can use. There's various ones like I'm not going to sit here and campaign and be like this is the perfect way to do it, but those are popular ways. Fibonacci Extensions Basic Trend Following: Uh, looking for moving averages that keep pointing up and if they start to go sideways or bend over, that could be the sign of a reversal so you can look at extreme over extensions whether it's in your RSI your Macd, those are all things that. or maybe you even use a Confluence of them together.

That's totally possible. All right. So the cues are picking up. That's good.

Let me just set an alert right here. just so I know if it turns back around. Uh Nvidia picking back up Meta's looking good I'm liking the metal play Spy Just had a new intraday High Go Go Go. All right.

So let me set this alert to know if there's a pullback. Uh, Carvana getting hit with a little bit of a pullback? Okay, what else? Tesla just chilling at 296 and some change might have a weird trading day. Just like you never know this type of stuff that's going to go on as it heads into earnings. Apple actually not having a good day Microsoft just going sideways.

Coin did pop, pulled back, but maybe turning if it can get above and hold above 109. that could be interesting Netflix maybe a bit of a bounce on Netflix bit of a bounce on Netflix potential liquidity grab right there. We previously had a low of 470 55 and then they overshot it by about 40 cents. 44 cents.

Maybe bouncing out of it could watch this trend line on Netflix spy is looking strong watching the cues Uh Tesla taking a bit of a hit. a bit of a Tesla Tesla Tesla my July 21st ones are now only up two percent so definitely giving back some money on Old Tesla Give them back money on Old Tesla Uh oh Tesla doing some not fun stuff I'm my Tesla position at this level is roughly break even. Um so I might just cut it and I could always re-enter because once again, I'd rather just not take on a loser Netflix I Thought was trending up to this trend line uh, but also getting smacked hard. What happened to the cues? Oh, the queue is potentially coming back down All right.

I Mean if it can stay above I mean maybe this is just a retest. The tech sector's definitely been weak. Just imagine where this buy would be right now. if tech wasn't holding us down.

Imagine where we would be. The things we could do the freaking things we could do. Hopefully this is just a health check. A reasonable health check.
Come on spy, get going. Q's definitely having a wildly different day than the Spy the Spy just now popping to a new intraday. High Hopefully that'll give some optimism to the NASDAQ Tesla doing its thing could have a very weird price action just because it is such a big earnings day for it. Netflix maybe turning Nvidia just kind of chopping Tesla I think breaking down.

Oh got smacked right above the opening high smapped at 297.50 Oh brother. Now the Spy the Spy tried to even get going the cues are looking a little heavy now. Rut row rut row. dude.

Tech is just not doing its part today. all of my potential breakdown alerts are going off like crazy. Come on, let's go. Tesla Lead the party back to the upside Netflix from 480 down to 473.

Netflix may be catching a bin I Kinda want Netflix calls, but the cues are freaking me out. The cues are definitely freaking me out. Um, your stream is more behind than normal. shouldn't be.

Why don't you just try reloading it. Give it the old reload. Am I crazy to want Netflix calls. Is that how insane is that? Is it super super insane? Or just like, a little bit weird, come on cues.

you gotta turn it around for us man. Tesla with a bit of a bounce, try to fight itself if it holds 295.50 I think we're looking good and still on Tesla I mean Tesla is up. it's up 2.35 cents I got Tesla too high. That's why you shouldn't Chase if you're bullish, you gotta wait for a pullback.

Or like maybe right when like a trend line like I got him, it was trending down down, down and it looked to be switching that Trend that's when I entered. Don't chase like chasing on like new breakouts or new breakdowns. Like chasing is how you just get utterly screwed once in a while. It works out.

maybe you got in on a breakout or a breakdown that it just continues from there. But even this, like the people who bought the Spy like right here right away, you just get smacked like it. It happens all of the time. I'm telling you, the sooner you just stop yourself from like whatever time frame you're on those breakouts, to the upside chasing it bullish, or the breakouts, to the downside, chasing it.

Bears You're trading will vastly vastly improve your emotional. Capital Your emotional state, your psychology, your bank account, your trading account, everything. Everything will improve if you just get yourself from chasing. What about dollar cost averaging? That's more of an investing technique.

Uh, that I'm a fan of. but still, that dollar cost averaging doesn't mean Chase it. Oh, Netflix All right, I just need more alerts. There's too many things moving I Don't wanna be missing it cues.

You gotta save yourself. Even the Spy is trying to hold up for just saying like, hey man, what are you doing here It's getting a little a little crazy that the cues don't wanna do what the financial sector is doing. the energy sector is doing just a weird day, but maybe that's to be expected. Maybe we're just overall gonna have a weird day as we're going into the first major Tech reports being Tesla and uh Netflix are reporting today Netflix Training at 472 I Think about 474 is kind of interesting Microsoft There we go.
Tesla There we go Spy rum Tesla Meta Meta's on the move. Dude egg tracks Meta. This might be a good swing trade. remember I'm not day trading Um Meta.

It's definitely a swing trade I Want to actually see if it can get this breakout above 316.25 and keep pushing? Uh, just for those of you, my Meta position is 325 for July 28th. So I have a week and a half on that I'm in at 9 35. They're trading at 11 35. So I'm up 21 Tesla I Just got back to break even on the day trade ones.

The swing trade ones that were up 26 SPX the day trade ones I'm in are up nine percent and the swing trade ones are up 207. Account is currently trading at 179 000. Uh. recovery.

Definitely a recovery off of Oh I Forgot about my Futures trade I should have got into a Futures Contract in here. Uh, maybe it'll give me a pullback to get into I don't know I don't know if I missed it I missed it oh unless I think the cues are gonna bounce oh idea and then q u two three uh Jimmy Neutron Brain Blast idea Jimmy Neutron Brain Blast Yes and I could just risk that race and low. why not take a step? why not take a stab at it? You deserve it. Matt Boom brother.

All right. instead of Es in the Futures Market which is the S P 500 I decided to go with um, the NASDAQ just risk reward and the reason I picked that was the risk reward was just a little bit more favorable if I'm I'm chasing on the Spy right here. but on the cues, No. I could just risk the intraday low or and I if we get the breakout of 86.80 Okay, cool, it works.

Um, now you could argue. Well, hang on. Why would you go long on the like indices that is weaker and that's a fair argument. And the answer is because I'm a greedy little that wants money.

That's why that's why that's why that's why. Uh, but I do need to set up some risk I do need to set up a bit of risk. Okay I did that looks like it's risking about 600 bucks? Oh no. Oh no.

Q's Q's cues don't do this to me. Q's Q's cues don't do this to me. That was nice. We had a little bit of optimism there.

a little bit of optimism in the cues. that was a pop. a nice just double bottom pop up. but unfortunately we didn't reach to New high.

So we have the same low but low or high. Not the best setup we see. Tesla With the recovery above 296 it went to 296.50s and that one even got smacked It we're getting today. It feels strange like we're getting these moments.

We're like oh it's about to get going and like something happens like there's a pop and then like it's just quickly smacked. Strange day. Uh, the Spy is looking good, spy is looking good. The my concern is definitely in the tech sector.
Definitely definitely in the tech sector. Med is looking good. Uh Tesla's holding on just below 296 Nvidia question mark Nvidia almost try to get a break out there. Uh Nvidia for my day Nvidia day Traders Something interesting to watch for sure.

Maybe if it takes out 72 30 25 I don't know Nvidia maybe setting up kind of looks looking like how Tesla looked earlier today. Uh, but once again, you might want to wait for confirmation of the cues. I Mean the cues are just lagging hard right now? Uh, cues are lagging hard. Do I just want to cut that Futures position before it gets bad I took a stab at it.

was trying to wondering if this was a high or low worthwhile to buy, but getting a little chopped right now Microsoft Looking weak Apple looking like nothing coin now looking weak. Um, would we have maybe Nvidia carries up them? No even Nvidia is getting smacked now. Boom brother. All right, my wrist just got hit on that Futures trade.

Um, it happens. pick a stab at it. kept my wrist close and I got smoked smoked so that's not good. Uh Tesla coming around a little bit Meta coming around a little bit Meta Apple I mean if Apple could pick up what's Google doing today Google 's even looking dude Tech is just screwing up the game today.
